| 16 | HOXB8 contributed to oxaliplatin chemo-resistance in colon cancercells by activating STAT3显示文摘Background:Homeobox B8(HOXB8),a member of HOX family,plays a key role in the development of colorectal cancer(CRC).However,the function of HOXB8 in oxaliplatin(OXA)resistance in CRC is still unclear.This study investigated the role and precise molecular mechanism of HOXB8 in OXA-resistant CRC cells.Methods:The cell viability was measured by the 3-[4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl]-2,5 diphenyl tetrazolium bromide(MTT)assay,and the colony forming ability was determined by colony formation assay.The silencing RNA(siRNA)approach was used to knockdown HOXB8 in CRC cells while the lentiviral transfection system was used to establish stable HOXB8 overexpressing CRC cells.The protein and mRNA levels were evaluated by western blot and real-time reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction.Results:HOXB8 expression was upregulated in OXA-resistant HCT116 cells(HCT116/OXA)compared to its level in the parent HCT116 cells.Knockdown of HOXB8 significantly inhibited CRC cell growth by suppressing the signal transducer and activator of transcription 3(STAT3)pathway.HOXB8 knockdown also potentiated cytotoxicity of OXA in CRC cells.Inversely,HOXB8 overexpression attenuated OXAinduced growth inhibition of HCT116 cells and RKO cells by activating STAT3 signaling.HOXB8 knockdown effectively inhibited HCT116/OXA cell viability regardless of OXA treatment by suppressing STAT3 signaling.Conclusions:These results shed light on the important functions of HOXB8 in OXA-resistant CRC and suggested that targeting HOXB8 might be an effective therapeutic strategy for select OXA-resistant CRC patients. | LIANLI NI YUN YU HAN LIN WEISHAN ZHUGE LU TAO YIWEI SHEN RI CUI SHAOTANG LI | 2023 | BIOCELL2023,47,10: | 0 |
| 17 | Lichen Planus Pigmentosus Inversus:Two Case Reports显示文摘Introduction:Lichen planus pigmentosus inversus(LPPI)is a rare a rare variant of lichen planus characterized by hyperpigmented patches with predominating localization in intertriginous areas.Due to its rarity,only a few LPPI cases are reported.We herein describe two rare cases of LPPI.Case presentation:The two patients were all with a brownish macular lesion on the intertriginous area.A diagnosis of LPPI was made based on their clinical manifestations,dermoscopic features,and histopathologic features,which revealed an interface change,lichenoid infiltration,and pigmentary incontinence.Discussion:LPPI is pruritic or asymptomatic,hyperpigmented macules and patches on the flexural folds.The axillae and flanks were the most commonly affected areas,followed by the groin and genitalia.About half of the female patients had inframammary fold lesions.LPPI shows higher female predominance than Lichen planus pigmentosus.There were fewer cases that lasted more than 3 years compared to LPP.Conclusion:LPPI is a rare variant of lichen planus,with a locational characteristic and female predominance.Therefore,in the case of a pigmented disease occurring in the flexural folds,it should be placed in the differential diagnosis. | Se Hoon Lee Minah Cho Yu Jin Han Yu Ri Woo Sang Hyun Cho Jeong Deuk Lee Hei Sung Kim | 2022 | International Journal of Dermatology and Venereology2022,5,2: | 0 |
| 18 | Unveil the Redox Evolution of Ore-forming Fluids using Sulfur Isotope:A Case Study of the Zhengguang Intermediate Sulfidation Epithermal Au-Zn Deposit,NE China显示文摘Oxygen fugacity(fO_(2))is a key intensity variable during the entire magmatic-hydrothermal mineralization courses.The redox state and its variations between different stages of the ore-forming fluids of intermediate sulfidation epithermal deposits are rarely deciphered due to the lack of appropriate approaches to determine fO_(2)of the fluids.Here,we reported theδ^(34)S of the sulfides from three different stages(stageⅠ,Ⅱ,Ⅲ)of Zhengguang,an Early Ordovician Au-rich intermediate sulfidation(IS)epithermal deposit,to decipher the redox evolution of the ore-forming fluids.The increasingδ^(34)S values from stageⅠpyrite(pyl,average-2.6‰)through py2(average-1.9‰)to py3(average-0.2‰)indicates a decrease of the oxygen fugacity of the ore-forming fluids.A compilation ofδ^(34)S values of sulfides from two subtypes of IS deposits(Au-rich and Ag-rich)from NE China shows that theδ^(34)S values of sulfides from Au-rich IS deposits are systematically lighter than those of Ag-rich IS Ag-Pb-Zn deposit,indicating the ore-forming fluids of the former are more oxidized than the latter.We highlight that sulfur isotopic composition of hypogene sulfides is an efficacious proxy to fingerprint the oxygen fugacity fluctuations of epithermal deposits and could potentially be used to distinguish the subtypes of IS deposits. | WANG Le GAO Shen QIN Kezhang SONG Guoxue HAN Ri SU Shiqiang GUO Jihai PANG Xuyong LI Guangming | 2023 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2023,97,5: | 0 |
| 19 | Discussion of reasonable drilling parameters in impregnated diamond bit drilling显示文摘The impregnated diamond(ID)bit drilling is one of the main rotary drilling methods in hard rock drilling and it is widely used in mineral exploration,oil and gas exploration,mining,and construction industries.In this study,the quadratic polynomial model in ID bit drilling process was proposed as a function of controllable mechanical operating parameters,such as weight on bit(WOB)and revolutions per minute(RPM).Also,artificial neural networks(ANN)model for predicting the rate of penetration(ROP)was developed using datasets acquired during the drilling operation.The relationships among mechanical operating parameters(WOB and RPM)and ROP in ID bit drilling were analyzed using estimated quadratic polynomial model and trained ANN model.The results show that ROP has an exponential relationship with WOB,whereas ROP has linear relationship with RPM.Finally,the optimal regime of mechanical drilling parameters to achieve high ROP was confirmed using proposed model in combination with rock breaking principal. | PAK Kumdol HO Yinchol PENG Jianming RI Jaemyong HAN Changson | 2023 | Global Geology2023,26,2: | 0 |
