1Integrated study of the water–ecosystem–economy in the Heihe River Basin显示文摘The ecological water diversion project in the Heihe River Basin is the irst successful case in China in which the ecological systems in a river basin have been rescued. his project serves as a valuable example for the management of ecosystems in other inland river basins. his paper reviews the integrated studies of the water–ecosystem–economy relationship in the Heihe River Basin and concludes that sustainable development in inland river basins requires the basin to be considered as a whole, with the relationships between the upstream, midstream and downstream areas of the basin coordinated appropriately. 2Isotopic evidence for the moisture origin and composition of surface runoff in the headwaters of the Heihe River basin显示文摘We investigated the moisture origin and contribution of different water sources to surface runoff entering the headwaters of the Heihe River basin on the basis of NECP/NCAR(National Centers for Environmental Prediction/National Center for Atmospheric Research) re-analysis data and variations in the stable hydrogen and oxygen isotope ratios(δ D and δ 18O) of precipitation,spring,river,and melt water. The similar seasonality in precipitation δ 18O at different sites reveals the same moisture origin for water entering the headwaters of the Heihe River basin. The similarity in the seasonality of δ 18O and d-excess for precipitation at Yeniugou and Urumchi,which showed more positive δ 18O and lower d-excess values in summer and more negative δ 18O and higher d-excess values in winter,indicates a dominant effect of westerly air masses in summer and the integrated influence of westerly and polar air masses in winter. Higher d-excess values throughout the year for Yeniugou suggest that in arid inland areas of northwestern China,water is intensively recycled. Temporal changes in δ 18O,δ D,and d-excess reveal distinct contributions of different bodies of water to surface runoff. For example,there were similar trends for δ D,δ 18O,and d-excess of precipitation and river water from June to September,similar δ 18O trends for river and spring water from December to February,and similar trends for precipitation and runoff volumes. However,there were significant differences in δ 18O between melt water and river water in September. 3Simple and cost-effective methods for precise analysis of trace element abundances in geological materials with ICP-MS显示文摘Inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry(ICP-MS) is the most commonly used technique to determine the abundances of trace elements in a wide range of geological materials. However, incomplete sample digestion, isobaric interferences and instrumental drift remain obvious problems that must be overcome in order to obtain precise and accurate results. For this reason, we have done many experiments and developed a set of simple, cost-effective and practical methods widely applicable for precise and rapid determination of trace element abundances in geological materials using ICP-MS. Commonly used high-pressure digestion technique is indeed effective in decomposing refractory phases, but this inevitably produces fluoride complexes that create new problems. We demonstrate that the fluoride complexes formed during high-pressure digestion can be readily re-dissolved using high-pressure vessel at 190 °C for only 2 h for 50 mg sample. In the case of isobaric interferences, although oxide(e.g., MO+/M+) and hydroxide(e.g., MOH+/M+) productivity is variable between runs, the(MO+/M+)/(Ce O+/Ce+)and(MOH+/M+)/(Ce O+/Ce+) ratios remain constant, making isobaric interference correction for all other elements of interest straightforward, for which we provide an easy-to-use off-line procedure. We also show that mass-time-intensity drift curve is smooth as recognized previously, for which the correction can be readily done by analyzing a quality-control(QC) solution and using off-line Excel VBA procedure without internal standards. With these methods, we can produce data in reasonable agreement with recommended values of international rock reference standards with a relative error of <8% and precision generally better than 5%. 6Ecohydrological change mechanism of a rainfed revegetation ecosystem at southeastern edge of Tengger desert,Northwest China显示文摘Study is made on a 45 km-long artificial ecosystem without irrigation in Tengger desert on the basis of long-term ecological monitoring and ecohydrological fundamentals.Changes in water allocation, utilization, cycle and balance patterns in more than 40-year evolution of the soil-plant system are analyzed. The formation of a drought horizon in shrub rhizosphere and its effect, ecohydrological function of the crust and its effect on the soil-plant system change are discussed. 7Reliability Evaluation of Electricity-heat Integrated Energy System with Heat Pump显示文摘Integrated energy system(IES)has the advantages of improving the efficiency of energy utilization and promoting the consumption of renewable energy.It is of great importance to evaluate the reliability of an IES.This paper proposes a novel reliability evaluation method for the electricity-heat IES with heat pump.First,the load-point reliability indices and systemlevel reliability indices are defined according to the characteristics of electricity-heat IES.Second,the model of maximum output heat power of heat pump at the user-side considering the safety criterion of distribution network is established,and the stepvaried repeated power flow method is applied to solve the model.Third,the reliability evaluation procedure of electricityheat IES with heat pump based on the Monte Carlo simulation is presented.Case studies are carried out on the electricityheat IES of an industrial park,and the results show that the configuration site,capacity and coefficient of performance of heat pump as well as the security constraints of distribution network can significantly affect the reliability indices.Shenxi Zhang Min Wen Haozhong Cheng Xiao Hu Guodong Xu 2018CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2018,4,4:7
8The westerly fluctuation and water vapor transport over the Qilian-Heihe valley显示文摘The westerly fluctuation and the atmospheric water vapor transport over the Qilian-Heihe valley are analyzed and the results show that, in the water vapor transport stream field from Jun to September, this valley is in the westerly stream and the water vapor comes from westerlies water transport via the Black Sea and the Caspian Sea. The net water vapor transport is less net import and different from most areas of the northwest China. The interannual changes in water vapor transport over the valley arise from the westerly fluctuation, and have a positive relationship to the interannual changes in westerly wind speed. The cold air actions from the Mongol low pressure are the primary system that controls the westerly water vapor transport. Its action chain is that, the Mongol low pressure is strengthened → the circulation meridionality will be increased → the cold air will move southwards → the westerly will be stronger → the wind convergence of direction and speed will be stronger → the water vapor convergence transport will be increased → the local water vapor content will be increased. The interannual changes in atmospheric water vapor transport over the valley rely mainly on the convergence transport, but the effect of advection transport is less. 10Loss of ARID1A Promotes Hepatocellular Carcinoma Progression via Up-regulation of MYC Transcription显示文摘Background and Aims:AT-rich interactive domain-containing protein 1A(ARID1A)is frequently mutated or deficient in hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).However,the role of ARID1A in HCC remains unclear.Therefore,the biological role of ARID1A in HCC was evaluated and a potential mechanism was investigated.Methods:Arid1a was knocked out in the livers of mice using the CRISPR/Cas9 system delivered by hydrodynamic tail vein injection.The development of HCC was observed in different mouse models.The correlation of ARID1A and prognosis in patients with HCC was analyzed using cBioPortal.The effect of ARID1A on cell proliferation was assessed by MTT assay following the manipulation of candidate genes.Results:ARID1A deficiency alone did not cause HCC in mice,but knockout of ARID1A accelerated liver tumorigenesis in response to diethylnitrosamine(DEN)or when a combination knockout of phosphatase and tensin homolog(Pten)plus tumor protein P53(p53)was introduced.ARID1A mutations were associated with a poorer prognosis in HCC patients.The mRNA level of MYC was significantly higher in patients with an ARID1A mutation compared to those without a mutation.Ectopic expression of ARID1A inhibited HCC cell proliferation.ARID1A knockout increased HCC cell growth and resulted in disruptions to DNA damage repair and apoptosis following radiation stress.Furthermore,mechanistic studies revealed that ARID1A inhibited the proliferation of HCC cells via transcriptional down-regulation of MYC.Conclusions:These results describe ARID1A as a tumor suppressor in the liver.A deficiency in ARID1A predicts worse survival in HCC patients and promotes HCC progression via up-regulation of MYC transcription.Yao Xiao Guodong Liu Xiwu Ouyang Denggao Zai Jixiang Zhou Xiaoli Li Qi Zhang Jie Zhao 2021Journal of Clinical and Translational Hepatology2021,9,4:2
11Compound-specific hydrogen isotopes of long-chain n-alkanes extracted from topsoil under a grassland ecosystem in northern China显示文摘To investigate characteristics of H isotope variation in long-chain n-alkanes (δDn-alkanes) from higher plants in surface soils under a single ecosystem, 12 samples from a basalt regolith were randomly collected from Damaping in Wanquan County of Zhangjiakou in North China. Molecular distribution and C (δ13Cn-alkanes) and H isotopes of long-chain n-alkanes, as well as C isotopes of TOC (δ13CTOC), were analyzed. Both δ13CTOC and δ13Cn-alkanes values from four representative dominant long-chain n-alkanes (n-C27, n-C29, n-C31, n-C33) derived from terrestrial higher plants show minor variations among the 12 samples, indicating the major contributor is from local grasses with a uniform C3 photosynthetic pathway. In contrast, variations in δDn-alkanes values of the four long-chain n-alkanes are relatively large, with the more abundant homologs generally showing more negative δDn-alkanes values and less variation. However, variation of <30‰ among weighted averaged δDn-alkanes values of the four long-chain n-alkanes is not only less than that among δDn-alkanes values for different modern terrestrial C3 grasses from the specific locations, but also less than the literature values of δDn-alkanes of long-chain n-alkanes for single species over different seasons. 12Case-Based Reasoning(CBR) Model for Ultra-Fast Cooling in Plate Mill显示文摘New generation thermo-mechanical control process(TMCP) based on ultra-fast cooling is being widely adopted in plate mill to product high-performance steel material at low cost. Ultra-fast cooling system is complex because of optimizing the temperature control error generated by heat transfer mathematical model and process parameters. In order to simplify the system and improve the temperature control precision in ultra-fast cooling process, several existing models of case-based reasoning(CBR) model are reviewed. Combining with ultra-fast cooling process, a developed R5 CBR model is proposed, which mainly improves the case representation, similarity relation and retrieval module. Certainty factor is defined in semantics memory unit of plate case which provides not only internal data reliability but also product performance reliability. Similarity relation is improved by defined power index similarity membership function. Retrieval process is simplified and retrieval efficiency is improved apparently by windmill retrieval algorithm. The proposed CBR model is used for predicting the case of cooling strategy and its capability is superior to traditional process model. In order to perform comprehensive investigations on ultra-fast cooling process, different steel plates are considered for the experiment. The validation experiment and industrial production of proposed CBR model are carried out, which demonstrated that finish cooling temperature(FCT) error is controlled within ±25 ℃ and quality rate of product is more than 97%. 14Flexible Oxide-Based Thin-Film Transistors on Plastic Substrates for Logic Applications显示文摘Phosphorus doped(P-doped) nanogranular SiO2 films have been deposited by plasma-enhanced chemical vapor deposition. A high proton conductivity of ~3.2x10-4S/cm and a large electric double layer(EDL) capacitance of ~3.2μF/cm2 have been obtained. Flexible coplanar-gate EDL thin film transistors(TFTs) gated by P-doped nanogranular SiO2 films are self-assembled on plastic substrates at room temperature. Due to the big EDL capacitance,such TFTs show ultra-low voltage operation of 1 V,a large field-effect mobility of 18.9 cm2/Vs,a small subthreshold swing of 85 m V/decade and a high current on/off ratio of 107. Furthermore,the EDL TFT could work in dual coplanar gate mode. AND logic operation is realized.
