2聚丙烯表面的生物相容性修饰:表面氨基放大还原胺化接枝磷酰胆碱显示文摘在氨气氛中对聚丙烯薄膜表面进行等离子处理,获得了不同浓度的表面氨基.表面氨基的数量经1,6-己二异氰酸酯键合三(2-氨乙基)胺可成倍增加.用还原胺化法将磷酰胆碱醛共价接枝到表面氨基上获得了磷酰胆碱改性的聚丙烯薄膜.X射线光电子能谱(XPS)测定结果表明,接枝磷酰胆碱基团的表面覆盖率可达20%~40%.衰减全反射傅立叶变换红外(ATR-FTIR)和动态接触角测定结果也都说明磷酸胆碱基团被成功地接枝于聚丙烯表面.还原胺化法结合等离子处理及表面氨基放大技术,有望成为获取新型生物材料的一种有效途径.宫永宽 WINNIK Francoise M 2005化学学报2005,63,7:12

5Causes of color changes in wood during drying显示文摘The forest industry operates in a dynamic and global market where change and competition are the rule rather than the exception. The color of wood is one of the most attractive features for the modern wood industry. Even when wood is chosen for its structural qualities, attractive and decorative colors are usually an important factor. In many applications, particularly in furniture, decorative products, decorative veneers and flooring, accurate matching of the color of different samples is required. Wood attributes and properties are important because they have a direct bearing on market opportunities and consumer acceptance for many types of manufactured wood products. The aim of this review is to identify causes of wood discoloration and advances in drying technology to overcome this problem. 7PREPARATION AND CHARACTERIZATION OF PVA COATED MAGNETIC NANOPARTICLES显示文摘Polyvinyl alcohol coated magnetic particles (PVA ferrofluids) have been synthesized by chemical co-precipitationof Fe(Ⅱ)/Fe(Ⅲ) salts in 1.5 mol/L NH4OH solution at 70℃ in the presence of PVA. The resultant colloidal particles havecore-shell structures, in which the iron oxide crystallites form the cores and PVA chains form the shells. The hydrodynamicdiameter of the colloidal particles is in the range of 108 to 155 nm, which increases with increasing PVA concentration from5 wt% to 20 wt%. The size of the magnetic cores is ca. 5~10 nm, which is relatively independent of PVA concentration.Under transmission electron microscopic (TEM) examination, the magnetic cores exhibit somewhat irregular shapes varyingfrom spherical, oval, to cubic. Magnetometry measurement revealed that the PVA coated magnetic particles aresuperparamagnetic. The saturation magnetization of 5 wt% and 20 wt% PVA ferrofluids at 300 K is 54 and 49 emu/g.respectively. All the PVA ferrofluids exhibited excellent colloidal stability in pure water and phosphate buffer saline (PBS,pH=7.4). 10硫化态NiW/Al_2O_3催化剂加氢脱硫活性相的研究Ⅲ.低温CO吸附-原位红外光谱表征显示文摘采用低温CO吸附 原位红外光谱法对硫化态和经过氢还原处理的W /Al2 O3 ,Ni/Al2 O3 以及不同Ni含量的NiW/Al2 O3催化剂进行了表征 .结果表明 ,在WS2 相上的两个CO特征吸收峰分别位于 2 117和 2 0 6 6cm-1处 ;硫化镍上吸附CO的特征峰位于 2 0 98cm-1处 ;NiW /Al2 O3 催化剂中引入的助剂Ni与WS2 相之间相互作用 ,并分别在 2 12 8,2 0 96和 2 0 78cm-1处出现三个新的谱峰 ,标志着NiWS活性相的形成 ,并且NiWS相的量随着助剂Ni含量的增加而增大 .在不同温度下对NiW/Al2 O3催化剂进行氢还原处理时发现 ,NiWS活性相在高温下逐步分解 ,并发生烧结 .以上结果有力地支持了前文中通过XPS ,HREM和TPR等方法所获得的有关催化剂活性相的形成及其还原分解过程的表征结果 .左东华 Francoise Mauge 聂红 Michel Vrinat 石亚华 Michel Lacroix 李大东 2004催化学报2004,25,5:4

15Compound screening platform using human induced pluripotent stem cells to identify small molecules that promote chondrogenesis显示文摘Articular cartilage,which is mainly composed of collagen Ⅱ,enables smooth skeletal movement.Degeneration of collagen Ⅱ can be caused by various events,such as injury,but degeneration especially increases over the course of normal aging.Unfortunately,the body does not fully repair itself from this type of degeneration,resulting in impaired movement.Microfracture,an articular cartilage repair surgical technique,has been commonly used in the clinic to induce the repair of tissue at damage sites.Mesenchymal stem cells(MSC)have also been used as cell therapy to repair degenerated cartilage.However,the therapeutic outcomes of all these techniques vary in different patients depending on their age,health,lesion size and the extent of damage to the cartilage.The repairing tissues either form fibrocartilage or go into a hypertrophic stage,both of which do not reproduce the equivalent functionality of endogenous hyaline cartilage.One of the reasons for this is inefficient chondrogenesis by endogenous and exogenous MSC.Drugs that promote chondrogenesis could be used to induce self-repair of damaged cartilage as a non-invasive approach alone,or combined with other techniques to greatly assist the therapeutic outcomes.The recent development of human induced pluripotent stem cell(iPSCs),which are able to self-renew and differentiate into multiple cell types,provides a potentially valuable cell resource for drug screening in a“more relevant”cell type.Here we report a screening platform using human iPSCs in a multi-well plate format to identify compounds that could promote chondrogenesis.Sheng-Lian Yang Erica Harnish Thomas Leeuw Uwe Dietz Erika Batchelder Paul SWright Jane Peppard Paul August Cecile Volle-Challier Francoise Bono Jean-Marc Herbert Juan Carlos Izpisua Belmonte 2012Protein & Cell2012,3,12:3

17L-carnitine protects C2C12 cells against mitochondrial superoxide overproduction and cell death显示文摘AIM To identify and characterize the protective effect that L-carnitine exerted against an oxidative stress in C2C12 cells.METHODS Myoblastic C2C12 cells were treated with menadione, a vitamin K analog that engenders oxidative stress, and the protective effect of L-carnitine(a nutrient involved in fatty acid metabolism and the control of the oxidative process), was assessed by monitoring various parameters related to the oxidative stress, autophagy and cell death. RESULTS Associated with its physiological function, a muscle cell metabolism is highly dependent on oxygen and may produce reactive oxygen species(ROS), especially under pathological conditions. High levels of ROS are known to induce injuries in cell structure as they interact at many levels in cell function. In C2C12 cells, a treatment with menadione induced a loss of transmembrane mitochondrial potential, an increase in mitochondrial production of ROS; it also induces autophagy and was able to provoke cell death. Pre-treatment of the cells with L-carnitine reduced ROS production, diminished autophagy and protected C2C12 cells against menadione-induced deleterious effects.
