| 2 | An Overview of Performance Characteristics, Experiencesand Trends of Aerospace Engine Bearings Technologies显示文摘In this paper, the operating conditions, technical requirements, performance characteristics, design ideas, application experiences and development trends of aerospace engine bearings, including material technology, integration design and reliability, are reviewed. The development history of aerospace engine bearing is recalled briefly at first. Then today’s material technologies and the high bearing performances of the bearings obtained through the new materials are introduced, which play important rolls in the aeroengine bearing developments. The integration design ideas and practices are explained to indicate its significant advantages and importance to the aerospace engine bearings. And the reliability of the shaft-bearing system is pointed out and treated as the key requirement with goals for both engine and bearing. Finally, as it is believed that the correct design comes from practice, the pre-qualification rig testing conducted by FAG Aerospace GmbH & Co. KG is briefly illustrated as an example. | 3 | Fundamentals of Design and Technology of Rolling Element Bearings显示文摘This article presents an overview of fundamentals of rolling element bearing designs and technologies.The aim is to outline the complex interrelation of all fundamentals with the rolling contact fatigue and the attainable bearing life.Such fundamentals include,amongst others,bearing stressing and life capability.The article shows the different types of rolling bearing stressing and the analysis of the stress distribution (principal stresses and equivalent stresses) in the material under the rolling contact area.It becomes obvious that the contamination of the bearing with foreign particles leads to a drastic reduction in bearing life.Furthermore,it demonstrates the impact of the bearing lubrication and coating as well as the effect of additives on the attainable life and wear.Further fundamentals of rolling element bearing design are the materials,the material cleanliness and the heat treatment.The article reveals the importance of the cleanliness of bearing steels as well as different types of inclusions and their effect on rolling contact fatigue.Additionally the article describes how to optimize the material properties (strength,toughness and residual stress) by the heat treatment processes.The outcome of these investigations is that endurance life of a rolling element bearing can be achieved if specific operating conditions,an adequate lubrication,good system cleanliness and specific bearing stressing are met.The article provides a guideline for bearing engineers on how designs and technologies can be applied to optimizing a bearing for a particular industry or aerospace application. | Franz-Josef Ebert | 2010 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2010，23，1： | 11 |

| 6 | Prevalence of H pylori associated 'high risk gastritis' for development of gastric cancer in patients with normal endoscopic findings显示文摘AIM: To investigate the prevalence of H pylori associated corpus-predominant gastritis (CPG) or pangastritis, severe atrophy, and intestinal metaplasia (IM) in patients without any signifi cant abnormal fi ndings during upper- GI endoscopy. METHODS: Gastric biopsies from 3548 patients were obtained during upper GI-endoscopy in a 4-year period. Two biopsies from antrum and corpus were histologically assessed according to the updated Sydney-System. Eight hundred and forty-fi ve patients (mean age 54.8 ± 2.8 years) with H pylori infection and no peptic ulcer or abnormal gross fi ndings in the stomach were identifi ed and analyzed according to gastritis phenotypes using different scoring systems. RESULTS: The prevalence of severe H pylori associated changes like pangastritis, CPG, IM, and severe atrophy increased with age, reaching a level of 20% in patients of the age group over 45 years. No differences in frequencies between genders were observed. The prevalence of IM had the highest increase, being 4-fold higher at the age of 65 years versus in individuals less than 45 years. CONCLUSION: The prevalence of gastritis featuring at risk for cancer development increases with age. These findings reinforce the necessity for the histological assessment, even in subjects with normal endoscopic appearance. | 11 | Anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction using a double bundle hamstring autograft configuration in patients under 30 years显示文摘BACKGROUND Anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction(ACLR)has a high incidence of re-tear in younger patients.Despite comparable functional outcomes,the incidence of retear using single and double bundle ACLR methods has not been well reported.AIM To hypothesize that double bundle hamstring ACLR has a lower graft rupture rate compared with single bundle hamstring ACLR grafts in young patients.METHODS One hundred and twelve patients<30 years of age at the time of primary double bundle ACLR were eligible for study participation.91(81.3%)could be contacted,with a mean age of 20.4 years(range 13-29)and mean post-operative follow-up time of 59 mo(range 25-107).Telephone questionnaires evaluated the incidence(and timing)of subsequent re-tear and contralateral ACL tear,further surgeries,incidence and time to return to sport,and patient satisfaction.RESULTS Of the 91 patients,there were 6(6.6%,95%CI:1.4-11.7)ACL graft re-ruptures,with a mean time to re-rupture of 28 mo(range 12-84).Fourteen patients(15.4%)experienced a contralateral ACL rupture and 14 patients(15.4%)required further surgery to their ipsilateral knee.fifty patients(54.9%)returned to pre-injury level of sport.Of those<20 years(n=45),4 patients(8.9%,95%CI:0.4-17.3)experienced a re-rupture,with mean time to re-injury 15 mo(range 12-24).Comparative analysis with existing literature and revealed a non-significant Chisquared statistic of 2.348(P=0.125).CONCLUSION A trend existed toward lower graft rupture rates in young patients undergoing double bundle ACLR utilizing a hamstring autograft,compared with rates reported after single bundle ACLR. | Christopher Reece Lim Tamalee Henson Jay Ebert Peter Annear | 2019 | World Journal of Orthopedics2019，10，12： | 2 |
