Ultrasensitive skin‐like wearable optical sensors based on glass micro/nanofibers显示文摘Electronic skin,a class of wearable electronic sensors that mimic the functionalities of human skin, has made remarkable success in applications including health monitoring,human-machine interaction and electronic-biological interfaces. While electronic skin continues to achieve higher sensitivity and faster response, its ultimate performance is fundamentally limited by the nature of low-frequency AC currents.Herein, highly sensitive skin-like wearable optical sensors are demonstrated by embedding glass micro/nanofibers(MNFs)in thin layers of polydimethylsiloxane(PDMS).Enabled by the transition from guided modes into radiation modes of the waveguiding MNFs upon external stimuli, the skin-like optical sensors show ultrahigh sensitivity(1870 k·Pa^-1),low detection limit(7 mPa)and fast response(10μs)for pressure sensing, significantly exceeding the performance metrics of state-of-the-art electronic skins.Electromagnetic interference(EMI)-free detection of high-frequency vibrations, wrist pulse and human voice are realized. Moreover,a five-sensor optical data glove and a 2×2-MNF tactile sensor are demonstrated. These initial results pave the way toward a new category of optical devices ranging from ultrasensitive wearable sensors to optical skins. | Lei Zhang Jing Pan Zhang Zhang Hao Wu Ni Yao Dawei Cai Yingxin Xu Jin Zhang Guofei Sun Liqiang Wang Weidong Geng Wenguang Jin Wei Fang Dawei Di Limin Tong | 2020 | Opto-Electronic Advances2020,3,3: | 12
MiRNA-429 suppresses the growth of gastric cancer cells in vitro显示文摘Micro-RNAs(miRNAs) have been found to be implicated in a very wide range of physiological processes. This study was aimed to investigate the regulation of miRNA-429(miR-429) in gastric cancer cells on cell proliferation and apoptosis.Quantitative PCR was employed to detect the expressions of miR-429 after eukaryotic expression plasmid of miR-429 and its inhibitor were transiently transfected into poorly differentiated human gastric can-cer cell line BGC823.The 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide(MTT) reduction as-says were used to examine proliferation ability.Apoptosis was analyzed by flow cytometry after transfection. The results showed that 48 h after transfection, overexpression of miR-429 reached maximum efficiency.Compared with mock transfection,miR-429 inhibited tumor cell proliferation significantly(P < 0.05) at 48 h and 72 h.of Overexpression of miR-429 promoted tumor cell apoptosis when compared with mock transfected cells(P < 0.05).On the contrary,miR-429 inhibitor promoted tumor cell proliferation and inhibited apoptosis when compared with controls(P < 0.05).Our results suggested that miRNA-429 may serve as a tumor suppressor during tumorigenesis of gastric cancer and may be a potential gastric cancer therapeutic target. | Di Liu Peng Xia Dongmei Diao Yao Cheng Hao Zhang Dawei Yuan Chen Huang Chengxue Dang | 2012 | The Journal of Biomedical Research2012,26,5: | 12

DNA degradation within mouse brain and dental pulp cells 72 hours postmortem显示文摘In this study, we sought to elucidate the process of DNA degradation in brain and dental pulp cells of mice, within postmortem 0-72 hours, by using the single cell gel electrophoresis assay and professional comet image analysis and processing techniques. The frequency of comet-like cells, the percentage of tail DNA, tail length, tail moment, Olive moment and tail area increased in tandem with increasing postmortem interval. In contrast, the head radius, the percentage of head DNA and head area showed a decreasing trend. Linear regression analysis revealed a high correlation between these parameters and the postmortem interval. The findings suggest that the single cell gel electrophoresis assay is a quick and sensitive method to detect DNA degradation in brain and dental pulp cells, providing an objective and accurate new way to estimate postmortem interval. | Jilong Zheng Xiaona Li Di Shan Han Zhang Dawei Guan | 2012 | Neural Regeneration Research2012,7,4: | 5
Exosomes derived from human umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells reduce tendon injuries via the miR-27b-3p/ ARHGAP5/RhoA signaling pathway显示文摘Tendon injuries are common clinical issues resulted from tissue overuse and age-related degeneration.Previous sutdies have suggested that exosomes secreted by mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)contribute to tissue injury repair. Here,we provide evidence for a critical role of human umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cell(hucMSC)-derived exosomes in reducing tendon injury by activating the RhoA signaling.Treatment of primary injured tenocytes with hucMSC exosomes increases cell proliferation and invasion, which correlates with increased RhoA activity.RhoA mediates the effects of hucMSC exosomes,as treatment of primary injured tenocytes with the RhoA inhibitor,CCG-1423,abolishes the effects of hucMSC exosomes on cell proliferation and invasion.Mechanistically,we observe that hucMSC exosomes induce the expression of a microRNA,miR-27b-3p,which targets and suppresses ARHGAP5,a negative regulator of RhoA.Consistent with this observation,ARHGAP5 overexpression suppresses the effects of hucMSC exosomes on cell proliferation and invasion, while knockdown of ARHGAP5 rescues these effects. Finally,we demonstrate the functional significance of our findings in vivo using an Achilles tendon injury model and show that treatment with exosomes reduces tendon injury in rats, which correlates with increased RhoA activity and reduced ARHGAP5 expression.Taken together, our findings highlight a critical role of hucMSC exosomes in reducing tendon injury via miR-27b-3p-mediated suppression of ARHGAP5,resulting in RhoA activation, and leading to increased cell proliferation and invasion of primary injured tenocytes. | Qinghui Han Shuguang Wang Dawei Chen Di Gan Tao Wang | 2022 | Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2022,54,2: | 2
Cooperative Privacy Provisioning for Energy Harvesting Based Cognitive Multi-Relay Networks显示文摘In order to provide privacy provisioning for the secondary information,we propose an energy harvesting based secure transmission scheme for the cognitive multi-relay networks. In the proposed scheme, two secondary relays harvest energy to power the secondary transmitter and assist the secondary secure transmission without interfere the secondary transmission.Specifically, the proposed secure transmission policy is implemented into two phases. In the first phase, the secondary transmitter transmits the secrecy information and jamming signal through the power split method. After harvesting energy from a fraction of received radio-frequency signals, one secondary relay adopts the amplify-and-forward relay protocol to assist the secondary secure transmission and the other secondary relay just forwards the new designed jamming signal to protect the secondary privacy information and degrade the jamming interference at the secondary receiver. For the proposed scheme,we first analyze the average secrecy rate, the secondary secrecy outage probability, and the ergodic secrecy rate, and derive their closed-form expressions.Following the above results,we optimally allocate the transmission power such that the secrecy rate is maximized under the secrecy outage probability constraint. For the optimization problem,an AI based simulated annealing algorithm is proposed to allocate the transmit power.Numerical results are presented to validate the performance analytical results and show the performance superiority of the proposed scheme in terms of the average secrecy rate. | Dawei Wang Wei Liang Xiaoyu Hu Daosen Zhai Di Zhang | 2020 | China Communications2020,17,2: | 1

Clinical practice guideline for body composition assessment based on upper abdominal magnetic resonance images annotated using artificial intelligence显示文摘Introduction Upper abdominal magnetic resonance(MR)imaging is appropriate for body composition analysis.111 Especially for individuals with obesity,it is of great value to quantify the hepatic proton density fat fraction(PDFF)and the amount of abdominal adipose tissue during clinical evaluation and for research on obesity-related risks.Analytical results may be used to determine the optimal choice of surgical procedure and evaluate treatment outcomes.Multiple artificial intelligence(Al)algorithms and systems have been developed for the automated measurement of body composition. The basis of Al development and application is to have uniform standards for clinical data acquisition and management. The uneven quality ofMR images is one ofthe major obstacles to Al system development and analytical results.A standardized process of MR scanning and clinical data management is urgently needed. | Han Lv Mengyi Li Zhenchang Wang Dawei Yang Hui Xu Juan Li Yang Liu Di Cao Yawen Liu Xinru Wu He Jin Peng Zhang Liqin Zhao Rixing Bai Yunlong Yue Bin Li Nengwei Zhang Mingzhu Zou Jinghai Song Weibin Yu Pin Zhang Weijun Tang Qiyuan Yao Liheng Liu Hui Yang Zhenghan Yang Zhongtao Zhang National Clinical Research Center for Digestive Diseases in Beijing Friendship Hospital,Capital Medical University Beijing Quality Control and Improvement Center of Medical Imaging National Health Commission Capacity Building and Continuing Education Center,Chinese College of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgeons Beijing Quality Control and Improvement Center of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery | 2022 | Chinese Medical Journal2022,,6: | 1
BiFeO_(3)-BaTiO_(3):A new generation of lead-free electroceramics显示文摘Lead-based electroceramics such as Pb(Zr.Ti)O_(3)(PZT)and its derivatives have excellent piezoelectric, pyroelectric and energy storage properties and can be used in a wide range of applications.Potential lead-free replacements for PZT such as potassium sodium niobate(KNN)and sodium bismuth titanate(NBT)have a much more limited range of useful properties and have been optimized primarily for piezoelectric applications. Here,we review the initial results on a new generation of lead-free electroceramics based on BiFeO_(3)-BaTiO_(3)(BF-BT)highlighting the essential crystal chemistry that permits a wide range of functional properties. We demonstrate that with the appropriate dopants and heat treatment,BF-BT can be used to fabricate commercially viable ceramics for applications, ranging from sensors, multilayer actuators, capacitors and high-density energy storage devices. We also assess the potential of BF-BT-based ceramics for electrocaloric and pyroelectric applications. | Dawei Wang Ge Wang Shunsuke Murakami Zhongming Fan Antonio Feteira Di Zhou Shikuan Sun Quanliang Zhao Ian M.Reaney | 2018 | Journal of Advanced Dielectrics2018,8,6: | 0
Boosting the Activity and Stability with Dual-Metal-N Couplings for Li–O_(2)Battery显示文摘Electrocatalysts with high efficiency are crucial for improving the storage capacity and electrochemical stability of lithium–oxygen batteries(LOBs).In this work, through a facile hydrothermal method,cobalt–nitrogen-doped carbon nanocubes(Co–N/C),the calcination products of zeolitic imidazolate framework(ZIF–67)are encapsulated by ultrathin C–MoS_(2) nanosheets to obtain Co–N/C@C–MoS_(2) composites which are used as host materials for the oxygen cathode. The synergistic effect between Co–N_(x) active sites and Mo–N coupling centers effectively promotes the formation and decomposition of Li_(2)O_(2) during repeated discharge and charge process. The mesoporous C–MoS_(2) nanosheets with delicately designed morphology facilitate charge transfer and account for improved reaction kinetics and more importantly, suppressed side reactions between the carbon materials and the electrolyte. The oxygen cathode with the Co–N/C@C–MoS_(2)host shows a high initial discharge specific capacity of 21197 mAh g^(-1)and a long operation life of 332 cycles.Theoretical calculation provides in-depth explanation for the reaction mechanism and offers insights for the rational design of electrocatalysts for LOBs. | Shan Wu Di Wu Dawei Zhang Wenhong Liu Hao Luo Jianbo He Qingchun Yang Zhiwei Li Ruiping Liu | 2022 | Energy & Environmental Materials2022,5,3: | 0

Online coherence identification using dynamic time warping for controlled islanding显示文摘Controlled islanding is considered to be the last countermeasure to prevent a system-wide blackout in case of cascading failures. It splits the system into self-sustained islands to maintain transient stability at the expense of possible loss of load.Generator coherence identification is critical to controlled islanding scheme as it helps identify the optimal cut-set to maintain the transient stability of the post-islanding systems. This paper presents a novel approach for online generator coherency identification using phasor measurement unit(PMU) data and dynamic time warping(DTW).Results from the coherence identification are used to further cluster non-generator buses using spectral clustering with the objective of minimizing power flow disruptions. The proposed approach is validated and compared to existing methods on the IEEE39-bus system and WECC 179-bus system, through which its advantages are demonstrated. | Hasan Ul BANNA Zhe YU Di SHI Zhiwei WANG Dawei SU Chunlei XU Sarika Khushalani SOLANKI Jignesh M.SOLANKI | 2019 | Journal of Modern Power Systems and Clean Energy2019,7,1: | 0
On the accurate characterization of quantum-dot light-emitting diodes for display applications显示文摘Quantum dot light-emitting diodes(QLEDs)are a class of high-performance solution-processed electroluminescent(EL)devices highly attractive for next-generation display applications.Despite the encouraging advances in the mechanism investigation, material chemistry, and device engineering of QLEDs,the lack of standard protocols for the characterization of QLEDs may cause inaccurate measurements of device parameters and invalid comparison of different devices. Here,we report a comprehensive study on the characterizations of QLEDs using various methods. We show that the emission non-uniformity across the active area, nonLambertian angular distributions of EL intensity, and discrepancies in the adopted spectral luminous efficiency functions could introduce significant errors in the device efficiency.Larger errors in the operational-lifetime measurements may arise from the inaccurate determination of the initial luminance and inconsistent methods for analyzing the luminance-decay curves. Finally,we suggest a set of recommended practices and a checklist for device characterizations, aiming to help the researchers in the QLED field to achieve accurate and reliable measurements. | Wangxiao Jin Yunzhou Deng Bingbing Guo Yaxiao Lian Baodan Zhao Dawei Di Xiaowei Sun Kai Wang Shuming Chen Yixing Yang Weiran Cao Song Chen Wenyu Ji Xuyong Yang Yuan Gao Shuangpeng Wang Huaibin Shen Jialong Zhao Lei Qian Fushan Li Yizheng Jin | 2022 | npj Flexible Electronics2022,6,1: | 0
OTFS-Based Efficient Handover Authentication Scheme with Privacy-Preserving for High Mobility Scenarios显示文摘Handover authentication in high mobility scenarios is characterized by frequent and shortterm parallel execution. Moreover, the penetration loss and Doppler frequency shift caused by high speed also lead to the deterioration of network link quality. Therefore, high mobility scenarios require handover schemes with less handover overhead. However, some existing schemes that meet this requirement cannot provide strong security guarantees, while some schemes that can provide strong security guarantees have large handover overheads. To solve this dilemma,we propose a privacy-preserving handover authentication scheme that can provide strong security guarantees with less computational cost.Based on Orthogonal Time Frequency Space(OTFS)link and Key Encapsulation Mechanism(KEM),we establish the shared key between protocol entities in the initial authentication phase, thereby reducing the overhead in the handover phase. Our proposed scheme can achieve mutual authentication and key agreement among the user equipment, relay node, and authentication server. We demonstrate that our proposed scheme can achieve user anonymity, unlinkability, perfect forward secrecy, and resistance to various attacks through security analysis including the Tamarin. The performance evaluation results show that our scheme has a small computational cost compared with other schemes and can also provide a strong guarantee of security properties. | Dawei Li Di Liu Yu Sun Jianwei Liu | 2023 | China Communications2023,20,1: | 0
