| 1 | On generation source sites of internal waves in the Luzon Strait显示文摘This effort aims to determine the generation source sites in the Luzon Strait for energetic,long-crest,transbasin internal waves(IW)observed in the northern South China Sea(NSCS).The roles of islands distributed on eastern side of the strait,Kuroshio,submarine ridges,shoaling thermocline,and strait configuration played in the IW generation are examined using the cruise data analysis,satellite data interpretation,and dynamical analysis.The islands and channels on eastern side of the strait are excluded from a list of possible IW source sites owing to their unmatched horizontal dimensions to the scale of IW crest line length,and the relative low Reynolds number.The Kuroshio has a potential to be a radiator for the long-crest IW disturbances,meanwhile,the Kuroshio west(east)wing absorbs the eastward(westward)propagating IW disturbance.Namely,the Kuroshio blockades the outside west-east propagating IW disturbances.The 3-D configuration of the Luzon Strait is characterized by a sudden,more than one order widening of the cross-section areas at the outlets on both sides,providing a favorable condition for IW type initial disturbance formation.In the Luzon Strait,the thermocline is featured by a westward shoaling all the year around,providing the dynamical conditions for the amplitude growth(declination)to the westward(eastward)propagating IW type disturbance.Thus,the west slope of western submarine ridge at the western outlet of the Luzon Strait is a high possibility source sites for energetic,long-crest,transbasin IWs in the NSCS.The interpretation results of satellite SAR images during a 13 a period from 1995 to 2007 provide the convincing evidence for the conclusions. | ZHENG Quanan SONG Y Tony LIN Hui HU Xiaomin MENG Junmin WANG Dan | 2008 | Acta Oceanologica Sinica2008，27，3： | 5 |

| 5 | Improvement of Wired Drill Pipe Data Quality via Data Validation and Reconciliation显示文摘Wired drill pipe(WDP)technology is one of the most promising data acquisition technologies in today s oil and gas industry.For the first time it allows sensors to be positioned along the drill string which enables collecting and transmitting valuable data not only from the bottom hole assembly(BHA),but also along the entire length of the wellbore to the drill floor.The technology has received industry acceptance as a viable alternative to the typical logging while drilling(LWD)method.Recently more and more WDP applications can be found in the challenging drilling environments around the world,leading to many innovations to the industry.Nevertheless most of the data acquired from WDP can be noisy and in some circumstances of very poor quality.Diverse factors contribute to the poor data quality.Most common sources include mis-calibrated sensors,sensor drifting,errors during data transmission,or some abnormal conditions in the well,etc.The challenge of improving the data quality has attracted more and more focus from many researchers during the past decade.This paper has proposed a promising solution to address such challenge by making corrections of the raw WDP data and estimating unmeasurable parameters to reveal downhole behaviors.An advanced data processing method,data validation and reconciliation(DVR)has been employed,which makes use of the redundant data from multiple WDP sensors to filter/remove the noise from the measurements and ensures the coherence of all sensors and models.Moreover it has the ability to distinguish the accurate measurements from the inaccurate ones.In addition,the data with improved quality can be used for estimating some crucial parameters in the drilling process which are unmeasurable in the first place,hence provide better model calibrations for integrated well planning and realtime operations. | Dan Sui Olha Sukhoboka Bernt Sigve Aadn?y | 2018 | International Journal of Automation and computing2018，15，5： | 2 |
