| 1 | Preparation of nano-compounded polyolefin materials through in situ polymerization technique:status quo and future prospects显示文摘Nano-compounding of polyolefins,an economical yet very effective route to high-performance poly-olefin materials,has received considerable attention in recent years. Unlike most of the other polymers,polyolefins are chemically inert,which dictates that nano-compounding of polyolefins has to be con-ducted via in situ polymerization. In this review,a technological progress of the nano-compounding of polyolefins via in situ polymerization technique was summarized thoroughly,with emphasis laid on the current research status of polyolefin/montmorillonite (MMT) nanocomposites. | 3 | Effectiveness and safety of Ginkgo biloba extract(GBE50)in the treatment of dizziness caused by cerebral arteriosclerosis:a multi-center,double-blind,randomized controlled trial显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the effectiveness and safety of Ginkgo biloba extract(GBE50)in the treatment of dizziness caused by cerebral arteriosclerosis.METHODS:This was a multi-center,double-blind,double-dummy,positive-controlled,parallel randomized controlled clinical trial with 1∶1 allocation.We recruited 404 patients with dizziness caused by cerebral arteriosclerosis(blood stasis symptom pattern)in 10 hospitals in China.GBE50 group received GBE50 and Naoxinqing tablet(NXQ)of mimetic agent,control group received NXQ and GBE50 of mimetic agent.The main outcome was Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)symptom pattern score of blood stasis after 6 weeks.The secondary outcomes were changes in the dizziness handicap inventory(DHI)score,vertigo visual analogue scale(VAS)score,the university of California vertigo questionnaire(UCLA-DQ)score and single-item symptom score of TCM from baseline to 2,4 and 6 weeks.Safety indicators included the incidence of adverse events,severe adverse events and laboratory examination including blood routine,liver function,renal function,and so forth.RESULTS:The total effective rate of TCM symptom pattern score in the GBE50 group after 6 weeks of treatment was higher than that in the control group,the difference in rate was statistically significant(92.67%vs 83.07%,P=0.004).Compared with the control group,there was no difference in the incidence of adverse reactions(9.95%vs 14.85%,P=0.136).CONCLUSION:The treatment of dizziness caused by cerebral arteriosclerosis with GBE50 is effective,safe and reliable. | SHA Rina TANG Lu DU Yawei WU Shengxian SHI Huawei ZOU Hongxin ZHANG Xuran DONG Xinglu ZHOU Li | 2022 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2022,42,1: | 5 |

| 8 | Recent key developments in isotactic polypropylene in-reactor alloy and in-reactor nanocomposite technology显示文摘Alloying and nanocompositing are two most effective techniques by which isotactic polypropylene(iPP), one of the most promising polymers of the 21 st century, can be endowed with high performance for ever-demanding high-end applications. Thanks to the continuous advancement of catalyst technology, the technological trend for iPP alloy and nanocomposite fabrication has been projected to be in-reactor synthesis, the performance and economic advantages of which are beyond doubt. In this paper, we review two recent key developments in the iPP in-reactor alloy and in-reactor nanocomposite technology in our laboratory that will have profound influence on the continuing development of the prestigious iPP modification art. The first is the simultaneous EPR(ethylene-propylene random copolymer) cross-linking chemistry for controlling its physical growth pattern during in-reactor alloying, which helps to remove the compositional cap on EPR that so far greatly limits the iPP in-reactor alloying technique. The second is the nanofiller support fabrication strategy for simultaneously controlling both the phase morphology of the nanofiller dispersion and the polymer particle granule morphology of synthesized nanocomposites, which resolves the critical scale-up issue surrounding the iPP in-reactor nanocompositing technique. | 11 | Highly reliable and efficient encoding systems for hexadecimal polypeptide-based data storage显示文摘Polypeptides consisting of amino acid(AA)sequences are suitable for high-density information storage.However,the lack of suitable encoding systems,which accommodate the characteristics of polypeptide synthesis,storage and sequencing,impedes the application of polypeptides for large-scale digital data storage.To address this,two reliable and highly efficient encoding systems,i.e.RaptorQ-Arithmetic-Base64-Shuffle-RS(RABSR)and RaptorQArithmetic-Huffman-Rotary-Shuffle-RS(RAHRSR)systems,are developed for polypeptide data storage.The two encoding systems realized the advantages of compressing data,correcting errors of AA chain loss,correcting errors within AA chains,eliminating homopolymers,and pseudo-randomized encrypting.The coding efficiency without arithmetic compression and error correction of audios,pictures and texts by the RABSR system was 3.20,3.12 and 3.53 Bits/AA,respectively.While that using the RAHRSR system reached 4.89,4.80 and 6.84 Bits/AA,respectively.When implemented with redundancy for error correction and arithmetic compression to reduce redundancy,the coding efficiency of audios,pictures and texts by the RABSR system was 4.43,4.36 and 5.22 Bits/AA,respectively.This efficiency further increased to 7.24,7.11 and 9.82 Bits/AA by the RAHRSR system,respectively.Therefore,the developed hexadecimal polypeptide-based systems may provide a new scenario for highly reliable and highly efficient data storage. | Yubin Ren Yi Zhang Yawei Liu Qinglin Wu Hong-Gang Hu Jingjing Li Chunhai Fan Dong Chen Kai Liu Hongjie Zhang | 2023 | Fundamental Research2023,3,2: | 0 |

The prescribed metals included 316L stainless steel, pure copper, pure aluminum, and ordinary 20# carbon steel. The effects of applied mean stress, stress amplitude and stress ratio on the uniaxial ratcheting were also investigated. The observations show that different crystal structures or values of fault energy result in more or less di?erent ratcheting behaviors for the prescribed metals. As concerns surface chemistry,Attenuated Total Reflection Flourier Transformed Infrared Spectroscopy(ATR FT-IR) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS) confirm that NCO associated with HDMS silylated PPTA pulp surface successfully. While the modified PPTA pulps are used as reinforcing fillers for silicone composites,the dispersibility and storage stability of the composites are improved as Mooney testing indicated. | 15 | Design and performance analysis of indoor calibration device for the forcemeasuring system of the tractor three-point hitch显示文摘The real-time monitoring of the load in farming by the sensor installed on the tractor's three-point hitch can effectively improve the farming efficiency and force-position combined control,reduce the compaction risk of the wheel on the soil and reduce the fuel consumption in farming process.However,the measurement and quantification of the loads on the three-point hitch have some problems remaining unresolved:testing the accuracy and reliability of a load measuring system is hard when the tractor works in a field,the mathematical model of spatial forces usually lacks a practical and effective validation,and the calibration process of the measurement system is inconvenient and incomplete while easily causing a low accuracy.Specifically,this paper builds a new spatial-force mathematical model based on the geometry of a three-point hitch.To eliminate the discrepancy of the geometric model with the actual structure and to refine the mathematical model,a calibration process is conducted by developing a calibration bench,which is equipped with a data acquisition system and a multi-parameter monitoring interface.The three-point hitch installed on this calibration bench is subject to steady-state loading.The loading force,angle of the lower drawbar,and three-component forces(three shaft pin sensors’forces)of the three-point hitch are well measured.With applying for the measured data to calibrate the theoretical mathematic model eventually derives the resultant force from all the three-component forces,a dynamical loading bench was developed to test the calculated resultant force for the three-point hitch during the sinusoidal and randomly variant dynamical loadings tests.A hitch force measurement system is also developed to collect real-time data and calculate the resultant force of measured three-component forces through the calibrated mathematical model.The results of the dynamical loading tests show that the average relative error MRE=1.09%with an average force measurement time delay beingΔt=0.5 s,the root mean square error RMSE=59.3 N,and the coefficient of determination R2=0.9903.As observed,the shape and the trend of the generated resultant force curve are basically the dynamical loading force.The dynamical loading test proves the high efficacy and reliability of the proposed indoor calibration method for calculating the load based on the three-component forces as measured on the three-point hitch.Besides,the preliminary study of the proposed method on the hitch load provides great potential to improve the indoor six-component measurement and quantification of both the force and momentum acting on the three-point hitch. | Dong Dai Du Chen Xu Mao Yawei Zhang Yutong Li Shumao Wang Bin Zhang | 2023 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2023,16,3: | 0 |

| 18 | Soil Moisture Rather than Soil Nutrient Regulates the Belowground Bud Bank of Rhizomatous Species Psammochloa villosa in Arid Sand Dunes显示文摘In arid and semi-arid sand dune ecosystems,belowground bud bank plays an important role in population regeneration and vegetation restoration.However,the responses of belowground bud bank size and composition to sand burial and its induced changes in soil environmental factors have been rarely studied.In arid sand dunes of Northwestern China,we investigated belowground bud bank size and composition of the typical rhizomatous psammophyte Psammochloa villosa as well as three key soil environmental factors(soil moisture,total carbon and total nitrogen)under different depths of sand burial.Total buds and rhizome buds increased significantly with increasing burial depth,whereas tiller buds first increased and then decreased,with a peak value at the depth of 20-30 cm.Soil moisture increased significantly with sand burial depth,and was positively correlated with the number of all buds and rhizome buds.Soil total carbon concentration first increased and then decreased with sand burial depth,and total nitrogen concentration was significantly lower under deep sand burial than those at shallow depths,and only the number of tiller buds was positively correlated with soil total nitrogen concentration.These results indicate that soil moisture rather than soil nutrient might regulate the belowground bud bank of P.villosa,and that clonal psammophytes could regulate their belowground bud bank in response to sand burial and the most important environmental stress(i.e.,soil moisture).These responses,as the key adaptive strategy,may ensure clonal plant population regeneration and vegetation restoration in arid sand dunes. | Yawei Dong Ziyue Guo Qun Ma Zhiming Xin Jin Tao Jiatai Tian Jinlei Zhu Zhiming Zhang Jianqiang Qian | 2023 | Phyton-International Journal of Experimental Botany2023,92,5: | 0 |
