| 1 | Preparation of nano-compounded polyolefin materials through in situ polymerization technique:status quo and future prospects显示文摘Nano-compounding of polyolefins,an economical yet very effective route to high-performance poly-olefin materials,has received considerable attention in recent years. Unlike most of the other polymers,polyolefins are chemically inert,which dictates that nano-compounding of polyolefins has to be con-ducted via in situ polymerization. In this review,a technological progress of the nano-compounding of polyolefins via in situ polymerization technique was summarized thoroughly,with emphasis laid on the current research status of polyolefin/montmorillonite (MMT) nanocomposites. | 2 | DEM SIMULATION OF LIQUEFACTION FOR GRANULAR MEDIA UNDER UNDRAINED AXISYMMETRIC COMPRESSION AND PLANE STRAIN CONDITIONS显示文摘Based on three dimensional (3D) Discrete Element Method (DEM), the paper presents simulation results of undrained tests on loose assemblies of polydisperse spheres under axisymmetric compression and plane strain conditions using a periodic cell. In the present work, undrained tests were modelled by deforming the samples under constant volume conditions. The undrained (effective) stress paths are shown to be qualitatively similar to experimental results in literature. A microscopic parameter in terms of redundancy factor (RF) is used to identify the onset of liquefaction (or temporary liquefaction), with the condition of RF equal to unity defining the transition from 'solid-like' to 'liquid-like' behaviour. It is found that the undrained behaviour is governed by the evolution of redundancy factor under both undrained axisymmetric compression and plane strain conditions, and a reversal of deviatoric stress in stress path for medium loose systems occurs due to the fact that the system becomes a structural mechanism (RF<1) transiently at the microscopic level during the evolution. | Guobin Gong Peng Lin Yawei Qin Jun Wei | 2012 | Acta Mechanica Solida Sinica2012,25,6: | 2 |
| 3 | Glucagon-like peptide-1 attenuates cardiac hypertrophy via the AngII/AT1R/ACE2 and AMPK/mTOR/p70S6K pathways显示文摘Glucagon-like peptide-1(GLP-1),a novel type of glucose-lowering agent,has been reported to exert cardioprotective effects.However,the cardioprotective mechanism of GLP-1 on spontaneous hypertension-induced cardiac hypertrophy has not been fully elucidated.In this study,we revealed that liraglutide or alogliptin treatment ameliorated spontaneous hypertension-induced cardiac hypertrophy,as evidenced by decreased levels of cardiac hypertrophic markers(atrial natriuretic peptide,brain natriuretic peptide,andβ-myosin heavy chain),as well as systolic blood pressure,diastolic blood pressure,mean arterial pressure,and histological changes.Both drugs significantly reduced the levels of angiotensin II(AngII)and AngII type 1 receptor(AT1R)and upregulated the levels of AngII type 2 receptor(AT2R)and angiotensin-converting enzyme 2(ACE2),as indicated by a reduced AT1R/AT2R ratio.Simultaneously,treatment with liraglutide or alogliptin significantly increased GLP-1 receptor expression and adenosine monophosphate-activated protein kinase(AMPK)phosphorylation and downregulated the phosphorylation of mammalian target of rapamycin(mTOR),p70 ribosomal S6 protein kinase,and eukaryotic translation initiation factor 4E binding protein 1 in spontaneous hypertension rats.Furthermore,our data demonstrated that the AMPK inhibitor compound C or mTOR activator MHY1485 inhibited the anti-hypertrophic effect of GLP-1.In summary,our study suggests that liraglutide or alogliptin protects the heart against cardiac hypertrophy by regulating the expression of AngII/AT1R/ACE2 and activating the AMPK/mTOR pathway,and GLP-1 agonist can be used in the treatment of patients with cardiac hypertrophy. | Jing Wang Shaohua Fan Qianfeng Xiong Yu Niu Xin Zhang Junnan Qin Yawei Shi Lihui Zhang | 2021 | Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2021,53,9: | 1 |

| 6 | Recent key developments in isotactic polypropylene in-reactor alloy and in-reactor nanocomposite technology显示文摘Alloying and nanocompositing are two most effective techniques by which isotactic polypropylene(iPP), one of the most promising polymers of the 21 st century, can be endowed with high performance for ever-demanding high-end applications. Thanks to the continuous advancement of catalyst technology, the technological trend for iPP alloy and nanocomposite fabrication has been projected to be in-reactor synthesis, the performance and economic advantages of which are beyond doubt. In this paper, we review two recent key developments in the iPP in-reactor alloy and in-reactor nanocomposite technology in our laboratory that will have profound influence on the continuing development of the prestigious iPP modification art. The first is the simultaneous EPR(ethylene-propylene random copolymer) cross-linking chemistry for controlling its physical growth pattern during in-reactor alloying, which helps to remove the compositional cap on EPR that so far greatly limits the iPP in-reactor alloying technique. The second is the nanofiller support fabrication strategy for simultaneously controlling both the phase morphology of the nanofiller dispersion and the polymer particle granule morphology of synthesized nanocomposites, which resolves the critical scale-up issue surrounding the iPP in-reactor nanocompositing technique. | 13 | Preparation of MgO-Mg_2TiO_4 Composite and Its Corrosion Resistance to Electrolyte显示文摘MgO- Mg2TiO4 composite was prepared by adding chemically pure TiO2(0,1%,2%,5% and 10%,in mass,the same hereinafter) to light-burned magnesia(particle size <0.045 mm),ball milling,dry pressing,and reaction sintering at 1 400,1 500 and 1 600 ℃ fo3 h,respectively. Apparent porosity,bulk density and corrosion resistance to AlF3- Na3AlF6- K3AlF6 were in vestigated. Phase composition and microstructure wer analyzed. The results show that:(1) MgO- Mg2TiO4 composite can be synthesized by reaction sintering; with TiO2 addition increasing from 0 to 5%,the specimen i denser obviously accompanying with more Mg2TiO4 form ing and MgO grains growing; the specimen with 10%TiO2obtains a slightly lower density than that with 5%TiO2due to larger volume expansion resulting from th formation of more Mg2TiO4;(2)with TiO2 addition in creasing from 0 to 5%,corrosion resistance to AlF3-Na3AlF6- K3AlF6 of the specimens improves gradually owing to the density increase and the Mg2TiO4 possessing good chemical stability distributing along periclas grains; compared with the specimen with 5% TiO2,tha with 10% TiO2 owns a little worse corrosion resistanc because of the lower density. | XU Yibiao LI Yawei SANG Shaobai QIN Qingwei YANG Jianhong | 2014 | China's Refractories2014,23,3: | 0 |
| 14 | Effect of Ti(C,N) on Properties of Low-carbon MgO-C Bricks显示文摘The effect of Ti(C,N) on properties of low-carbon MgO-C bricks was investigated.The phase composition and the microstructure of the matrix of low-carbon MgO-C brick containing Ti(C,N) were studied by XRD and SEM analysis together with EDS.The results showed that Ti(C,N) distributed in the matrix of low-carbon MgO-C brick uniformly after being treated at 1 600 ℃ for 3 h in coke powder bed,and Ti(C,N) and MgO formed a solid solution.After the treatment at 1 600 ℃ for 3 h in coke powder bed,the bulk density and cold crushing strength of low-carbon MgO-C brick with Ti(C,N) decreased,and the apparent porosity and linear change rate of specimens increased.The oxidation resistance of low-carbon MgO-C brick with Ti(C,N) was superior to that of low-carbon MgO-C brick with no additives,but inferior to that of low-carbon MgO-C brick with Al powder.The slag resistance of the specimen with Ti(C,N) was excellent as well. | QIN Xianpeng LI Yuanbing YANG Zhenghong LI Yawei | 2008 | China's Refractories2008,17,2: | 0 |
