1Ethylene tetramerization with a highly active and long-lifetime trinuclear diphenylphosphinoamine/Cr(III)/MAO catalyst显示文摘The synthesis and characterization of a novel trinuclear diphosphinoamine ligand 2 are reported. The ligand combined with Cr(III), activated with methylaluminoxane, lead to highly active and long-lifetime catalytic systems for the tetramerization of ethylene to form 1-octene. The effects of reaction temperature, reaction pressure, molar ratio of Al/Cr and bis(diphenylphosphino)amine/Cr on the catalytic activity and product selectivity were studied. Compared with its mononuclear analogue 1, ligand 2 showed a higher catalytic activity and longer lifetime for ethylene tetramerization in the presence of methylaluminoxane as cocatalyst. 2A two-step lineage reprogramming strategy to generate functionally competent human hepatocytes from fibroblasts显示文摘Terminally differentiated cells can be generated by lineage reprogramming,which is,however,hindered by incomplete conversion with residual initial cell identity and partial functionality. Here, we demonstrate a new reprogramming strategy by mimicking the natural regeneration route, which permits generating expandable hepatic progenitor cells and functionally competent human hepatocytes. Fibroblasts were first induced into human hepatic progenitor-like cells (hHPLCs), which could robustly expand in vitro and efficiently engraft in vivo. Moreover, hHPLCs could be efficiently induced into mature human hepatocytes (hiHeps) in vitro, whose molecular identity highly resembles primary human hepatocytes (PHHs). Most importantly, hiHeps could be generated in large quantity and were functionally competent to replace PHHs for drug-metabolism estimation, toxicity prediction and hepatitis B virus infection modeling. Our results highlight the advantages of the progenitor stage for successful lineage reprogramming. 4A Preliminary Study on Dynamics and Models of N,P,K Absorption for High-Yield Cotton显示文摘The field experiments were carried out to investigate the dynamics and models of N, P and K ab-sorption for the cotton plants with a lint of 3 000 kg ha-1 in Xinjiang. The main results were as follows: Thecontents of N, P2O5, K2O in cotton leaves, stems, squares and bolls decreased obviously with the time over thewhole growth duration and the falling extent was greater in high-yield cotton than in CK. Contents of N inleaves, squares and bolls, in particular in the leaves of fruit-bearing shoot was higher in high-yield cotton thanin CK. Contents of P2O5 in squares and bolls and that of K2O in stems were higher in high-yield cotton than inCK during the whole growing period. The accumulations of N, P2O5 and K2O in the cotton plants could be de-scribed with a logistic curve equation. There was the fastest nutrient uptake at about 90 d for N, 92 d for P2O5and 85 d for K2O after emergence, respectively. Total nutrient accumulation of N, P2 O5 and K2O was 385.8,244.7 and 340.3 kg ha-1 , respectively. 5Growth Characteristics and Kinetics of Niobium Carbide Coating Obtained on AISI 52100 by Thermal-reactive Diffusion Technique显示文摘Niobium carbide coating was produced by thermal-reactive diffusion technique on AISI 52100 steel in salt bath at 1 123 K, 1 173 K, and 1 223 K for 1, 2, 4, and 6 hours. The salt consisted of borax, sodium fl uoride, boron carbide, and niobium pentoxide. The presence of NbC phase on the steel surface was confi rmed by X-ray diffraction analysis. Microscopic observation showed that niobium carbide coating formed on the substrate was smooth and compact. There was a distinct and fl at interface between the coating and substrate. The micro-hardness of niobium carbide coating was 2892±145HV. The thickness of coating ranged from 1.6 μm to 14μm. The forming kinetics of niobium carbide coating was revealed. Moreover, a contour diagram derived from experimental data was graphed for correct selection of process parameters. Some mathematical equations were built for predicting the coating thickness with predetermined processing temperature and time. 7Decorative near-infrared transmission filters featuring high-efficiency and angular-insensitivity employing ID photonic crystals显示文摘We present a new scheme for visibly-opaque but near-infrared-transmitting filters involving 7 layers based on one-dimensional ternary photonic crystals, with capabilities in reaching nearly 100% transmission efficiency in the near-infrared region. Different decorative reflection colors can be created by adding additional three layers while maintaining the near-infrared transmission performance. In addition, our proposed structural colors show great angular insensitivity up to ±60° for both transverse electric and transverse magnetic polarizations, which are highly desired in various fields. 8High-sensitivity, high-spatial-resolution distributed strain sensing based on a poly(methyl methacrylate) chirped fiber Bragg grating显示文摘In this study,a high-sensitivity,high-spatial-resolution distributed strain-sensing approach based on a poly(methyl methacrylate)chirped fiber Bragg grating(CFBG)is proposed and experimentally demonstrated.Linearly chirped FBGs in a polymer optical fiber provide an alternative to the silica fiber owing to the lower Young’s modulus,which can yield a higher stress sensitivity under the same external force.According to the spatial wavelength-encoded characteristic of the CFBG,a fully distributed strain measurement can be achieved by optical frequency-domain reflectometry.Through time-/space-resolved short-time Fourier transform,the applied force can be located by the beat frequency originated from the space-induced time delay and measured by the differential frequency offset originated from the strain-induced dispersion time delay.In a proof-of-concept experiment,a high spatial resolution of 1 mm over a gauge length of 40 mm and a strain resolution of 0.491 Hz/μεwere achieved.Chengang Lyu Ziqi Liu Ziqiang Huo Chunfeng Ge Xin Cheng Haw-Yaw Tam 2020Photonics Research2020,8,7:2

10Structure and Luminescence Characteristics of Europium Activated Strontium Silicates Sr(Eu,Bi)SiO_3 and Sr(Eu,Bi)_2SiO_4显示文摘Sr2SiO4∶Eu 3+ ,Bi 3+ and SrSiO 3∶Eu 3+ ,Bi 3+ samples were synthesized at high temperature and high pressure. The effect of high pressure on the structure and luminescence properties of the samples were studied. As a comparison, the samples were also prepared by the method of sol-gel at high temperature and atmospheric pressure. The SrSiO 3∶Eu 3+ ,Bi 3+ prepared at atmosphere has a hexagonal phase structure; in the pressure range of 2 34-4 10 GPa, it is transformed into a pseudo-orthorhombic structure(monoclinic), and in the pressure range of 4 10-4 15 GPa, the structure change of Sr 2SiO 4∶Eu 3+ , Bi 3+ has not been observed, it maintains the monoclinic structure of the samples synthesized at an atmospheric pressure. High pressure makes the luminescence properties of the samples changed obviously. The intensity and the relative quantum luminescent efficiency decrease, the half-width increases obviously and the red shift occurs. 12Bacterial diversity in the sediments collected from the Shikoku Basin显示文摘Diversity of bacteria was studied in deep-sea sediments from the Shikoku Basin in the Northwest Pacific Ocean by PCR, RFLP and sequence analysis of 16S rDNA and comparing with Genbank database. Based on the RFLP profile generated, 77 clones from the 16S rDNA library were divided into 27 types. Phylogenetic analysis showed that the 27 independent clones fell into four groups: Proteobac-teria (62.96%), Chloroflexi (14.81%), Planctomycetes (14.81%) and Acidobacteria (7.41%). 13Electrochemical oxygen evolution reaction efficiently boosted by selective fluoridation of FeNi3 alloy/oxide hybrid显示文摘Performance boosting of hybrid metal oxide and metal alloy catalyst is crucial to the water electrolysis for hydrogen generation. Herein, a novel concept of selective fluoridation of metal alloy/oxide hybrid is proposed to boost their catalytic performance for the oxygen evolution reaction(OER). A well-recognized OER catalyst system of FeNi3 alloy/oxide embedded in nitrogen-doped porous nanofibers(FeNiO/NCF) is employed as a proof of concept, and it is selectively fluoridated by transforming the metal oxide to metal fluoride(FeNiF/NCF). The crystal structure and surface chemical state transformation are well supported by the spectroscopic analysis and the improved electrochemical performance for OER can be well correlated to the phase and structure change. Specifically, FeNiF/NCF can drive the benchmark current density of 10 mA cm-2 at 260 mV with a Tafel slope of 67 mV dec-1, about 70 mV less than that of FeNiO/NCF.Increased catalytic kinetics, rapid charge transfer ability, high catalytic efficiency and stability are also probed by electrochemical analysis. The high surface area and roughness are found mainly generated via the high-temperature annealing for the metal alloy/metal oxide formation, and the low-temperature fluoridation process intrinsically contributes to the active structure formation.
