1Geochemistry, geochronology, and petro-genesis of the early Paleozoic granitic plutons in the central-southern Jiangxi Province,China显示文摘This paper reports the systematic study on petrology, geochemistry, LA ICPMS zircons U-Pb dating, and in situ Hf isotope geology of the four plutons in the central-southern Jiangxi Province, an important part of the South China Block. In the outcrops, rocks are gradually changed from wall rock (slate or schist) to pluton (gneissic granite); some residual blocks of sandy rock occur in the margin of pluton, and the foliations of residual blocks are parallel to those of both wall rock and gneissic granite. The thin-section observations show that the four plutons contain peraluminous minerals such as muscovite and sillimanite. The flattened and elongated feldspar and quartz grains are often visible in the gneissic granite, parallel to direction of lineation, suggesting that the granitic rock were subjected to a strong ductile shearing. Geochemically, the A/CNK values from 13 granitic samples are between 1.03 and 1.37 with an average of 1.16, indicating that the granites are of strongly peraluminous plutons. The REE compositions of the 13 samples are similar, showing higher REE contents, with enrichment in LREEs, depletion in Eu and REE patterns with relative LREE-enrichment and negligible Eu anomalies. They show enrichment in Rb, Th, U and depletion in Ba, Sr, Nb, Ti, belonging to a low Ba-Sr type of granite. Thus, the four bodies should be derived from the same magmatic source. Zircons used as U-Pb dating mostly exhibit euhedral shape and high Th/U values from 0.52 to 1.54 with an average of 1.08, suggesting that most zircons are of magmatic genesis. The zircons from four plutons yielded rather similar 206 Pb/ 238 U vs. 207 Pb/ 235 U concordia ages: 436.1±5.7 Ma for the Tangwan granite, 440.6±4 Ma for the Jiekou gneissic granite, 435.9±6.2 Ma for the Dongbao gneissic granite, and 441.9±3.1 Ma for the Jinxi K-granite, respectively, corresponding to Silurian Llandovery. Several xenocrysts yielded U-Pb ages around 700 Ma, implying that a breakup event took place during Neoproterozoic in the South China Block. In situ Lu-Hf isotopic analysis shows that all Hf (t) values of zircons are negative and have two-stage Hf model ages (TDM2) from 1.4 to 3.6 Ga, indicating that the Silurian granitic magma came from the recycle of Meso-Paleoproterozoic basement and even partly Archean rocks, and had not been effected by mantle magma. Researches on regional geology suggest that an intracontinental tectono-magmatic event took place during the early Paleozoic in the study areas, which is characterized by folding and thrusting, leading to crustal shortening and thickening, up to 20 km thickness. The high geothermal temperature from thickening crust and accumulation of producing high-heat radioactive elements gradually softened crustal rocks and caused a partial melting, forming peraluminous granitic magma. 3Melatonin enhances radiofrequency-induced NK antitumor immunity,causing cancer metabolism reprogramming and inhibition of multiple pulmonary tumor development显示文摘Surgery is the comm on treatme nt for early lung cancer with multiple pulm onary no dules,but it is often accompanied by the problem of significant malignancy of other nodules in non-therapeutic areas.In this study,we found that a combined treatment of local rad iofreq ue ncy ablati on(RFA)and melatonin(MLT)greatly improved clinical outcomes for early lung cancer patie nts with multiple pulmonary nodules by minimizing lung function injury and reducing the probability of malignant transformation or enlargement of nodules in non-ablated areas.Mechanically,as demonstrated in an associated mouse lung tumor model,RFA not only effectively remove treated tumors but also stimulate antitumor immunity,which could inhibit tumor growth in non-ablated areas.MLT enhanced RFA-stimulated NK activity and exerted synergistic antitumor effects with RFA.Transcriptomics and proteomics analyses of residual tumor tissues revealed enhanced oxidative phosphorylation and reduced acidification as well as hypoxia in the tumor microenvironment,which suggests reprogrammed tumor metabolism after combined treatment with RFA and MLT.Analysis of residual tumor further revealed the depressed activity of MAPK,NF-kappa B,Wnt,and Hedgehog pathways and upregulated P53 pathway in tumors,which was in line with the inhibited tumor growth.Combined RFA and MLT treatment also reversed the Warburg effect and decreased tumor malignancy.These findings thus demonstrated that combined treatment of RFA and MLT effectively inhibited the malignancy of non-ablated nodules and provided an innovative non-invasive strategy for treating early lung tumors with multiple pulmonary nodules.Trial registration:www.chictr.org.cn,identifier ChiCTR2100042695,http://gffzz62a03ee25e6f4a77hf9ppfock9b5p6wx5.ffgz.tsg.suse.edu.cn/showproj.aspx?proj=120931.Ming Li Bingjie Hao Menghuan Zhang Russel J.Reiter Shumeng Lin Tiansheng Zheng Xiangyun Chen Yanbei Ren Liduo Yue Baigenzhin Abay Guojie Chen Xiao Xu Yufeng Shi Lihong Fan 2021Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2021,6,10:6
4Chemical speciation code CHEMSPEC and its applications显示文摘The adsorption and migration behavior of a radionuclide in geological media heavily depends on its chemical forms in a given chemical environment.In order to predict the temporal and spatial distribution of radionuclides around a disposal site when its canister is damaged,it is necessary to develop coupled chemical speciation-solute transport models and relevant software.For that reason,we wrote a new chemical speciation program CHEMSPEC.In this paper,the principles and structure of CHEMSPEC are briefly described,and the strategy and algorithms that were used in this code are interpreted in some detail,such as the measures adopted to prevent divergence in iteratively solving the mass balance equations,the 'predictor-corrector' algorithm for calculation of the number and quantities of solid species formed,and the alternate use of 'freezing' and 'defreezing' oxidation states in handling of co-existent redox and precipitation equilibria.Four examples are given to illustrate CHEMSPEC's features and capabilities.WANG XiangYun CHEN Tao LIU ChunLi 2009Science China Chemistry2009,52,11:5

6Molecular Clump Extraction Algorithm Based on Local Density Clustering显示文摘The detection and parameterization of molecular clumps are the first step in studying them.We propose a method based on the Local Density Clustering algorithm while physical parameters of those clumps are measured using the Multiple Gaussian Model algorithm.One advantage of applying the Local Density Clustering to the clump detection and segmentation,is the high accuracy under different signal-to-noise levels.The Multiple Gaussian Model is able to deal with overlapping clumps whose parameters can reliably be derived.Using simulation and synthetic data,we have verified that the proposed algorithm could accurately characterize the morphology and flux of molecular clumps.The total flux recovery rate in 13CO(J=1-0)line of M16 is measured as 90.2%.The detection rate and the completeness limit are 81.7%and 20 K km s-1 in 13CO(J=1-0)line of M16,respectively.Xiaoyu Luo Sheng Zheng Yao Huang Shuguang Zeng Xiangyun Zeng Zhibo Jiang Zhiwei Chen 2022Research in Astronomy and Astrophysics2022,22,1:3
7BmCyclin B and BmCyclin B3 are required for cell cycle progression in the silkworm, Bombyx mori显示文摘Cyclin B is an important regulator of the cell cycle G2 to M phase transition. The silkworm genomic database shows that there are two Cyclin B genes in the silkworm (Bombyx mori), BmCyclin B and BmCyclin B3. Using silkworm EST data, the cyclin B3 (EU074796) gene was cloned. Its complete cDNA was 1665 bp with an ORF of 1536 bp derived from seven exons and six introns. The BmCyclin B3 gene encodes 511 amino acids, and the predicted molecular weight is 57.8 kD with an isoelectric point of 9.18. The protein contains one protein damage box and two cyclin boxes. RNA interference-mediated reduction of BmCyclin B and BmCyclin B3 expression induced cell cycle arrest in G2 or M phase in BmN-SWU1 cells, thus inhibiting cell proliferation. 10The influence of compact and ordered carbon coating on solid-state behaviors of silicon during electrochemical processes显示文摘To address the issues of large volume change and low conductivity of silicon(Si)materials,carbon coatings have been widely employed as surface protection agent and conductive medium to encapsulate the Si materials,which can improve the electrochemical performance of Si-based electrodes.There has been a strong demand to gain a deeper understanding of the impact of efficient carbon coating over the lithiation and delithiation process of Si materials.Here,we report the first observation of the extended two-phase transformation of carbon-coated Si nanoparticles(Si/C)during electrochemical processes.The Si/C nanoparticles were prepared by sintering Si nanoparticles with polyvinylidene chloride precursor.The Si/C electrode underwent a two-phase transition during the first 20 cycles at 0.2 C,but started to engage in solid solution reaction when the ordered compact carbon coating began to crack.Under higher current density conditions,the electrode was also found to be involved in solid solution reaction,which,however,was due to the overwhelming demand of kinetic property rather than the breaking of the carbon coating.In comparison,the Si/C composites prepared with sucrose possessed more disordered and porous carbon structures,and presented solid solution reaction throughout the entire cycling process.Shuo Zhou Chen Fang Xiangyun Song Gao Liu 2020Carbon Energy2020,2,1:1
11Dual redox catalysis of VN/nitrogen-doped graphene nanocomposites for high-performance lithium-sulfur batteries显示文摘Lithium-sulfur(Li-S)batteries are regarded as one of the promising candidates for the next-generation energy storage system owing to their high capacity and energy density.However,the durable operation for the batteries is blocked by the shuttle behavior of soluble lithium polysulfides and the sluggish kinetics in the redox process.Here,VN nanoparticles on nitrogen-doped graphene(VN/NG)composite is synthesized by simple calcining method to modify the separators,which can not only chemically trap polysulfides,but also catalyze the conversion reaction between the polysulfides and the insoluble Li2S during the charge/discharge process.The catalytic effects of VN/NG are verified by the calculated activation energy(E_(a)),which is smaller than the counterpart with NG toward both directions of redox.Because of the synergistic adsorption-catalysis of VN/NG,the cells with VN/NG-modified separators deliver a superior rate performance(791 mAh g^(-1) at 5C)and cycling stability(863 mAh g^(-1) after 300 cycles with a low decaying rate of 0.068%per loop at 1C).This work provides a simple preparation strategy and fundamental understanding of the bifunctional catalyst for high-performance Li-S batteries.Erdong Jing Liang Chen Shoudong Xu Wenzhi Tian Ding Zhang Nana Wang Zhongchao Bai Xianxian Zhou Shibin Liu Donghong Duan Xiangyun Qiu 2022Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,1:1
12Early Diagnosis of Bipolar Disorder Coming Soon:Application of an Oxidative Stress Injury Biomarker(BIOS)Model显示文摘Early distinction of bipolar disorder(BD)from major depressive disorder(MDD)is difficult since no tools are available to estimate the risk of BD.In this study,we aimed to develop and validate a model of oxidative stress injury for predicting BD.Data were collected from 1252 BD and 1359 MDD patients,including 64 MDD patients identified as converting to BD from 2009 through 2018.30 variables from a randomly-selected subsample of 1827(70%)patients were used to develop the model,including age,sex,oxidative stress markers(uric acid,bilirubin,albumin,and prealbumin),sex hormones,cytokines,thyroid and liver function,and glycolipid metabolism.Univariate analyses and the Least Absolute Shrinkage and Selection Operator were applied for data dimension reduction and variable selection.Multivariable logistic regression was used to construct a model for predicting bipolar disorder by oxidative stress biomarkers(BIOS)on a nomogram.Internal validation was assessed in the remaining 784 patients(30%),and independent external validation was done with data from 3797 matched patients from five other hospitals in China.10 predictors,mainly oxidative stress markers,were shown on the nomogram.The BIOS model showed good discrimination in the training sample,with an AUC of 75.1%(95%CI:72.9%–77.3%),sensitivity of 0.66,and specificity of 0.73.The discrimination was good both in internal validation(AUC 72.1%,68.6%–75.6%)and external validation(AUC 65.7%,63.9%–67.5%).In this study,we developed a nomogram centered on oxidative stress injury,which could help in the individualized prediction of BD.For better real-world practice,a set of measurements,especially on oxidative stress markers,should be emphasized using big data in psychiatry.Zhiang Niu Xiaohui Wu Yuncheng Zhu Lu Yang Yifan Shi Yun Wang Hong Qiu Wenjie Gu Yina Wu Xiangyun Long Zheng Lu Shaohua Hu Zhijian Yao Haichen Yang Tiebang Liu Yong Xia Zhiyu Chen Jun Chen Yiru Fang 2022Neuroscience Bulletin2022,38,9:1

16Correction of Left Ventricular Doppler Echocardiographic Measurements for Physiological Variances Using a Novel Optimized Multivariable Allometric Model in Healthy Chinese Han Adults显示文摘Most left ventricular(LV)Doppler measurements vary significantly with age and gender,making it necessary to correct them for physiological variances.We aimed to verify the hypothesis that different Doppler measurements correlate nonlinearly with different biometric variables raised to different scaling factors and exponents.In this work,a total of 23 LV Doppler parameters were measured in 1224 healthy Chinese adults.An optimized multivariable allometric model(OMAM)and scaling equations were developed in 70%of the subjects(group A),and the reliability of the model and equations was verified using the remaining 30%of the subjects(group B)as well as 183 overweight subjects(group C).The single-variable isometric model(SVIM)with body surface area(BSA)as a scaling variable was used for comparison.Before correction,all 23 LV Doppler parameters correlated significantly with one or more of the biometric variables.In group B,gender differences were found in 47.8%(11/23)of the parameters and were eliminated in 81.8%(9/11)of the parameters after correction with OMAM.The successful correction rate with OMAM was 100%(23/23)in group B and 82.6%(19/23)in group C.New reference values for corrected Doppler measurements independent of biometric variables were established.The SVIM with BSA successfully corrected none of the 23 parameters.In conclusion,different LV Doppler parameters allometrically correlated with one or more of the biometric variables.The novel OMAM developed in this study successfully corrected the effects of the physiological variances of most biometric variables on Doppler measurements in healthy and overweight subjects,and was found to be far superior to the SVIM.However,whether the OMAM equations can be applied to other ethnicities,obese subjects,and pathological conditions requires further investigation.Guihua Yao Xiangyun Chen Wenjing Yang Qing Zhang Jing Liu Huan Liang Hui Sun Yao Xu Li Wang Jinfeng Xu Cheng Zhang Fengrong Sun Mei Zhang Xueying Zeng Yun Zhang 2022Engineering2022,,9:0

19Relative dielectric constant from dry rocks显示文摘Relative dielectric constant is an important physical factor in the theory of microwave remote sensing and electromagnetic transmission. This note reports the results of detecting relative dielectric constant from 197 rock samples. The regular pattern of the relative dielectric constant varying with microwave spectrum is revealed. The relative dielectric constants, correlated with the type, density, structure and chemical component of the rock, are discussed.
