3A novel approach for one-step forming ε-caprolactam from cyclohexane nitrozation catalyzed by transition metal salt显示文摘The nitrozation reaction of cyclohexane in one-step reaction to form ε-caprolactam has been studied using transition metal salt as catalysts in this work. 6Geomorphic features of Quaternary glaciation in the Taniantaweng Mountain, on the southeastern Qinghai-Tibet Plateau显示文摘We present geomorphological evidence for multiple glacial fluctuations during the Quaternary in the Taniantaweng Mountain, which is situated at the transition zone of the southeastern Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau. To reconstruct the history of glacial evolution during the Quaternary Glaciation, we present a ~13000 km^2 geomorphologic map(1:440,000) for the Quaternary glaciations, as well as three electron spin resonance(ESR) ages and three optically stimulated luminescence(OSL) ages from the landforms. By integrating these with ages from previous studies, four major glacial advances are identified during marine oxygen isotope stages(MIS) 6, 3, 2 and 1. This glacial chronology is in reasonable agreement with existing glacial chronologies from other parts of the Hengduan Mountains and surrounding mountains. Glaciers had extended to the Yuqu River during the glacial maximum advance(MIS 6), but became successively more restricted from MIS 3 to MIS 1. 8Integrative taxonomy of the Russet Bush Warbler Locustella mandelli complex reveals a new species from central China显示文摘Background: The Russet Bush Warbler Locustella(previously Bradypterus) mandelli complex occurs in mountains in the eastern Himalayas, southern China, Vietnam, the Philippines, and Indonesia. The taxonomy has been debated,with one(L. seebohmi) to four(L. seebohmi, L. mandelli, L. montis and L. timorensis) species having been recognised.Methods: We used an integrative approach, incorporating analyses of morphology, vocalizations and a molecular marker, to re-evaluate species limits in the L. mandelli complex.Results: We found that central Chinese L. mandelli differed from those from India through northern Southeast Asia to southeast China in plumage, morphometrics and song. All were easily classified by song, and(wing + culmen)/tail ratio overlapped only marginally. Both groups were reciprocally monophyletic in a mitochondrial cytochrome b(cytb) gene tree, with a mean divergence of 1.0 ± 0.2%. They were sympatric and mostly altitudinally segregated in the breeding season in southern Sichuan province. We found that the Mt Victoria(western Myanmar) population differed vocally from other L. mandelli, but no specimens are available. Taiwan Bush Warbler L. alishanensis was sister to the L. mandelli complex, with the most divergent song. Plumage, vocal and cytb evidence supported the distinctness of the south Vietnamese L. mandelli idonea. The Timor Bush Warbler L. timorensis, Javan Bush Warbler L.montis and Benguet Bush Warbler L. seebohmi differed distinctly in plumage, but among-population song variation in L. montis exceeded the differences between some populations of these taxa, and mean pairwise cytb divergences were only 0.5–0.9%. We also found that some L. montis populations differed morphologically.Conclusions: We conclude that the central Chinese population of Russet Bush Warbler represents a new species,which we describe herein, breeding at mid elevations in Sichuan, Shaanxi, Hubei, Hunan and Guizhou provinces.The taxonomic status of the other allopatric populations is less clear. However, as they differ to a degree comparable with that of the sympatric L. mandelli and the new species, we elevate L. idonea to species status, and retain L. seebohmi and L. montis as separate species, the latter with timorensis as a subspecies. 9Long-term adenosine A1 receptor activation-induced sortilin expression promotes α-synuclein upregulation in dopaminergic neurons显示文摘Prolonged activation of adenosine A1 receptor likely leads to damage of dopaminergic neurons and subsequent development of neurodegenerative diseases.However,the pathogenesis underlying long-term adenosine A1 receptor activation-induced neurodegeneration remains unclear.In this study,rats were intraperitoneally injected with 5 mg/kg of the adenosine A1 receptor agonist N6-cyclopentyladenosine(CPA)for five weeks.The mobility of rats was evaluated by forced swimming test,while their cognitive capabilities were evaluated by Y-maze test.Expression of sortilin,α-synuclein,p-JUN,and c-JUN proteins in the substantia nigra were detected by western blot analysis.In addition,immunofluorescence staining of sortilin andα-synuclein was performed to detect expression in the substantia nigra.The results showed that,compared with adenosine A1 receptor antagonist 8-cyclopentyl-1,3-dipropylxanthine(5 mg/kg)+CPA co-treated rats,motor and memory abilities were reduced,surface expression of sortin andα-synuclein in dopaminergic neurons was reduced,and total sortilin and totalα-synuclein were increased in CPA-treated rats.MN9D cells were incubated with 500 nM CPA alone or in combination with 10μM SP600125(JNK inhibitor)for 48 hours.Quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction analysis of sortilin andα-synuclein mRNA levels in MN9D cells revealed upregulated sortilin expression in MN9D cells cultured with CPA alone,but the combination of CPA and SP600125 could inhibit this expression.Predictions made using Jasper,PROMO,and Alibaba online databases identified a highly conserved sequence in the sortilin promoter that was predicted to bind JUN in both humans and rodents.A luciferase reporter assay of sortilin promoter plasmid-transfected HEK293T cells confirmed this prediction.After sortilin expression was inhibited by sh-SORT1,expression of p-JUN and c-JUN was detected by western blot analysis.Long-term adenosine A1 receptor activation levels upregulatedα-synuclein expression at the post-transcriptional level by affecting sortilin expression.The online tool Raptor-X-Binding and Discovery Studio 4.5 prediction software predicted that sortilin can bind toα-synuclein.Co-immunoprecipitation revealed an interaction between sortilin andα-synuclein in MN9D cells.Our findings indicate that suppression of prolonged adenosine A1 receptor activation potently inhibited sortilin expression andα-synuclein accumulation,and dramatically improved host cognition and kineticism.This study was approved by the University Committee of Animal Care and Supply at the University of Saskatchewan(approval No.AUP#20070090)in March 2007 and the Animals Ethics Committee of University of South China(approval No.LL0387-USC)in June 2017.Yun-Cheng Lv An-Bo Gao Jing Yang Li-Yuan Zhong Bo Jia Shu-Hui Ouyang Le Gui Tian-Hong Peng Sha Sun Francisco S.Cayabyab 2020Neural Regeneration Research2020,15,4:4
10Cytogenetic and molecular identification of three Triticum aestivum-Leymus racemosus translocation addition lines显示文摘Chromosome 2C from Aegilops cylindrica has the ability to induce chromosome breakage in common wheat (Tritivum aestivum). In the BC1F3 generation of the T. aestivum cv. Chinese Spring and a hybrid between T. aestivum-Leymus racemosus Lr.7 addition line and T. aestivum-Ae. cylindrica 2C addition line, three disomic translocation addition lines (2n = 44) were selected by mitotic chromosome C-banding and genomic in situ hybridization. We further characterized these T. aestivum-L. racemosus translocation addition lines, NAU636, NAU637 and NAU638, by chromosome C-banding, in situ hybridization using the A- and D-genome-specific bacterial artificial chromosome (BAC) clones 676D4 and 9M13; plasmids pAs1 and pSc119.2, and 45S rDNA; as well as genomic DNA of L. racemosus as probes, in combination with double ditelosomic test cross and SSR marker analysis. The translocation chromosomes were designated as T3AS-Lr7S, T6BS-Lr7S, and T5DS-Lr7L. 11Dihydro-stilbene gigantol relieves CCl4-induced hepatic oxidative stress and inflammation in mice via inhibiting C5b-9 formation in the liver显示文摘In general,anti-inflammatory treatment is considered for multiple liver diseases despite the etiology.But current drugs for alleviating liver inflammation have defects,making it necessary to develop more potent and safer drugs for liver injury.in this study,we screened a series of(dihydro-)stillene or(dihydro-)phenanthrene derivatives extracted from Pholidota chinensis for theirpotential biological activities.Among 31 compounds,the dihydro-stlbene gigantol exerted most potent protective effects onhuman hepatocytes against lithocholic acid toxicity,and exhibited solid antioxidative and anti-inflammatory effect in vitro.In micewith CCl-induced acute liver injury,pre-administration of gigantol(10,20,40 mg kg^-1·d^-1,po,for 7 days)dose-dependentydecreased serum transaminase levels and improved pathological changes in liver tissues.The elevated lipid peroxidation andinflammatory responses in the livers were also signifhcantly alleviated by gigantol.The pharmacokinetic studies showed thatgigantol was highly concentrated in the mouse lvers,which consisted with its efficacy in preventing liver injury.Using a label-freequantitative proteomic analysis we revealed that gigantol mainly regulated the immune system process in liver tissues of CCl4-treated mice,and the complement and coagulation cascades was the predominant pathway gigantol markedly inhibited theexpression of complement component C9,which was a key component for the formation of terminal complerment complex(TCC)C5b-9.These results were validated by immunohistochemistry(IHC) or real time-PCR.Confocal microscopy analysis showed thatgigantol significantly inhibited the vascular deposition of TCC in the liver.In conclusion,we demonstrate for the first time that oral administration of gigantol potently relieves liver oxidative stress and inflammation,possibly via a novel mechanism of inhibiting the C5b-9 formation in the liver.Ya-ru Xue Sheng Yao Qian Liu Zhao-liang Peng Qiang-qiang Deng—Bo Liu Zheng-hua Ma Le Wangf Hu Zhou Yang Ye Guo-yu Pan 2020Acta Pharmacologica Sinica2020,41,11:3

14Carboniferous integrative stratigraphy and timescale of China显示文摘The Carboniferous period lasted about 60 Myr, from ~358.9 Ma to ~298.9 Ma. According to the International Commission on Stratigraphy, the Carboniferous System is subdivided into two subsystems, i.e., Mississippian and Pennsylvanian, including 6 series and 7 stages. The Global Stratotype Sections and Points(GSSPs) of three stages have been ratified, the Tournaisian, Visean, and Bashkirian stages. The GSSPs of the remaining four stages(i.e., the Serpukhovian, Moscovian,Kasimovian, and Gzhelian) have not been ratified so far. This paper outlines Carboniferous stratigraphic subdivision and correlation on the basis of detailed biostratigraphy mainly from South China, and summarizes the Carboniferous chronostratigraphic framework of China. High-resolution biostratigraphic study reveals 37 conodont zones, 24 foraminiferal(including fusulinid) zones, 13 ammonoid zones, 10 brachiopod zones, and 10 rugose coral zones in the Carboniferous of China. The biostratigraphic framework based on these biozones warrants the precise correlation of regional stratigraphy of China(including2 subsystems, 4 series, and 8 stages) to that of the other regions globally. Meanwhile, the Carboniferous chemo-, sequence-,cyclo-, and event-stratigraphy of China have been intensively studied and can also be correlated worldwide. 16Limited-Budget Consensus Design and Analysis for Multiagent Systems With Switching Topologies and Intermittent Communications显示文摘This paper investigates limited-budget consensus design and analysis problems of general high-order multiagent systems with intermittent communications and switching topologies.The main contribution of this paper is that the tradeoff design between the energy consumption and the consensus performance can be realized while achieving leaderless or leaderfollowing consensus,under constraints of limited budgets and intermittent communications.Firstly,a new intermittent limitedbudget consensus control protocol with a practical trade-off design index is proposed,where the total budget of the whole multiagent system is limited.Then,leaderless limited-budget consensus design and analysis criteria are derived,in which the matrix variables of linear matrix inequalities are determined according to the total budget and the practical trade-off design parameters.Meanwhile,an explicit formulation of the consensus function is derived to describe the consensus state trajectory of the whole system.Moreover,a new two-stage transformation strategy is utilized for leader-following cases,by which the dynamics decomposition of leaderless and leader-following cases can be converted into a unified framework,and sufficient conditions of the leader-following limited-budget consensus design and analysis are determined via those of the leaderless cases.Finally,numerical simulations are given to illustrate theoretical results.Le Wang Jianxiang Xi Bo Hou Guangbin Liu 2021IEEE/CAA Journal of Automatica Sinica2021,8,10:2
17Mineralogy of Chang’e-4 landing site:preliminary results of visible and near-infrared imaging spectrometer显示文摘The exploration of mafic anomaly in South Pole-Aitken(SPA,the largest confirmed)basin on the Moon provides important insights into lunar interior.The landing of Chang’e-4(CE-4)and deployment of Yutu-2 rover on the discontinuous ejecta from Finsen crater enabled in-situ measurements of the unusual mineralogy in the central portion of SPA basin with visible and near-infrared imaging spectrometer(VNIS).Here we present detailed processing procedures based on the level 2B data of CE-4 VNIS and preliminary mineralogical results at the exploration area of Yutu-2 rover.A systematic processing pipeline is developed to derive credible reflectance spectra,based on which several spectral and mineral indices are calculated to constrain the mafic mineralogy.The mafic components in the soils and boulder around CE-4 landing site are concluded as clinopyroxene-bearing with intermediate composition and probably dominated by pigeonite although the possibility of mixing orthopyroxen(OPX)and calcic clinopyroxene(CPX)also exists.These mineralogical results are more consistent with a petrogenesis that the CE-4 regolith and rock fragment are derived from rapid-cooling magmatic systems and we interpret that the materials at the CE-4 landing site ejected from Finsen crater are probably recrystallized from impact melt settings.Jian CHEN Zongcheng LING Le QIAO Zhiping HE Rui XU Lingzhi SUN Jiang ZHANG Bo LI Xiaohui FU Changqing LIU Xiaobin QI 2020Science China(Information Sciences)2020,63,4:2
