Smart Objects Identification System for Robotic Surveillance显示文摘Video surveillance is an active research topic in computer vision. In this paper, humans and cars identifcation technique suitable for real time video surveillance systems is presented. The technique we proposed includes background subtraction, foreground segmentation, shadow removal, feature extraction and classifcation. The feature extraction of the extracted foreground objects is done via a new set of afne moment invariants based on statistics method and these were used to identify human or car. When the partial occlusion occurs, although features of full body cannot be extracted, our proposed technique extracts the features of head shoulder. Our proposed technique can identify human by extracting the human head-shoulder up to 60%–70%occlusion.Thus,it has a better classifcation to solve the issue of the loss of property arising from human occluded easily in practical applications. The whole system works at approximately 16 29 fps and thus it is suitable for real-time applications. The accuracy for our proposed technique in identifying human is very good, which is 98.33%,while for cars identifcation, the accuracy is also good, which is 94.41%.The overall accuracy for our proposed technique in identifying human and car is at 98.04%.The experiment results show that this method is efective and has strong robustness. | Amir Akramin Shafie Azhar Bin Mohd Ibrahim Muhammad Mahbubur Rashid | 2014 | International Journal of Automation and computing2014,11,1: | 3
Horizontal and vertical gene transfer drive sediment antibiotic resistome in an urban lagoon system显示文摘Rapid urbanization has resulted in pervasive occurrence of antibiotic resistance genes(ARGs)in urban aquatic ecosystems. However, limited information is available concerning the ARG profiles and the forces responsible for their assembly in urban landscape lagoon systems. Here,we employed high-throughput quantitative PCR(HT-q PCR)to characterize the spatial variations of ARGs in surface and core sediments of Yundang Lagoon,China. The results indicated that the average richness and absolute abundance of ARGs were 11 and 53 times higher in the lagoon sediments as compared to pristine reference Tibetan lake sediments, highlighting the role of anthropogenic activities in ARG pollution.Co-occurrence network analysis indicated that various anaerobic prokaryotic genera belonging to Alpha-,Deltaproteobacteria,Bacteroidetes,Euryarchaeota,Firmicutes and Synergistetes were the potential hosts of ARGs.The partial least squares-path modeling(PLS-PM)analysis revealed positive and negative indirect effects of physicochemical factors and heavy metals on the lagoon ARG profiles, via biotic factors, respectively. The horizontal(mediated by mobile genetic elements)and vertical(mediated by prokaryotic communities)gene transfer may directly contribute the most to drive the abundance and composition of ARGs,respectively.Furthermore, the neutral community model demonstrated that the assembly of sediment ARG communities was jointly governed by deterministic and stochastic processes.Overall, this study provides novel insights into the diversity and distribution of ARGs in the benthic habitat of urban lagoon systems and underlying mechanisms for the spread and proliferation of ARGs. | Hongjie Wang Liyuan Hou Yongqin Liu Keshao Liu Lanping Zhang Fuyi Huang Lin Wang Azhar Rashid Anyi Hu Changping Yu | 2021 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2021,33,4: | 2

A Triethyleneglycol C60 Mono-adduct Derivative for Efficient Electron Transport in Inverted Perovskite Solar Cells显示文摘Inverted perovskite solar cells(PSCs)have attracted increasing attention in recent years owing to their low-temperature fabrication proces s.However, they suffer from a limited number of electron transport materials available with[6,6]-phenyl C61 butyric acid methyl ester(PCBM)to be the most widely studied based on its appropriate energy levels and high electron mobility. The low relative permittivity and aggregation tendency upon illumination of PCBM,however, compromises the solar cell efficiency whereas its modest hydrophobicity negatively impacts on the device stability.Alternative electron transport materials with desired properties and appropriate degree of hydrophobicity are thus desirable for further developments in inverted PSCs.Herein,we synthesize a triethyleneglycol C60 mono-adduct derivative(termed as EPF03)and test it as a novel electron transport material to replace PCBM in inverted PSCs based on a quadruple cation(RbCsMAFA)perovskite. We also compare this derivative with two novel fullerenes decorated with two(EPF01)or one dodecyl(EPF02)long side chains. The latter two fail to perform efficiently in inverted PSCs whereas the former enabled a power conversion efficiency of 18.43%,which represents a 9%improvement compared to the reference device using PCBM(17.21%).The enhanced performance mainly stems from improved electron extraction and reduced recombination enabled by the insertion of the large relative permittivity amongst other properties of EPF03.Furthermore,our results indicate that triethylene glycol side chains can also passivate perovskite trap states, suppress ion migration and enhance photostability and long-term stability of EPF03 based perovskite solar cells. | Azhar Fakharuddin Konstantina-Kalliopi Armadorou Leandros P.Zorba Marinos Tountas Tobias Seewald Anastasia Soultati Polychronis Tsipas Emilia R.Schütz Nikolaos Tzoganakis Stylianos Panagiotakis Konstantina Yannakopoulou Athanasios Dimoulas Vassilis Psycharis Emmanuel Kymakis Abd Rashid bin Mohd Yusoff Konstantinos Aidinis Lukas Schmidt-Mende Georgios C.Vougioukalakis Mohammad Khaja Nazeeruddin Maria Vasilopoulou | 2023 | Chinese Journal of Chemistry2023,41,4: | 0
Fractional-calculus analysis of human immunodeficiency virus and CD4+T-cells with control interventions显示文摘It is undeniable that HIV infection has been a censorious public health concern over the past four decades. It is reported that HIV is the main reason for AIDs which has decimated the global population of humans and imposed a significant economic burden on affected areas.Hence,it is significant to study the transmission of HIV viruses in the body of a human host.In this study,we use a fractional framework to organise the intricate interactions of CD4^(+)T-cells and HIV viruses in order to investigate HIV infection with control interventions. We apply the operators of Caputo and Atangana–Baleanu to interrogate the transmission phenomena of HIV viruses. For the analysis of our system,we present the basic concepts of the fractional operators.Numerical schemes are provided to show the solution pathways of the system with the variation of input parameters.Furthermore, the findings emphasise the chaotic and dynamical behaviour of HIV.We run several simulations to visualise the influence of input factors and quantitatively illustrated the dynamics of HIV.Chaos and oscillatory behaviour are intimately linked, and this is owing to the system’s nonlinearity.Furthermore, our findings indicate the most important factors for infection control and prevention. | Rashid Jan Salah Boulaaras Syed Azhar Ali Shah | 2022 | Communications in Theoretical Physics2022,74,10: | 0
Aspect-Based Sentiment Analysis for Social Multimedia:A Hybrid Computational Framework显示文摘People utilize microblogs and other social media platforms to express their thoughts and feelings regarding current events, public products and the latest affairs.People share their thoughts and feelings about various topics, including products, news, blogs, etc. In user reviews and tweets, sentiment analysis is used to discover opinions and feelings.Sentiment polarity is a term used to describe how sentiment is represented.Positive, neutral and negative are all examples of it.This area is still in its infancy and needs several critical upgrades.Slang and hidden emotions can detract from the accuracy of traditional techniques.Existing methods only evaluate the polarity strength of the sentiment words when dividing them into positive and negative categories. Some existing strategies are domain-specific.The proposed model incorporates aspect extraction, association rule mining and the deep learning technique Bidirectional EncoderRepresentations from Transformers(BERT).Aspects are extracted using Part of Speech Tagger and association rulemining is used to associate aspects with opinion words.Later, classification was performed using BER.The proposed approach attained an average of 89.45%accuracy,88.45%precision and 85.98%recall on different datasets of products and Twitter. The results showed that the proposed technique achieved better than state-of-the-art sentiment analysis techniques. | Muhammad Rizwan Rashid Rana Saif Ur Rehman Asif Nawaz Tariq Ali Azhar Imran Abdulkareem Alzahrani Abdullah Almuhaimeed | 2023 | Computer Systems Science & Engineering2023,46,8: | 0
Shape Effect of Nanoparticles on Nanofluid Flow Containing Gyrotactic Microorganisms显示文摘In this paper,we discussed the effect of nanoparticles shape on bioconvection nanofluid flow over the vertical cone in a permeable medium. The nanofluid contains water,Al2O3 nanoparticles with sphere(spherical)and lamina(non-spherical)shapes and motile microorganisms. The phenomena of heat absorption/generation,Joule heating and thermal radiation with chemical reactions have been incorporated. The similarity transformations technique is used to transform a governing system of partial differential equations into ordinary differential equations. The numerical bvp4c MATLAB program is used to find the solution of ordinary differential equations. The interesting aspects of pertinent parameters on mass transfer, energy, concentration, and density of themotilemicroorganisms’profiles are computed and discussed. Our analysis depicts that the performance of sphere shape nanoparticles in the form of velocity distribution, temperature distribution, skin friction,Sherwood number and Motile density number is better than lamina(non-spherical)shapes nanoparticles. | Umair Rashid Azhar Iqbal Abdullah M.Alsharif | 2023 | Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences2023,,1: | 0
