| 2 | Mucosal healing and deep remission: What does it mean?显示文摘The use of specific terms under different meanings and varying definitions has always been a source of confusion in science.When we point our efforts towards an evidence based medicine for inflammatory bowel diseases(IBD)the same is true:Terms such as'mucosal healing'or'deep remission'as endpoints in clinical trials or treatment goals in daily patient care may contribute to misconceptions if meanings change over time or definitions are altered.It appears to be useful to first have a look at the development of terms and their definitions,to assess their intrinsic and context-independent problems and then to analyze the different relevance in present-day clinical studies and trials.The purpose of such an attempt would be to gain clearer insights into the true impact of the clinical findings behind the terms.It may also lead to a better defined use of those terms for future studies.The terms'mucosal healing'and'deep remission'have been introduced in recent years as new therapeutic targets in the treatment of IBD patients.Several clinical trials,cohort studies or inception cohorts provided data that the long term disease course is better,when mucosal healing is achieved.However,it is still unclear whether continued or increased therapeutic measures will aid or improve mucosal healing for patients in clinical remission.Clinical trials are under way to answer this question.Attention should be paid to clearly address what levels of IBD activity are looked at.In the present review article authors aim to summarize the current evidence available on mucosal healing and deep remission and try to highlight their value and position in the everyday decision making for gastroenterologists. | Gerhard Rogler Stephan Vavricka Alain Schoepfer Peter L Lakatos | 2013 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2013，19，43： | 4 |

| 4 | The equilibrium stability for a smooth and discontinuous oscillator with dry friction显示文摘In this paper,we investigate the equilibrium stability of a Filippov-type system having multiple stick regions based upon a smooth and discontinuous(SD) oscillator with dry friction.The sets of equilibrium states of the system are analyzed together with Coulomb friction conditions in both( f_n,f_s) and(x,˙x) planes.In the stability analysis,Lyapunov functions are constructed to derive the instability for the equilibrium set of the hyperbolic type and La Salle's invariance principle is employed to obtain the stability of the nonhyperbolic type.Analysis demonstrates the existence of a thick stable manifold and the interior stability of the hyperbolic equilibrium set due to the attractive sliding mode of the Filippov property,and also shows that the unstable manifolds of the hyperbolic-type are that of the endpoints with their saddle property.Numerical calculations show a good agreement with the theoretical analysis and an excellent efficien y of the approach for equilibrium states in this particular Filippov system.Furthermore,the equilibrium bifurcations are presented to demonstrate the transition between the smooth and the discontinuous regimes. | Zhi-Xin Li Qing-Jie Cao Alain Léger | 2016 | Acta Mechanica Sinica2016，32，2： | 2 |

| 7 | Role of endoscopic ultrasound in the screening and follow-up of high-risk individuals for familial pancreatic cancer显示文摘Managing familial pancreatic cancer(FPC)is challenging for gastroenterologists,surgeons and oncologists.High-risk individuals(HRI)for pancreatic cancer(PC)(FPC or with germline mutations)are a heterogeneous group of subjects with a theoretical lifetime cumulative risk of PC over 5%.Screening is mainly based on annual magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)and endoscopic ultrasound(EUS).The goal of screening is to identify early-stage operable cancers or high-risk precancerous lesions(pancreatic intraepithelial neoplasia or intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasms with high-grade dysplasia).In the literature,target lesions are identified in 2%-5%of HRI who undergo screening.EUS appears to provide better identification of small solid lesions(0%-46%of HRI)and chronicpancreatitis-like parenchymal changes(14%-77%of HRI),while MRI is probably the best modality to identify small cystic lesions(13%-49%of HRI).There are no specific studies in HRI on the use of contrast-enhanced harmonic EUS.EUS can also be used to obtain tissue samples.Nevertheless,there is still limited evidence on the accuracy of imaging procedures used for screening or agreement on which patients to treat.The cost-effectiveness of screening is also unclear.Certain new EUS-related techniques,such as searching for DNA abnormalities or protein markers in pancreatic fluid,appear to be promising. | Diane Lorenzo Vinciane Rebours Frédérique Maire Maxime Palazzo Jean-Michel Gonzalez Marie-Pierre Vullierme Alain Aubert Pascal Hammel Philippe Lévy Louis de Mestier | 2019 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2019，25，34： | 2 |
