2Thermodynamic and Adsorption Behaviour of Medicinal Nitramine as a Corrosion Inhibitor for AISI Steel Alloy in HCl Solution显示文摘The inhibition ability of 2-amino-5-nitrothiazole(Nitramine) against the corrosion of AISI steel 4130 in 1 mol/L HCl solution was evaluated by polarization,electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS) and chronoamperometry.Polarization studies indicated that nitramine retards both the cathodic and anodic reactions through chemical adsorption and blocks the active corrosion sites.The adsorption of this compound obeyed the Temkin's adsorption isotherm.The inhibition efficiency was increased with inhibitor concentration as well as temperature.EIS data were analysed by equivalent circuit model shows that as the inhibitor concentration increased the charge transfer resistance of steel increased whilst double layer capacitance decreased.Kinetic and thermodynamic parameters such as activation energy,enthalpy,entropy and free energy of activation and adsorption were calculated.Atomic force microscopy and optical microscopy were used to study the steel surface with and without inhibitor.Ali Reza Hosein Zadeh Iman Danaee Mohamad Hosein Maddahy 2013Journal of Materials Science & Technology2013,29,9:5

4Promoter polymorphism of transforming growth factor-β1 gene and ulcerative colitis显示文摘AIM: To elucidate the possible difference in two promoter polymorphisms of the transforming growth factor-β1 (TGF-β1) gene (-800G > A, -509C > T) between ulcerative colitis (UC) patients and normal subjects.METHODS: A total of 155 patients with established ulcerative colitis and 139 normal subjects were selected as controls. Two single nucleotide polymorphisms within the promoter region of TGF-β1 gene (-509C > T and -800G > A) were genotyped using PCR-RFLP. RESULTS: There was a statistically significant difference in genotype and allele frequency distributions between UC patients and controls for the -800G > A polymorphism of the TGF-β1 gene (P < 0.05). The frequency of the TGF-β1 gene polymorphism at position -800 showed that the AA genotype and the allele A frequencies significantly differed between the patients and healthy controls (P < 0.05). 12An efficient aerodynamic shape optimization of blended wing body UAV using multi-fidelity models显示文摘This paper presents a novel optimization technique for an efficient multi-fidelity model building approach to reduce computational costs for handling aerodynamic shape optimization based on high-fidelity simulation models. The wing aerodynamic shape optimization problem is solved by dividing optimization into three steps—modeling 3D(high-fidelity) and 2D(lowfidelity) models, building global meta-models from prominent instead of all variables, and determining robust optimizing shape associated with tuning local meta-models. The adaptive robust design optimization aims to modify the shape optimization process. The sufficient infilling strategy—known as adaptive uniform infilling strategy—determines search space dimensions based on the last optimization results or initial point. Following this, 3D model simulations are used to tune local meta-models. Finally, the global optimization gradient-based method—Adaptive Filter Sequential Quadratic Programing(AFSQP) is utilized to search the neighborhood for a probable optimum point. The effectiveness of the proposed method is investigated by applying it, along with conventional optimization approach-based meta-models, to a Blended Wing Body(BWB) Unmanned Aerial Vehicle(UAV). The drag coefficient is defined as the objective function, which is subjected to minimum lift coefficient bounds and stability constraints. 15基于差分进化算法的自主式水下航行器在时变水下环境中的快速路径规划方法(英文)显示文摘Robust and efficient AUV path planning is a key element for persistence AUV maneuvering in variable underwater environments. To develop such a path planning system, in this study, differential evolution(DE) algorithm is employed. The performance of the DE-based planner in generating time-efficient paths to direct the AUV from its initial conditions to the target of interest is investigated within a complexed 3D underwater environment incorporated with turbulent current vector fields, coastal area,islands, and static/dynamic obstacles. The results of simulations indicate the inherent efficiency of the DE-based path planner as it is capable of extracting feasible areas of a real map to determine the allowed spaces for the vehicle deployment while coping undesired current disturbances, exploiting desirable currents, and avoiding collision boundaries in directing the vehicle to its destination.
