1Path Planning for Intelligent Robots Based on Deep Q-learning With Experience Replay and Heuristic Knowledge显示文摘Path planning and obstacle avoidance are two challenging problems in the study of intelligent robots. In this paper, we develop a new method to alleviate these problems based on deep Q-learning with experience replay and heuristic knowledge. In this method, a neural network has been used to resolve the 'curse of dimensionality' issue of the Q-table in reinforcement learning. When a robot is walking in an unknown environment, it collects experience data which is used for training a neural network;such a process is called experience replay.Heuristic knowledge helps the robot avoid blind exploration and provides more effective data for training the neural network. 2Ionic liquid mediated CO_2 activation for DMC synthesis显示文摘Promoted catalytic reaction between methanol and CO2 for dimethyl carbonate(DMC) synthesis is conducted over K2CO3/CH3 I catalyst in the presence of ionic liquid under microwave irradiation.The effect of ionic liquids incorporated with microwave irradiation on the yield of DMC is investigated.DMC was found to form at lower temperature in a relative short time,which indicated an enhanced catalytic process by ionic liquid.Among the ionic liquids used,1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium chloride is the most effective promoter.Density functional theory calculations indicate that CO2 bond lengths and angles changed due to the molecular interaction of ionic liquid and CO2,resulting in the activation of CO2 molecules and consequently the acceleration of reaction rate.Jun Du Jing Shi Zhengfei Li Zuohua Liu Xing Fan Changyuan Tao 2012Journal of Natural Gas Chemistry2012,21,4:7
3Fiber damage analysis model for RC beam-column based on EEP super-convergent computation显示文摘A new numerical strategy to model nonlinear damage behavior of RC beam-column member based on level of material and superconvergent computation is presented in this paper. A fiber damage analysis model (FDAM) for RC beam-column member is established by analyzing section of fiber beam column element with the uniaxial damage constitutive relations of con-crete. The damage index of RC member through statistical analysis of concrete fibers damage is defined in the extreme section of beam elements, which can describe the nonlinear damage behavior of RC beam-column member under any loadings. The newly proposed element energy projection (EEP) method is applied to the inelastic analysis of FDAM. EEP superconvergent formulas for section forces and deformations of beam-column are established, and general algorithm and numerical strategy adopting EEP super-convergent computation for section deformation increment are proposed in the classical Newton-Raphson process. Both analysis and numerical test show that the EEP method can effectively find out the nonlinear feature of the distribution, and accurately obtain the damage distribution of RC beamcolumn. 4Short-chain fatty acids can improve lipid and glucose metabolism independently of the pig gut microbiota显示文摘Background:Previous studies have shown that exogenous short-chain fatty acids(SCFAs)introduction attenuated the body fat deposition in conventional mice and pigs.However,limited studies have evaluated the effects of exogenously introduced SCFAs on the lipid and glucose metabolism independently of the gut microbiota.This study was to investigate the effects of exogenous introduction of SCFAs on the lipid and glucose metabolism in a germ-free(GF)pig model.Methods:Twelve hysterectomy-derived newborn pigs were reared in six sterile isolators.All pigs were hand-fed with sterile milk powder for 21 d,then the sterile feed was introduced to pigs for another 21 d.In the second 21-d period,six pigs were orally administrated with 25 mL/kg sterile saline per day and considered as the GF group,while the other six pigs were orally administrated with 25 mL/kg SCFAs mixture(acetic,propionic,and butyric acids,45,15,and 11 mmol/L,respectively)per day and regarded as FA group.Results:Orally administrated with SCFAs tended to increase the adiponectin concentration in serum,enhance the CPT-1 activity in longissimus dorsi,and upregulate the ANGPTL4 mRNA expression level in colon(P<0.10).Meanwhile,the mRNA abundances of ACC,FAS,and SREBP-1C in liver and CD36 in longissimus dorsi of the FA group were decreased(P<0.05)compared with those in the GF group.Besides,the mRNA expression of PGC-1αin liver and LPL in longissimus dorsi tended to(P<0.10)upregulate and downregulate respectively in the FA group.Moreover,oral administration of SCFAs tended to increase the protein level of GPR43(P<0.10)and decrease the protein level of ACC(P<0.10)in liver.Also,oral administration of SCFAs upregulated the p-AMPK/AMPK ratio and the mRNA expressions of GLUT-2 and GYS2 in liver(P<0.05).In addition,the metabolic pathway associated with the biosynthesis of unsaturated fatty acids was most significantly promoted(P<0.05)by oral administration of SCFAs.Conclusions:Exogenous introduction of SCFAs might attenuate the fat deposition and to some extent improve the glucose control in the pig model,which occurred independently of the gut microbiota.Hua Zhou Bing Yu Jing Sun Zuohua Liu Hong Chen Liangpeng Ge Daiwen Chen 2021Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2021,12,4:5
5A novel method for extracting vanadium by low temperature sodium roasting from converter vanadium slag显示文摘Long-term high temperature in conventional vanadium extraction process would cause particles to be sintered and wrapped, thus reducing extraction efficiency of vanadium. Based on the purpose of directional conversion and process intensification, this work proposed a combination of low temperature sodium roasting and high efficiency selective oxidation leaching in vanadium extraction. The investigation of the reaction mechanism suggested that the structure of vanadium slag was changed by roasting, which also caused the fracture of spinel.The addition of MnO2 promoted the directional oxidation of low-valent vanadium into high valence. It also found that Na2S2O8 could oxidize low-valent vanadium effectively in leaching. The leaching efficiency of vanadium reached 87.74% under the optimum conditions, including a roasting temperature of 650 ℃, a roasting time of 2.0 h, a molar ratio of sodium-to-vanadium of 0.6, a MnO2(roasting additive) dosage of 5 wt% and a Na2S2O8(leaching oxidant) dosage of 5 wt%. 6Removal of heavy metals from aqueous solution by carbon nanotubes: adsorption equilibrium and kinetics显示文摘Carbon nanotubes prepared by catalytic chemical vapor deposition of hydrocarbon at 650℃ show good adsorption capability of Pb 2+ , Cu 2+ and Cd 2+ ions from aqueous solution after oxidized with concentrated nitric acid at 140℃ for 1 h. The specific surface area and particle size distribution of the as-grown and oxidized CNTs were studied by BET method and laser particle analyzer. Three kinetic models, that is, first-, pseudo second- and second-order, were used to investigate the adsorption data and the pseudo second-order model can represent the experimental data better than two others. 7Measurement of laminar burning velocities and analysis of flame stabilities for hydrogen-air-diluent premixed mixtures显示文摘The laminar burning velocities and Markstein lengths of the hydrogen-air-diluent mixtures were meas-ured at different equivalence ratios (0.4―1.5), different diluents (N2, CO2 and 15%CO2+85%N2) and di-lution ratios (0, 0.05, 0.10 and 0.15) by using the outwardly expanding flame. The influences of flame stretch rate on the flame propagation characteristics were analyzed. The results show that both the laminar burning velocities and the Markstein lengths of the hydrogen-air-diluent mixtures decrease with the increase of dilution ratio. The decrease in Markstein lengths means that adding diluents into the hydrogen-air mixtures will decrease the diffusional-thermal instability of the flame front. For a specified dilution ratio, the laminar burning velocities give their maximum values at an equivalence ratio of 1.8. The Markstein lengths increase with the increase of the equivalence ratio monotonously regardless of the diluents. 8Distribution pattern of endangered bird species in China显示文摘In this study,we determined six“hotspots”for avian biodiversity conservation in China.We analyzed the distribution patterns of 183 threatened bird species in China in conjunction with geographical data to produce a distribution map that shows the concentrations of threatened species.The six biodiversity hotspots are:the western Tianshan Mountains;the Qilian and Hengduan mountains;southern Anhui,southern Jiangsu,and the Zhejiang Hills;the Songliao Plain and the northern region of the North China Plain;the island of Taiwan;and the island of Hainan.Based on our analysis of a species–habitat matrix,species were determined to be distributed mainly in broadleaved forest,grassland and meadows,urban and agricultural areas,wetlands,and bush.Most species were commonly found to have a range of three to five different habitat types.Apart from the six biodiversity hotspots,six ecological clusters were determined.Protection strategies indicating different levels of habitat priority among the biodiversity hotspots were also recommended.Fumin LEI Hongfeng ZHAO Zuohua YIN 2006Integrative Zoology2006,1,4:4
9Effect of 2,5-dimethylfuran addition on ignition delay times of n-heptane at high temperatures显示文摘The shock tube autoignition of 2,5-dimethylfuran (DMF)/n-heptane blends (DMF)/n-100%, by mole fraction) with equivalence ratios of 0.5, 1.0, and 2.0 over the temperature range of 1200-1800 K and pressures of 2.0 atm and 10.0 atm were investigated. A detailed blend chemical kinetic model resulting from the merging of validated kinetic models for the components of the fuel blends was developed. The experimental observations indicate that the ignition delay times nonlinearly increase with an increase in the DMF addition level. Chemical kinetic analysis including radical pool analysis and flux analysis were conducted to explain the DMF addition effects. The kinetic analysis shows that at lower DMF blending levels, the two fuels have negligible impacts on the consumption pathways of each other.As the DMF addition increases to relatively higher levels, the consumption path of n-heptane is significantly changed due to the competition of small radicals, which primarily leads to the nonlinear increase in the ignition delay times of DMF/n-heptane blends.Zhenhua GAO Erjiang HU Zhaohua XU Geyuan YIN Zuohua HUANG 2019Frontiers in Energy2019,13,3:4

11Genome-wide analysis reveals selection for Chinese Rongchang pigs显示文摘Livestock have undergone domestication and consequently strong selective pressure on genes or genomic regions that control desirable traits. To identify selection signatures in the genome of Chinese Rongchang pigs, we generated a total of about 170 Gb of DNA sequence data with about 6.4-fold coverage for each of six female individuals. By combining these data with the publically available genome data of 10 Asian wild boars,we identified 449 protein-coding genes with selection signatures in Rongchang pigs, which are mainly involved in growth and hormone binding, nervous system development, and drug metabolism. The accelerated evolution of these genes may contribute to the dramatic phenotypic differences between Rongchang pigs and Chinese wild boars. 12Shock tube study on auto-ignition characteristics of kerosene/air mixtures显示文摘Ignition delay times are obtained for kerosene/air mixtures behind the reflected shock waves at temperatures between 1445 and 1650 K,at a pressure of 0.11 MPa and an equivalence ratio of 1.0.A nebulization device with Laval nozzle is used to nebulize kerosene and form an aerosol phase,which evaporates and diffuses rapidly behind the incident shock waves.Mixtures auto-ignite behind the reflected shock waves.An ICCD is used to visualize the kerosene/air mixture's ignition characteristics.The mixture's ignition intensity increases with increase in initial temperature.Continuous and irregular flames exist below 1515 K while plane and discontinuous flames exist over 1560 K.Ignition delay times decrease with increase in initial temperature.Experimental data shows good agreement with results reported previously in the literature.A new surrogate (consisting of 10% toluene,10% ethylbenzene and 80% n-decane) is proposed for kerosene.Honnet et al.'s mechanism is used to simulate the ignition of kerosene with calculations agreeing well with the experimental data.The sensitivity of reaction H+O2 <=>OH+O,which shows the highest sensitivity to the ignition delay time,increases with an increase in temperature.The chain breaching reaction of CH3 with O2 accelerates the total reaction rate and the H-atom abstraction of n-decane controls the total reaction rate.The rate of production and instantaneous heat production indicate that two reactions,H+O2 <=>OH+O and O+H2 <=>OH+H,are the key reactions to the formation of OH radicals,as well as the main endothermic reaction.However,the reaction of R3 is the main heat release reaction during ignition.Flame structure analysis shows that initial pressure is increased slightly as CO and H2O will appear before main ignition.ZHANG YingJia HUANG ZuoHua WANG JinHua XU ShengLi 2011Chinese Science Bulletin2011,56,13:2
13Experimental and kinetic study on ignition delay times of methane/hydrogen/oxygen/nitrogen mixtures by shock tube显示文摘Ignition delay times of methane/hydrogen/oxygen/nitrogen mixtures with hydrogen amount-of-substance fractions ranging from 0–20% were measured in a shock tube facility.The ambient temperature varied from 1422 to 1877 K and the pressure was maintained at 0.4 MPa behind the reflected shock wave.The experiments were conducted at an equivalence ratio of 2.0.The fuel mixtures were diluted with nitrogen gas so that the nitrogen amount-of-substance fraction was 95%.The experimental ignition delay time of the CH4/H2 mixture decreased as the hydrogen amount-of-substance fraction increased.The enhancement of ignition by hydrogen addition was weak when the ambient temperature was >1750 K,and strong when the temperature was <1725 K.The ignition delay time of 20% H2/80% CH4 was only one-third that of 100% CH4 at 1500 K.A modified model based on GRI-Mech 3.0 was proposed and used to calculate the ignition delay times of test mixtures.The calculated results agreed with the experimental ignition delay times.Normalized sensitivity analysis showed that HO·+H2 →H·+H2O was the main reaction for the formation of the H· at 1400 K.As the hydrogen amount-of-substance fraction increased,chain branching was enhanced through the reaction H·+O2→O·+HO·,and this reduced the ignition delay time.At 1800 K,the methyl radical (H3C·) became the key species that influenced the ignition of the CH4/H2/O2/N2 mixtures,and sensitivity coefficients of the chain termination reaction 2H3C·(+M)→C2H6(+M),and chain propagation reaction HO2+H3C·→HO·+CH3O decreased,which reduced the influence of hydrogen addition on the ignition of the CH4/H2 mixtures.ZHANG YingJia HUANG ZuoHua WEI LiangJie NIU ShaoDong 2011Chinese Science Bulletin2011,56,26:2
14Study on cavern evolution and performance of three mixers in agitation of yield-pseudoplastic fluids显示文摘The hydrodynamic performance of three mixers single shaft central mixer(SSC), single shaft off-centred mixer(SSO), dual shaft off-centred mixer(DSO), was investigated in the mixing of yield-pseudoplastic fluids(xanthan gum solutions) in the laminar regime. To explore and determine the efficiency of three mixers, both numerical and experimental approaches were adopted. The fluid rheology was described by the Herschel–Bulkley rheological model. Computational fluid dynamics was employed to simulate the apparent viscosity distribution, mixing time, and the flow pattern inside the stirred tank. The developed model was validated through experimentally measured torque. The influence mechanism of the rotational speed and fluid rheology on the cavern evolution was explored deeply. The performances of three mixers in this work were compared at the constant power input and fluid rheology with respect to the flow pattern, mixing time, and mixing efficiency. The results verify that the faster the rotating speed, the greater influence of the fluid rheology on the cavern evolution, and the more uniform apparent viscosity distribution. Moreover, the mixing time decreases continuously as the increasing power consumption per unit volume, and the dimensionless mixing time of DSO mixer was nearly 42.8% and 6.1% shorter than that of SSC and SCO mixer at the same Reynolds number, respectively. 15An experimental study of premixed laminar methane/oxygen/argon flames doped with hydrogen at low pressure with synchrotron photoionization显示文摘Laminar premixed stoichiometric methane/hydrogen/oxygen/argon flames were investigated with tun- able synchrotron vacuum ultraviolet (VUV) photoionization and molecular-beam sampling mass spec- trometry techniques. The methane/hydrogen fuel blends with hydrogen volumetric fraction of 0, 20%, 40%, 60% and 80% were studied. All observed flame species, including stable intermediates and radi- cals in the flames, were detected by measuring photoionization mass spectra and photoionization effi- ciency (PIE) spectra. Mole fraction profiles of major species and intermediates were derived by scan- ning burner at some selected photon energies near ionization thresholds. The influence of hydrogen addition on mole fraction of major species and intermediates was analyzed. The results show that the major species mole fraction of CO, CO2 and CH4 decreases with the increase of hydrogen fraction. The mole fraction of intermediates measured in this experiment decreases remarkably with the increase of hydrogen fraction. This would be due to the increase of H and OH radicals by hydrogen addition and the high diffusivity and activity of H radical promoting the chemical reaction. 18Effects of water-cooled cover on physiological and production parameters of farrowing sows under hot and humid climates显示文摘The hot and humid climates,as encountered in the southern region of China with the open housing,can adversely impact the sows undergoing heat stress during the most vulnerable period at lactation.Hence,a water-cooled cover system(WCCs)for local cooling has essential practical value to improve productivity.The WCCs was developed for the sow crate of lactating sows separately,which performance was validated with the cooling efficiency in the sow occupied zone(SOZ)and physiological parameters.The results showed that the WCCs for the farrowing sows using aluminium plastic tubes connected in series could reach an appropriate cooling performance in adjacent units.The WCCs could decrease the SOZ air temperature by 3.0-4.5℃under the extremely hot climate when the indoor air temperature was 37℃,and maintain a suitable range(25-30℃)under the typical hot climate(<35℃).The respiration rate and skin temperature of farrowing sows had no significant difference between treatment group(WCC)and control group(sprinkle cooling)when the air temperature was below 30℃,but had a significant difference(p<0.05)when air temperature rose above 30℃.The control sows drank more during hot weather,and the feed intake was significantly lower than the sows with the WCCs(p<0.01).It was concluded that the WCCs could alleviate the heat stress of farrowing sows during typical hot climate.Pang Zhenzhen Li Baoming Zheng Weichao Lin Baozhong Liu Zuohua 2016International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2016,9,4:2

20Flame instability analysis of diethyl ether-air premixed mixtures at elevated pressures显示文摘Combustion characteristics of premixed diethyl ether-air mixtures were studied at different equivalence ratios and elevated initial pressures using schlieren photography and spherically propagating flame. Laminar burning velocities, Markstein number and critical radii at onset of cellular structure were obtained. The results show that an increase in initial pressure leads to a decrease in the unstretched laminar burning velocities. Laminar burning velocities give their peak values at the equivalence ratio of 1.1. Markstein number decrease with the increase of initial pressure and equivalence ratio, indicating that the instability of flame front is increased with the increase of initial pressure and equivalence ratio.
