1Evodiamine induces extrinsic and intrinsic apoptosis of ovarian cancer cells via the mitogen-activated protein kinase/phosphatidylinositol-3-kinase/protein kinase B signaling pathways显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To explore the effects of evodiamine on ovarian cancer cells and the mechanisms underlying such effects.METHODS: Human ovarian cancer cells HO-8910 PM were treated with evodiamine at 0, 1.25,2.5, and 5 μM for 1-4 d. 3-(4,5-Dimethiylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide(MTT) assay was used to detect the growth inhibition rate of evodiamine-treated HO-8910 PM cells. The cell cycle was observed via propidium iodide(PI) staining. Apoptosis induction was assessed via Annexin V-fluorescein isothiocyanate/propidium iodide(Annexin V-FITC/PI) double staining assay. To verify the mechanism of apoptosis, caspase-dependent apoptotic pathway-related protein was detected by Western blot analysis. The expression levels of mitogen-activated protein kinase(MAPK)and/or phosphatidylinositol-3-kinase(PI3K)/pro-tein kinase B(Akt) pathway-related proteins were also investigated.RESULTS: Evodiamine significantly inhibited the proliferation of HO-8910 PM cells in a dose- and time-dependent manner. Evodiamine induced G2/M arrest with an increase of cyclin B1 level, and promoted cell apoptosis with a decrease of B cell lymphoma/lewkmia-2(Bcl-2) and an increase of Bcl-2-associated X protein(Bax) level. In addition,evodiamine treatment led to the activation of caspase-8, caspase-9, and caspase-3 and the cleavage of poly(ADP-ribose)-polymerase(PARP). Evodiamine targeted the MAPK and/or PI3K/Akt pathways by reducing the expression and activity of PI3 K, Akt, and extracellular signal-regulated kinase mitogen-activated protein kinase(ERK1/2 MAPK)and the activity of p38 MAPK.CONCLUSION: Evodiamine can inhibit the growth of ovarian cancer cells by G2/M arrest and intrinsic and extrinsic apoptosis. 3Preparation of an amphoteric flocculant having both high polymer content and low viscosity and its polymerization kinetics显示文摘It is not easy for liquid cationic flocculant diallyldimethyl-ammonium chloride(DM) homopolymer to simultaneously exhibit both low viscosity and high polymer content, which limited its application in offshore oilfield.In this paper, sodium allylsulfonate(XS) and sodium formate were used in the aqueous solution polymerization of DM.An amphoteric flocculant(PDMXS) with the properties of high polymer content(about 55 wt%) and low viscosity(efflux time measured by an Apply 4 viscometer was less than 100 s) was prepared.The optimum reaction conditions were identified as follows: the mass ratio of XS/DM was 10 wt%, the concentration of sodium formate was 2000 mg·L^(-1), reaction temperature was 55 ℃, the concentration of KPS was 0.5 wt% and the reaction time was 4 h.The polymerization kinetics was discussed.The results showed that R_p∝ [M]^(1.97)[I]^(0.68)[CTA]^(0.71) and the apparent activation energy was 72.55 kJ·mol^(-1).Shenwen Fang Manlin Wang Zipei Xu Lei Zhai Xiujun Wang Yan Xiong 2019Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2019,27,1:3

13Achieving high thermoelectric performance through carrier concentration optimization and energy filtering in Cu_(3)SbSe_(4)-based materials显示文摘The previous works commonly adjust the carrier concentration through acceptor doping,but at the same time,the decrease of the Seebeck coefficient limits the further improvement of electrical properties in Cu_(3)SbSe_(4)-based materials.In this work,a microwave-assisted hydrothermal synthesis method was used to synthesize Cu_(3)SbSe_(4)/TiO_(2) hollow microspheres.Part of TiO_(2) participates in the reaction,replaces the Sb site of Cu_(3)SbSe_(4) to form holes,and the rest is dispersed in the matrix in the form of the second phase.The first-principles calculations reveal that the doping of Ti significantly changes the band structure and phonon spectrum,thereby regulating carrier concentration while increasing phonon scattering.In addition,experimental results show that the energy filtering effect generated by the extra-mixed TiO_(2) nano particles,which suppresses the decrease of Seebeck coefficient by acceptor doping.Consequently,the highest average power factor 897.5 mW m^(-1) K^(-2) and the zT peak value of 0.70 can be obtained in Cu_(3)SbSe_(4)/6%TiO_(2) sample at 298e623 K.This work provides a new sight to improve the thermoelectric properties in Cu_(3)SbSe_(4) through carrier concentration regulation and nano-phase composition.Sitong Wei Boyi Wang Zipei Zhang Wenhao Li Lu Yu Shikai Wei Zhen Ji Weiyu Song Shuqi Zheng 2022Journal of Materiomics2022,8,5:1
