| 1 | Crystal structures and thermal decomposition kinetics of lanthanide complexes with 3,4,5-trimethoxybenzoic acid and 1,10-phenanthroline显示文摘A series of lanthanide complexes with the 3,4,5-trimethoxybenzoic acid(3,4,5-tmoba) and 1,10-phenanthroline(phen),[Ln(3,4,5-tmoba) 3 phen] 2(Ln = Pr(1),Nd(2) and Ho(3)),have been synthesized and characterized by a series of techniques including elemental analysis,IR spectra,X-ray crystallography and TG/DSC-FTIR technology.The three complexes have two kinds of coordination modes,in which the Pr 3+ and Nd 3+ cations are nine-coordinated and the Ho 3+ cation is eight-coordinated.The three-dimensional IR accumulation spectra of gaseous products for complexes 1-3 were analyzed and the gaseous products were identified by the typical IR spectra obtained from the 3D surface graphs.Meanwhile,we obtained the activation energy E of the first steps of complexes 1-3 by the integral isoconversional non-linear(NL-INT) method and discussed the non-isothermal kinetics of complexes 1-3 using the Malek method.Finally,SB(m,n) was defined as the kinetic method of the first-step thermal decomposition.The thermodynamic parameters △G≠,△H≠ and △S≠ of activation at the peak temperature were also calculated. | TANG Kun ZHANG JianJun REN Ning ZHENG JunRu LIU JingYu WU KeZhong | 2012 | Science China Chemistry2012,55,7: | 6 |
| 2 | Numerical simulation of the effect of lower positive charge region in thunderstorms on different types of lightning显示文摘Combined with the existing stochastic lightning parameterization scheme, a classic tripole charge structure in thunderstorms is assumed in the paper, and then 2-dimensional fine-resolution lighting discharge simulations are performed to quantitatively investigate the effect of lower positive charge(LPC) on different types of lightning. The results show:(1) The LPC plays a key role in generating negative cloud-to-ground(CG) flashes and inverted intra-cloud(IC) lightning, and with the increase of charge density or distribution range of LPC region, lightning type changes from positive polarity IC lightning to negative CG flashes and then to inverted IC lightning.(2) Relative to distribution range of charge regions, the magnitude of charge density of the LPC region plays a dominant role in lightning type. Only when the maximal charge density value of LPC region is within a certain range, can negative CG flashes occur, and the occurrence probability is relatively fixed.(3) In this range, the charge density and distribution range of LPC region jointly determine the occurrence of negative CG flashes, which has a linear boundary with the trigger condition of IC lightning.(4) The common effect of charge density and distribution range of the LPC region is to change the distribution of positive potential well of bottom part of thunderstorms, and inverted IC lightning occurs when the initial reference potential is close to 0 MV, and negative CG flashes occur when the initial reference potential is far less than 0 MV. | TAN YongBo LIANG ZhongWu SHI Zheng ZHU JunRu GUO XiuFeng | 2014 | Science China Earth Sciences2014,57,9: | 5 |
| 3 | Determining the optimal time for bortezomib-based induction chemotherapy followed by autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplant in the treatment of multiple myeloma显示文摘In our study, we determined the efficacy of bortezomib-based induction therapy followed by autologous stem cell transplant (ASCT) in newly diagnosed and relapsed/refractory (R/R) multiple myeloma (MM) patients and compared the advantages of early versus late transplant. We used a retrospective analysis to examine 62 patients, including 46 cases of newly diagnosed MM (early transplant group) and 16 cases of relapsed/refractory MM (late transplant group). All of these patients received bortezomib-based induction therapy followed by ASCT. The efficacy and side effects of the treatment regimen were analyzed. Patients' overall survival (OS) and progression-free survival (PFS) times were determined. The ratio of complete remission to near-complete remission (CR/nCR) was 69.5% versus 56.2% (P=0.361), respectively, for the early transplant group versus the late transplant group, respectively, after receiving bortezomib-based induction therapy; the overall response rates of the two group were 91.3% and 81.2%, respectively (P=0.369). After receiving ASCT, the CR/nCR of the two groups increased to 84.8% and 81.3%, respectively. The median time required for neutrophil engraftment of the early transplant group and the late transplant group was 11 and 14.5 days, respectively (P=0.003); the median time required for platelet engraftment was 13 and 21.5 days (P=0.031), respectively. There were no significant differences in the toxic side effects observed during induction therapy and ASCT between the two groups. The OS of the two groups was not statistically different (P=0.058). The PFS of the early transplant group and the late transplant group was 41.6 and 26.5 months, respectively (P=0.008). Multivariate analysis demonstrated that the time of receiving ASCT, the types of M protein, and the International Staging System (ISS) stage were all independent factors that influenced PFS. To this end, this paper proposes a novel priority-aware frequency domain polling medium access control(MAC) protocol, which takes advantage of an orthogonal frequency-division multiple access(OFDMA)physical layer to achieve instantaneous priority-aware polling.Based on the polling result, the proposed work then optimizes the resource allocation of the OFDMA network to further improve the data reliability. Due to the non-polynomial-complete nature of the OFDMA resource allocation, we propose two heuristic rules,based on which an efficient solution algorithm to the OFDMA resource allocation problem is designed.
