Vertical structure and seasonal variation of tidal and residual currents in the northern Huanghai Sea显示文摘Analysis of tidal current and sea level has been made based on the observations from the summer of 2006 to the winter of 2007,respectively.The result indicates that a two-layer structure of residual current exists in summer, with its upper layer going northwestward and the lower layer southeastward. In addition, some strong residuals exist in the neighboring depth of the pycnocline during the current period of astronomical tide.In winter, except some individual layersthe residual currents mostly direct to the northwest, from which we can see the fluctuation of abnormal sea-level and the appearance of associated current because of the changes of the wind field. The analysis of tidal ellipse indicates that the direction of the maximum semidiurnal component is clockwise from summer to winter, with an angle of 16-18.Moreover,in summer the semidiurnal component rotates with depth clockwise while the diurnal component counterclockwise. However, the vertical structure is almost homogeneous in winter. | SONG Jun GUO Junru QIAO Lulu MU Lin YAO Zhigang LIU Yang LI Huan BAO Xianwen SUN Xiaoyan GAO Jia | 2011 | Acta Oceanologica Sinica2011,30,5: | 4
Definition of water exchange zone between the Bohai Sea and Yellow Sea and the effect of winter gale on it显示文摘The marine dynamic environment of the Bohai Sea and the Yellow Sea in the winter of 2006 is simulated by the Regional Ocean Modelling System(ROMS) marine numerical model. Using the simulated temperature and salinity, the water exchange zone between the Bohai Sea and Yellow Sea is defined through the Spectral Mixture Model(SMM). The influence of winter gales on the water exchange is also discussed. It is found that the Yellow Sea water masses in winter are distributed in a 'tongue' shape in the Bohai Strait region, the water exchange zone presents a zonal distribution along the margin of the 'tongue', with a tendency of running from northwest to southeast, and the water exchange is intensified at the tip of the 'tongue'. Besides, the coastal area in the northernmost Yellow Sea does not participate in the water exchange between the Bohai Sea and Yellow Sea. The result shows that the winter gale events play a role in enhancing the water exchange. It is specifically shown by the facts: the Yellow Sea warm current is enhanced to intrude the Bohai Sea by the gale process; the water exchange zone extends into the Bohai Sea; the water exchange belt in the southern part becomes wider; the mixture zone of river runoff with the Bohai Sea water upon its entry is enlarged and shifts northwards. Within two days after the gale process, the exchange zone retreats toward the Yellow Sea and the exchange zone resulted from the Huanghe River(Yellow River) runoff also shrinks back shoreward. | SONG Jun GUO Junru LI Jing MU Lin LIU Yulong WANG Guosong LI Yan LI Huan | 2017 | Acta Oceanologica Sinica2017,36,1: | 2
Characterization of a Novel Weak Allele of RGA1/D1 and Its Potential Application in Rice Breeding显示文摘Semi-dwarfing improves the lodging resistance and yield of rice, and the vast majority of modern rice varieties harbor the sd1 allele to decrease plant height, resulting in reduced genetic diversity and negative agronomic traits. Thus, exploring alternative sources of dwarfism is imperative for rice breeding. Here,we identified a novel RGA1 allele,d1-w,from a local indica variety Xiaolixiang(XLX)using a map-based cloning approach.Compared with other rice varieties,RGA1 in XLX contained a unique single nucleotide polymorphism that resulted in an additional transcript and reduced functional RGA1 transcript level. The RGA1 from Nipponbare was introduced into XLX to estimate the value of d1-w in rice breeding.Compared with transgenic XLX plants(XLX^(D1)),XLX exhibited reduced plant height, increased stem strength, lower reactive oxygen species accumulation, delayed senescence, stronger photosynthesis, higher grain yield and quality(including external, milling and nutritional qualities),and enhanced resistance to drought and Rhizoctonia solani. Therefore,we proposed that the d1-w allele has potential as an excellent dwarfism resource for rice breeding. | LIU Yantong LI Ting JIANG Zhishu ZENG Chuihai HE Rong QIU Jiao LIN Xiaoli PENG Limei SONG Yongping ZHOU Dahu CAI Yicong ZHU Changlan FU Junru HE Haohua XU Jie | 2022 | Rice science2022,29,6: | 2
Progress of the NTSC-F1 primary frequency standard显示文摘The SI 'second'is realized by caesium primary frequency standards( PFSs) using laser cooled atoms in a fountain configuration. Four sub systems and operation procedure of the NTSC-F1 primary frequency standard are introduced in the paper. The frequency stability of NTSC-F1 is 3.0×10-13/ τ-1 / 2compared to hydrogen maser. Four terms of frequency shift and uncertainty including second order Zeeman frequency shift, cold collision shift, gravity shift and blackbody shift are evaluated. | 5 | A Priority-aware Frequency Domain Polling MAC Protocol for OFDMA-based Networks in Cyber-physical Systems显示文摘Wireless networking in cyber-physical systems(CPSs) is characteristically different from traditional wireless systems due to the harsh radio frequency environment and applications that impose high real-time and reliability constraints. One of the fundamental considerations for enabling CPS networks is the medium access control protocol. To this end, this paper proposes a novel priority-aware frequency domain polling medium access control(MAC) protocol, which takes advantage of an orthogonal frequency-division multiple access(OFDMA)physical layer to achieve instantaneous priority-aware polling.Based on the polling result, the proposed work then optimizes the resource allocation of the OFDMA network to further improve the data reliability. Due to the non-polynomial-complete nature of the OFDMA resource allocation, we propose two heuristic rules, based on which an efficient solution algorithm to the OFDMA resource allocation problem is designed. Simulation results show that the reliability performance of CPS networks is significantly improved because of this work. | Meng Zheng Junru Lin Wei Liang Haibin Yu | 2015 | IEEE/CAA Journal of Automatica Sinica2015,2,4: | 1
High-throughput fat quantifications of hematoxylin-eosin stained liver histopathological images based on pixel-wise clustering显示文摘Besides diagnosis of fatty liver disease(FLD) using multiple medical imaging techniques in clinic, accurate fat quantification of liver tissue slice, especially the fat droplets measurement, is still a critical indicator in related pathological researches. Stained by hematoxylin-eosin(HE), different tissue components with different colors need to be identified and measured manually in conventional approaches. Automated liver fat quantification of HE stained images remains challenging because forms and distributions of fat are extremely irregular with no clear boundaries, especially in conducting high-throughput analysis which demands quick processing and higher accuracy for the reference of pathologists. To solve this problem, we propose an automated liver fat quantifications pipeline of HE stained images based on pixel-wise clustering, which firstly extracts high-relevant pixel-level features with color mode transformation, then locates boundaries between nuclei, fat and other components by clustering image pixels in an unsupervised mode, and finally identifies indicative fat droplets based on a set of morphological criteria. The pipeline was verified in analysis of multifold fatty liver treatment assays, with experimental results showing high accuracy and adaptability in fat droplets quantification despite data variance. Quantitative indicators provide a reliable evidence for relevant pathological researches or therapy selection, in which number and average area of indicative fat droplets increased sharply in severe and moderate-grade FLD respectively. Those indicators might be utilized as surrogate biomarkers for further researches. | Peng SHI Junru CHEN Jinke LIN Lurong ZHANG | 2017 | Science China(Information Sciences)2017,60,9: | 1
