1African Swine Fever Virus MGF360-12L Inhibits Type Ⅰ Interferon Production by Blocking the Interaction of Importin α and NF-κB Signaling Pathway显示文摘African swine fever(ASF)is an infectious transboundary disease of domestic pigs and wild boar and spreading throughout Eurasia.There is no vaccine and treatment available.Complex immune escape strategies of African swine fever virus(ASFV)are crucial factors affecting immune prevention and vaccine development.MGF360 genes have been implicated in the modulation of the IFN-Ⅰresponse.The molecular mechanisms contributing to innate immunity are poorly understood.In this study,we demonstrated that ASFV MGF360-12 L(MGF360 families 12 L protein)significantly inhibited the mRNA transcription and promoter activity of IFN-βand NF-κB,accompanied by decreases of IRF3,STING,TBK1,ISG54,ISG56 and AP-1 m RNA transcription.Also,MGF360-12 L might suppress the nuclear localization of p50 and p65 mediated by classical nuclear localization signal(NLS).Additionally,MGF360-12 L could interact with KPNA2,KPNA3,and KPNA4,which interrupted the interaction between p65 and KPNA2,KPNA3,KPNA4.We further found that MGF360-12 L could interfere with the NF-κB nuclear translocation by competitively inhibiting the interaction between NF-κB and nuclear transport proteins.These findings suggested that MGF360-12 L could inhibit the IFN-Ⅰproduction by blocking the interaction of importinαand NF-κB signaling pathway,which might reveal a novel strategy for ASFV to escape the host innate immune response.Yisha Zhuo Zeheng Guo Tongtong Ba Cheng Zhang Lihua He Cuiping Zeng Hanchuan Dai 2021Virologica Sinica2021,36,2:21
2Mineral photoelectrons and their implications for the origin and early evolution of life on Earth显示文摘Energy is the key issue of all life activities.The energy source and energy yielding pathway are the key scientific issues of the origin and early evolution of life on Earth.Current researches indicate that the utilization of solar energy in large scale by life was an important breaking point of the early evolution of life on Earth and afterwards life gradually developed and flourished.However,in the widespread biochemical electron transfer of life activities,it is still not clear whether the electron source is sun or how electrons originated from sun.For billions of years,the ubiquitous semiconducting minerals in epigeosphere absorb solar energy,forming photoelectrons and photoholes.In reductive and weak acidic environment of early Earth,when photoholes were easily scavenged by reducing matters,photoelectrons were separated.Photoelectrons could effectively reduce carbon dioxide to organic matters,possibly providing organic matter foundation for the origin of life.Photoelectrons participated in photoelectron transfer chains driven by potential difference and transfer into primitive cells to maintain metabolisms.Semiconducting minerals,by absorbing ultraviolet,also protected primitive cells from being damaged by ultraviolet in the origin of life.Due to the continuous photoelectrons generation in semiconducting minerals and utilization by primitive cells,photoelectrons from semiconducting minerals’photocatalysis played multiple roles in the origin of life on early Earth,such as organic synthesis,cell protection,and energy supply.This mechanism still plays important roles in modern Earth surface systems.LU AnHuai WANG Xin LI Yan DING HongRui WANG ChangQiu ZENG CuiPing HAO RuiXia YANG XiaoXue 2014Science China Earth Sciences2014,57,5:5

4Photoelectrochemical performance of birnessite films and photoelectrocatalytic activity toward oxidation of phenol显示文摘Birnessite films on fluorine-doped tin oxide(FTO) coated glass were prepared by cathodic reduction of aqueous KMnO_4. The deposited birnessite films were characterized with X-ray diffraction, Raman spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy and atomic force microscopy.The photoelectrochemical activity of birnessite films was investigated and a remarkable photocurrent in response to visible light was observed in the presence of phenol, resulting from localized manganese d–d transitions. Based on this result, the photoelectrocatalytic oxidation of phenol was investigated. Compared with phenol degradation by the electrochemical oxidation process or photocatalysis separately, a synergetic photoelectrocatalytic degradation effect was observed in the presence of the birnessite film coated FTO electrode.Photoelectrocatalytic degradation ratios were influenced by film thickness and initial phenol concentrations. Phenol degradation with the thinnest birnessite film and initial phenol concentration of 10 mg/L showed the highest efficiency of 91.4% after 8 hr. 11Epidemiological Investigation and Analysis of Major Viral Diseases of Pig Farms in Guangxi from 2019 to 2022显示文摘In order to understand the epidemic characteristics of major viral infectious diseases of pig farms in Guangxi from 2019 to 2022,the PCR and RT-PCR methods were applied to detect the pathogens of 1046 samples suspected CSFV(swine fever virus),PRRSV(porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus),PCV-2(porcine circovirus virus type 2),PCV-3(porcine circovirus virus type 3),PRV(pseudorabies virus),TGEV(transmissible gastroeneritis of pigs virus),PEDV(porcine epidemic diarrhea virus)and PoRV(porcine rotavirus)infections in recent four years,and epidemiological analysis was carried out.The results showed that positive rates of CSFV,PRRSV,PCV-2,PCV-3,PRV,TGEV,PEDV and PoRV were 3.91%(21/537),20.46%(143/699),29.90%(116/388),16.10%(81/503),27.75%(121/436),2.10%(8/381),28.50%(61/214)and 13.74%(18/131).The infection rates of PCV-2 and PEDV were decreasing year by year,while the infection rate of TGEV was increasing year by year.In single infection,the infection rates of PRV and PEDV were higher,with an average infection rate of 13.53%and 18.22%.In the mixed infection,the infection rate of PRRSV and PCV-2 was the highest,with an average infection rate of 11.34%.The second mixed infection rate was PEDV and PoRV,and the average infection rate was 8.05%.The infection rate of PCV-3 and PEDV was higher in spring,with 18.80%and 40.00%respectively.The infection rate of PRRSV,PCV-2,PRV,TGEV and PoRV was higher in winter,with 24.40%,40.57%,37.30%,3.23%and 19.44%respectively.The results showed that PRRSV,PCV-2,PRV and PEDV were the main viral diseases with serious damage to pig farms in Guangxi.It was necessary to strengthen pathogen monitoring and improve comprehensive prevention and control ability,in order to reduce the incidence of disease and economic losses.Bi ZHANG Cuiping YUAN Changliang LIANG Jiajia ZENG Yuyi MA Huili HE 2023Meteorological and Environmental Research2023,14,3:0
12Degradation of antipyrine in the Fenton-like process with a La-doped heterogeneous catalyst显示文摘The aim of this study was to synthesize a novel lanthanum(La)doped catalyst and to investigate antipyrine removal in wastewater using the Fenton-like process with the catalyst.The La-doped Co-Cu-Fe catalyst was synthesized using the modified hydrothermal method.Results showed that the Ladoped catalyst had higher specific surface area and lower particle size than the catalyst without La doping(i.e.,the control)(267 vs.163 m2/g and 14 vs.32 nm,respectively).Under the conditions of catalyst dosage 0.5 g/L,H2O2 concentration 1.70 g/L,and NaHCO3 0.1g/L,the antipyrine removal within 60 min using the Fenton-like process with the La-doped catalyst was much higher than that with the control(95%vs.54%).The hydroxyl radical concentration with the La-doped catalyst within 60 min was two times higher than that with the control(49.2 vs.22.1 gg/L).The high catalytic activity of La-doped catalyst was mainly attributed to its high specific surface area based on the X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy result.Our La-doped catalyst should have great potential to remove antipyrine in wastewater using the heterogeneous Fenton-like process.Shicheng Wei Cuiping Zeng Yaobin Lu Guangli Liu Haiping Luo Renduo Zhang 2019Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2019,13,5:0
13Pesticide wastewater treatment using the combination of the microbial electrolysis desalination and chemical-production cell and Fenton process显示文摘The combination of the microbial electrolysis desalination and chemical-production cell(MEDCC)and Fenton process for the pesticide wastewater treatment was investigate in this study.Real wastewater with several toxic pesticides,1633 mg/L COD,and 200 in chromaticity was used for the investigation.Results showed that desalination in the desalination chamber of MEDCC reached 78%.Organics with low molecular weights in the desalination chamber could be removed from the desalination chamber,resulting in 28%and 23%of the total COD in the acid-production and cathode chambers,respectively.The desalination in the desalination chamber and organic transfer contributed to removal of pesticides(e.g.,triadimefon),which could not be removed with other methods,and of the organics with low molecular weights.The COD in the effluent of the MEDCC combined the Fenton process was much lower than that in the perixo-coagulaiton process(<150 vs.555 mg/L).The combined method consumed much less energy and acid for the pH adjustment than that the Fenton.Songwei Lin Yaobin Lu Bo Ye Cuiping Zeng Guangli Liu Jieling Li Haiping Luo Renduo Zhang 2020Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2020,14,1:0
14How Did Poverty Reduction in China Contribute to theWorld?Viewing from the Implementation of the UN MDGs and SDGs显示文摘Countries all over the world are highly concerned about poverty.Both the Millennium Development Goals(MDGs)and Sustainable Development Goals(SDGs)of the United Nations set ending poverty and hunger as their top priority.Whether in its own modernization drive or in the implementation of the United Nations’MDGs and SDGs,the Chinese Government has always attached great importance to poverty issues,and actively explored measures to reduce poverty.This paper is designed to use relevant statistics to sum up China’s achievements and experience in implementing the MDGs so as to provide a policy basis for poverty reduction in China and beyond.This paper discovers that China’s achievements in poverty reduction involve four aspects:Eliminating hunger ahead of schedule,improving people’s nutritional status,enhancing food security and laying a solid foundation for sustainable agricultural development;China’s experience in poverty reduction includes the following:the government had paid high attention;economic development had served as the key to solve all problems;the development had been guided by planning and guaranteed by policies and regulations;the market mechanism had played its due role;emphasis had been placed on the pilot projects and step-by-step promotion strategy,as well as on development cooperation and experience exchanges.The Chinese Government had formulated specific plans to achieve the poverty reduction targets set in the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.Besides,the Rural Revitalization Strategy proposed by the Chinese Government in 2017 has become the essential strategy to solve the poverty-related issues in China’s development.GAO Liangliang MA Cuiping ZENG Junxia WANG Bin LI Yue 2019Chinese Journal of Urban and Environmental Studies2019,7,1:0
15Preparation and Characterization of PEDOT Films for NO_2 Gas Sensors显示文摘A novel NO_2 gas sensor was constructed by depositing poly(3,4-ethylenedioxyphioen)(PEDOT)films on the surface of interdigital electrodes.The conducting polymer PEDOT films were prepared by chemical synthesis.The conductibility tests indicated that the resistances of PEDOT films increased with the increase of NO_2 concentration.The mechanism of increasing resistance of PEDOT films could be suggested that electrons of NO_2-gas acted as the electron donor to p-type semiconductor of PEDOT with the consequence of reducing the numbers of holes in the PEDOT and the increase resistance of the thin film.The linear relationship between the shift of resistance and the concentration of NO_2 existed in a range from 10μg/g to 30μg/g.The sensitivity of PEDOT films to NO_2 was 10Ω/10^(-6).Hongjuan Zeng Yadong Jiang Guangzhong Xie Junsheng Yu Cuiping Chen 2006稀有金属材料与工程2006,35,A03:0
16Low-cost FPGA implementation of 2D digital pre-distorter for concurrent dual-band power amplifier显示文摘This paper proposes a low-cost hardware architecture based on concurrent dual-band digital pre-distorter(DPD). The architecture is implemented on field programmable gate array(FPGA) to compensate for the nonlinearity of the concurrent dual-band power amplifier(PA). This implementation introduces a novel model complexity reduction technique into system, namely, time-division multiplexing for out-of-band lookup tables(LUTs) sharing. Performances are evaluated with an experimental test setup using a wideband class-F PA. The dual-band signal center frequency separated by 80 MHz. Lower and upper center frequency are located at 2.61 GHz and 2.69 GHz, respectively. This novel DPD implementation maintains excellent performance, but uses hardware resources reduced by 29.17% compared with conventional approaches. 17Angle-independent responsive organogel retroreflective structural color film for colorimetric sensing of humidity and organic vapors显示文摘The angle dependence of photonic crystals(PCs)dramatically limits their practical applications in the colorimetrical sensing of humidity and volatile organic compound(VOC)vapors.In addition,it is challenging for inverse opal PCs to colorimetrically distinguish between vapors with similar refractive indices.Different from the mechanism of PC-based sensors,here,we report an angle-independent polyacrylamide(PAAm)organogel structural color film based on the mechanisms of retroreflection,total internal reflection(TIR)and interference with a shape similar to a single-sided“egg waffle”.During the process of responding to humidity and VOC vapors,the color of the film remains angle-independent in the normal angle range of 0°to 45°under coaxial illumination and observation conditions.At the same time,the film can colorimetrically distinguish between vapors with similar refractive indices,such as methanol and ethanol,which is mainly due to the differences in their polarity and solubility parameters.The film shows good stability,reversibility and selectivity when exposed to vapors.A colorimetric sensor with a new response mechanism is proposed and has the potential to effectively distinguish between vapors with similar refractive indices.Furthermore,this responsive retroreflective structural color film(RRSCF)provides a universal strategy to develop targeted angle-independent structural color sensors by selecting optimized materials.Cuiping Ji Jing Zeng Sijia Qin Min Chen Limin Wu 2021Chinese Chemical Letters2021,32,11:0
