2In vivo flow cytometry reveals a circadian rhythm of circulating tumor cells显示文摘Circulating tumor cells(CTCs)is an established biomarker of cancer metastasis.The circulation dynamics of CTCs are important for understanding the mechanisms underlying tumor cell dissemination.Although studies have revealed that the circadian rhythm may disrupt the growth of tumors,it is generally unclear whether the circadian rhythm controls the release of CTCs.In clinical examinations,the current in vitro methods for detecting CTCs in blood samples are based on a fundamental assumption that CTC counts in the peripheral blood do not change significantly over time,which is being challenged by recent studies.Since it is not practical to draw blood from patients repeatedly,a feasible strategy to investigate the circadian rhythm of CTCs is to monitor them by in vivo detection methods.Fluoresce nee in vivo flow cytometry(IVFC)is a powerful optical technique that is able to detect fluoresce nt circulating cells directly in living animals in a noninvasive manner over a long period of time.In this study,we applied fluorescence IVFC to monitor CTCs noninvasively in an orthotopic mouse model of human prostate cancer.We observed that CTCs exhibited stochastic bursts over cancer progression.The probability of the bursting activity was higher at early stages than at late stages.We longitudinally monitored CTCs over a 24-h period,and our results revealed striking daily oscillations in CTC counts that peaked at the onset of the night(active phase for rodents),suggesting that the release of CTCs might be regulated by the circadian rhythm.Xi Zhu Yuanzhen Suo Yuting Fu Fuli Zhang Nan Ding Kai Pang Chengying Xie Xiaofu Weng Meilu Tian Hao He Xunbin Wei 2021Light(Science & Applications)2021,10,6:6

4Chemical formation and source apportionment of PM_(2.5) at an urban site at the southern foot of the Taihang mountains显示文摘The region along the Taihang Mountains in the North China Plain(NCP) is characterized by serious fine particle pollution. To clarify the formation mechanism and controlling factors, an observational study was conducted to investigate the physical and chemical properties of the fine particulate matter in Jiaozuo city, China. Mass concentrations of the water-soluble ions(WSIs) in PM_(2.5) and gaseous pollutant precursors were measured on an hourly basis from December 1, 2017, to February 27, 2018. The positive matrix factorization(PMF) method and the FLEXible PARTicle(FLEXPART) model were employed to identify the sources of PM_(2.5). The results showed that the average mass concentration of PM_(2.5) was 111 μg/m^(3) during the observation period. Among the major WSIs, sulfate, nitrate, and ammonium(SNA) constituted 62% of the total PM_(2.5) mass, and NO_(3)^(-) ranked the highest with an average contribution of 24.6%. NH_(4)^(+) was abundant in most cases in Jiaozuo. According to chemical balance analysis, SO_(2)-4, NO_(3)^(-), and Cl^(-) might be present in the form of(NH_4)_(2)SO_4, NH_4NO_3, NH_4Cl, and KCl. The liquid-phase oxidation of SO_(2) and NO_(2) was severe during the haze period. The relative humidity and pH were the key factors influencing SO_(4)^(2-) formation. We found that NO_(3)^(-) mainly stemmed from homogeneous gas-phase reactions in the daytime and originated from the hydrolysis of N_(2)O_5 in the nighttime, which was inconsistent with previous studies. 5Microglia modulation with 1070-nm light attenuates Aβ burden and cognitive impairment in Alzheimer’s disease mouse model显示文摘Photobiomodulation,by utilizing low-power light in the visible and near-infrared spectra to trigger biological responses in cells and tissues,has been considered as a possible therapeutic strategy for Alzheimer’s disease(AD),while its specific mechanisms have remained elusive.Here,we demonstrate that cognitive and memory impairment in an AD mouse model can be ameliorated by 1070-nm light via reducing cerebralβ-amyloid(Aβ)burden,the hallmark of AD.The glial cells,including microglia and astrocytes,play important roles in Aβclearance.Our results show that 1070-nm light pulsed at 10 Hz triggers microglia rather than astrocyte responses in AD mice.The 1070-nm lightinduced microglia responses with alteration in morphology and increased colocalization with Aβare sufficient to reduce Aβload in AD mice.Moreover,1070-nm light pulsed at 10 Hz can reduce perivascular microglia and promote angiogenesis to further enhance Aβclearance.Our study confirms the important roles of microglia and cerebral vessels in the use of 1070-nm light for the treatment of AD mice and provides a framework for developing a novel therapeutic approach for AD.Lechan Tao Qi Liu Fuli Zhang Yuting Fu Xi Zhu Xiaofu Weng Hongbin Han Yong Huang Yuanzhen Suo Liang Chen Xiaoling Gao Xunbin Wei 2021Light(Science & Applications)2021,10,10:4

7Surface sulfur vacancies enhanced electron transfer over Co-ZnS quantum dots for efficient degradation of plasticizer micropollutants by peroxymonosulfate activation显示文摘Peroxymonosulfate(PMS)activation in heterogeneous processes is a promising water treatment technology.Nevertheless,the high energy consumption and low efficiency during the reaction are ineluctable,due to electron cycling rate limitation.Herein,a new strategy is proposed based on a quantum dots(QDs)/PMS system.Co-ZnS QDs are synthesized by a water phase coprecipitation method.The inequivalent lattice-doping of Co for Zn leads to the generation of surface sulfur vacancies(SVs),which modulates the surface of the catalyst to form an electronic nonequilibrium surface.Astonishingly,the plasticizer micropollutants can be completely degraded within only tens of seconds in the Co-Zn S QDs/PMS system due to this type of surface modulation.The interfacial reaction mechanism is revealed that pollutants tend to be adsorbed on the cobalt metal sites as the electron donors,where the internal electrons of pollutants are captured by the metal species and transferred to the surface SVs.Meanwhile,PMS adsorbed on the SVs is reduced to radicals by capturing electrons,achieving effective electron recovery.Dissolved oxygen(DO)molecules are also easily attracted to catalyst defects and are reduced to O_(2)^(·-),further promoting the degradation of pollutants.Yuting Gu Tingting Gao Fagen Zhang Chao Lu Wenrui Cao Ziwei Fu Chun Hu Lai Lyu 2022Chinese Chemical Letters2022,33,8:2

9Identification of Rice Leaf Disease Using Improved ShuffleNet V2显示文摘Accurate identification of rice diseases is crucial for controlling diseases and improving rice yield.To improve the classification accuracy of rice diseases,this paper proposed a classification and identification method based on an improved ShuffleNet V2(GE-ShuffleNet)model.Firstly,the Ghost module is used to replace the 1×1 convolution in the two basic unit modules of ShuffleNet V2,and the unimportant 1×1 convolution is deleted from the two basic unit modules of ShuffleNet V2.The Hardswish activation function is applied to replace the ReLU activation function to improve the identification accuracy of the model.Secondly,an effective channel attention(ECA)module is added to the network to avoid dimension reduction,and the correlation between channels is effectively extracted through 1D convolution.Besides,L2 regularization is introduced to fine-tune the training parameters during training to prevent overfitting.Finally,the considerable experimental and numerical results proved the advantages of our proposed model in terms of model size,floating-point operation per second(FLOPs),and parameters(Params).Especially in the case of smaller model size(5.879 M),the identification accuracy of GE-ShuffleNet(96.6%)is higher than that of ShuffleNet V2(94.4%),MobileNet V2(93.7%),AlexNet(79.1%),Swim Transformer(88.1%),EfficientNet V2(89.7%),VGG16(81.9%),GhostNet(89.3%)and ResNet50(92.5%).Yang Zhou Chunjiao Fu Yuting Zhai Jian Li Ziqi Jin Yanlei Xu 2023Computers, Materials & Continua2023,,5:1

12Transport Patterns and Potential Sources of Atmospheric Pollution during the ⅩⅩⅣ Olympic Winter Games Period显示文摘The attainment of suitable ambient air quality standards is a matter of great concern for successfully hosting the ⅩⅩⅣ Olympic Winter Games(OWG). Transport patterns and potential sources of pollutants in Zhangjiakou(ZJK) were investigated using pollutant monitoring datasets and a dispersion model. The PM_(2.5) concentration during February in ZJK has increased slightly(28%) from 2018 to 2021, mostly owing to the shift of main potential source regions of west-central Inner Mongolia and Mongolian areas(2015–18) to the North China Plain and northern Shanxi Province(NCPS) after 2018.Using CO as an indicator, the relative contributions of the different regions to the receptor site(ZJK) were evaluated based on the source-receptor-relationship method(SRR) and an emission inventory. We found that the relative contribution of pollutants from NCPS increased from 33% to 68% during 2019–21. Central Inner Mongolia(CIM) also has an important impact on ZJK under unfavorable weather conditions. 13Shen-Qi-Wan Protects the Renal Peritubular Capillary Injury from Adenine-mediated Damage by Upregulating Aquaporin 1显示文摘Background:Shen-Qi-Wan(SQW),a commonly used prescription against chronic kidney disease(CKD)in Tradi-tional Chinese Medicine(TCM),has a nephroprotective action in adenine-induced kidney injury.However,the mechanism of SQW in renal injury remains unclear.Objective:This study was undertaken to measure the effect of SQW on peritubular capillary injury both in vivo and in vitro assays.Methods:The effect of SQW on the peritubular capillary injury was evaluated according to measuring hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal(HPA)function,inflammatory cytokines,VEGF(vascular endothelial growth fac-tor),CD34(Cluster of differentiation 34),and AQP1(Aquaporin 1)levels in the kidney,cell migration,and lumen forming capacity.Results:SQW supplementation could ameliorate dysfunction of the HPA and renal function loss induced by adenine.SQW also significantly inhibited the inflammatory cytokines including MCP-1(monocyte chemotactic protein-1)and VCAM-1(vascular cell adhesion molecule-1)level.Alternatively,SQW administration showed an ameliorating effect from the toxicity and alleviated the injury of capillaries around renal tubules instigated by adenine through increasing AQP1 mRNA and protein level.SQW medicated the serum enhanced the migration and lumen formation ability of HMEC-1 cells,and significantly increased AQP1 protein level.Moreover,AQP1 knockdown efficiently inhibited the migration and lumen formation ability in HMEC-1 cells,and weakened the effect of SQW medicated serum.Conclusion:These results suggested that SQW attenuated peritubular capillary injury in adenine-induced CKD model rats through boosting angiogenesis in endothelial cell,and AQP1 may be a potential target of SQW for treating the renal injury.Yuting Bao Yehui Zhang Yuanxiao Yang Xueming Chen Luning Lin Yunbo Fu Liting Ji Changyu Li 2022Clinical Complementary Medicine and Pharmacology2022,2,1:1
14Tuning Surface Spin Polarization of CoFeB by Boron Diffusion Detected by Spin Resolved Photoemission显示文摘Research of spin polarization of magnetic CoFeB thin films is of practical importance in spintronic applications.Here,using a direct characterization technique of spin-resolved photoemission spectroscopy,we obtain the surface spin polarization of amorphous Co_(40)Fe_(40)B_(20)thin films with different annealing temperatures from 100℃to 500℃prepared by magnetron sputtering.After high annealing temperature,a quasi-semiconductor state is gradually formed at the CoFeB surface due to the boron diffusion.While the global magnetization remains almost constant,the secondary electrons’spin polarization,average valence band spin polarization and the spin polarization at Fermi level from spin-resolved photoemission spectroscopy show a general trend of decreasing with the increasing annealing temperature above 100℃.These distinct surface properties are attributed to the enhanced Fe-B bonding due to the boron segregation upon surface after annealing as confirmed by x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and scanning transmission electron microscopy with energy dispersive spectroscopy.Our findings provide insight into the surface spin-resolved electronic structure of the CoFeB thin films,which should be important for development of high-performance magnetic random-access memories.Qi Liu Xianyang Lu Chengrui Fu Jiarui Chen Zhe Zhang Yuting Gong Xinyue Wang Yu Yan Qinwu Gao Hui Li Xuezhong Ruan Yao Li Jun Du Jing Wu Liang He Bo Liu Rong Zhang Yongbing Xu 2023Chinese Physics Letters2023,40,8:0

16Control Effect of UAV Low Volume Spray Technology on Thrips and Tomato Spotted Wilt Virus in Tobacco Field显示文摘[Objectives]The paper was to explore the influence of unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)low volume spray technology on the control effect of viruliferous thrips and tomato spotted wilt virus(TSWV)under different pesticide concentrations,and to explore the effective control nodes and methods of thrips and TSWV.[Methods]According to the occurrence characteristics of thrips and TSWV,the field control effects of 4 pesticides on thrips and TSWV were tested by UAV with the thrips number and disease index as indicators,following the principle of regional and periodic control trials.[Results]In the groups of UAV and artificial prevention and control,4 agents were used alternatively,including 1%emamectin benzoate ME,1.7%abamectin imidacloprid ME,5%emamectin benzoate WDG,and 30%pyriproxyfen dinotefuran SL.There was no significant difference in the control effect of thrips and TSWV among treatment 1(recommended dosage of UAV agent),treatment 2(reduction of recommended dosage of UAV agent by 25%)and treatment 4(recommended dosage of artificial control agent),and the control effects on thrips were more than 83.16%in the 3 treatments.The disease index of TSWV in the 3 treatments decreased from 8.64±1.37 in the blank control group to less than 3,which reached the prevention and control threshold.But treatment 3(reduction of recommended dosage of UAV agent by 50%)did not reach the prevention and control threshold.The disease index of TSWV in the blank control area increased with the increase of the number of live nymphs of thrips,and there was a significant positive correlation,with good fitness.[Conclusions]UAV has a significant impact on the control effect of thrips and TSWV under different pesticide concentrations.In the actual flight control application,it is recommended that the amount of the pesticides is about 3/4 and not less than 1/2 of that of the artificial application.The control area should be extended to 100 m of the ridge of the tobacco field,and UAV is used periodically to control thrips and TSWV for 5 times from pre-transplanting stage to pre-squaring stage of flue-cured tobacco.The control effect is significantly different from the traditional artificial application.Zefan LIU Dean XIE Jiabao HAN Yanfen XIE Li MA Siyuan GAO Ruiqi PENG Yuting ZHAO Xiangze FU Wengang CHENG Yonghong FENG Yan ZHANG Huaping ZHANG Ying HUANG Leijie DAI Lanfeng WANG 2023Plant Diseases and Pests2023,14,4:0
17Refractory black carbon aerosols in rainwater in the summer of 2019 in Beijing:Mass concentration,size distribution and wet scavenging ratio显示文摘Black carbon(BC)aerosols in the atmosphere play a significant role in climate systems due to their strong ability to absorb solar radiation.The lifetime of BC depends on atmospheric transport,aging and consequently on wet scavenging processes(in-cloud and below-cloud scavenging).In this study,sequential rainwater samples in eight rainfall events collected in 2 mm interval were measured by a tandem system including a single particle soot photometer(SP2)and a nebulizer.The results showed that the volume-weighted average(VWA)mass concentrations of refractory black carbon(rBC)in each rainfall event varied,ranging from 10.8 to 78.9μg/L.The highest rBC concentrations in the rainwater samples typically occurred in the first fraction from individual rainfall events.The geometric mean median mass-equivalent diameter(MMD)decreased under precipitation,indicating that rBC with larger sizes was relatively aged and preferentially removed by wet scavenging.A positive correlation(R2=0.73)between the VWA mass concentrations of rBC in rainwater and that in ambient air suggested the important contribution of scavenging process.Additionally,the contributions of in-cloud and below-cloud scavenging were distinguished and accounted for 74%and 26%to wet scavenging,respectively.The scavenging ratio of rBC particles was estimated to be 0.06 on average.This study provides helpful information for better understanding the mechanism of rBC wet scavenging and reducing the uncertainty of numerical simulations of the climate effects of rBC.Shandong Lei Baozhu Ge Hang Liu Jiannong Quan Danhui Xu Yuting Zhang Weijie Yao Lu Lei Yu Tian Qi Liao Xiaoyong Liu Jie Li Jinyuan Xin Yele Sun Pingqing Fu Junji Cao Zifa Wang Xiaole Pan 2023Journal of Environmental Sciences2023,,10:0

19Deployment Strategy for Multiple Controllers Based on the Aviation On-Board Software-Defined Data Link Network显示文摘In light of the escalating demand and intricacy of services in contemporary terrestrial,maritime,and aerial combat operations,there is a compelling need for enhanced service quality and efficiency in airborne cluster communication networks.Software-Defined Networking(SDN)proffers a viable solution for the multifaceted task of cooperative communication transmission and management across different operational domains within complex combat contexts,due to its intrinsic ability to flexibly allocate and centrally administer network resources.This study pivots around the optimization of SDN controller deployment within airborne data link clusters.A collaborative multi-controller architecture predicated on airborne data link clusters is thus proposed.Within this architectural framework,the controller deployment issue is reframed as a two-fold problem:subdomain partition-ing and central interaction node selection.We advocate a subdomain segmentation approach grounded in node value ranking(NDVR)and a central interaction node selection methodology predicated on an enhanced Artificial Fish Swarm Algorithm(AFSA).The advanced NDVR-AFSA(Node value ranking-Improved artificial fish swarm algorithm)algorithm makes use of a chaos algorithm for population initialization,boosting population diversity and circumventing premature algorithm convergence.By the integration of adaptive strategies and incorporation of the genetic algorithm’s crossover and mutation operations,the algorithm’s search range adaptability is enhanced,thereby increasing the possibility of obtaining globally optimal solutions,while concurrently augmenting cluster reliability.The simulation results verify the advantages of the NDVR-IAFSA algorithm,achieve a better load balancing effect,improve the reliability of aviation data link cluster,and significantly reduce the average propagation delay and disconnection rate,respectively,by 12.8%and 11.7%.This shows that the optimization scheme has important significance in practical application,and can meet the high requirements of modern sea,land,and air operations to aviation airborne communication networks.Yuting Zhu Yanfang Fu Yang Ce Pan Deng Jianpeng Zhu Huankun Su 2023Computers, Materials & Continua2023,77,12:0
20Mechanical properties of individual core-shell-structured Sn O2@C nanofibers investigated by atomic force microscopy and finite element method显示文摘Although SnO_2-based nanomaterials used to be considered as being extraordinarily versatile for application to nanosensors,microelectronic devices, lithium-ion batteries, supercapacitors and other devices, the functionalities of SnO_2-based nanomaterials are severely limited by their intrinsic vulnerabilities. Facile electrospinning was used to prepare SnO_2 nanofibers coated with a protective carbon layer. The mechanical properties of individual core-shell-structured SnO_2@C nanofibers were investigated by atomic force microscopy and the finite element method.
