1Recent progress of composite solid polymer electrolytes for all-solid-state lithium metal batteries显示文摘In comparison with lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)with liquid electrolytes,all-solid-state lithium batteries(ASSLBs)have been considered as promising systems for future energy storage due to their safety and high energy density.As the pivotal component used in ASSLBs,composite solid polymer electrolytes(CSPEs),derived from the incorporation of inorganic fillers into solid polymer electrolytes(SPEs),exhibit higher ionic conductivity,better mechanical strength,and superior thermal/electrochemical stability compared to the single-component SPEs,which can significantly promote the electrochemical performance of ASSLBs.Herein,the recent advances of CSPEs applied in ASSLBs are presented.The effects of the category,morphology and concentration of inorganic fillers on the ionic conductivity,mechanical strength,electrochemical window,interfacial stability and possible Li+transfer mechanism of CSPEs will be systematically discussed.Finally,the challenges and perspectives are proposed for the future development of high-performance CSPEs and ASSLBs.Qingjiang Yu Kecheng Jiang Cuiling Yu Xianjin Chen Chuanjian Zhang Yi Yao Bin Jiang Huijin Long 2021Chinese Chemical Letters2021,32,9:4

4Low-temperature superplasticity of β-stabilized Ti-43Al-9V-Y alloy sheet with bimodalγ-grain-size distribution显示文摘The superplasticity of Ti-43Al-9V-0.2Y alloy sheet hot-rolled at 1100℃was systematically investigated in the temperature range of 750-900℃under an initial strain rate of 10^(-4)s^(-1).A bimodalγgraindistribution microstructure of Ti Al alloy sheet,with abundant nano-scale or sub-micronγlaths embedded insideβmatrix,exhibits an impressive superplastic behaviour.This inhomogeneous microstructure shows low-temperature superplasticity with a strain-rate sensitivity exponent of m=0.27 at 800℃,which is the lowest temperature of superplastic deformation for Ti Al alloys attained so far.The maximum elongation reaches~360%at 900℃with an initial strain rate of 2.0×10^(-4)s^(-1).To elucidate the softening mechanism of the disorderedβphase during superplastic deformation,the changes of phase composition were investigated up to 1000℃using in situ high-temperature X-ray diffraction(XRD)in this study.The results indicate thatβphase does not undergo the transformation from an ordered L2;structure to a disordered A2 structure and cannot coordinate superplastic deformation as a lubricant.Based on the microstructural evolution and occurrence of bothγandβdynamic recrystallization(DR)after tensile tests as characterized with electron backscatter diffraction(EBSD),the superplastic deformation mechanism can be explained by the combination of DR and grain boundary slipping(GBS).In the early stage of superplastic deformation,DR is an important coordination mechanism as associated with the reduced cavitation and dislocation density with increasing tensile temperature.Sufficient DR can relieve stress concentration arising from dislocation piling-up at grain boundaries through the fragmentation from the original coarse structures into the fine equiaxed ones due to recrystallization,which further effectively suppresses apparent grain growth during superplastic deformation.At the late stage of superplastic deformation,these equiaxed grains make GBS prevalent,which can effectively avoid intergranular cracking and is conducive to the further improvement in elongation.This study advances the understanding of the superplastic deformation mechanism of intermetallic Ti Al alloy.Yu Zhang Shuai Chang Yuyong Chen Yuchao Bai Cuiling Zhao Xiaopeng Wang Jun Min Xue Hao Wang 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,36:0
5Screening of abiotic stress-responsive cotton genes using a cotton full-length cDNA overexpressing Arabidopsis library显示文摘Cotton(Gossypium hirsutum L.)is a major crop and the main source of natural fiber worldwide.Because various abiotic and biotic stresses strongly influence cotton fiber yield and quality,improved stress resistance of this crop plant is urgently needed.In this study,we used Gateway technology to construct a normalized full-length cDNA overexpressing(FOX)library from upland cotton cultivar ZM12 under various stress conditions.The library was transformed into Arabidopsis to produce a cotton-FOX-Arabidopsis library.Screening of this library yielded 6,830 transgenic Arabidopsis lines,of which 757 were selected for sequencing to ultimately obtain 659 cotton ESTs.GO and KEGG analyses mapped most of the cotton ESTs to plant biological process,cellular compo-nent,and molecular function categories.Next,156potential stress-responsive cotton genes were identified from the cotton-FOX-Arabidopsis library under drought,salt,ABA,and other stress conditions.Four stress-related genes identified from the library,designated as GhCAS,GhAPX,GhSDH,and GhPOD,were cloned from cotton complementary DNA,and their expression patterns under stress were analyzed.Phenotypic experiments in-dicated that overexpression of these cotton genes in Arabidopsis affected the response to abiotic stress.The method developed in this study lays a foundation for high-throughput cloning and rapid identification of cotton functional genes.Shengting Li Hao Chen Zhi Hou Yu Li Cuiling Yang Daojie Wang Chun-Peng Song 2020Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2020,62,7:0
6Global Convergence of Conjugate Gradient Methods without Line Search显示文摘In this paper, a new steplength formula is proposed for unconstrained optimization,which can determine the step-size only by one step and avoids the line search step. 7A feedback regulation between ARF7-mediated auxin signaling and auxin homeostasis involving MES17 affects plant gravitropism显示文摘Gravitropism is an essential adaptive response of land plants.Asymmetric auxin gradients across plant organs,interpreted by multiple auxin signaling components including AUXIN RESPONSE FACTOR7(ARF7),trigger differential growth and bending response.However,how this fundamental process is strictly maintained in nature remains unclear.Here,we report that gravity stimulates the transcription of METHYL ESTERASE17(MES17)along the lower side of the hypocotyl via ARF7-dependent auxin signaling.The asymmetric distribution of MES17,a methyltransferase that converts auxin from its inactive form methyl indole-3-acetic acid ester(MeI AA)to its biologically active form free-IAA,enhanced the gradient of active auxin across the hypocotyl,which in turn reversely amplified the asymmetric auxin responses and differential growth that shape gravitropic bending.Taken together,our findings reveal the novel role of MES17-mediated auxin homeostasis in gravitropic responses and identify an ARF7-triggered feedback mechanism that reinforces the asymmetric distribution of active auxin and strictly controls gravitropism in plants.Feng Zhang Cuiling Li Xingzhen Qu Jiajia Liu Zipeng Yu Junxia Wang Jiayong Zhu Yongqiang Yu Zhaojun Ding 2022Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2022,64,7:0
