| 1 | Analysis of variation trends and causes of aerosol optical depth in Shaanxi Province using MODIS data显示文摘The temporal and spatial variations and causes of aerosol optical depth(AOD)in Shaanxi Province were investigated based on the Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer(MODIS)derived aerosol data for the period of March 2000–February 2012.The results showed that the distribution of aerosol was largely affected by topography and local economic activities.Heavy aerosol loading and increasing tendency in AOD was observed in Guanzhong,Hanzhong and Ankang basin,while a reverse tendency was revealed in most other regions.The spatial distribution of aerosol Angstrom wavelength exponent was predominantly related to vegetation coverage in Shaanxi.Airborne dust from ground is an important source of coarse mode aerosols.Vegetation improvement indicated by an increase in normalized difference vegetation index(NDVI)and a reduction in dust weather led to a gradual decrease in coarse mode AOD to the north of Qinling Mountains in Shaanxi,while anthropogenic activities led to an increase in fine mode AOD in other areas except those covered by forests.The main aerosol type gradually shifted to the urban industrial type in Shaanxi. | DONG ZiPeng YU Xing LI XingMin DAI Jin | 2013 | Chinese Science Bulletin2013,58,35: | 8 |
| 2 | MPK14-mediated auxin signaling controls lateral root development via ERF13-regulated very-long-chain fatty acid biosynthesis显示文摘Auxin plays a critical role in lateral root(LR)formation.The signaling module composed of auxin-response factors(ARFs)and lateral organ boundaries domain transcription factors mediates auxin signaling to control almost every stage of LR development.Here,we show that auxin-induced degradation of the APETALA2/Ethylene Responsive Factor(AP2/ERF)transcription factor ERF13,dependent on MITOGENACTIVATED PROTEIN KINASE MPK14-mediated phosphorylation,plays an essential role in LR development.Overexpression of ERF13 results in restricted passage of the LR primordia through the endodermal layer,greatly reducing LR emergence,whereas the erf13 mutants showed an increase in emerged LR.ERF13 inhibits the expression of 3-ketoacyl-CoA synthase16(KCS16),which encodes a fatty acid elongase involved in very-long-chain fatty acid(VLCFA)biosynthesis.Overexpression of KCS16 or exogenous VLCFA treatment rescues the LR emergence defects in ERF13 overexpression lines,indicating a role downstream of the auxin-MPK14-ERF13 signaling module.Collectively,our study uncovers a novel molecular mechanism by which MPK14-mediated auxin signaling modulates LR development via ERF13-regulated VLCFA biosynthesis. | Bingsheng Lv Kaijing Wei Kongqin Hu Te Tian Feng Zhang Zipeng Yu Dajian Zhang Yinghua Su Yalin Sang Xiansheng Zhang Zhaojun Ding | 2021 | Molecular Plant2021,14,2: | 6 |
| 3 | Two regimes of Atlantic multidecadal oscillation: cross-basin dependent or Atlantic-intrinsic显示文摘The Atlantic Multidedal Oscillation(AMO) is a prominent mode of sea surface temperature variability in the Atlantic and incurs significant global influence. Most coupled models failed to reproduce the observed 50–80-year AMO, but were overwhelmed by a 10–30-year AMO. Here we show that the 50–80-year AMO and 10–30-year AMO represent two different AMO regimes. The key differences are:(1) the 50–80-year AMO involves transport of warm and saline Atlantic water into the Greenland-Iceland-Norwegian(GIN)Seas prior to reaching its maximum positive phase, while such a transport is weak for the 10–30-year AMO;(2) the zonality of atmospheric variability associated with the 50–80 year AMO favors the transport of warm and saline water into the GIN Seas;(3) the disappearance of Pacific variability weakens the zonality of atmospheric variability and the transport of warm and saline water into the GIN Seas, leading to the weakening of the 50–80-year AMO. In contrast, the 10–30-year AMO does not show dependence on the variability in Pacific and in the GIN Seas and may be an Atlantic-intrinsic mode. | 4 | Pt3Ag alloy wavy nanowires as highly effective electrocatalysts for ethanol oxidation reaction显示文摘Direct ethanol fuel cell(DEFC)has received tremendous research interests because of the more convenient storage and transportation of ethanol vs.compressed hydrogen.However,the electrocatalytic ethanol oxidation reaction typically requires precious metal catalysts and is plagued with relatively high over potential and low mass activity.Here we report the synthesis of Pt3Ag alloy wavy nanowires via a particle attachment mechanism in a facile solvothermal process.Transmission microscopy studies and elemental analyses show highly wavy nanowire structures with an average diameter of 4.6±1.0 nm and uniform Pt3Ag alloy formation.Electrocatalytic studies demonstrate that the resulting alloy nanowires can function as highly effective electrocatalysts for ethanol oxidation reactions(EOR)with ultrahigh specific activity of 28.0 mA/cm^2 and mass activity of 6.1 A/mg,far exceeding that of the commercial Pt/carbon samples(1.10 A/mg).The improved electrocatalytic activity may be partly attributed to partial electron transfer from Ag to Pt in the Pt3Ag alloy,which weakens CO binding and the CO poisoning effect.The one-dimensional nanowire morphology also contributes to favorable charge transport properties that are critical for extracting charge from catalytic active sites to external circuits.The chronoamperometry studies demonstrate considerably improved stability for long term operation compared with the commercial Pt/C samples,making the Pt3Ag wavy nanowires an attractive electrocatalyst for EOR. | Xiaoyang Fu Chengzhang Wan Aixin Zhang Zipeng Zhao Huaixun Huyan Xiaoqing Pan Shuaijing Du Xiangfeng Duan Yu Huang | 2020 | Nano Research2020,13,5: | 5 |

| 8 | Ultrathin wavy Rh nanowires as highly effective electrocatalysts for methanol oxidation reaction with ultrahigh ECSA显示文摘Direct methanol fuel cells (DMFCs) have received tremendous research interests because of the facile storage of liquid methanol vs.hydrogen.However,the DMFC today is severely plagued by the poor kinetics and rather high overpotential in methanol oxidation reaction (MOR).Here we report the investigation of the ultrathin Rh wavy nanowires as a highly effective MOR electrocatalyst.We show that ultrathin wavy Rh nanowires can be robustly synthesized with 2-3 nm diameters.Electrochemical studies show a current peak at the potential of 0.61 V vs.reversible hydrogen electrode (RHE),considerably lower than that of Pt based catalysts (~ 0.8-0.9 V vs.RHE).Importantly,with ultrathin diameters and favorable charge transport,the Rh nanowires catalysts exhibit an ultrahigh electrochemically active surface area determined from CO-stripping (ECSAco) of 144.2 m2/g,far exceeding that of the commercial Rh black samples (20 m2/g).Together,the Rh nanowire catalysts deliver a mass activity of 722 mA/mg at 0.61 V,considerably higher than many previously reported electrocatalysts at the same potential.The chronoamperometry studies also demonstrate good stability and CO-tolerance compared with the Rh black control sample,making ultrathin Rh wavy nanowires an attractive electrocatalyst for MOR. | Xiaoyang Fu Zipeng Zhao Chengzhang Wan Yiliu Wang Zheng Fan Frank Song Bocheng Cao Mufan Li Wang Xue Yu Huang Xiangfeng Duan | 2019 | Nano Research2019,12,1: | 3 |
| 9 | Co-fermented defatted rice bran alters gut microbiota and improves growth performance,antioxidant capacity,immune status and intestinal permeability of finishing pigs显示文摘Based on preparation of co-fermented defatted rice bran(DFRB)using Bacillus subtilis,Saccharomyces cerevisiae,Lactobacillus plantarum and phytase,the present study aimed to evaluate the effects of cofermented DFRB on growth performance,antioxidant capacity,immune status,gut microbiota and permeability in finishing pigs.Ninety finishing pigs(85.30±0.97 kg)were randomly assigned to 3treatments(3 replicates/treatment)with a basal diet(Ctrl),a basal diet supplemented with 10% unfermented DFRB(UFR),and a basal diet supplemented with 10% fermented DFRB(FR)for 30 d.Results revealed that the diet supplemented with FR notably(P<0.05)improved the average daily gain(ADG),gain to feed ratio(G:F)and the digestibility of crude protein,amino acids and dietary fiber of finishing pigs compared with UFR.Additionally,FR supplementation significantly(P<0.05)increased total antioxidant capacity,the activities of superoxide dismutase and catalase,and decreased the content of malonaldehyde in serum.Furthermore,FR remarkably(P<0.05)increased serum levels of Ig G,antiinflammatory cytokines(IL-22 and IL-23)and reduced pro-inflammatory cytokines(TNF-α,IL-1β and INF-γ).The decrease of serum diamine oxidase activity and serum D-lactate content in the FR group(P<0.05)suggested an improvement in intestinal permeability.Supplementation of FR also elevated the content of acetate and butyrate in feces(P<0.05).Moreover,FR enhanced gut microbial richness and the abundance of fiber-degrading bacteria such as Clostridium butyricum and Lactobacillus amylovorus.Correlation analyses indicated dietary fiber in FR was associated with improvements in immune status,intestinal permeability and the level of butyrate-producing microbe C.butyricum,which was also verified by the in vitro fermentation analysis.These findings provided an experimental and theoretical basis for the application of fermented DFRB in finishing pigs. | Weifa Su Zipeng Jiang Cheng Wang Yu Zhang Tao Gong Fengqin Wang Mingliang Jin Yizhen Wang Zeqing Lu | 2022 | Animal Nutrition2022,,4: | 3 |
| 10 | Regulation of the stability and ABA import activity of NRT1.2/NPF4.6 by CEPR2-mediated phosphorylation in Arabidopsis显示文摘Abscisic acid(ABA)transport plays an important role in systemic plant responses to environmental factors.However,it remains largely unclear about the precise regulation of ABA transporters in plants.In this study,we show that the C-terminally encoded peptide receptor 2(CEPR2)directly interacts with the ABA transporter NRT1.2/NPF4.6.Genetic and phenotypic analyses revealed that NRT1.2/NPF4.6 positively regulates ABA response and that NRT1.2/NPF4.6 is epistatically and negatively regulated by CEPR2.Further biochemical assays demonstrated that CEPR2 phosphorylates NRT1.2/NPF4.6 at serine 292 to promote its degradation under normal conditions.However,ABA treatment and non-phosphorylation at serine 292 prevented the degradation of NRT1.2/NPF4.6,indicating that ABA inhibits the phosphorylation of this residue.Transport assays in yeast and Xenopus oocytes revealed that non-phosphorylated NRT1.2/NPF4.6 had high levels of ABA import activity,whereas phosphorylated NRT1.2/NPF4.6 did not import ABA.Analyses of complemented nrt1.2 mutants that mimicked non-phosphorylated and phosphorylated NRT1.2/NPF4.6 confirmed that non-phosphorylated NRT1.2S292A had high stability and ABA import activity in planta.Additional experiments showed that NRT1.2/NPF4.6 was degraded via the 26S proteasome and vacuolar degradation pathways.Furthermore,we found that three E2 ubiquitin-conjugating enzymes,UBC32,UBC33,and UBC34,interact with NRT1.2/NPF4.6 in the endoplasmic reticulum and mediate its ubiquitination.NRT1.2/NPF4.6 is epistatically and negatively regulated by UBC32,UBC33,and UBC34 inplanta.Taken together,these results suggest that the stability and ABA import activity of NRT1.2/NPF4.6 are precisely regulated by its phosphorylation and degradation in response to environmental stress. | Lei Zhang Zipeng Yu Yang Xu Miao Yu Yue Ren Shizhong Zhang Guodong Yang Jinguang Huang Kang Yan Chengchao Zheng Changai Wu | 2021 | Molecular Plant2021,14,4: | 2 |

| 13 | Synthesis of surface controlled nickel/palladium hydride nanodendrites with high performance in benzyl alcohol oxidation显示文摘Benzaldehyde byproduct is an imperative intermediate in the production of fine chemicals and additives.Tuning selectivity to benzaldehyde is therefore critical in alcohol oxidation reactions at the industrial level.Herein,we report a simple but innovative method for the synthesis of palladium hydride and nickel palladium hydride nanodendrites with controllable morphology,high stability,and excellent catalytic activity.The synthesized dendrites can maintain the palladium hydride phase even after their use in the chosen catalytic reaction.Remarkably,the high surface area morphology and unique interaction between nickel-rich surface and palladium hydride (β-phase) of these nanodendrites are translated in an enhanced catalytic activity for benzyl alcohol oxidation reaction.Our Ni/PdH0.43 nanodendrites demonstrated a high selectivity towards benzaldehyde of about 92.0% with a conversion rate of 95.4%,showing higher catalytic selectivity than their PdH0.43 counterparts and commercial Pd/C.The present study opens the door for further exploration of metal/metal-hydride nanostructures as next-generation catalytic materials. | Zipeng Zhao Michelle M.Flores Espinosa Jihan Zhou Wang Xue Xiangfeng Duan Jianwei Miao Yu Huang | 2019 | Nano Research2019,12,6: | 1 |

| 19 | Prediction and Verifcation of Forming Limit Diagrams Based on a Modifed Shear Failure Criterion显示文摘The forming limit diagram plays an important role in predicting the forming limit of sheet metals.Previous studies have shown that,the method to construct the forming limit diagram based on instability theory of the original shear failure criterion is efective and simple.The original shear instability criterion can accurately predict the left area of the forming limit diagram but not the right area.In this study,in order to improve the accuracy of the original shear failure criterion,a modifed shear failure criterion was proposed based on in-depth analysis of the original shear failure criterion.The detailed improvement strategies of the shear failure criterion and the complete calculation process are given.Based on the modifed shear failure criterion and diferent constitutive equations,the theoretical forming limit of TRIP780 steel and 5754O aluminum alloy sheet metals are calculated.By comparing the theoretical and experimental results,it is shown that proposed modifed shear failure criterion can predict the right area of forming limit more reasonably than the original shear failure criterion.The efect of the pre-strain and constitutive equation on the forming limits are also analyzed in depth.The modifed shear failure criterion proposed in this study provides an alternative and reliable method to predict forming limit of sheet metals. | Haibo Wang Zipeng Wang Yu Yan Yuanhui Xu | 2023 | Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2023,36,5: | 0 |
