| 1 | Numerical simulation of the pulsing air separation field based on CFD显示文摘The flow field of pulsing air separation is normally in an unsteady turbulence state.With the application of the basic principles of multiphase turbulent flows,we established the dynamical computational model,which shows a remarkable variation of the unstable pulsing air flow field.CFD(computational fluid dynamics) was used to conduct the numerical simulation of the actual geometric model of the classifier.The inside velocity of the flowing fields was analyzed later.The simulation results indicate that the designed structure of the active pulsing air classifier provided a favorable environment for the separation of the particles with different physical characters by density.We shot the movement behaviors of the typical tracer grains in the active pulsing flow field using a high speed dynamic camera.The displacement and velocity curves of the particles in the continuous impulse periods were then analyzed.The experimental results indicate that the effective separation by density of the particles with the same settling velocity and different ranges of the density and particle size can be achieved in the active pulsing airflow field.The experimental results provide an agreement with the simulation results. | He Jingfeng He Yaqun Zhao Yuemin Duan Chenlong Ye Cuiling | 2012 | International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2012,22,2: | 12 |
| 2 | The Character and Formation of Elongated Depressions on the Upper Bulgarian Slope显示文摘Seafloor elongated depressions are indicators of gas seepage or slope instability. Here we report a sequence of slopeparallel elongated depressions that link to headwalls of sediment slides on upper slope. The depressions of about 250 m in width and several kilometers in length are areas of focused gas discharge indicated by bubble-release into the water column and methane enriched pore waters. Sparker seismic profiles running perpendicular and parallel to the coast, show gas migration pathways and trapped gas underneath these depressions with bright spots and seismic blanking. The data indicate that upward gas migration is the initial reason for fracturing sedimentary layers. | 7 | Discovery of potential anti-SARS-CoV-2 drugs based on large-scale screening in vitro and effect evaluation in vivo显示文摘The coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)pandemic caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARSCoV-2)is a global crisis.Clinical candidates with high efficacy,ready availability,and that do not develop resistance are in urgent need.Despite that screening to repurpose clinically approved drugs has provided a variety of hits shown to be effective against SARS-CoV-2 infection in cell culture,there are few confirmed antiviral candidates in vivo.In this study,94 compounds showing high antiviral activity against SARS-CoV-2 in Vero E6 cells were identified from 2,580 FDA-approved small-molecule drugs.Among them,24 compounds with low cytotoxicity were selected,and of these,17 compounds also effectively suppressed SARS-CoV-2 infection in He La cells transduced with human ACE2.Six compounds disturb multiple processes of the SARSCoV-2 life cycle.Their prophylactic efficacies were determined in vivo using Syrian hamsters challenged with SARS-CoV-2infection.Seven compounds reduced weight loss and promoted weight regain of hamsters infected not only with the original strain but also the D614G variant.Except for cisatracurium,six compounds reduced hamster pulmonary viral load,and IL-6 and TNF-αm RNAwhen assayed at 4 d postinfection.In particular,sertraline,salinomycin,and gilteritinib showed similar protective effects as remdesivir in vivo and did not induce antiviral drug resistance after 10 serial passages of SARS-CoV-2 in vitro,suggesting promising application for COVID-19 treatment. | Haoran Peng Cuiling Ding Liangliang Jiang Wanda Tang Yan Liu Lanjuan Zhao Zhigang Yi Hao Ren Chong Li Yanhua He Xu Zheng Hailin Tang Zhihui Chen Zhongtian Qi Ping Zhao | 2022 | Science China(Life Sciences)2022,65,6: | 1 |
| 8 | Video-based pedestrian grouping model considering longspan space in a big hall显示文摘Pedestrian group detection is a challenging but significant issue in pedestrian flow control and public safety management.To address the issue that most conventional pedestrian grouping models(PGMs)can only identify a pedestrian group at a limited distance of less than 2 m,this study extended the pedestrian distance constraint of conventional PGMs with a reconstruction of the normal group detection criterion and development of a novelgroup detection criterion suitable for long-span space.To measure the movement behaviorsimilarity with normal distance,five necessary constraints:velocity difference,moving direction offset,distance limitation,distance fluctuation,and group-keeping duration were studied quantitatively to form the criterion to detect normal groups.Meanwhile,a long-span group detection criterion was proposed with extended distance and direction con-sistency constraints.Therefore,this study proposed an improved PGM that considers long-span spaces(PGMLS).In the PGMLS workflow,the MMTrack algorithm was used to obtainpedestrian trajectories.A difference measurement method based on sequential pattern analysis(SPA)was adopted to analyze the velocity similarity of pedestrians.To validate the proposed grouping model,experiments based on pedestrian movement videos in the exit hall of the Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport were conducted.The results indicate that the proposed model can detect both normal and widely separated pedestrian groups,with a long span range of 2-12 m. | Rongyong Zhao Yan Wang Ping Jia Cuiling Li Daheng Dong Yunlong Ma | 2023 | Journal of Management Science and Engineering2023,8,3: | 0 |
| 9 | Low-temperature superplasticity of β-stabilized Ti-43Al-9V-Y alloy sheet with bimodalγ-grain-size distribution显示文摘The superplasticity of Ti-43Al-9V-0.2Y alloy sheet hot-rolled at 1100℃was systematically investigated in the temperature range of 750-900℃under an initial strain rate of 10^(-4)s^(-1).A bimodalγgraindistribution microstructure of Ti Al alloy sheet,with abundant nano-scale or sub-micronγlaths embedded insideβmatrix,exhibits an impressive superplastic behaviour.This inhomogeneous microstructure shows low-temperature superplasticity with a strain-rate sensitivity exponent of m=0.27 at 800℃,which is the lowest temperature of superplastic deformation for Ti Al alloys attained so far.The maximum elongation reaches~360%at 900℃with an initial strain rate of 2.0×10^(-4)s^(-1).To elucidate the softening mechanism of the disorderedβphase during superplastic deformation,the changes of phase composition were investigated up to 1000℃using in situ high-temperature X-ray diffraction(XRD)in this study.The results indicate thatβphase does not undergo the transformation from an ordered L2;structure to a disordered A2 structure and cannot coordinate superplastic deformation as a lubricant.Based on the microstructural evolution and occurrence of bothγandβdynamic recrystallization(DR)after tensile tests as characterized with electron backscatter diffraction(EBSD),the superplastic deformation mechanism can be explained by the combination of DR and grain boundary slipping(GBS).In the early stage of superplastic deformation,DR is an important coordination mechanism as associated with the reduced cavitation and dislocation density with increasing tensile temperature.Sufficient DR can relieve stress concentration arising from dislocation piling-up at grain boundaries through the fragmentation from the original coarse structures into the fine equiaxed ones due to recrystallization,which further effectively suppresses apparent grain growth during superplastic deformation.At the late stage of superplastic deformation,these equiaxed grains make GBS prevalent,which can effectively avoid intergranular cracking and is conducive to the further improvement in elongation.This study advances the understanding of the superplastic deformation mechanism of intermetallic Ti Al alloy. | Yu Zhang Shuai Chang Yuyong Chen Yuchao Bai Cuiling Zhao Xiaopeng Wang Jun Min Xue Hao Wang | 2021 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,36: | 0 |

| 11 | Cloning and functional analysis of the promoter of allergen gene Ara h 1 from peanut显示文摘Peanut seeds are ideal bioreactors for the production of foreign recombinant proteins or secondary metabolites.Seed-specific promoters(SSPs)can direct the expression of genes specifically in seeds to avoid undesirable effects associated with constitutive expression.However,few SSPs have been identified in peanut.Previous studies have shown that some allergen-encoding genes encode seed storage proteins or exhibit seed-specific/preferential expression.In this study,we characterized allergen-encoding genes from across the genomes of Arachis species to explore seed-specific genes.We found that at least 9 out of 16 identified peanut allergen-encoding genes were expressed specifically in the seeds or were preferentially expressed.A 1493-bp promoter fragment of allergen gene Ara h 1(we named it AHSSP6)was isolated from cultivated peanut genome.cis-element analysis showed that three RY repeat elements which usually exsisted in seed or embryo specific promoter sequence were also present in AHSSP6 sequence.Histochemical analysis showed AHSSP6 could drive the expression of aβ-glucuronidase(GUS)reporter gene specifically in the seeds or cotyledon tissue of transgenic Arabidopsis,while not in other tissues.These findings indicated that these promoters of allergen genes were candidate SSPs,and AHSSP6 was a novel SSP which could be potentially utilized in peanut improvement. | Cuiling Yuan Chunjuan Li Caixia Yan Xiaobo Zhao Juan Wang Yifei Mou Zhiwei Wang Quanxi Sun Shihua Shan | 2022 | Oil Crop Science2022,7,1: | 0 |
