1Dislocations-induced precipitates and their effect on mechanical properties of Mg-Gd-Y-Zr alloy显示文摘Optical microscope(OM),scanning electron microscope(SEM),transmission electron microscope(TEM)and tensile machine were used to characterize the microstructures and mechanical properties of as-forged and aged Mg-9.5Gd-3.8Y-0.6Zr alloys.The results show that a novel kind of dislocation arrays,comprising parallel arranged dislocations,were obtained in the forged alloy.The arrays tend to extend parallel and are heterogeneously distributed with adjacent distances varying from 0.3μm to 1.4μm.After aging the alloy at 265°C,a large number of preferential-oriented phases were precipitated on the dislocation arrays,forming a structure of'precipitation chains'(PCs),which results in simultaneous increments of strength and ductility.Chao You Churning Liu Yingchun Wan Bei Tang Bizheng Wang Yonghao Gao Xiuzhu Han 2019Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2019,7,3:8
2Structure,rheology and electrospinning of zein and poly(ethylene oxide) in aqueous ethanol solutions显示文摘Electrospun fiber mats (EFM) integrated proteins and biocompatible polymers have been widely used as tissue scaffold, wound dressing and food packaging. The morphology of EFM has strong correlation with the structure and rheology of the solutions. We studied the structure and rheology of polyethylene oxide (PEO) and zein in 80% ethanol aqueous solutions and the resulted EFM. In solutions, zein with rod-like conformation tends to aggregate and form oligomer, the number of proteins in the oligomer spans from 2.5 to 55.2, while PEO always behaves like Gaussian chain in good solvent. Zein preferred to distribute along PEO chains in their mixed solutions, and the structures decomposed from small angle X-ray scattering have consistent relaxation spatial-temporal characteristics with rheological behaviors.Further, the aging of zein solutions enhanced shear thinning and resulted thicker fibers in EFM, which are attributed to the rod-like growth of zein aggregates. Aggregates in viscous media with long enough relaxation time are probably crucial for the formation of continuous electrospun fibers or ribbons. 3Impact of Urbanization on Low-Temperature Precipitation in Beijing during 1960–2008显示文摘Daily precipitation and temperature records at 13 stations for the period 1960–2008 were analyzed to identify climatic change and possible effects of urbanization on low-temperature precipitation [LTP, precipitation of 0.1 mm d 1occurring under a daily minimum temperature(Tmin) of 0 C] in the greater Beijing region(BJR), where a rapid process of urbanization has taken place over the last few decades. The paper provides a climatological overview of LTP in BJR. LTP contributes 61.7% to the total amount of precipitation in BJR in the cold season(November–March). There is a slight increasing trend [1.22 mm(10 yr) 1] in the amount of total precipitation for the cold season during 1960–2008. In contrast, the amount of LTP decreases by 0.6 mm(10 yr) 1. The warming rate of Tmin in BJR is 0.66 C(10 yr) 1. Correspondingly, the frequency of LTP decreases with increasing Tmin by 0.67 times per C. The seasonal frequency and amount of LTP in southeast BJR(mostly urban sites) are 17%–20% less than those in the northwestern(rural and montane sites). The intensity of LTP for the urban sites and northeastern BJR exhibited significant enhancing trends [0.18 and 0.15 mm d 1(10 yr) 1, respectively]. 4Genotypic variation in spatiotemporal distribution of canopy light interception in relation to yield formation in cotton显示文摘Background: Within-canopy interception of photosynthetically active radiation(PAR) impacts yield and other agronomic traits in cotton(Gossypium hirsutum L.). Field experiments were conducted to investigate the influence of 6 cotton varieties(they belong to 3 different plant types) on yield, yield distribution, light interception(LI), LI distribution and the relationship between yield formation and LI in Anyang, Henan, in 2014 and 2015.Result: The results showed that cotton cultivars with long branches(loose-type) intercepted more LI than did cultivars with short branches(compact-type), due to increased LI in the middle and upper canopy. Although loose-type varieties had greater LI, they did not yield significantly higher than compact-type varieties, due to decreased harvest index. Therefore, improving the harvest index by adjusting the source-to-sink relationship may further increase cotton yield for loose-type cotton. In addition, there was a positive relationship between reproductive organ biomass accumulation and canopy-accumulated LI, indicating that enhancing LI is important for yield improvement for each cultivar. 13Template-free synthesis of inorganic hollow spheres at water/“water-brother”interfaces as Fenton-like reagents for water treatment显示文摘This paper reports a template-free method to synthesize a series of inorganic hollow spheres(IHSs)including Cu-1,Cu-2,Ni-1,Ni-2 based on mineralization reactions at water/'water-brother' interfaces. 'Water-brother' was defined as a solvent which is miscible with water,such as ethanol and acetone. The water/'water-brother' interfaces are very different from water/oil interfaces. The 'water-brother' solvent will usually form a homogenous phase with water. Interestingly,in our method,these interfaces can be formed,observed and utilized to synthesize hollow spheres. Utilizing the unique porous properties of the spheres,their potential application in water treatment was demonstrated by using Cu-1 IHSs as Fenton-like reagents for adsorption and decomposition of Congo Red from aqueous solution. The final adsorption equilibrium was achieved after 30 min with the maximum adsorption capacity of 86.1 mg/g,and 97.3% removal of the dye in 80 min after adsorption equilibrium. 14Reversible conductivity recovery of highly sensitive flexible devices by water vapor显示文摘With decreasing size of integrated circuits in wearable electronic devices,the circuit is more susceptible to aging or fracture problem,subsequently decreasing the transmission efficiency of electricity.Micro-healing represents a good approach to solve this problem.Herein,we report a water vapor method to repair microfiber-based electrodes by precise positioning and rapid healing at their original fracture sites.To realize this micro-level conducting healing,we utilize a bimaterial composed of polymeric microfibers as healing agents and electrically conductive species on its surface.This composite electrode shows a high-performance conductivity,great transparency,and ultra-flexibility.The transmittance of our electrode could reach up to 88 and 90%with a sheet resistance of 1 and 2.8Ωsq^(−1),respectively,which might be the best performance among Au-based materials as we know.Moreover,after tensile failure,water vapor is introduced to mediate heat transfer for the healing process,and within seconds the network electrode could be healed along with recovering of its resistance.The recovering process could be attributed to the combination of adhesion force and capillary force at this bimaterial interface.Finally,this functional network is fabricated as a wearable pressure/strain sensing device.It shows excellent stretchability and mechanical durability upon 1000 cycles.Yuting Wang Yingchun Su Zegao Wang Zhongyang Zhang Xiaojun Han Mingdong Dong Lifeng Cui Menglin Chen 2018npj Flexible Electronics2018,2,1:0
15CdTe-paper-based Visual Sensor for Detecting Methyl Viologen显示文摘This study developed a method on detecting methyl viologen(paraquat)using a CdTe-paper-based visual sensor.The CdTe Qdots were immobilized on the paper using glycerin.The volume percentages of CdTe in glycerin were optimized to be 50%.The sensing principle is that the methyl viologen quenches the fluorescence intensity of CdTe Qdots in a concentration dependent manner.The sensor is linearly response to the logarithm concentration of the methyl viologen in the range from 0.39μmol/L to 3.89 mmol/L with a detection limit of 0.16μmol/L and the corre-lation coefficient R^(2) of 0.99.Three parallel experiments at the methyl viologen concentration of 38.89μmol/L give a relative error of 2.45%,which indicates a good reproducibility.The sensor is not disturbed by other pestisides in-cluding omethoate,anilofos,machete and glyphosate isopropylamine salt.The advantages of this sensor are dis-posable,stable,convenient,and easy to operate.Yingchun Su Shenghua Ma Kunpeng Jiang Xiaojun Han 2015Chinese Journal of Chemistry2015,33,4:0
16A new DRIE cut-off material in SOG MEMS process显示文摘The silicon on glasses process is a common preparation method of micro-electro-mechanical system inertial devices,which can realize the processing of thick silicon structures.This paper proposes that indium tin oxides(ITO)film can serve as a deep silicon etching cut-off layer because ITO is less damaged under the attack of fluoride ions.ITO has good electrical conductivity and can absorb fluoride ions for silicon etching and reduce the reflection of fluoride ions,thus reducing the foot effect.The removal and release of ITO use an acidic solution,which does not damage the silicon structure.Therefore,the selection of the sacrificial layer has an excellent effect in maintaining the shape of the MEMS structure.This method is used in the preparation of MEMS accelerometers with a structure thickness of 100μm and a feature size of 4μm.The over-etching of the bottom of the silicon structure caused by the foot effect is negligible.The difference between the simulated value and the designed value of the device characteristic frequency is less than 5%.This indicates that ITO is an excellent deep silicon etch stopper material.Chaowei Si Yingchun Fu Guowei Han Yongmei Zhao Jin Ning Zhenyu Wei Fuhua Yang 2023Journal of Semiconductors2023,44,4:0
17Research on the Optimal Dose of FSH for Superovulation of Mongolian Cattle显示文摘In this study,purebred Mongolian cattle were treated with a series of technical means including superovulation,artificial insemination,non-surgical embryo flushing,embryo grading and embryo cryopreservation,aiming at exploring a set of mature,stable production and breeding program for purebred Mongolian cattle embryos. The results showed that the optimal dose of FSH for superovulation of bred Mongolian cattle was 410 IU; the optimal dose of FSH for superovulation of multiparous Mongolian cattle was 440 IU. 19OsHYPK-mediated protein N-terminal acetylation coordinates plant development and abiotic stress responses in rice显示文摘N-terminal acetylation is one of the most common protein modifications in eukaryotes,and approximately 40%of human and plant proteomes are acetylated by ribosome-associated N-terminal acetyltransferase A(NatA)in a co-translational manner.However,the in vivo regulatory mechanism of NatA and the global impact of NatA-mediated N-terminal acetylation on protein fate remain unclear.Here,we identify Huntingtin Yeast partner K(HYPK),an evolutionarily conserved chaperone-like protein,as a positive regulator of NatA activity in rice.We found that loss of OsHYPK function leads to developmental defects in rice plant architecture but increased resistance to abiotic stresses,attributable to perturbation of the N-terminal acetylome and accelerated global protein turnover.Furthermore,we demonstrated that OsHYPK is also a substrate of NatA and that N-terminal acetylation of OsHYPK promotes its own degradation,probably through the Ac/N-degron pathway,which could be induced by abiotic stresses.Taken together,our findings suggest that the OsHYPK-NatA complex plays a critical role in coordinating plant development and stress responses by dynamically regulating NatA-mediated N-terminal acetylation and global protein turnover,which are essential for maintaining adaptive phenotypic plasticity in rice.Xiaodi Gong Yaqian Huang Yan Liang Yundong Yuan Yuhao Liu Tongwen Han Shujia Li Hengbin Gao Bo Lv Xiahe Huang Eric Linster Yingchun Wang Markus Wirtz Yonghong Wang 2022Molecular Plant2022,15,4:0
20Colloidal synthesis and phase transformation of all-inorganic bismuth halide perovskite nanoplates显示文摘Lead-free bismuth-based halide perovskites and their analogues have attracted research interest for their high stability and optoelectronic properties.However,the morphology-controlled synthesis of bismuth-based perovskite nanocrystals has been rarely demonstrated.Herein,we report the colloidal synthesis of zero-dimensional(0D)Cs3BiCl6 nanosheets(NSs),Cs3Bi2Cl9 NSs/nanoplates(NPs)and Cs4MnBi2Cl12 NPs through a hot-injection method.We demonstrate that the Cs3BiCl6 NSs,as an initial product of Cs3Bi2Cl9 and Cs4MnBi2Cl12 NPs,can transform into Cs3Bi2Cl9 NSs or Cs4MnBi2Cl12 NPs via Cl-induced metal ion insertion reactions under the templating effect of Cs3BiCl6.This growth mechanism is also applicable for the synthesis of Cs4CdBi2Cl12 nanoplates.Furthermore,the alloying of Cd2+into Cs4MnBi2Cl12 lattice could weaken the strong coupling effect between Mn and Mn,which leads to a prolonged photoluminescence lifetime and an enhanced photoluminescence quantum yield(PLQY).As a proof of concept,the alloyed Cs4MnxCd1–xBi2Cl12 NPs are used as a scintillator,which show a lowest detection limit of 134.5 nGy/s.The X-ray imaging results display a high spatial resolution of over 20 line pairs per millimeter(lp/mm).These results provide new insights in the synthesis of anisotropic bismuth-based perovskite nanocrystals and their applications in radiation detection.Chao Wang Jiawen Xiao Zhengguang Yan Xiaowei Niu Taifeng Lin Yingchun Zhou Jingyu Li Xiaodong Han 2023Nano Research2023,16,1:0
