| 7 | Fluid Flow in Tundish Due to Different Type Arrangement of Weir and Dam显示文摘Tundish is an important metallurgical reactor in the continuous casting process. In order to control the fluid flow in tundish and thus take full advantage of the residence time available for the removal of inclusions from molten steel, the effect of weir and dam on the fluid flow has been studied in a water model based on the characteristic number Froude and Reynold number similarity criteria. The residence time distribution curves of the flow were measured by SG800, The optimum arrangement of dam and weir and the non- stationary flow in tundish were discussed. The results show that the combination of weir and dam is benefit for the flow pattern in tundish, weir can prevent the upper recirculating flow, dam can cut off the bottom flow and turn to upwards, it is advantageous to separate the nonmetallic inclusions. | 8 | Regulation of non-classical immune parameters in immune thrombocytopenic purpura mice by a spleen-invigorating,qi-replenishing and blood-containing formula显示文摘Objective:This study investigated the regulatory effect of non-classical immune parameters on immune thrombocytopenic purpura(ITP)mice by a spleen-invigorating,qi-replenishing and blood-containing formula(SQBF).Method:A total of 80 BALB/c mice were randomly divided into four equal groups(20 mice each):control group,model group,prednisone group and spleen-invigorating,qi-replenishing and blood-containing(SQBF)group.Mice in the model group,prednisone group,and SQBF group were administered anti-platelet serum to induce ITP.The dynamic variations of platelet counts in ITP mice were measured with an automatic blood analyzer before modeling and 48 h,and 8,12 and 15 days following APS injection.Levels of b-endorphin(b-EP),vasoactive intestinal peptide(VIP)and salivary IgA(SIgA)were detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)on 15th day of experiment.Results:SQBF enhanced peripheral blood platelet counts in ITP mice similar to that of prednisone,and both groups showed a statistically significant response compared with the model group(P<.01).The SQBF significantly decreased b-EP levels compared with the model and prednisone intervention groups(P<.05),significantly increased the levels of VIP and SIgA in ITP mice compared with the model group(P<.05)and had significant protective effects on the thymus of ITP mice compared with the model group(P<.01).Conclusions:The SQBF had a similar effect to prednisone with regards to enhancing peripheral blood platelet counts in ITP mice.Furthermore,it decreased b-EP levels and increased VIP and SIgA,and protected the thymus.This shows that,on base of the brain-gut axis functions,some non-classical immune vascular active factors or neurotransmitters are also involved in immune responses,and also have relationship with the onset of ITP and bleeding and/or hemostasis.It needs further study to determine whether a change in these active factors is related to immediate hemostasis. | Tiantian Li Hao He Li Hou Yue Xu Xiaoyong Wu Yanping Sun Lei Zheng Zhixiong Chen Xinyi Chen Bei Qin | 2015 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medical Sciences2015，2，2： | 6 |
| 9 | Interaction of polyhydroxy fullerenes with ferrihydrite:adsorption and aggregation显示文摘The rapid development of nanoscience and nanotechnology, with thousands types of nanomaterials being produced, will lead to various environmental impacts. Thus,understanding the behaviors and fate of these nanomaterials is essential. This study focused on the interaction between polyhydroxy fullerenes(PHF) and ferrihydrite(Fh), a widespread iron(oxyhydr)oxide nanomineral and geosorbent. Our results showed that PHF were effectively adsorbed by Fh. The adsorption isotherm fitted the D-R model well, with an adsorption capacity of 67.1 mg/g. The adsorption mean free energy of 10.72 k J/mol suggested that PHF were chemisorbed on Fh. An increase in the solution p H and a decrease of the Fh surface zeta potential were observed after the adsorption of PHF on Fh; moreover, increasing initial solution p H led to a reduction of adsorption. The Fourier transform infrared spectra detected a red shift of C–O stretching from 1075 to 1062 cm-1 and a decrease of Fe–O bending, implying the interaction between PHF oxygenic functional groups and Fh surface hydroxyls. On the other hand, PHF affected the aggregation and reactivity of Fh by changing its surface physicochemical properties. Aggregation of PHF and Fh with individual particle sizes increasing from 2 nm to larger than 5 nm was measured by atomic force microscopy. The uniform distribution of C and Fe suggested that the aggregates of Fh were possibly bridged by PHF. | 11 | TiO_2/Schwertmannite nanocomposites as superior co-catalysts in heterogeneous photo-Fenton process显示文摘The heterogeneous photo-Fenton reaction is an effective technique in combating organic contaminants for both soil and water remediation,and extensive studies have focused on enhancing its efficiency and reducing its costs.In this work,we developed novel photoFenton catalysts by simply milling commercially available TiO_2(P25)with Schwertmannite(Sh),a natural iron-oxyhydroxysulfate nanomineral.We expect that the photo-generated electrons from TiO_2could continuously migrate to Sh,which then could enhance the separation of electron-hole pairs on TiO_2and accelerate the reduction of Fe(III)to Fe(II)on Sh,leading to high degradation efficiency of the target organic contaminants.SEM and TEM results showed the distribution of TiO_2on Sh surface for the nanocomposites(TiO_2/Sh).Under simulated sunlight irradiation,the much higher content of Fe(II)was determined on TiO_2/Sh than on Sh via a common method in the iron ore,and the consumption of H_2O_2and the production of·OH were more significant in the TiO_2/Sh system than those in the TiO_2and Sh systems.These results well support our hypothesis that the photo-generated electrons could migrate from TiO_2to Sh on the composites,and can also explain the much higher degradation efficiency of Rhodamine B(RhB)in the TiO_2/Sh system.Besides,TiO_2/Sh had lower Fe dissolution as compared with Sh,and retained high catalytic stability after four repeated cycles.Above merits of the TiO_2/Sh composites,in combining with their simple synthesis method and low-cost property,indicated that they should have promising applications as heterogeneous photo-Fenton catalysts. | Yanping Zhu Chun Zeng Runliang Zhu Yin Xu Xingyan Wang Huijun Zhou Jianxi Zhu Hongping He | 2019 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2019，31，6： | 5 |

| 14 | PhaseⅡstudy of induction chemotherapy followed by concurrent chemoradiotherapy with raltitrexed and cisplatin in locally advanced nasopharyngeal carcinoma显示文摘Objective:For locally advanced nasopharyngeal carcinoma(LA-NPC)patients,high incidences of distant metastases and severe treatment related toxicities are the main obstacles needed to be overcome.Raltitrexed,a specific thymidylate synthase inhibitor with a convenient administration schedule,has an acceptable and manageable toxicity,and possesses radio-sensitizing properties.To investigate the efficacy and safety of raltitrexed and cisplatin induction chemotherapy and concurrent chemoradiotherapy(IC+CCRT)in patients with LA-NPC,a phaseⅡclinical study was conducted.Methods:Sixty eligible patients with LA-NPC were enrolled into this study.A raltitrexed-cisplatin combination was used as part of an IC+CCRT regimen.Raltitrexed-cisplatin IC was given once every 3 weeks(q3 w)for two cycles,followed by raltitrexed-cisplatin based CCRT q3 w for two cycles.Intensity-modulated radiotherapy(IMRT)was given for all enrolled patients.Results:All patients were included in survival analysis according to the intent-to-treat principle.The objective response rate(ORR)3 months after treatment was 98%.The 2-year overall survival(OS)rate was 92%.The median relapse-free survival(RFS)time was 30.5[95%confidence interval(95%CI),28.4-32.3]months.The 2-year RFS rate was 85%.The 2-year local failure-free survival(LFFS)rate was 97%and the 2-year distant metastasis-free survival(DMFS)rate was 88%.Acute toxicities were mostly grade 2 and 3 reactions in bone marrow suppression,gastrointestinal side effect and oropharyngeal mucositis.Only two patients occurred grade 4 acute toxicities,one was bone marrow suppression and the other was dermatitis radiation.Conclusions:The combination of raltitrexed and cisplatin has a comparable efficacy to those in standard firstline therapy. | Yuan Wu Xueyan Wei Zilong Yuan Hongbin Xu Yanping Li Ying Li Liu Hu Guang Han Yu Qian Desheng Hu | 2020 | Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2020，32，5： | 4 |

| 17 | Microstructure characterization of PAN preoxidation fibers prepared with radio frequency plasma显示文摘The microstructures of preoxidation fibers prepared with radio frequency plasma were charac- terized in terms of micron, nano and atomic scales through scanning electron microscopy (SEM), high resolving transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM), scanning tunneling microscopy (STM), X-ray diffrac- tion (XRD), etc. The polyacrylonitrile (PAN) precur- sors were first soaked in the oxygen-enriched solvent and polarized in radio frequency electric field, and then were oxidized in the atmosphere of oxygen plasma. The morphology of SEM at micron scales shows that the wrinkles on the surface of preoxida- tion fibers prepared with plasma are shallower, and the surfaces are more tidy and smoother than the unsoaked samples prepared with usual electric fur- nace, and the uneven radial structure is improved. The results of XRD calculation show that the graph- itization degree and microcrystalline size get larger and the interlayer spacing gets smaller. Also, the lattice stripe and edge of bedding plane (002) can be observed from HRTEM at nano scales. From STM images at nano and atom scales, the microfibrils were found to be composed of ultrafibrils that closely twined and arranged, forming the left spiral structures spreading to fiber axis, and the carbon atoms on the surface of microcrystalline were found to have the trend of directional arrangement. | 20 | Surface Roughness and Roundness of Bearing Raceway Machined by Floating Abrasive Polishing and Their Effects on Bearing's Running Noise显示文摘As the two most important indexes of bearing raceway,surface roughness and roundness have significant influence on bearing noise.Some researchers have carried out studies in this field,however,reason and extent of the influence of raceway surface geometric characteristics on bearing running noise are not perfectly clear up to now.In this paper,the raceway of 6309 type bearing’s inner and outer ring is machined by floating abrasive polishing adopting soft abrasive pad.Surface roughness parameters,arithmetical mean deviation of the profile Ra,the point height of irregularities Rz,maximum height of the profile Rmax and roundness f of raceways,are measured before and after machining,and the change rules of the measured results are studied.The study results show that the floating abrasive polishing can reduce the surface geometric errors of bearing raceway evidently.The roundness error is reduced by 25%,Rmax value is reduced by 35.5%,Rz value is reduced by 22%and Ra value is reduced by 5%.By analyzing the change of the geometrical parameters and the shape difference of the raceway before and after machining,it is found that the floating abrasive polishing method can affect the roundness error mainly by modifying the local deviation of the raceway’s surface profile.Bearings with different raceway surface geometrical parameter value are assembled and the running noise is tested.The test results show that Ra has a little,Rmax and Rz have a measurable,and the roundness error has a significant influence on the running noise.From the viewpoint of controlling bearings’running noise,raceway roundness error should be strictly controlled,and for the surface roughness parameters,Rmax and Rz should be mainly controlled.This paper proposes an effective method to obtain the low noise bearing by machining the raceway with floating abrasive polishing after super finishing. | PANG Guibing QI Xuezhi MA Qinyi ZHAO Xiujun WEN Chunsheng XU Wenji PENG Yanping | 2014 | Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2014，27，3： | 3 |
