| 1 | Component analysis of Chinese medicine and advances in fuming-washing therapy for knee osteoarthritis via unsupervised data mining methods显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To analyze the component law of Chinese medicines in fuming-washing therapy for knee osteoarthritis(KOA), and develop new fuming-washing prescriptions for KOA through unsupervised data mining methods.METHODS: Chinese medicine recipes for fuming-washing therapy for KOA were collected and recorded in a database. The correlation coefficient among herbs, core combinations of herbs, andnew prescriptions were analyzed using modified mutual information, complex system entropy cluster, and unsupervised hierarchical clustering, respectively.RESULTS: Based on analysis of 345 Chinese medicine recipes for fuming-washing therapy, 68 herbs occurred frequently, 33 herb pairs occurred frequently, and 12 core combinations were found.Five new fuming-washing recipes for KOA were developed.CONCLUSION: Chinese medicines for fuming-washing therapy of KOA mainly consist of wind-dampness-dispelling and cold-dispersing herbs, blood-activating and stasis-resolving herbs,and wind-dampness-dispelling and heat-clearing herbs. The treatment of fuming-washing therapy for KOA also includes dispelling wind-dampness and dispersing cold, activating blood and resolving stasis, and dispelling wind-dampness and clearing heat. | 4 | Micro-Channel Heat Sink:A Review显示文摘The method to cool a high heat flux device is an important research direction for the heat exchanger design.Micro-channels are an eflfective heat exchange structure both for single-phase and two-phase flow.In this paper,the heat transfer correlations of single-phase,two-phase and nanofluid in a micro-channel are discussed and analyzed.The correlations of pressure drop for single-phase and two-phase fluids are also presented.Excluding the different working fluids used in the micro-channel,the diameter and aspect ratio,shape and structure,surface roughness,internal and external factor and layout of micro-channel pipe are considered to analyze their influence on the heat transfer performance and pressure drop.Micro-channel technology applications include industry,air-conditioning,solar energy systems,heat pipe technology and computer data center cooling.Compared to the conventional heat exchangers used in these fields,a micro-channel heat sink showed a much better heat transfer coefficient and low volume,indicating that it is a good choice and has huge potential for cooling application.Finally,existing problems and future scopes are described,and drawing up design standard,experimental and simulated methods for evaluating its performance are the urgent actions which need to be carried out.This review paper serves as guidance for researchers to design and predict the performance of micro-channel heat sinks. | ZHOU Jinzhi CAO Xiaoling ZHANG Nan YUAN Yanping ZHAO Xudong HARDY David | 2020 | Journal of Thermal Science2020,29,6: | 9 |
| 5 | Contrasting patterns of river runoff and sea-ice melted water in the Canada Basin显示文摘The fractions of river runoff and sea-ice melted water in the Canada Basin in summer 2003 were determined by the salinity-18O system. The fraction of river runoff(fR) was high in the upper 50 m of the water column and decreased with depth and latitude. The signals of the river runoff were confined to water depths above 200 m. The total amount of river runoff in the Canada Basin was higher than that in other arctic seas, indicating that the Canada Basin is a main storage region for river runoff. The penetration depth of the sea-ice melted water was less than 50 m to the south of 78°N, while it was about 150 m to the north of 78°N. The total amount of sea-ice melted water was much higher to the north of 78°N than to the south of 78°N, indicating the sea-ice melted waters accumulated on the ice edge. | 6 | High-performance polarization-sensitive photodetector based on a few-layered PdSe2 nanosheet显示文摘The extraordinary optical and electronic properties of anisotropic two-dimensional materials,such as black phosphorus,ReS2,and GeSe,enable them a promising component of polarization-sensitive photodetectors.However,these applications are significantly limited by the challenges of air-stability,response time,and linearly dichroic ratio.Interestingly,palladium diselenide(PdSe2)with high air stability is an emerging material that has robust in-plane anisotropy induced by its asymmetric pentagonal lattice structure.We have successfully prepared a few-layer PdSe2 using micromechanical exfoliation,and here we demonstrate the strong linear dichroism behavior of PdSe2 by polarization-resolved absorption spectra measurements.Such unique linear dichroism,endows the PdSe2 photodetector powerful ability to detect polarized light.The photodetector based on 5L PdSe2,as tested with polarization-dependent photocurrent mapping,exhibited competitive capability to detect polarized light,achieving a significant photocurrent on/off ratio(>10^2),the quite fast response time(<11 ms)and robust linearly dichroic ratios(/max//min≈1.9 at 532 nm).These results are essential advance in the development of polarization-sensitive photodetector,a crucial step towards opening up a new avenue for the application of 2D optoelectronic devices. | Jiahong Zhong Juan Yu Lingkai Cao Cheng Zeng Junnan Ding Chunxiao Cong Zongwen Liu Yanping Liu | 2020 | Nano Research2020,13,6: | 4 |

| 11 | Prognostic Nomogram for Patients with Hepatitis E Virus-related Acute Liver Failure:A Multicenter Study in China显示文摘Background and Aims:Timely and effective assessment scoring systems for predicting the mortality of patients with hepatitis E virus-related acute liver failure(HEV-ALF)are urgently needed.The present study aimed to establish an effective nomogram for predicting the mortality of HEV-ALF patients.Methods:The nomogram was based on a cross-sectional set of 404 HEV-ALF patients who were identified and enrolled from a cohort of 650 patients with liver failure.To compare the performance with that of the model for end-stage liver disease(MELD)scoring and CLIF-Consortiumacute-on-chronic liver failure score(CLIF-C-ACLFs)models,we assessed the predictive accuracy of the nomogram using the concordance index(C-index),and its discriminative ability using time-dependent receiver operating characteristics(td-ROC)analysis,respectively.Results:Multivariate logistic regression analysis of the development set carried out to predict mortality revealed that γ-glutamyl transpeptidase,albumin,total bilirubin,urea nitrogen,creatinine,international normalized ratio,and neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio were independent factors,all of which were incorporated into the new nomogram to predict the mortality of HEV-ALF patients.The area under the curve of this nomogram for mortality prediction was 0.671(95%confidence interval:0.602-0.740),which was higher than that of the MELD and CLIF-C-ACLFs models.Moreover,the td-ROC and decision curves analysis showed that both discriminative ability and threshold probabilities of the nomogram were superior to those of the MELD and CLIF-C-ACLFs models.A similar trend was observed in the validation set.Conclusions:The novel nomogram is an accurate and efficient mortality prediction method for HEV-ALF patients. | Jian Wu Cuifen Shi Xinyu Sheng Yanping Xu Jinrong Zhang Xinguo Zhao Jiong Yu Xinhui Shi Gongqi Li Hongcui Cao Lanjuan Li | 2021 | Journal of Clinical and Translational Hepatology2021,9,6: | 2 |

| 18 | Variation of high-molecular-weight glutenin subunits and glutenin macropolymer particle distribution in wheat grains produced under different water regimes显示文摘The components and contents of high-molecular-weight glutenin subunits(HMW-GS) in wheat grains affect glutenin macropolymer(GMP) size, which is considered an important flour quality trait in wheat. Four wheat cultivars(Shiluan 02-1, Yannong 24, Jinan 17 and Lumai 21) with different end-use qualities were used to investigate the HMW-GS and GMP contents, and the GMP particle distributions in grain produced under irrigated and rainfed conditions. The percent volume of GMP particles and the contents of HMW-GS and GMP were affected by genotype and soil water. Genotype × soil water interaction was significant only for GMP particles <12 μm and >100 μm in the growing season of 2010–2011. Irrigated and rainfed conditions had different influences on the GMP particle distribution in the four cultivars. Compared to irrigated treatment, the rainfed treatment had higher accumulations of HMW-GS and GMP, especially in cultivars Yannong 24, Jinan 17 and Lumai 21. Rainfed conditions also increased the proportion of large size particles of GMP, indicating that different water regimes had an effect on grain quality.
