| 1 | Survey of nutrients and quality assessment of crab paste by 1~H NMR spectroscopy and multivariate data analysis显示文摘Crab paste is a traditional and popular food for people in the coastal area of China.Visual inspection is currently the only method of quality assessment.We developed a new analytical method of a comprehensive survey of nutrients and quality assessment for crab paste based on a combination of 1 H NMR spectroscopy with multivariate data analysis.The aqueous extract of crab paste was dominated by amino acids,sugars,carboxylic acids,nucleotides and amines(including 19 first-time-reported compounds such as choline,uracil and guanosine).Two grades of crab paste had significant compositional differences in terms of amino acids,lactate,N-acetylglutamate,choline,dimethylamine,uridine,1-methylnicotinamide and 2-pyridienmethanol.These results provided important information on the grade-dependence of crab-paste composition,and demonstrated that NMR-MDA was effective not only for the comprehensive survey of nutrients,but also for quality assessment of crab paste. | YE YangFang ZHANG LiMin TANG HuiRu YAN XiaoJun | 2012 | Chinese Science Bulletin2012,57,25: | 9 |
| 2 | Optimization Strategies for Selective CO_(2) Electroreduction to Fuels显示文摘Capturing CO_(2) from the atmosphere and converting it into fuels are an effi cient strategy to stop the deteriorating greenhouse eff ect and alleviate the energy crisis.Among various CO_(2) conversion approaches,electrocatalytic CO_(2) reduction reaction(CO_(2) RR)has received extensive attention because of its mild operating conditions.However,the high onset potential,low selectivity toward multi-carbon products and poor cruising ability of CO_(2) RR impede its development.To regulate product distribution,previous studies performed electrocatalyst modifi cation using several universal methods,including composition manipulation,morphology control,surface modifi cation,and defect engineering.Recent studies have revealed that the cathode and electrolytes infl uence the selectivity of CO_(2) RR via pH changes and ionic eff ects,or by directly participating in the reduction pathway as cocatalysts.This review summarizes the state-of-the-art optimization strategies to effi ciently enhance CO_(2) RR selectivity from two main aspects,namely the cathode electrocatalyst and the electrolyte. | Yangfang Ling Qinglang Ma Yifu Yu Bin Zhang | 2021 | Transactions of Tianjin University2021,27,3: | 6 |
| 3 | Predictive value of MGMT promoter methylation on the survival of TMZ treated IDH-mutant glioblastoma显示文摘Objective:O6 methylguanine-DNA methyltransferase(MGMT)promoter methylation is a biomarker widely used to predict the sensitivity of IDH-wildtype glioblastoma to temozolomide therapy.Given that the IDH status has critical effects on the survival and epigenetic features of glioblastoma,we aimed to assess the role of MGMT promoter methylation in IDH-mutant glioblastoma.Methods:This study included 187 IDH-mutant glioblastomas and used 173 IDH-wildtype glioblastomas for comparison.KaplanMeier curves and multivariate Cox regression were used to study the predictive effects.Results:Compared with IDH-wildtype glioblastomas,IDH-mutant glioblastomas showed significantly higher(P<0.0001)MGMT promoter methylation.We demonstrated that MGMT promoter methylation status,as determined by a high cutoff value(≥30%)in pyrosequencing,could be used to significantly stratify the survival of 50 IDH-mutant glioblastomas receiving temozolomide therapy(cohort A);this result was validated in another cohort of 25 IDH-mutant glioblastomas(cohort B).The median progression-free survival and median overall survival in cohort A were 9.33 and 13.76 months for unmethylated cases,and 18.37 and 41.61 months for methylated cases,and in cohort B were 6.97 and 9.10 months for unmethylated cases,and 23.40 and 26.40 months for methylated cases.In addition,we confirmed that the MGMT promoter methylation was significantly(P=0.0001)correlated with longer OS in IDH-mutant patients with GBM,independently of age,gender distribution,tumor type(primary or recurrent/secondary),and the extent of resection.Conclusions:MGMT promoter methylation has predictive value in IDH-mutant glioblastoma,but its cutoff value should be higher than that for IDH-wildtype glioblastoma. | Ruichao Chai Guanzhang Li Yuqing Liu Kenan Zhang Zheng Zhao Fan Wu Yuzhou Chang Bo Pang Jingjun Li Yangfang Li Tao Jiang Yongzhi Wang | 2021 | Cancer Biology & Medicine2021,18,1: | 2 |
| 4 | Plasma structures inside boundary layers of magnetic clouds显示文摘We analyze the plasma structures for 50 mag- netic cloud boundary layers (BLs) which were observed by the spacecraft WIND from February, 1995 to June 2003. Main discoveries are: (ⅰ) The BL is a non-pressure balanced structure, its total pressure, PT,L, (the thermal pressure, Pth,L, plus the magnetic pressure, PM,L) is generally less than the total pressure PT,S and PT,C of the front solar wind (SW) and the following magnetic clouds (MC), respectively. The rising of the Pth,L inside the BLs is often not enough to compensate the declining of PM,L; (ⅱ) The ratio of electron and proton temperatures, (Te/Tp)L, inside the BLs is offen less than (Te/Tp)s and (Te/Tp)c in the SW and the MC, respectively, be- cause the heating of proton is more obvious than that of elec- tron; and (ⅲ) The reversal jet is observed in 80% BLs inves- tigated, in which the reversal jets from all of three directions (±Vx, ±Vy, ±Vz), were observed in ≈25% BLs. These basic characteristics could be associated with a possible magnetic reconnection process inside the BLs. The results above suggest that the cloud BL owns the plasma structures different from those in the SW and MC.
