| 1 | Genomic insights into the fast growth of paulownias and the formation of Paulownia witches' broom显示文摘Paulownias are among the fastest growing trees in the world,but they often suffer tremendous loss of wood production due to infection by Paulownia witches'broom(PaWB)phytoplasmas.In this study,we have sequenced and assembled a high-quality nuclear genome of Paulownia fortunei,a commonly cultivated paulownia species.The assembled genome of P.fortunei is 511.6 Mb in size,with 93.2%of its sequences anchored to 20 pseudo-chromosomes,and it contains 31985 protein-coding genes.Phylogenomic analyses show that the family Paulowniaceae is sister to a clade composed of Phrymaceae and Orobanchaceae.Higher photosynthetic efficiency is achieved by integrating C3 photosynthesis and the crassulacean acid metabolism pathway,which may contribute to the extremely fast growth habit of paulownia trees.Comparative transcriptome analyses reveal modules related to cambial growth and development,photosynthesis,and defense responses.Additional genome sequencing of PaWB phytoplasma,combined with functional analyses,indicates that the effector PaWB-SAP54 interacts directly with Paulownia PfSPLa,which in turn causes the degradation of PfSPLa by the ubiquitin-mediated pathway and leads to the formation of witches'broom.Taken together,these results provide significant insights into the biology of paulownias and the regulatory mechanism for the formation of PaWB. | Yabing Cao Guiling Sun Xiaoqiao Zhai Pingluo Xu Liming Ma Minjie Deng Zhenli Zhao Haibo Yang Yanpeng Dong Zhonghai Shang Yujie Lv Lijun Yan Haifang Liu Xibing Cao Bingbing Li Zhe Wang Xiaogai Zhao Haiyan Yu Fan Wang Wen Ma Jinling Huang Guoqiang Fan | 2021 | Molecular Plant2021,14,10: | 7 |
| 2 | Electrostatic self-assembly of MXene and edge-rich CoAl layered double hydroxide on molecular-scale with superhigh volumetric performances显示文摘It is highly desirable to design and synthesize two-dimensional nanostructured electrode materials with high electrical conductivity,large electrolyte-accessible surface area and more exposed active sites for energy storage applications.Herein,MXene/Co Al-LDH heterostructure has been prepared through electrostatic ordered hetero-assembly of monolayer MXene and edge-rich Co Al-LDH nanosheets in a faceto-face manner on molecular-scale for supercapacitor applications.Benefiting from the unique structure,strong interfacial interaction and synergistic effects between MXene and Co Al-LDH nanosheets,the electrical conductivity and exposed electrolyte-accessible active sites are significantly enhanced.The asprepared MXene/Co Al-LDH-80%(ML-80)film exhibits high volumetric capacity of 2472 C cm-3 in 3 M KOH electrolyte with high rate capability of 70.6%at 20 A g-1.Notably,to the best of our knowledge,the high volumetric capacity is the highest among other previously reported values for supercapacitors in aqueous electrolytes.Furthermore,our asymmetric supercapacitor device fabricated with ML-80 and MXene/graphene composite as cathode and anode,respectively,exhibits impressive volumetric energy density of 85.4 Wh L-1 with impressive cycling stability of 94.4%retention ratio after 30,000 continuous charge/discharge cycles. | Hao Niu Xue Yang Qian Wang Xiaoyan Jing Kui Cheng Kai Zhu Ke Ye Guiling Wang Dianxue Cao Jun Yan | 2020 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2020,29,7: | 6 |

| 7 | Exercise promotes angiogenesis by enhancing endothelial cell fatty acid utilization via liver-derived extracellular vesicle miR-122-5p显示文摘Background:Angiogenesis constitutes a major mechanism responsible for exercise-induced beneficial effects.Our previous study identified a cluster of differentially expressed extracellular vesicle microRNAs(miRNAs)after exercise and found that some of them act as exerkines.However,whether these extracellular vesicle miRNAs mediate the exercise-induced angiogenesis remains unknown.Methods:A 9-day treadmill training was used as an exercise model in C57BL/6 mice.Liver-specific adeno-associated virus 8 was used to knock down microRNA-122-5p(miR-122-5p).Human umbilical vein endothelial cells were used in vitro.Results:Among these differentially expressed extracellular vesicle miRNAs,miR-122-5p was identified as a potent pro-angiogenic factor that activated vascular endothelial growth factor signaling and promoted angiogenesis both in vivo and in vitro.Exercise increased circulating levels of miR-122-5p,which was produced mainly by the liver and shuttled by extracellular vesicles in mice.Inhibition of circulating miR-122-5p or liver-specific knockdown of miR-122-5p significantly abolished the exercise-induced pro-angiogenic effect in skeletal muscles,and exerciseimproved muscle performance in mice.Mechanistically,miR-122-5p promoted angiogenesis through shifting substrate preference to fatty acids in endothelial cells,and miR-122-5p upregulated endothelial cell fatty-acid utilization by targeting 1-acyl-sn-glycerol-3-phosphate acyltransferase(AGPAT1).In addition,miR-122-5p increased capillary density in perilesional skin tissues and accelerated wound healing in mice.Conclusion:These findings demonstrated that exercise promotes angiogenesis through upregulation of liver-derived extracellular vesicle miR-122-5p,which enhances fatty acid utilization by targeting AGPAT1 in endothelial cells,highlighting the therapeutic potential of miR-122-5p in tissue repair. | Jing Lou Jie Wu Mengya Feng Xue Dang Guiling Wu Hongyan Yang Yan Wang Jia Li Yong Zhao Changhong Shi Jiankang Liu Lin Zhao Xing Zhang Feng Gao | 2022 | Journal of Sport and Health Science2022,11,4: | 4 |
| 8 | Three Types of Spatial Function Zoning in Key Ecological Function Areas Based on Ecological and Economic Coordinated Development: A Case Study of Tacheng Basin, China显示文摘Three types of spatial function zoning is an effective measure for regional environmental protection and orderly development.For ecological and economic coordinated development, spatial function zones should be divided scientifically to clear its direction of development and protection. Therefore, based on ecological constraints, a beneficial discussion would be about the key ecological function areas adopting the concept of ecological protection restriction and supporting socioeconomic development for spatial function zoning. In this paper, the researchers, taking Tacheng Basin, Xinjiang of China as an example, choose township as basic research unit and set up an evaluation index system from three aspects, namely, ecological protection suitability, agricultural production suitability, and urban development suitability, which are analyzed by using spatial analysis functions and exclusive matrix method. | 18 | A new catalyst for urea oxidation: NiCo2S4 nanowires modified 3D carbon sponge显示文摘Urea oxidation is a significant reaction for utilizing urea-rich wastewater or human urine as sustainable power sources which can ease the water eutrophication while generate electricity. A direct urea-hydrogen peroxide fuel cell is a new kind of fuel cell employing urea as fuel and hydrogen peroxide as oxidant which possesses a larger cell voltage. Herein, this work tries to promote the kinetics process of urea oxidation by preparing low-cost and high-efficient NiCo2S4 nanowires modified carbon sponge electrode. The carbon sponge used in this work with a similar three-dimensional multi-channel structure to Ni foam, is prepared by carbonizing recycled polyurethane sponge which is also a process of recycling waste. The performance of the prepared catalyst in an alkaline solution is investigated in a three-electrode system.With the introduction of Co element to the catalyst, a reduced initial urea oxidation potential and a high performance are obtained. Furthermore, a direct urea-hydrogen peroxide fuel cell is assembled using the NiCo2S4 nanowires modified carbon sponge anode.
