2Phase-response synchronization in neuronal population显示文摘In this study,we have formulated the phase description of the neuronal oscillator with non-instantaneous synaptic inputs and external periodic stimulus by using the phase sensitivity function.By numerical simulation,we have found that the phase of a neuronal oscillator undergoes periodic evolution or locked state,which is determined by the synaptic time constant.The synaptic time constant is also an important condition under which the global network is synchronized.When the synaptic time constant is relatively small,perfectly synchronized behavior quickly occurs in the neuronal population.As the synaptic time constant becomes slightly larger,periodic synchronization emerges in the neuronal population.However,synchronized activity in the neuronal population is lost for larger synaptic time constant.The external periodic stimulus can change the synchronization patterns in the neuronal population.With a weak low-frequency stimulus,the neuronal populations quick synchronized bursting;whereas a high-frequency stimulus can produce synchronized overlapping bursting.We have also found that neuronal oscillators with type-II phase response curves are more susceptible to synchronization than those with type-I phase response curves.JIAO XianFa ZHU DanFeng 2014Science China(Technological Sciences)2014,57,5:5
3Optimized design and performance evaluation of an electric cup-chain potato metering device显示文摘The cup-chain metering device is commonly used in potato planters despite its problems of missing-seeding,double-seeding and ground wheel sliding.A mechanical-electrical design was developed for planters to resolve these problems.A regression experiment was conducted with three factors(chain speed,chain tightening distance and cup tilting)and two indicators(missing-seeding rate and double-seeding rate).Based on the results of regression experiment,a numerical regression model was built and a multi-objective optimization method was used to get an optimal solution.Subsequently,the optimized device was tested in the field.The device design presents a tilting seed cup with a guard plate and an electric control system.The laboratory test showed that the missing-seeding rate increased with the chain speed.It initially decreases and then increases with the chain tightening distance and cup tilting angle.The double-seeding rate declines with chain speed.It increases initially and declines afterward with the chain tightening distance.The optimization resulted in a missing-seeding rate of 4.39%and a double-seeding rate of 8.78%under the parameters of 0.32 m/s seeding speed,0.94×10-3 m tightening distance,and 12.5°cup tilting angle.The field test demonstrated that electric control instead of ground wheel-driven chain enables fast seeding and precise intra-row seeding distance.Niu Kang Fang Xianfa Liu Yangchun Lü Chengxu Yuan Yanwei 2017International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2017,10,2:5

11Design and optimization of an automatic hydraulic steer-by-wire system for an agricultural chassis显示文摘To meet the requirements of fast steering at low vehicle speed and slow steering at high vehicle speed,the automatic steering of agricultural chassis must control both the wheel steering angle and the steering angle’s angular speed.This study applied hydraulic steer-by-wire technology to the automatic steering control of agricultural chassis.First,the transmission mechanism of the designed steering system was optimized.According to the rule of least squares,aiming at the minimum sum of squares of errors between 10 ideal outer wheel angles and real outer wheel angles,the optimal solution of hole spacing on both sides of the steering hydraulic cylinder piston rod was 925 mm.The outer wheel angle error of the optimized steering mechanism throughout the steering stroke was less than 0.15°.Additionally,a hydraulic steer-by-wire system was developed,and the parameters of its critical components were calculated.Then,the compound control strategy of the steering cylinder piston rod displacement and moving speed was formulated for this automatic steering system.The entire control system included a valve control signal calculation model,an initial velocity calculation model,a correction velocity calculation model,and an attenuation velocity calculation model,and the formulae of each model were deduced.Based on the optimized parameters and the developed control strategy,a simulation model was built in AMESim,and simulation results showed that the proposed control strategy could achieve simultaneous controls of piston rod displacement and speed at different vehicle speeds and loads.The horizontal and vertical displacements of the right wheel center were plotted for typical vehicle speeds and steering commands.The results of this study provided a new idea for the application of hydraulic steer-by-wire technology in the automatic steering of agricultural chassis.Yinhao Jin Yanwei Yuan Licheng Zhu Decheng Wang Bo Zhao Xianfa Fang 2022International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2022,15,1:1

19Distinct enhancer signatures in the mouse gastrula delineate progressive cell fate continuum during embryo development显示文摘Primary germ layers have the potential to form all tissues in the mature organism,and their formation during gastrulation requires precise epigenetic modulation of both proximal and distal regulatory elements.Previous studies indicated that spatial and temporal patterns of gene expression in the gastrula predispose individual regions to distinct cell fates.However,the underlying epigenetic mechanisms remain largely unexplored.Here,we profile the spatiotemporal landscape of the epigenome and transcriptome of the mouse gastrula.We reveal the asynchronous dynamics of proximal chromatin states during germ layer formation as well as unique gastrula-specific epigenomic features of regulatory elements,which have strong usage turnover dynamics and clear germ layerspecific signatures.Importantly,we also find that enhancers around organogenetic genes,which are weakly expressed at the gastrulation stage,are frequently pre-marked by histone H3 lysine 27 acetylation(H3K27ac)in the gastrula.By using the transgenic mice and genome editing system,we demonstrate that a pre-marked enhancer,which is located in the intron of a brain-specific gene 25W009E07Rik,exhibits specific enhancer activity in the ectoderm and future brain tissue,and also executes important function during mouse neural differentiation.Taken together,our study provides the comprehensive epigenetic information for embryonic patterning during mouse gastrulation,demonstrates the importance of gastrula pre-marked enhancers in regulating the correct development of the mouse embryo,and thus broadens the current understanding of mammalian embryonic development and related diseases.Xianfa Yang Boqiang Hu Jiaoyang Liao Yunbo Qiao Yingying Chen Yun Qian Su Feng Fang Yu Ji Dong Yu Hou He Xu Ran Wang Guangdun Peng Jinsong Li Fucnou Tang Naihe Jing 2019Cell Research2019,29,11:1
