To date, more than fourteen AIV subtypes that are able to infect human beings have been documented. | 3 | Source-to-sink of Late carboniferous Ordos Basin: Constraints on crustal accretion margins converting to orogenic belts bounding the North China Block显示文摘The Upper Carboniferous Benxi Formation of the Ordos Basin is the lowest strata overlying Middle Ordovician above the major ca.150-Myr sedimentary gap that characterizes the entire North China Block(NCB).We apply an integrated analysis of stratigraphy,petrography,and U-Pb dates and Hf isotopes on detrital zircons to investigate its provenance and relationships to the progressive collisions that formed the Xing’an-Mongolia Orogenic Belt to the north and the Qinling Orogenic Belt to the south.The results show that,in addition to regional patterns of siliciclastic influx from these new uplifted sources,the Benxi Formation is composed of two sequences corresponding to long-term glacial-interglacial cycles during the Moscovian to lower Gzhelian stages which drove global changes of eustatic sea level and weathering.The spatio-temporal distribution of sediment isopachs and facies indicate there were two sediment-infilling pulses,during which the southern and the northern Ordos Basin developed tidal-reworked deltas.The age spectra from detrital zircons,trace element patterns and εNd(t)values reveal that the siliciclastics forming the southern delta was sourced in the Qinling Orogenic Belt,whereas the northern delta was derived from the Xing’an-Mongolia Orogenic Belt.The source-to-sink evolution of this Upper Paleozoic system records the progressive development of orogenic belts and uplifts forming on the southern and northern margins of the NCB prior to its collisions with the South China and the Siberian plates,respectively. | Anqing Chen Hao Zou James G.Ogg Shuai Yang Mingcai Hou Xiuwei Jiang Shenglin Xu Xiaoxing Zhang | 2020 | Geoscience Frontiers2020,11,6: | 3 |
| 4 | NOx Emission Reduction Technology for Marine Engine Based on Tier-Ⅲ:A Review显示文摘The development of maritime trade has greatly promoted the development of diesel engines.However,with the increasingly serious environmental problems,more and more attention has been paid to the exhaust emissions of high-power marine diesel engines.The restrictions on SOx have been implemented globally,and the limitation of the NO,will be the next priority.This paper illustrates(a)Principle and research progress of NOx emissions-reduction technology of marine diesel engine;(b)Summary of advantages and disadvantages among various reduction technologies and their reduction effects;(c)The application effect of mainstream technology on board.Firstly,since exhaust gas recirculation(EGR)can achieve Tier-Ⅲ directly from Tier-Ⅰ without considering the increased fuel consumption.It is deemed as the most promising technology to reduce emissions by controlling combustion condition.However,EGR has shortcomings of excessive increase in ftiel consumption and generation of waste water,which need to be solved immediately.Secondly,selective catalytic reduction(SCR)is the most effective and straightforward means to achieve Tier-Ⅲ.Despite of the continuous optimization of SCR unit volume,the problem of scrap catalyst seriously limits its wide application.How to match the supercharger more efficiently is a key factor in choosing between high and low pressure SCR.Thirdly,nature gas(NG)engines are capable of achieving a reduction in NOx,but in order to meet the requirements of Tier-Ⅲ,it still needs to be assisted by other technologies.The emissions of hydrocarbon(HC)and CO in NG engines are huge defects that must be solved.Lastly,technologies such as the Miller cycle,Two-stage supercharging and mixed-water combustion can also reduce emissions but were rarely used alone.These technologies can be combined with EGR,SCR and NG engines to optimize the enginesJ economy and emission characteristics. | LU Xiuwei GENG Peng CHEN Yunyue | 2020 | Journal of Thermal Science2020,29,5: | 2 |
| 5 | The impact of UV treatment on microbial control and DBPs formation in full-scale drinking water systems in northern China显示文摘To manage potential microbial risks and meet increasingly strict drinking water health standards,UV treatment has attracted increasing attention for use in drinking water systems in China.However,the effects of UV treatment on microbial control and disinfection byproducts(DBPs)formation in real municipal drinking water systems are poorly understood.Here,we collected water samples from three real drinking water systems in Beijing and Tianjin to investigate the impacts of UV treatment on microbial control and DBP formation.We employed heterotrophic plate count(HPC),flow cytometry(FCM),quantitative PCR analysis,and high-throughput sequencing to measure microorganisms in the samples.Different trends were observed between HPC and total cell count(measured by FCM),indicating that a single indicator could not reflect the real degree of biological re-growth in drinking water distribution systems(DWDSs).A significant increase in the 16S rRNA gene concentration was observed when the UV system was stopped.Besides,the bacterial community composition was similar at the phylum level but differed markedly at the genera level among the three DWDSs.Some chlorine-resistant bacteria,including potential pathogens(e.g.,Acinetobacter)showed a high relative abundance when the UV system was turned off.It can be concluded that UV treatment can mitigate microbial re-growth to some extent.Finally,UV treatment had a limited influence on the formation of DBPs,including trihalomethanes,haloacetic acids,and nitrogenated DBPs.The findings of this study may help to understand the performance of UV treatment in real drinking water systems. | Xiuwei Ao Zhongyun Chen Simiao Li Chen Li Zedong Lu Wenjun Sun | 2020 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2020,32,1: | 2 |

| 12 | A NSZT Method for Frequency Estimation and Anti-noise Performance Analysis显示文摘Among all the frequency estimation algorithm, the spectrum zooming method has superiority for high resolution and excellent anti-noise performance,but it needs more computational resource. The typical spectrum zooming methods include Zoom fast Fourier transform(ZFFT), Chirp-Z transform(CZT) and zeropadding, which are all uniform spectrum zooming methods. A Nonuniform spectrum zooming transform(NSZT)method with higher accuracy, better anti-noise ability and higher efficiency is presented. To verify the proposed method, the Monte-Carlo simulations are performed. Results are presented and compared with the Cramer-Rao bound(CRB) method, showing that the proposed algorithm has the least Mean square error(MSE) among these algorithms. | 13 | Quantitative analysis of irrigation water productivity in the middle reaches of Heihe River Basin, Northwest China显示文摘With the growing shortage of surface water resources,it is of great significance for improving the irrigation water productivity(IWP)to ensure the water and food security.The contribution of the driving factors of the IWP and the rational regulation of the input factors of agricultural production is required.In this paper,118 and 80 sampling points were selected in Pingchuan and Liaoquan irrigation districts(PLID,the spacing of sampling point is approximately 1 km)and the middle reaches of the Heihe River basin(MHRB,the spacing of sampling point is approximately 10 km),respectively.Soil characteristics and management measures near the sampling points were obtained.Results showed that the average value of the IWP in MHRB was 1.67 kg/m3,with a moderate heterogeneity in the space.The main driving factors of IWP were irrigation,fertilization and planting density.On the PLID,the contribution rates of soil factors and management measures to IWP were 20.6%and 35.2%,respectively,and the contribution of soil factors to IWP increased to 43.8%in the MHRB,while the contribution rate of management measures decreased to 24.8%.It shows that in a small irrigation districts,from the perspective of farmers,the improvement of IWP should be mainly controlled by management measures,while in the large area of watershed scale,the spatial differences in soil factors also need to be considered by the government management departments,when they want to increase IWP through regulating management measures. | Donghao Li Taisheng Du Yue Cao Manoj Kumar Shukla Di Wu Xiuwei Guo Shichao Chen | 2019 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2019,12,5: | 0 |
