| 2 | Effects of Machine Tool Configuration on Its Dynamics Based on Orthogonal Experiment Method显示文摘In order to analyze the influence of configuration parameters on dynamic characteristics of machine tools in the working space, the configuration parameters have been suggested based on the orthogonal experiment method. Dynamic analysis of a milling machine, which is newly designed for producing turbine blades, has been conducted by utilizing the modal synthesis method. The finite element model is verified and updated by experimental modal analysis (EMA) of the machine tool. The result gained by modal synthesis method is compared with whole-model finite element method (FEM) result as well. According to the orthogonal experiment method, four configuration parameters of machine tool are considered as four factors for dynamic characteristics. The influence of configuration parameters on the first three natural frequencies is obtained by range analysis. It is pointed out that configuration parameter is the most important factor affecting the fundamental frequency of machine tools, and configuration parameter has less effect on lower-order modes of the system than others. The combination of configuration parameters which makes the fundamental frequency reach the maximum value is provided. | 4 | Correlation of the quantifiable parameters of blood flow pattern derived with dynamic CT in solitary bronchogenic adenocarcinoma显示文摘Objective:To evaluate the correlation of the quantifiable parameters of blood flow pattern derived with dynamic CT in solitary bronchogenic adenocarcinoma(SBA).Methods:46 patients with solitary bronchogenic adenocarcinomas (SBA)(diameter≤4 cm)underwent multi-location dynamic contrast material-enhanced(nonionic contrast material was administrated via the antecubital vein at a rate of 4 mL/s by using an autoinjector 90 mL,4×5 mm or 4×2.5 mm scanning mode with stable table were performed)serial CT.Precontrast and postcontrast attenuation on every scan was recorded.Perfusion (PBA),peak height(PHBA),ratio of peak height of the SPN to that of the aorta(BA-to-A ratio)and mean transit time(MTT)were calculated.The correlation between peak height of the aorta(PHA)and parameters of the SBA(PHBA,BA-to-A ratio,PBA,and MTT)and those among parameters of the SBA were assessed by means of linear regression analysis.Regression equation among parameters of the SBA were obtain by means of stepwise regression.Results:The correlation between the SBA peak height(PHBA,36.78 HU±12.02)and the aortic peak height(PHA)was significant(r=0.506,P<0.0001).No significant cor- relation was found between the BA-to-Apeak height ratio(15.33%±4.55)and the aortic peak height(r=0.130,P=0.388> 0.05)as it was between the SBA perfusion(PBA,31.86 mL/min/100 g±9.74)and the aortic peak height(r=0.049,P=0.749 >0.05).The SBA perfusion correlated with the PHBA and the BA-to-A peak height ratio(r=0.394,P=0.007<0.05;r=0.407, P=0.005<0.05).The PHBA correlated positively with the BA-to-A peak height ratio(r=0.781,P<0.0001).Mean transit time was 14.84 s±5.52.PBA=18.500+0.872×BA-to-A ratio.BA-to-A ratio=4.467+0.295×PHBA.Conclusion:The linear correlation between the SBA perfusion and BA-to-Aratio and that between BA-to-Aratio and PHBA can be expressed by equation. | 5 | Genotypic variation in phosphorus acquisition from sparingly soluble P sources is related to root morphology and root exudates in Brassica napus显示文摘Genotypic variations in the adaptive response to low-phosphorus(P) stress and P-uptake efficiency have been widely reported in many crops.We conducted a pot experiment to evaluate the P-acquisition ability of two rapeseed(Brassica napus) genotypes supplied with two sparingly soluble sources of P,Al-P and Fe-P.Then,the root morphology,proton concentrations,and carboxylate content were investigated in a solution experiment to examine the genotypic difference in P-acquisition efficiency.Both genotypes produced greater biomass and accumulated more P when supplied with Al-P than when supplied with Fe-P.The P-efficient genotype 102 showed a significantly greater ability to deplete sparingly soluble P from the rhizosphere soil because of its greater biomass and higher P uptake compared with those of the P-inefficient genotype 105.In the solution experiment,the P-efficient genotype under low-P conditions developed dominant root morphological traits,and it showed more intensive rhizosphere acidification because of greater H+ efflux,higher H+-ATPase activity,and greater exudation of carboxylates than the P-inefficient genotype.Thus,a combination of morphological and physiological mechanisms contributed to the genotypic variation in the utilization of different sparingly soluble P sources in B.napus. | ZHANG HaiWei HUANG Yu YE XiangSheng XU FangSen | 2011 | Science China(Life Sciences)2011,54,12: | 6 |

| 9 | Laboratory Investigation into the Evaporation of Natural-Gas Condensate Oils: Hints for the Sanchi Oil Spill显示文摘The Sanchi oil tanker collision in the East China Sea on January 6th, 2018 has caused worldwide attention due to its uniqueness. A considerable amount of highly volatile natural-gas condensate oil was spilled, burned and sank with the Sanchi tanker, this entirely new kind of maritime disaster has posed massive unknowns to the public. In this study, for better understanding of the evaporative behavior of condensate oils, two condensate oils were investigated under various laboratory conditions. The overall result demonstrates that the evaporation of condensate oils is highly dependent on the air-exposed time and the total loss of condensate oils could be more than 90% within a short time. However, a certain amount of the high-molecular weight and toxic oil contents such as phenanthrenes still highly remain in the aquatic system even after a long evaporation process, indicating their detrimental potentials to the aquatic organisms. | 11 | Classification of facial wrinkles among Chinese women显示文摘It is generally recognized that Caucasians and Asians have different skin aging features.The aim of this study was to develop a facial wrinkle grading scale for Chinese women.Standard photographs were taken of 242 Chinese women.Six sets of 0 to 9 wrinkle scales with reference photographs and descriptions were selected,including grading scales for resting and hyperkinetic crow's feet,frontalis lines,glabellar frown lines,and nasolabial folds.To identify the scale by objective quantitative measurement,skin surface measurements from the Visioscan~ VC98 were used.To test the reliability and validity of our wrinkle scale,a multi-rater consensus method was used.A double-blind,randomized,vehicle-controlled 12-week study was conducted to use this clinical photo-score to evaluate the efficacy and safety of Centella triterpenes cream~ in treating crow's feet.A newly developed 10-point photographic and descriptive scale emerged from this study.The final atlas of these photographs contained a total of 6 sets with 10 pictures each.From 0 to 9,surface evaluation of smoothness(SEsm) parametric measurements decreased progressively,indicating that the scale increased inversely.Weighted kappa coefficients for intra-assessor were between 0.75-0.87.The overall Kendall's coefficient is 0.86 on the first rating and 0.87 on the second rating.Thirtysix volunteers were recruited and 35 subjects completed a 12-week trial.Clinical photo-score by investigator showed a significant difference(P < 0.05) between the treatment side and control side after 4 weeks.Use of these scales in clinical settings to evaluate facial wrinkles in Asians individuals is recommended. | Jiechen Zhang Wei Hou Suying Feng Xiangsheng Chen Hongwei Wang | 2017 | The Journal of Biomedical Research2017,31,2: | 2 |

| 13 | A joint call for actions to advance taxonomy in China显示文摘Taxonomy plays an important role in understanding the origin, evolution, and ecological functionality of biodiversity. There are large number of unknown species yet to be described by taxonomists, which together with their ecosystem services cannot be effectively protected prior to description. Despite this, taxonomy has been increasingly underrated insufficient funds and permanent positions to retain young talents. Further, the impact factordriven evaluation systems in China exacerbate this downward trend, so alternative evaluation metrics are urgently necessary. When the current generation of outstanding taxonomists retires,there will be too few remaining taxonomists left to train the next generation. Methods: Seventy-eight patients with SPNs (diameter ≤ 4 cm; 68 malignant; 10 active inflammatory) were underwent multi-location dynamic contrast mate-rial-enhanced serial CT (nonionic contrast material was administrated via the antecubital vein at a rate of 4 mL/s by using an autoinjector, 4 × 5 mm or 4 × 2.5 mm transverse scanning mode with stable table were performed). Sixteen series CT scans (16 scans each for the first and second series and one scan each for the rest series) were obtained during 9 min scanning period. Precontrast and postcontrast attenuation on every scan was recorded. Perfusion, peak height and ratio of peak height of the SPN to that of the aorta were calculated. Perfusion was calculated from the maximum gradient of the time-attenuation curve and the peak height of the aorta. Results: No statistically significant difference in the peak height was found between malignant (35.79 ± 10.76 Hu) and active inflammatory (39.76 ± 4.59 Hu) (t = 1.148, P = 0.255 > 0.05). SPN-to-aorta ratio (14.27% ± 4.37) and perfusion value (30.18 mL/min/100 g ± 9.58) in malignant SPNs were significantly lower than those of active inflammatory (18.51% ± 2.71, 63.44 mL/min/100 g ± 43.87) (t = 2.978, P = 0.004 < 0.05; t = 5.590, P < 0.0001). Conclusion: The quantitative information about blood flow patterns of malignant and active inflammatory SPNs is different .
