1Spindle Thermal Error Optimization Modeling of a Five-axis Machine Tool显示文摘Aiming at the problem of low machining accuracy and uncontrollable thermal errors of NC machine tools, spindle thermal error measurement, modeling and compensation of a two turntable five-axis machine tool are researched. Measurement experiment of heat sources and thermal errors are carried out, and GRA(grey relational analysis) method is introduced into the selection of temperature variables used for thermal error modeling. In order to analyze the influence of different heat sources on spindle thermal errors, an ANN(artificial neural network) model is presented, and ABC(artificial bee colony) algorithm is introduced to train the link weights of ANN, a new ABCNN(Artificial bee colony-based neural network) modeling method is proposed and used in the prediction of spindle thermal errors. In order to test the prediction performance of ABC-NN model, an experiment system is developed, the prediction results of LSR(least squares regression), ANN and ABC-NN are compared with the measurement results of spindle thermal errors. Experiment results show that the prediction accuracy of ABC-NN model is higher than LSR and ANN, and the residual error is smaller than 3 lm, the new modeling method is feasible. 2An efficient flood dynamic visualization approach based on 3D printing and augmented reality显示文摘Flood visualization is an effective and intuitive tool for representing flood information from abstract spatiotemporal data.With the growing demand for flood disaster visualizations and mitigation,augmented flood visualizations that support decision makers’perspectives are needed,which can be enhanced by emerging augmented reality(AR)and 3D printing technologies.This paper proposes an innovative flood AR visualization method based on a 3D-printed terrain model and investigates essential techniques,such as the suitable size calculation of the terrain models,the adaptive processing of flood data,and hybridizing virtual flood and terrain models.A prototype experimental system(PES)based on the proposed method and a comparison experimental system(CES)based on a virtual terrain are developed to conduct comparative experiments,which combine the system performance and questionnaire method to evaluate the efficiency and usability of the proposed method.The statistical results indicate that the method is useful for assisting participants in understanding the flood hazard and providing a more intuitive and realistic visual experience compared with that of the traditional AR flood visualization method.The frame rate is stable at 60 frames per second(FPS),which means that the proposed method is more efficient than the traditional AR flood visualization method.Guoyong Zhang Jianhua Gong Yi Li Jun Sun Bingli Xu Dong Zhang Jieping Zhou Ling Guo Shen Shen Bingxiao Yin 2020International Journal of Digital Earth2020,13,11:4
3Translational Regulation of Metabolic Dynamics during Effector-Triggered Immunity显示文摘Recent studies have shown that global translational reprogramming is an early activation event in pattern-triggered immunity,when plants recognize microbe-associated molecular patterns.However,it is not fully known whether translational regulation also occurs in subsequent immune responses,such as effector-triggered immunity(ETI).In this study,we performed genome-wide ribosome profiling in Arabidopsis upon RPS2-mediated ETI activation and discovered that specific groups of genes were translationally regulated,mostly in coordination with transcription.These genes encode enzymes involved in aromatic amino acid,phenylpropanoid,camalexin,and sphingolipid metabolism.The functional significance of these components in ETI was confirmed by genetic and biochemical analyses.Our findings provide new insights into diverse translational regulation of plant immune responses and demonstrate that translational coordination of metabolic gene expression is an important strategy for ETI.Heejin Yoo George H.Greene Meng Yuan Guoyong Xu Derek Burton Lijing Liu Jorge Marques Xinnian Dong 2020Molecular Plant2020,13,1:4
4Grafting of thermoresponsive polymer from the surfaceof functionalized multiwalled carbon nanotubes via atom transfer radical polymerization显示文摘Multiwalled carbon nanotubes were oxidized with concentrated HNO3 and H2SO4 to introduce carbox-ylic groups onto carbon nanotubes surfaces. The oxidized carbon nanotubes were reacted subse-quently with thionyl chloride and 2-Hydroxylethyl-2′-bromoisobutyrate, producing MWNT-based macroinitiators, MWNT-Br, for the atom transfer radical polymerization of (N-isopropylacrylamide). FTIR, XPS, 1H NMR, Raman and TGA were used to characterize the resulting products and to determine the content of the water-soluble poly (N-isopropylacrylamide) chains in the product. The MWNTs grafted with PNIPAM chains have good solubility in distilled water; THF and CHCl3. TEM images of the samples provide direct evidence for the formation of a nanostructure that MWNTs coated with polymer layer. The produced MWNT-g-PNIPAM has a PNIPAM shell, which is very sensitive to the change of temperature. 8Template-mediated strategy to regulate hierarchically nitrogen-sulfur co-doped porous carbon as superior anode material for lithium capacity显示文摘Considering its rapid lithiation/delithiation process and robust capacitive energy storage,hierarchical porous carbon is regarded as a promising candidate for lithium-ion batteries(LIBs).However,it remains a great challenge to construct a porous structure and prevent structure stacking for carbon-based materials.Herein,a templatemediated approach is developed to synthesize hierarchical nitrogen-sulfur co-doped porous carbon(NSPC)using low-cost asphalt precursors.The strategy for synthesis uses g-C_(3)N_(4) and NaHCO_(3) as gaseous templates and NaCl as a solid template,which causes the formation of hierarchical porous carbon with a high specific surface area.The resultant porous structure and nitrogen-doping process can prevent the aggregation of nanosheets,maintain the structural stability upon cycling,and achieve rate-capable lithium storage.Serving as a LIBs anode,reversible specific capacities of the NSPC24 electrode reach 788 and 280 mAh·g^(-1) at 0.1 and 1 A·g^(-1),respectively.Furthermore,its specific capacity remains at 830 mAh·g^(-1) after 115 cycles at 0.1 A·g^(-1).Even after 500 cycles,high specific capacities of 727 mAh·g^(-1) at 0.5 A·g^(-1) and 624 mAh·g^(-1) at 1 A·g^(-1) are achieved,demonstrating excellent cycling performance.The gas-solid bifunctional template-mediated approach can guide the design of porous materials very well,meanwhile realizing the high value-added utilization of asphalt.Yun LI Wang YANG Hanlin LIU Zhiqiang TU Sai CHE Bo JIANG Chong XU Guang MA Guoyong HUANG Yongfeng LI 2022Frontiers of Materials Science2022,16,1:1

11Plant G proteins interact with endoplasmic reticulum luminal protein receptors to regulate endoplasmic reticulum retrieval显示文摘Maintaining endoplasmic reticulum(ER) homeostasis is essential for the production of biomolecules.ER retrieval, i.e., the retrograde transport of compounds from the Golgi to the ER, is one of the pathways that ensures ER homeostasis. However, the mechanisms underlying the regulation of ER retrieval in plants remain largely unknown. Plant ERD2-like proteins(ERD2 s) were recently suggested to function as ER luminal protein receptors that mediate ER retrieval. Here, we demonstrate that heterotrimeric G protein signaling is involved in ERD2-mediated ER retrieval. We show that ERD2 s interact with the heterotrimeric G protein Ga and Ggsubunits at the Golgi. Silencing of Ga, Gb, or Gg increased the retention of ER luminal proteins. Furthermore,overexpression of Ga, Gb, or Gg caused ER luminal proteins to escape from the ER, as did the co-silencing of ERD2 a and ERD2 b. 12Separation of Pd and Pt from highly acidic leach liquor of spent automobile catalysts with monothio-Cyanex 272 and trioctylamine显示文摘Platinum group metals(PGMs),especially Pd,Pt,and Rh,have drawn great attention due to their unique features.Direct separation of Pd and Pt from highly acidic automobile catalyst leach liquors is disturbed by various factors.This work investigates the effect of various parameters including the acidity,extractant concentration,phase ratio A/O,and diluents on the Pd and Pt extraction and their stripping behaviors.The results show that the Pd and Pt are successfully separated from simulated leach liquor of spent automobile catalysts with monothioCyanex 272 and trioctylamine(TOA).Monothio-Cyanex 272 shows strong extractability and specific selectivity for Pd,and only one single stage is needed to recover more than 99.9% of Pd,leaving behind all the Pt,Rh,and base metals of Fe,Mg,Ce,Ni,Cu,and Co in the raffinate.The loaded Pd is efficiently stripped by acidic thiourea solutions.TOA shows strong extractability for Pt and Fe at acidity of 6 mol·L^(–1) HCl.More than 99.9% of Pt and all of the Fe are extracted into the organic phase after two stages of countercurrent extraction.Diluted HCl easily scrubs the loaded base metals(Fe,Cu,and Co).The loaded Pt is efficiently stripped by 1.0 mol·L^(–1) thiourea and 0.05–0.1 mol·L^(–1) Na OH solutions.Monothio-Cyanex 272 and TOA can realize the separation of Pd and Pt from highly acidic leach liquor of spent automobile catalysts.Junlian Wang Lu Liu Wen Xu Hui Liu Guodong Xu Kun Huang Fengshan Yu Guoyong Huang 2023International Journal of Minerals,Metallurgy and Materials2023,30,5:1

15High ceramic content composite solid-state electrolyte films prepared via a scalable solvent-free process显示文摘The development of high-performance solid-state electrolyte(SSE)films is critical to the practical application of all-solid-state Li metal batteries(ASSLMBs).However,developing high-performance free-standing electrolyte films remains a challenging task.In this work,we demonstrate a novel scalable solvent-free process for fabricating high ceramic content composite solid-state electrolyte(HCCSE)films.Specifically speaking,a mixture of ceramic and polymer is dry mixed,fibered,and calendered into a free-standing porous ceramic film,on which polymer precursor is coated and polymerized to bridge the inorganic ceramic particles,resulting in a flexible HCCSE film with a ceramic content of up to 80 wt.%.High ceramic content not only leads to high ionic conductivity but also brings good mechanical properties;while the organic phase enables electrode|electrolyte interfacial stability.When Li_(10)GeP_(2)S_(12)(LGPS)and polymeric ionic liquid-based solid polymer electrolytes(PIL-SPEs)were used as the inorganic and organic phases,respectively,the room temperature ionic conductivity of the resulted HCCSE reaches 0.91 mS·cm−1.Based on this HCCSE,Li||Li symmetric battery cycled stably for more than 2,400 h with ultra-low overpotential,and ASSLMBs with different cathodes(LiFePO4 and sulfurized polyacrylonitrile(PAN-S))present small polarization and decent cyclability at room temperature.This work provides a novel scalable solvent-free strategy for preparing high-performance freestanding composite solid-state electrolyte(CSE)film for room temperature ASSLMBs.Daiqian Chen Chenji Hu Qi Chen Guoyong Xue Lingfei Tang Qingyu Dong Bowen Chen Fengrui Zhang Mingwen Gao Jingjing Xu Yanbin Shen Liwei Chen 2023Nano Research2023,16,3:0
16A depressant for marmatite flotation:Synthesis,characterisation and floatation performance显示文摘This study synthesised a zincic salt(ZS)as a depressant for marmatite-galena separation.The effect of ZS on the flotation of marmatite and galena was investigated through micro-flotation tests.88.89%of the galena was recovered and 83.39%of the marmatite was depressed with ZS dosage of 750 mg·L^(−1)at pH=4.The depression mechanism of ZS on marmatite was investigated by a variety of techniques,including adsorption measurements,Fourier transform infrared(FTIR),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopic(XPS)analysis,and time of flight secondary ion mass spectrometry(ToF-SIMS).Results of adsorption tests and FTIR reveal that ZS adsorbed on marmatite surface and impeded the subsequent adsorption of butyl xanthate(BX).The results of XPS and ToF-SIMS indicate that the ZnO_(2)^(3-)released by ZS could be chemisorbed on the marmatite surface and depress marmatite flotation.Tichen Wang Guiju Sun Jiushuai Deng Hongxiang Xu Guoyong Wang Mingzhen Hu Qizheng Qin Xiaohao Sun 2023International Journal of Minerals,Metallurgy and Materials2023,30,6:0

18Porous carbon spheres anode with the stable output of low delithiation plateau and constant delithiation ratio for lithium ion hybrid capacitor显示文摘Porous carbon spheres derived from the facile hydrothermal treatment associated with the calcination process exhibit the good spherical morphology and unique porous structure.For the Li-based half-cell test,porous carbon spheres electrode not only exhibits larger reversible capacities and better compatibility as compared to the widely-used graphite,but also provides stable delithiation plateaus under different current density.Additionally,the delithiation ratio below 1 V almost accounts for a constant value(around 70%)with the increase of current density,evidencing that Li intercalation storage is the dominant model and Li insertion/extraction processes are propitious.The lithium ion hybrid capacitor configured with S-doped mesoporous graphene and porous carbon spheres as cathode and anode,delivers satisfied energy and power densities(up to 177 Wh kg^(−1) and 12,303 W kg^(−1),respectively)as well as long-term cyclability,which is superior to the corresponding S-doped mesoporous graphene//graphite and activated carbon//porous carbon spheres.In addition,the developed synthesis strategy is in favor of the realization of the scalable production of porous carbon spheres.Mingzhen Wu Zipan Yang Shengping Li Xuejie Wang Chenggen Xu Rundan Lin Xilu Zhang Xinlong Ma Guoyong Huang Jinsen Gao 2021Particuology2021,19,5:0
19Amorphous Sn modified nitrogen-doped porous carbon nanosheets with rapid capacitive mechanism for highcapacity and fast-charging lithium-ion batteries显示文摘Sn-based materials are considered as a kind of potential anode materials for lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)owing to their high theoretical capacity.However,their use is limited by large volume expansion deriving from the lithiation/delithiation process.In this work,amorphous Sn modified nitrogen-doped porous carbon nanosheets(ASnNPCNs)are obtained.The synergistic effect of amorphous Sn and high edge-nitrogendoped level porous carbon nanosheets provides ASn-NPCNs with multiple advantages containing abundant defect sites,high specific surface area(214.9 m^(2)·g^(−1)),and rich hierarchical pores,which can promote the lithium-ion storage.Serving as the LIB anode,the as-prepared ASn-NPCNs-750 electrode exhibits an ultrahigh capacity of 1643 mAh·g^(−1) at 0.1 A·g^(−1),ultrafast rate performance of 490 mAh·g^(−1) at 10 A·g^(−1),and superior long-term cycling performance of 988 mAh·g^(−1) at 1 A·g^(−1) after 2000 cycles with a capacity retention of 98.9%.Furthermore,the in-depth electrochemical kinetic test confirms that the ultrahigh-capacity and fast-charging performance of the ASn-NPCNs750 electrode is ascribed to the rapid capacitive mechanism.These impressive results indicate that ASn-NPCNs-750 can be a potential anode material for high-capacity and fast-charging LIBs.Chong Xu Guang Ma Wang Yang Sai Che Neng Chen Ni Wu Bo Jiang Ye Wang Yankun Sun Sijia Liao Jiahao Yang Xiang Li Guoyong Huang Yongfeng Li 2023Frontiers of Materials Science2023,17,3:0
20Clinical features of 162 fatal cases of COVID-19:a multi-center retrospective study显示文摘Background:The coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)has affected approximately 2 million individuals worldwide;however,data regarding fatal cases have been limited.Objective:To report the clinical features of 162 fatal cases of COVID-19 from 5 hospitals in Wuhan between December 30,2019 and March 12,2020.Methods:The demographic data,signs and symptoms,clinical course,comorbidities,laboratory findings,computed tomographic(CT)scans,treatments,and complications of the patients with fatal cases were retrieved from electronic medical records.Results:The median patient age was 69.5(interquartile range:63.0–77.25)years,and 80%of the patients were over 61 years.A total of 112(69.1%)patients were men.Hypertension(45.1%)was the most common comorbidity,while 59(36.4%)patients had no comorbidity.At admission,131(81.9%)patients had severe or critical COVID-19,whereas 39(18.1%)patients with hypertension or chronic lung disease had moderate COVID-19.In total,126(77.8%)patients received antiviral treatment,while 132(81.5%)patients received glucocorticoid treatment.A total of 116(71.6%)patients were admitted to the intensive care unit(ICU),and 137(85.1%)patients received mechanical ventilation.Most patients received mechanical ventilation before ICU admission.Approximately 93.2%of the patients developed respiratory failure or acute respiratory distress syndrome.There were no significant differences in the inhospital survival time among the hospitals(P=0.14).Conclusion:Young patients with moderate COVID-19 without comorbidity at admission could also develop fatal outcomes.The in-hospital survival time of the fatal cases was similar among the hospitals of different levels in Wuhan.Xianlong Zhou Guoyong Ding Qing Fang Jun Guo Luyu Yang Ping Wang Shou-Zhi Fu Ang Li Jian Xia Jiangtao Yu Jianyou Xia Min Ma Zhuanzhuan Hu Lei Huang Ruining Liu Cheng Jiang Shaoping Li Mingxia Yu Xizhu Xu Yan Zhao Quan Hu Weijia Xing Zhigang Zhao 2022Emergency and Critical Care Medicine2022,2,3:0
