| 1 | Correcting method of eddy covariance fluxes over non-flat surfaces and its application in ChinaFLUX显示文摘Although Eddy Covariance (EC) technique is one of the best methods for estimating the energy and mass exchanges between underlying surface and atmosphere in micrometeorology, errors and uncertainties still exist without necessary corrections. In this paper, we will focus on the effect of coordinate system on the eddy fluxes. Based on the data observed over four sites (one farmland site, one grassland site and two forest sites), the effects of three coordinate system transforming methods (Double Rotation-DR, Triple Rotation-TR and Planar Fit-PF)on the turbulent fluxes are analyzed. | 2 | RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT OF VIRTUAL PROTOTYPE OF RUNNING GEARS FOR RAILWAY VEHICLE显示文摘Virtual prototype is an important idea to resolve design problems of railway vehicle. A different development method,which is based on national product and autonomous development,and would like to reflect the specialty of railway vehicle development in China,is presented. According to the developing process of railway vehicle,the research contents and developing method are pointed out. The integration between CAD and performance analysis software on dynamics and strength is mainly considered. In CAD environment,the properties for dynamics computing are extracted directly from the model and exported with model. This method can avoid data losing caused by model rebuilding in CAE software,and increase the direct dependence of product CAD. Then the vehicle model with properties will be used for real-time dynamics and kinematics analysis and simulation. Therefore,the strength of the parts can be analyzed. The results of dynamics and strength analysis will be fed back to optimize the design model. All operations are dispatched by a control platform,and all data are managed according to the principle of PDM. | 3 | Development of an Intelligent Vehicle Experiment System显示文摘Existing vehicle experiment systems tend to focus on the research of vehicle dynamics by conducting performance tests on every system or some parts of the vehicle so as to improve the entire performance of the vehicle.Virtual technology is widely utilized in various vehicle test-beds.These test-beds are mainly used to simulate the driving training,conduct the research on drivers' behaviors,or give virtual demonstrations of the transportation environment.However,the study on the active safety of the running vehicle in the virtual environment is still insufficient.A virtual scene including roads and vehicles is developed by using the software Creator and Vega,and radars and cameras are also simulated in the scene.Based on dSPACE's rapid prototyping simulation and its single board DS1103,a simulation model including vehicle control signals is set up in MATLAB/Simulink,the model is then built into C code,and the system defined file(SDF) is downloaded to the DS1103 board through the experiment debug software ControlDesk and is kept running.Programming is made by mixing Visual C++ 6.0,MATLAB API and Vega API.Control signals are read out by invoking library function MLIB/MTRACE of dSPACE.All the input,output,and system state values are acquired by arithmetic and are dynamically associated with the running status of the virtual vehicle.An intelligent vehicle experiment system is thus developed by virtue of program and integration.The system has not only the demonstration function,such as general driving,cruise control,active avoiding collision,but also the function of virtual experiment.Parameters of the system can be set according to needs,and the virtual test results can be analyzed and studied and used for the comparison with the existing models.The system reflects the running of the intelligent vehicle in the virtual traffic environment,at the same time,the system is a new attempt performed on the intelligent vehicle travel research and provides also a new research method for the development of intelligent vehicles. | YANG Xinhong GAO Feng LIU Guoliang WANG Guofu XU Guoyan | 2010 | Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2010,23,6: | 5 |
| 4 | Determination of averaging period parameter and its effects analysis for eddy covariance measurements显示文摘It is more and more popular to estimate the exchange of water vapor, heat and CO2fluxes between the land surface and the atmosphere using the eddy covariance technique. To get believable fluxes, it is necessary to correct the observations based on the different surface conditions and to determine relevant techinical parameters. The raw 10 Hz eddy covariance data observed in the Yucheng and Changbai Mountains stations were recalculated by various averaging periods (from 1 to 720 min) respectively, and the recalculated results were compared with the results calculated by the averaging period of 30 mins. Meanwhile, the distinctions of fluxes calculated by different averaging periods were analyzed. The continuous 15 days observations over wheat fields in the Yucheng station were mainly analyzed. The results are shown that: (i) In the Yucheng station, compared with the observations by 30 min, when the averaging period changes from 10 to 60 min, the variations of the eddy-covariance estimates of fluxes were less than 2%; when the averaging period changes less than 10 min, the estimate of fluxes reduced obviously with the reduction of the averaging period (the max relative error was -12%); and when the averaging period exceeds 120 min, the eddy covariance estimates of fluxes will be increased and become unsteady (the max relative error is over 10%); (ii) the eddy covariance estimates of fluxes over wheat field in the Yucheng station suggusted that it is much better to take 10 min as an averaging period in studying diurnal change of fluxes, and take 30min for a long-term flux observation; and (iii) normalized ratio was put forward to determine the range of averaging period of eddy covariance measurements. | 11 | Evening exercise is associated with lower odds of visual field progression in Chinese patients with primary open angle glaucoma显示文摘Background:Exercise is widely known to lower intraocular pressure and increase ocular blood flow,which may be beneficial for glaucoma management.However,there are few studies that have reported on the relationship between exercise and glaucoma progression.The aim of our study was to investigate the exercise habits of those with primary open angle glaucoma(POAG)and its association with the progression of visual field(VF)loss.Methods:Daily physical activity(PA)was monitored by an accelerometer(ActiGraph wGT3x-BT)which patients wore for more than 10 h of being awake on their right wrists for 1 week.Results:Seventy-one non-progressive and 27 progressive patients were enrolled in the study.24-h moderate to vigorous physical activity(MVPA)exercise showed that POAG patients had similar variation trends consisting of 3 wave peaks and 2 wave hollows.Minutes spent in MVPA was 19.89±15.81 and 21.62±15.10 during 07:00–09:00 h(p=0.204),15.40±14.49 and 15.67±12.43 during 15:00–17:00 h(p=0.822)and 17.26±21.11 and 11.42±11.58 during 18:00–20:00 h(p=0.001)in the non-progressive and progressive group,respectively.Univariate analysis indicated that 10 min of MVPA(18:00–20:00 h)[odds ratio,OR(95%CI)=0.82(0.73,0.92)],average mean arterial pressure[OR(95%CI)=0.96(0.94,0.98)],age[OR(95%CI)=1.06(1.03,1.08)],male[OR(95%CI)=0.67(0.48,0.96)],spherical equivalent[OR(95%CI)=1.14(1.07,1.22)]and IOP-lowering medications[OR(95%CI)=1.54(1.16,2.05)]were significantly correlated with having progressive VF damage.Multivariable analysis showed that 10 min of MVPA(18:00–20:00 h)[OR(95%CI)=0.85(0.75,0.97)]was associated with progressive VF loss even after adjusting for other risk factors.Conclusions:Evening exercise may lower the odds of VF progression,suggesting that exercise habits possibly play an important role in glaucoma progression. | Xiafei Pan Kai Xu Xin Wang Guofu Chen Huanhuan Cheng Alice Jia Liu Laurence Tang Hou Lin Zhong Jie Chen Yuanbo Liang | 2020 | Eye and Vision2020,7,1: | 2 |

| 16 | Analysis and Optimisation of Halomonas Growth Factors Based on PCA and RSM显示文摘The biomass of petroleum-degrading bacteria, such as Halomonas spp., is crucial to the alleviation of severe oil spills through bioremediation. In this paper, the bacterium(HDMP1) was isolated and identified. Growth factors were analysed and optimised through the single-factor experiments, the factor analysis(FA), the principal component analysis(PCA), and the response surface methodology(RSM). Results indicated that HDMP1 was identified as genus Halomonas. In the single-factor experiments, the range of suitable growth conditions for HDMP1 covered: a salt concentration of 2%-4%, a medium pH value of approximately 9, an inoculum concentration of 1.0%, a substrate concentration of 1.0%-1.4%, and a rotation rate of 140 r/min. The evaluation by FA and PCA indicated that three significant growth factors were the salt concentration, the pH value, and the rotation rate. | 18 | Development of taxonomic rRNA-targeted probes of two harmful algae: Prorocentrum minimum and Karenia mikimotoi by fluorescence in situ hybridization显示文摘Harmful algal blooms recently have been under the spotlight throughout the world, because of their negative impact on the marine environment, aquaculture, fisheries as well as public health. The development of methods for rapid and precise identification and quantification of causative species is essential for the warning and monitoring of blooms, among which the techniques based on taxonomic probes are the most favored. In this study, two harmful algae, i.e., Prorocentrum minimum and Karenia mikimotoi were taken into consideration. The partial large subunit rDNA (D1-D2) of both species were firstly PCR-amplified, cloned and sequenced. The obtained sequences were then introduced to carry out alignment analysis for gene specific regions. Three respective candidate probes for each species were designed and used to screen the optimal probe by performing fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) tests. The results showed that the probes Pmin0443 and Kmik0602 displayed the best hybridization for P. minimum and K. mikimotoi, respectively. Both the specific (taxonomic) (Pmin0443 and Kmik0602) and the control probes (UniC0512 and UniR0499) were used for cross-reactivity tests with other microalgae in our laboratory. The probes Pmin0443 and Kmik0602 are specific and could be served as taxonomic probes introduced into the techniques targeting rRNA, such as FISH, sandwich hybridization, and DNA-microarray assay of P. minimum and K. mikimotoi in the future. Finally, FISH analyses with both probes were performed on the simulated field samples. The probes could hybridize exclusively with the target cells well, and no significant difference (p >0.05) was observed in the cell densities of the samples determined by FISH and light microscopy (LM).
