2Fe5C2 nanoparticles as low-cost HER electrocatalyst:the importance of Co substitution显示文摘Constructing and understanding the doping effect of secondary metal in transition metal carbide(TMC)catalysts is pivotal for the design of low-cost hydrogen evolution reaction(HER) electrocatalysts. In this work, we developed a wet-chemistry strategy for synthesizing Co-modified Fe_5C_2 nanoparticles((Fe_(1-x)Cox)_5C_2 NPs) as highly active HER electrocatalysts in basic solution. The structure of(Fe_(1-x)Cox)_5C_2 NPs was characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD), extended X-ray absorption fine structure spectra(EXAFS) and scanning/transmission electron microscopy(S/TEM), indicating that the isomorphous substitution of cobalt in the lattice of Fe_5C_2.(Fe_(0.75) Co_(0.25))_5C_2 exhibited the best HER activity(174 mV for j = -10 mA/cm^2). Computational calculation results indicate that Co provides the most active site for HER. X-ray adsorption spectra(XAS) studies further suggested that the electron transfer in Fe–C bonds are enhanced by the substitution of Co, which modulates the hydrogen adsorption on the adjacent electronic-enriched carbon, and therefore promotes HER activity. 3Partial discharge measurement and analysis under lightning impulse superimposed DC voltage in SF6 gas显示文摘The presence of lightning impulses(LIs)on the DC waveform can seriously influence the insulation performance of a GIL system.The waveshape can be a superposition of the DC and impulse waveform.In this study,the behaviour of partial discharge(PD)on an epoxy surface is investigated under DC and LI superimposed voltage in SF6.The lightning impulses with different polarities are superimposed on the epoxy surface under both positive and negative DC voltages,respectively.Positive lightning impulses are superimposed on a negative DC voltage with a 90%of the partial discharge inception voltage(PDIV)magnitude.The number and amplitude of the PDs are used to evaluate the insulation performance.The experimental results show that the LI with a different polarity applied to DC can excite the PDs on the epoxy surface.The excitation effect of positive LI superimposed on negative DC is more significant.According to the impulse amplitude and PD characteristics,the influence of superimposed LI on PD excitation can be divided into three stages.As the superimposed LI increases,the amplitude of the excited PD increases gradually,while the PD number first increases and then decreases.This study is expected to provide reference for manufacture and protection of power equipment.Haotian Wang Cong He Ruochen Guo Xuan Meng Wenze Yuan Junhao Li 2022High Voltage2022,7,4:3
4Drift potential of UAV with adjuvants in aerial applications显示文摘The reduction of pesticide aerial spraying drift is still one of the major challenges in modern agriculture.The aim of this study was to evaluate the drift potential of different types of unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)and adjuvant products for reducing spray drift in aerial applications.Three types of UAV(3WQF120-12 and 3CD-15 fuel oil powered single-rotor UAV and HY-B-15L battery powered single-rotor UAV)were selected in this study with regular application parameters to compare each spray drift,and 3WQF120-12 fuel oil powered UAV was selected to quantify spray drift of 6 adjuvants dissolved in water under field conditions.Solutions were marked with brillant sulfoflavin dye(BSF)at 0.1%.Petri dishes and rotary impactors were used to collect airborne and sediment drift,respectively.Drift deposits were evaluated by spectrophotometry in order to quantify deposits.The results showed that when the flight height was 1.5-2.0 m above the crop at the flight speed of 4-5 m/s and the average wind speed of 1.63-1.73 m/s,3WQF120-12 fuel oil powered UAV had lower drift potential than the other two types;DV0.5 and percentage of droplets with diameter≤75μm had very significant effects on spray drift percentage(p=0.01);the risk of drift in agricultural spraying could be significantly decreased not only by reducing the percentage of fine droplets but also by changing droplet spectra.Compared to water,Silwet DRS-60,ASFA+B,T1602,Break-thru Vibrant,QF-LY and Tmax could reduce by 65%,62%,59%,46%,42%,and 19%spray drift,respectively.when water without adjuvants were sprayed,90%of drift droplets were located within a range of 10.1 m of the target area while with 0.8%Silwet DRS-60 adjuvant in water,the distance was shortened to 6.4 m.Xiaonan Wang Xiongkui He Jianli Song Zhichong Wang Changling Wang Shilin Wang Ruochen Wu Yanhua Meng 2018International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2018,11,5:3

6S4Net: Single stage salient-instance segmentation显示文摘In this paper, we consider salient instance segmentation. As well as producing bounding boxes,our network also outputs high-quality instance-level segments as initial selections to indicate the regions of interest. Taking into account the category-independent property of each target, we design a single stage salient instance segmentation framework, with a novel segmentation branch. Our new branch regards not only local context inside each detection window but also the surrounding context, enabling us to distinguish instances in the same scope even with partial occlusion.Our network is end-to-end trainable and is fast(running at 40 fps for images with resolution 320 × 320). We evaluate our approach on a publicly available benchmark and show that it outperforms alternative solutions. We also provide a thorough analysis of our design choices to help readers better understand the function of each part of our network. 7近年中国北方草地变绿受降水增加的驱动显示文摘中国北方的暖湿化是近期的热点话题,然而其对植被生长的影响仍不清楚。本研究基于长时间序列(1982–2018年)数据,研究了归一化植被指数(NDVI)的时间动态及其气候驱动因子之间的关系,以探索近年来气候的暖湿化是否会导致该区植被变绿。我们采用分段回归探测了NDVI的变化趋势是否存在转变点,用Pearson相关分析描述了植被指数与气候因子的关系。最后,采用逐步多元回归方法研究了气候因子对NDVI时间变化的贡献率。研究结果表明,NDVI时间变化趋势的转变点出现在2008年,GIMMS NDVI在1982–2008年略有增加,上升速率为0.00022 yr?1,在2008–2015年上升速率达到0.002 yr?1,MODIS NDVI在2008–2018年上升速率为0.0018 yr?1。降水是NDVI变化的主要驱动因子,气温和饱和水汽压差(VPD)对NDVI的变化影响较小。总体看来,NDVI时间序列变化趋势存在转变点,并且近期气候的暖湿化主导了中国北方草地植被变绿,这为今后更好地预测该地区气候变化下的植被覆盖变化提供了依据。Kai Di Zhongmin Hu Mei Wang Ruochen Cao Minqi Liang Genan Wu Ruru Chen Guangcun Hao Yaolong Zhao 2021Journal of Plant Ecology2021,14,5:2
8Investigation on hierarchical control for driving stability and safety of intelligent HEV during car-following and lane-change process显示文摘The longitudinal and lateral coordinated control for autonomous vehicles is fundamental to achieve safe and comfortable driving performance.Aiming at this for hybrid electric vehicles(HEV)during the car-following(CF)and lane-change(LC)process while accelerating,a hierarchical control strategy for vehicle stability control is proposed.This new approach is different from the conventional hierarchical control.On the basis of model predictive control(MPC)theory,a two-layer MPC controller is designed at the top level of the control structure.The upper layer is a linear time-varying MPC(LTV-MPC),while the lower layer is a hybrid MPC(HMPC).For the LTV-MPC controller,a control-oriented linear discrete model for HEV is established,which integrates the dynamic model with three degrees of freedom(DOF)and the car-following model.The lower-layer HMPC controller is designed on the basis of the analysis for HEV hybrid characteristics and the modelling for the mixed logic dynamic(MLD)model of the HEV powertrain.As for the bottom level,a control plant including the HEV powertrain model and the 7 DOF nonlinear dynamics of the vehicle body is established.In addition,the system stability is proven.A deep fusion of vehicle dynamics control and energy management is achieved.Compared with LC-ACC control and conventional ACC control,the simulation and the hardware-in-the-loop(HIL)test results under different driving scenarios show that the proposed hierarchical control strategy can effectively maintain lateral stability and safety under severe driving conditions.Additionally,the HEV powertrain output torque and the gear-shift point are coordinated and controlled by the HMPC controller.ZHOU YaZhou WANG RuoChen DING RenKai SHI DeHua YE Qing 2022Science China(Technological Sciences)2022,65,1:1
9Chaotic Motion in a Nonlinear Car Model Excited by Multi-frequency Road Surface Profile显示文摘In order to solve the problem that existing nonlinear suspension models have not considered chaotic motion in primary and other resonances, and numerical calculation model is too simplified to capture the accurate critical conditions for the chaotic motion, a nonlinear suspension model and its new paths of chaos are investigated. Primary resonances, secondary resonances, and combined resonances are performed using multiple-time scales method. Based on the Melnikov functions, the critical conditions for the chaotic motion of the nonlinear system are found, which is 0.246 7 for the primary resonance, and 0.338 8 for the secondary resonance. The effects of parameters on chaotic range are considered, and results show that nonlinear stiffness of suspension k2 has the largest impact on the chaotic range while damping coefficient C1 has the smallest one. The chaotic responses on the area of the primary and secondary resonances are discussed via Lyapunov exponents and numerical integration of the equations of motion. It is found from Lyapunov exponents and Poincare′ maps that motions are chaos over critical conditions, and has shown two very different paths of chaos on the primary and secondary resonances. 12Correlating the electronic structures of metallic/semiconducting MoTe_(2)interface to its atomic structures显示文摘Contact interface properties are important in determining the performances of devices that are based on atomically thin two-dimensional(2D)materials,especially for those with short channels.Understanding the contact interface is therefore important to design better devices.Herein,we use scanning transmission electron microscopy,electron energy loss spectroscopy,and first-principles calculations to reveal the electronic structures within the metallic(1T)-semiconducting(2H)MoTe_(2)coplanar phase boundary across a wide spectral range and correlate its properties to atomic structures.We find that the 2 H-MoTe_(2)excitonic peaks cross the phase boundary into the 1 T phase within a range of approximately 150 nm.The1 T-MoTe_(2)crystal field can penetrate the boundary and extend into the 2H phase by approximately two unit-cells.The plasmonic oscillations exhibit strong angle dependence,that is a red-shift ofπ+σ(approximately 0.3–1.2 e V)occurs within 4 nm at 1 T/2 H-MoTe_(2)boundaries with large tilt angles,but there is no shift at zero-tilted boundaries.These atomic-scale measurements reveal the structure–property relationships of the 1 T/2 H-MoTe_(2)boundary,providing useful information for phase boundary engineering and device development based on 2 D materials.Bo Han Chen Yang Xiaolong Xu Yuehui Li Ruochen Shi Kaihui Liu Haicheng Wang Yu Ye Jing Lu Dapeng Yu Peng Gao 2021National Science Review2021,8,2:0

14Numerical investigation of co-flow jet airfoil with parabolic flap显示文摘Both the Active Flow Control(AFC)and the variable-camber technology are considered as efficient ways to enhance the aerodynamic performance of an aircraft.The present study investigated the feasibility of the combination of a Co-Flow Jet(CFJ)airfoil and a parabolic flap,where the Reynolds Average Navier-Stokes(RANS)equations and the Spalart-Allmaras(S-A)turbulence model were exploited for the numerical simulation.Several significant geometric parameters,including the injection slot location,the suction slot location,the injection slot angle,the suction slot angle and the airfoil Suction Surface Translation(SST),were selected to study their effects on the aerodynamics of the proposed configuration.Then,an optimized design was created and compared with the baseline airfoil.The results show that the CFJ airfoil combined with the parabolic flap is more beneficial to the aerodynamic performance enhancement at small angles of attack.It is preferable to locate the injection slot at a 2%chord-wise location and the suction slot at a 75%chord-wise location.Both the decrease of the injection slot angle and the augmentation of the suction slot angle could reduce the drag.Furthermore,the SST of 0.5%chord is selected due to its high gain in the corrected aerodynamic efficiency at small angles of attack.Compared with the baseline,the optimized design could increase the lift coefficient and the corrected lift-to-drag ratio by 32.1%and 93.8%respectively at the angle of attack a=4°.Ruochen WANG Xiaoping MA Guoxin ZHANG Pei YING Xiangyu WANG 2023Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2023,36,5:0

17Improving the Accuracy of Vegetation Index Retrieval for Biomass by Combining Ground-UAV Hyperspectral Data-A New Method for Inner Mongolia Typical Grasslands显示文摘Grassland biomass is an important parameter of grassland ecosystems.The complexity of the grassland canopy vegetation spectrum makes the long-term assessment of grassland growth a challenge.Few studies have explored the original spectral information of typical grasslands in Inner Mongolia and examined the influence of spectral information on aboveground biomass(AGB)estimation.In order to improve the accuracy of vegetation index inversion of grassland AGB,this study combined ground and Unmanned Aerial Vehicle(UAV)remote sensing technology and screened sensitive bands through ground hyperspectral data transformation and correlation analysis.The narrow band vegetation indices were calculated,and ground and airborne hyperspectral inversion models were established.Finally,the accuracy of the model was verified.The results showed that:(1)The vegetation indices constructed based on the ASD FieldSpec 4 and the UAV were significantly correlated with the dry and fresh weight of AGB.(2)The comparison between measured R^(2) with the prediction R^(2) indicated that the accuracy of the model was the best when using the Soil-Adjusted Vegetation Index(SAVI)as the independent variable in the analysis of AGB(fresh weight/dry weight)and four narrow-band vegetation indices.The SAVI vegetation index showed better applicability for biomass monitoring in typical grassland areas of Inner Mongolia.(3)The obtained ground and airborne hyperspectral data with the optimal vegetation index suggested that the dry weight of AGB has the best fitting effect with airborne hyperspectral data,where y=17.962e^(4.672x),the fitting R^(2) was 0.542,the prediction R^(2)was 0.424,and RMSE and REE were 57.03 and 0.65,respectively.Therefore,established vegetation indices by screening sensitive bands through hyperspectral feature analysis can significantly improve the inversion accuracy of typical grassland biomass in Inner Mongolia.Compared with ground monitoring,airborne hyperspectral monitoring better reflects the inversion of actual surface biomass.It provides a reliable modeling framework for grassland AGB monitoring and scientific and technological support for grazing management.Ruochen Wang Jianjun Dong Lishan Jin Yuyan Sun Taogetao Baoyin Xiumei Wang 2024Phyton-International Journal of Experimental Botany2024,93,2:0

The aim of this study was to investigate the absorption properties and mechanism of rhubarb active ingredients in TCM preparation and pure form.Methods: The intestinal absorption behavior of active ingredients in Shenkang extract(SKE) and rhubarb anthraquinone ingredients(RAI) were investigated by in situ single-pass intestinal perfusion model. And the bidirectional transport characteristics of these active ingredients were assessed by in vitro Caco-2 cell monolayer model.Results: In situ experiment on Sprague-Dawley rats, the effective permeability coefficient values of aloeemodin, emodin and chrysophanol in RAI were higher than those in SKE, and the value of rhein in RAI was lower than that in SKE. But the easily absorbed segments of intestine were consistent for all ingredients,whether in SKE or in RAI. In vitro experiment, the apparent permeability coefficient values of rhein, emodin and chrysophanol in RAI were higher than those in SKE, and this value of aloe-emodin in RAI was lower than that in SKE. But their efflux ratio(ER) values in SKE and RAI were all similar.Conclusion: Four rhubarb anthraquinone ingredients in SKE and RAI have similar absorption mechanism and different absorption behavior, and the microenvironment of the study models influenced their absorption behavior.
