| 1 | China National Medical Products Administration approval summary:anlotinib for the treatment of advanced non-small cell lung cancer after two lines of chemotherapy显示文摘Background:On May 8,2018,the China National Medical Products Administration(NMPA)approved anlotinib,an orally administered anti-angiogenesis inhibitor,for the treatment of patients with advanced non-small cell lung can-cer(NSCLC)who have progressed after treatment with two or more lines of prior systemic chemotherapy.Main body of the abstract:China NMPA reviewed and inspected a regional double-blinded,placebo-controlled,Phase III trial comparing the overall survival(OS)of NSCLC patients between the anlotinib and placebo arms.A total of 437 patients were randomized(2:1)to receive either anlotinib(n=294)or placebo(n=143)once daily on a 2-week on and 1-week off schedule.Patients with epidermal growth factor receptor(EGFR)or activating anaplastic lymphoma kinase(ALK)genomic tumor aberrations should have disease progression on NMPA-approved therapy.Anlotinib is the first NMPA-approved drug for patients with advanced NSCLC who have progressed on at least two lines of prior systemic chemotherapies in China.The approval was based on a statistically and clinically significant improvement in median OS with anlotinib(9.46 months)compared with placebo[6.37 months;hazard ratio(HR])=0.70,95%confidence interval(CI)=0.55-0.89;two-sided log-rank P=0.002].The confirmed objective response rate(ORR)was 9.2%in the anlotinib arm and 0.7%in the placebo arm.The median duration of response(DoR)was 4.83 months,with a 95%CI of 3.31-6.97 months.The toxicity profile of anlotinib was consistent with that of known anti-angiogenesis inhibitors.Common adverse drug reactions(ADRs)in anlotinib-treated patients included hypertension(67.4%),hand-foot syndrome(43.9%),hemoptysis(14.0%),thyroid stimulating hormone(TSH)elevation(46.6%),and corrected QT interval(QTc)prolongation(26.2%).Short conclusion:Anlotinib demonstrated a clinically significant OS prolongation as a novel therapeutic option for advanced or metastatic NSCLC following at least two lines of chemotherapy. | Ming Zhou Xiaoyuan Chen Hong Zhang Lin Xia Xin Tong Limin Zou Ruimin Hao Jianhong Pan Xiao Zhao Dongmei Chen Yuanyuan Song Yueli Qi Ling Tang Zhifang Liu Rong Gao Yuankai Shi Zhimin Yang | 2019 | Cancer Communications2019,39,1: | 35 |

| 4 | Porphyromonas gingivalis infection promotes mitochondrial dysfunction through Drp1-dependent mitochondrial fission in endothelial cells显示文摘Porphyromonas gingivalis(P.gingivalis),a key pathogen in periodontitis,has been shown to accelerate the progression of atherosclerosis(AS).However,the definite mechanisms remain elusive.Emerging evidence supports an association between mitochondrial dysfunction and AS.In our study,the impact of P.gingivalis on mitochondrial dysfunction and the potential mechanism were investigated.The mitochondrial morphology of EA.hy926 cells infected with P.gingivalis was assessed by transmission electron microscopy,mitochondrial staining,and quantitative analysis of the mitochondrial network.Fluorescence staining and flow cytometry analysis were performed to determine mitochondrial reactive oxygen species(mtROS)and mitochondrial membrane potential(MMP)levels.Cellular ATP production was examined by a luminescence assay kit.The expression of key fusion and fission proteins was evaluated by western blot and immunofluorescence.Mdivi-1,a specific Drp1 inhibitor,was used to elucidate the role of Drp1 in mitochondrial dysfunction.Our findings showed that P.gingivalis infection induced mitochondrial fragmentation,increased the mtROS levels,and decreased the MMP and ATP concentration in vascular endothelial cells.We observed upregulation of Drp1(Ser616)phosphorylation and translocation of Drp1 to mitochondria.Mdivi-1 blocked the mitochondrial fragmentation and dysfunction induced by P.gingivalis.Collectively,these results revealed that P.gingivalis infection promoted mitochondrial fragmentation and dysfunction,which was dependent on Drp1.Mitochondrial dysfunction may represent the mechanism by which P.gingivalis exacerbates atherosclerotic lesions. | Tong Xu Qin Dong Yuxiao Luo Yanqing Liu Liang Gao Yaping Pan Dongmei Zhang | 2021 | International Journal of Oral Science2021,13,3: | 7 |

| 7 | Oxidation of NO over cobalt oxide supported on mesoporous silica显示文摘Cobalt oxide catalysts supported on mesoporous silica(Co3O4 /MPS) were prepared,characterized and applied for catalytic oxidation of NO. Effects of catalyst supports,calcination temperatures,H2O and SO2 on NO conversion were investigated. The samples were also characterized by BET,XRD,FTIR and TG/DTG. The results suggested that Co3O4 /MPS catalyst calcined at 573 K had the smallest crystal particles and the best surface dispersion. This catalyst had the highest activity and yielded 82% NO conversion at 573 K,at a space velocity of 12000 h 1 . Although the conversion of NO decreased with the introduction of H2O,it could be restored completely after removing residual H2O from Co3O4 /MPS catalyst by heating at 573 K. In the presence of SO2,the oxidation activity decreased and CoSO 4 was detected on the catalyst. The NO conversion decreased to 30.2% in the presence of SO2 and H2O. It could not be restored completely after cutting off H2O and SO2 . | 10 | Fractional pyrolysis of Cyanobacteria from water blooms over HZSM-5 for high quality bio-oil production显示文摘Fractional pyrolysis and one-step pyrolysis of natural algae Cyanobacteria from Taihu Lake were comparatively studied from 200 to 500°C.One-step pyrolysis produced bio-oil with complex composition and low high heating value(HHV 30.9 MJ/kg). Fractional pyrolysis separated the degradation of different components in Cyanobacteria and improved the selectivity to products in bio-oil. That is, acids at 200°C, amides and acids at 300°C, phenols and nitriles at 400°C, and phenols at 500°C, were got as main products, respectively. HZSM-5 could promote the dehydration, cracking and aromatization of pyrolytic intermediates in fractional pyrolysis. At optimal HZSM-5 catalyst dosage of 1.0 g, the selectivity to products and the quality of bio-oil were improved obviously. The main products in bio-oil changed to nitriles(47.2%) at 300°C,indoles(51.3%) and phenols(36.3%) at 400°C. The oxygen content was reduced to 7.2 wt% and 9.4 wt%, and the HHV was raised to 38.1and 37.3 MJ/kg at 300 and 400°C, respectively. | 11 | Efficacy and safety of Liangxue Jiedu decoction for the treatment of progressive psoriasis vulgaris: a multicenter, randomized, controlled study显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To determine the clinical efficacy and safety of Liangxue Jiedu decoction(LJD) for the treatment of progressive psoriasis vulgaris and to provide the basis for the development of a standardized treatment protocol for psoriasis vulgaris.METHODS: In this multicenter, randomized, controlled study, patients with blood-heat type psoriasis were randomly assigned to receive either Chinese herbal medicine(LJD;treatment group) or Western Medicine(cetirizine hydrochloride, vitamin C, and vitamin B complex;control group). Psoriasis Area and Severity Index(PASI) scores were calculated in addition to the number of patients who achieved ≥ 50% or ≥ 75% improvement in PASI score from baseline. The change in symptoms of Chinese medicine(color of rash, burning sensation,itchiness, severity of irritation, and anger) was evaluated and safety was assessed as adverse events and laboratory analysis. t test, independent sample non-parametric test and χ2 test were used to analyze the results.RESULTS: A total of 238 participants were included in the study [treatment group, n = 122(PP analysis117);control group, n = 116(PP analysis 104)]. LJD treatment was associated with a significant improvement in skin lesions and symptoms com-pared with Western Medicine treatment. At the end of the 8-week treatment period, 23.77%(PP analysis 24.79%) of patients in the treatment group had achieved PASI75 and 57.38%(PP analysis 58.97%)had achieved PASI50;the corresponding figures in the control group were 9.48%(9.62%) and 25.00%(25.00%), respectively. The measurements show that the relative change of terahertz transmission of p-Si at low pump power is slightly smaller than that of n-Si,due to the lower carrier density induced by the recombination of original holes in the p-type material and the photogenerated electrons. At high pump power,the bigger change of terahertz transmission of p-Si originates from the greater mobility of the carriers compared to n-Si. The transient photoconductivities are calculated and fit well with the Drude-Smith model,showing that the mobility of the photogenerated carriers decreases with the increasing pump power. | 14 | The comparison of Cu(II) adsorption capability of baker’s yeast, nano-titania and their composite adsorbent显示文摘The anatase nano-TiO2 powder, with crystal size between 40 and 80 nm, was prepared by the liquid phase hydrolysis of TiCl4. At the same time, the nano-TiO2 was utilized with the baker’s yeast biomass as a composite adsorbent to adsorb the Cu ions in the artificial aqueous solution. The investigation showed that the composite adsorbent had a fine adsorption efficiency. The TiO2 in the composite ad- sorbent could cooperate well with baker’s yeast to improve the adsorbing capability of Cu2+ under the following experimental conditions as well: a quantity of composite adsorbent of 5 g·L?1, pH≥4.0, an adsorption time of 40 min and an initial concentration of Cu ions of 10 mg·L?1.
