| 1 | The enhanced X-ray Timing and Polarimetry mission—eXTP显示文摘In this paper we present the enhanced X-ray Timing and Polarimetry mission—eXTP. eXTP is a space science mission designed to study fundamental physics under extreme conditions of density, gravity and magnetism. The mission aims at determining the equation of state of matter at supra-nuclear density, measuring effects of QED, and understanding the dynamics of matter in strong-field gravity. In addition to investigating fundamental physics, eXTP will be a very powerful observatory for astrophysics that will provide observations of unprecedented quality on a variety of galactic and extragalactic objects. | 2 | Association study of the single nucleotide polymorphisms in adiponectin-associated genes with type 2 diabetes in Han Chinese显示文摘Single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) of ADIPOQ, ADIPOR1, and ADIPOR2 have been associated with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM), but there are many conflicting results especially in Chinese populations. To investigate the contribution of the adiponectin genes and their receptors to T2DM, a case-control study was performed and 11 SNPs of ADIPOQ, ADIPOR1, and ADIPOR2 were genotyped in 985 T2DM and 1,050 control subjects. rs16861194 (-11426 A>G) in the putative promoter of ADIPOQ was associated with T2DM (P = 0.007; OR = 1.29, 95% CI 1.08-1.55). None of the other 10 SNPs were associated with T2DM in this study, although rs2241766 and rs1501299 were reported to be associated with T2DM in previous Chinese studies. There was also no significant difference found from the ADIPOQ haplotype analysis, which contains rs16861194. In addition, we also assessed potential gene-gene interactions in three genes and no interactions were found. | 3 | Catalytic ozonation treatment of papermaking wastewater by Ag-doped NiFe2O4 : Performance and mechanism显示文摘The catalytic ozonation treatment of secondary biochemical effluent for papermaking wastewater by Ag-doped nickel ferrite was investigated.Ag-doped catalysts prepared by sol-gel method were characterized,illustrating that Ag entirely entered the crystalline of Ni Fe2O4 and changed the surface properties.The addition of catalyst enhanced the removal efficiency of chemical oxygen demand and total organic carbon.The results of gas chromatography-mass spectrometer,ultraviolet light absorbance at 254 nm and threedimensional fluorescence excitation-emission matrix suggested that aromatic compounds were efficiently degraded and toxic substances,such as dibutyl phthalate.In addition,the radical scavenging experiments confirmed the hydroxyl radicals acted as the main reactive oxygen species and the surface properties of catalysts played an important role in the reaction.Overall,this work validated potential applications of Ag-doped Ni Fe2O4 catalyzed ozonation process of biologically recalcitrant wastewater. | Junyu Zhao Jiashun Cao Yujie Zhao Teng Zhang Di Zheng Chao Li | 2020 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2020,32,11: | 7 |
| 4 | Construction and expression of eukaryotic plasmids containing lamivudine-resistant or wild-type strains of Hepatitis B Virus genotype C显示文摘AIM:To construct eukaryotic expression plasmids of full-length Hepatitis B Virus(HBV) genotype C genome,which contain lamivudine-resistant mutants(YIDD,YVDD) or wild-type strain(YMDD) ,and to observe the expression of HBV DNA and antigens [hepatitis B surface antigen(HBsAg) and hepatitis B e antigen(HBeAg) ] of the recombinant plasmids in HepG2 cells. METHODS:Three HBV full-length genomes were amplified from the plasmids pMD18T-HBV/YIDD,pMD18T-HBV/YVDD and pMD18T-HBV/YMDD,using PCR. Three recombinant plasmids were generated by inserting each of the PCR products into the eukaryotic expression vector pcDNA3.1(+) ,between the EcoRI and HindⅢ sites. After being characterized by restriction endonuclease digestion,and DNA sequence analysis,the recombinant plasmids were transfected into HepG2 cells. At 48 and 72 h post-transfection,the levels of intracellular viral DNA replication were detected by real-time PCR,and the expression of HBsAg and HBeAg in the cell culture supernatant was determined by ELISA. RESULTS:Restriction endonuclease digestion and DNA sequence analysis confirmed that the threerecombinant plasmids were correctly constructed. After transfecting the plasmids into HepG2 cells,high levels of intracellular viral DNA replication were observed,and HBsAg and HBeAg were secreted into the cell culture supernatant. CONCLUSION:Eukaryotic expression plasmids pcDNA3.1(+) -HBV/YIDD,pcDNA3.1(+) -HBV/YVDD or pcDNA3.1(+) -HBV/YMDD,which contained HBV genotype C full-length genome,were successfully constructed. After transfection into HepG2 cells,the recombinant plasmids efficiently expressed HBV DNA,HBsAg and HBeAg. | 5 | Estimating peak response frequencies in a tidal band in the seas adjacent to China with a numerical model显示文摘A numerical method is designed to examine the response properties of real sea areas to open ocean forcing. The application of this method to modeling the China's adjacent seas shows that the Bohai Sea has a highest peak response frequency(PRF) of 1.52 d-1; the northern Yellow Sea has a PRF of 1.69 d-1; the Gyeonggi Bay has a high amplitude gain plateau in the frequency band roughly from 1.7 to 2.7 d-1; the Yellow Sea(including the Gyeonggi Bay), the East China Sea shelf and the Taiwan Strait have a common high amplitude gain band with frequencies around 1.76 to 1.78 d-1 and are shown to be a system that responds to the open ocean forcing in favor of amplifying the waves with frequencies in this band; the Beibu Gulf, the Gulf of Thailand and the South China Sea deep basin have PRFs of 0.91, 1.01 and 0.98 d-1 respectively. In addition, the East China Sea has a Poincare mode PRF of 3.91 d-1. The PRFs of the Bohai Sea, the northern Yellow Sea, the Beibu Gulf and the South China Sea can be explained by a classical quarter(half for the Bohai Sea) wavelength resonance theory.
