| 2 | World’s first spaceflight on-orbit demonstration of a flexible solar array system based on shape memory polymer composites显示文摘With a 10%reversible compressive strain in more than 10 deformation cycles,the shape memory polymer composites(SMPCs)could be used for deployable structure and releasing mechanism.In this paper,without traditional electro-explosive devices or motors/controllers,the deployable SMPC flexible solar array system(SMPC-FSAS)is studied,developed,ground-based tested,and finally on-orbit validated.The epoxy-based SMPC is used for the rolling-out variable-stiffness beams as a structural frame as well as an actuator for the flexible blanket solar array.The releasing mechanism is primarily made of the cyanate-based SMPC,which has a high locking stiffness to withstand 50 g gravitational acceleration and a large unlocking displacement of 10 mm.The systematical mechanical and thermal qualification tests of the SMPC-FSAS flight hardware were performed,including sinusoidal sweeping vibration,shocking,acceleration,thermal equilibrium,thermal vacuum cycling,and thermal cycling test.The locking function of the SMPC releasing mechanisms was in normal when launching aboard the SJ20 Geostationary Satellite on 27 Dec.,2019.The SMPC-FSAS flight hardware successfully unlocked and deployed on 5 Jan.,2020 on geostationary orbit.The triggering signal of limit switches returned to ground at the 139 s upon heating,which indicated the successful unlocking function of SMPC releasing mechanisms.A pair of epoxy-based SMPC rolled variable-stiffness tubes,which clapped the flexible blanket solar array,slowly deployed and finally approached an approximate 100%shape recovery ratio within 60 s upon heating.The study and on-orbit successful validation of the SMPC-FSAS flight hardware could accelerate the related study and associated productions to be used for the next-generation releasing mechanisms as well as space deployable structures,such as new releasing mechanisms with low-shocking,testability and reusability,and ultra-large space deployable solar arrays. | LAN Xin LIU LiWu ZHANG FengHua LIU ZhengXian WANG LinLin LI QiFeng PENG Fan HAO SiDa DAI WenXu WAN Xue TANG Yong WANG Mian HAO YanYan YANG Yang YANG Cheng LIU YanJu LENG JinSong | 2020 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2020,63,8: | 7 |
| 3 | Adding-Point Strategy for Reduced-Order Hypersonic Aerothermodynamics Modeling Based on Fuzzy Clustering显示文摘Reduced order models-ROMs) based on the snapshots on the CFD high-fidelity simulations have been paid great attention recently due to their capability of capturing the features of the complex geometries and flow configurations. To improve the efficiency and precision of the ROMs, it is indispensable to add extra sampling points to the initial snapshots, since the number of sampling points to achieve an adequately accurate ROM is generally unknown in prior, but a large number of initial sampling points reduces the parsimony of the ROMs. A fuzzy-clustering-based adding-point strategy is proposed and the fuzzy clustering acts an indicator of the region in which the precision of ROMs is relatively low. The proposed method is applied to construct the ROMs for the benchmark mathematical examples and a numerical example of hypersonic aerothermodynamics prediction for a typical control surface. | 4 | Power management in co-phase traction power supply system with super capacitor energy storage for electrified railways显示文摘Increasing railway traffic and energy utilization issues prompt electrified railway systems to be more economical,efficient and sustainable.As regenerative braking energy in railway systems has huge potential for optimized utilization,a lot of research has been focusing on how to use the energy efficiently and gain sustainable benefits.The energy storage system is an alternative because it not only deals with regenerative braking energy but also smooths drastic fluctuation of load power profile and optimizes energy management.In this work,we propose a co-phase traction power supply system with super capacitor(CSS_SC)for the purpose of realizing the function of energy management and power quality management in electrified railways.Besides,the coordinated control strategy is presented to match four working modes,including traction,regenerative braking,peak shaving and valley filling.A corresponding simulation model is built in MATLAB/Simulink to verify the feasibility of the proposed system under dynamic working conditions.The results demonstrate that CSS_SC is flexible to deal with four different working conditions and can realize energy saving within the allowable voltage unbalance of 0.008%in simulation in contrast to 1.3%of the standard limit.With such a control strategy,the performance of super capacitor is controlled to comply with efficiency and safety constraints.Finally,a case study demonstrates the improvement in power fluctuation with the valley-to-peak ratio reduced by 20.3%and the daily load factor increased by 17.9%. | Xiaohong Huang Qinyu Liao Qunzhan Li Sida Tang Ke Sun | 2020 | Railway Engineering Science2020,28,1: | 4 |
| 5 | Dynamic Stability Analysis of Linear Time-varying Systems via an Extended Modal Identification Approach显示文摘The problem of linear time-varying(LTV) system modal analysis is considered based on time-dependent state space representations, as classical modal analysis of linear time-invariant systems and current LTV system modal analysis under the ‘‘frozen-time'' assumption are not able to determine the dynamic stability of LTV systems.Time-dependent state space representations of LTV systems are first introduced, and the corresponding modal analysis theories are subsequently presented via a stabilitypreserving state transformation. The time-varying modes of LTV systems are extended in terms of uniqueness, and are further interpreted to determine the system's stability. An extended modal identification is proposed to estimate the time-varying modes, consisting of the estimation of the state transition matrix via a subspace-based method and the extraction of the time-varying modes by the QR decomposition. The proposed approach is numerically validated by three numerical cases, and is experimentally validated by a coupled moving-mass simply supported beam experimental case. | 6 | Non-destructive testing method of microdebonding defects in composite insulation based on high power ultrasonic显示文摘It is crucial to ensure the adhesive quality of the interface in composite insulation equipment for power grid security.Due to viscoelasticity of silicone rubber and roughness of interface,the thickness of the local air layer in the defective interface is<100μm.This kind of defect is called micro-debonding defect in this paper,and it is significantly smaller than the millimetre-scale air gaps which could be defected by the x-ray,THz,and traditional ultrasonic method.It remains challenging to detect the micro-debonding in composite insulation by non-destructive testing methods.In this paper,the acoustic model and bi-linear stiffness model for micro-debonding in different stages are established.Accordingly,a conjecture is proposed that the bonding property of composite insulation is related to the acoustic impedance of interface and non-linear distortion of its constitutive relation.The result obtained from numerical simulation with and without defect is compared with the high-power ultrasonic experimental data to validate the correctness of the theoretical model.In addition,it can be concluded that the non-linear distortion of high-power ultrasonic wave can be effectively used to diagnose micro-debonding defect at the interface of composite insulation in its early stage(1-20μm). | Hanqing Wang Li Cheng Ruijin Liao Sida Zhang Lijun Yang | 2019 | High Voltage2019,4,3: | 2 |

| 14 | Mineralogical characteristics,metallurgical properties and phase structure evolution of Ca-rich hematite sintering显示文摘In order to study the sintering characteristics of Ca-rich iron ore,chemical analysis,laser diffraction,scanning electron microscopy,XRD-Rietveld method,and micro-sintering were used to analyze the mineralogical properties and sintering pot tests were used to study the sintering behavior.In addition,a grey correlation mathematical model was used to calculate and compare the comprehensive sintering performance under different calcium-rich iron ore contents.The results demonstrate that the Ca-rich iron ore has coarse grain size and strong self-fusing characteristics with Ca element in the form of calcite(CaCO_(3)) and the liquid phase produced by the self-fusing of the calcium-rich iron ore is well crystallized.Its application with a 20wt%content in sintering improves sinter productivity,reduces fuel consumption,enhances reduction index,and improves gas permeability in blast furnace by 0.45 t/(m^(2)·h),6.11 kg/t,6.17%,and 65.39 kPa·℃,respectively.The Ca-rich iron ore sintering can improve the calorific value of sintering flue gas compared with magnetite sintering,which is conducive to recovering heat for secondary use.As the content of the Ca-rich iron ore increases,sinter agglomeration shifts from localized liquid-phase bonding to a combination of localized liquid-phase bonding and iron oxide crystal connection.Based on an examination of the greater weight value of productivity with grey correlation analysis,the Ca-rich iron ore is beneficial for the comprehensive index of sintering in the range of 0-20wt%content.Therefore,it may be used in sintering with magnetite concentrates as the major ore species. | Lele Niu Zhengjian Liu Jianliang Zhang Dawei Lan Sida Li Zhen Li Yaozu Wang | 2023 | International Journal of Minerals,Metallurgy and Materials2023,30,2: | 0 |

| 17 | Formaldehyde Free Renewable Thermosetting Foam Based on Biomass Tannin with a Lignin Additive显示文摘This study presents easily prepared free formaldehyde bio-based foam based on a prepared thermosetting resin comprising tannin–lignin–furfuryl alcohol-glyoxal(TLFG)via mechanical stirring in presence of ether as a foaming agent.The foam was developed through a co-polycondensation reaction of glyoxal and furfuryl alcohol with condensed tannin and lignin,which is a forest-derived product.Investigation using scanning electron microscopy(SEM)showed more closed-cell structure without cracks and collapse in the TLFG foam,with a higher apparent density with respect to tannin–furanic–formaldehyde(TFF)foam.Differential scanning calorimetry(DSC),dynamic thermomechanical analysis(DTMA),and thermogravimetric analysis(TGA)investigations revealed that the curing process of TLFG foam proceeds easily even at a lower temperature.Additionally,it acquired higher heat resistance than TFF foam.Moreover,TLFG has a more robust chemical network structure,which contributes efficiently to the mechanical strength and a lower pulverization degree compared with TFF-derived foam.Fourier transform infrared spectrometry(FTIR)and electrospray ionization mass spectrometry(ESI-MS)proved that the cross-inking reactions between tannin,lignin,furfuryl alcohol,and glyoxal have been proceeded efficiently. | Bowen Liu Yunxia Zhou Hisham Essawy Shang Feng Xuehui Li Jingjing Liao Xiaojian Zhou Jun Zhang Sida Xie | 2022 | Journal of Renewable Materials2022,10,11: | 0 |

| 19 | Gp78 regulates PMP22 and causes ER stress and autophagy in EV71-VP1-overexpressing mouse Schwann cells显示文摘Background:During Enterovirus type 71(EV71)infection,the structural viral protein 1(VP1)activates endoplasmic reticulum(ER)stress associated with peripheral myelin protein 22(PMP22)accumulation and induces autophagy.However,the specific mechanism behind this process remains elusive.Methods:In this research,we used the VP1-overexpressing mouse Schwann cells(SCs)models co-transfected with a PMP22 silencing or Autocrine motility factor receptor(AMFR/gp78)overexpressing vector to explore the regulation of gp78 on PMP22 and its relationship with autophagy and apoptosis.Results:The activity of gp78 could be influenced by EV71-VP1,leading to a decrease in the ubiquitination and degradation of PMP22,resulting in PMP22 accumulation in ER.In VP1-overexpressing mouse SCs,all three ER stress sensors,including pancreatic endoplasmic reticulum kinase(PERK),activating transcription factor 6(ATF6)and inositol-requiring enzyme 1(IRE1)and the related downstream signals(C/EBP-homologous protein(CHOP)and Caspase 12)were activated,as well as the ER-resident chaperone Glucose-regulated protein 78(GRP78).In addition,VP1 upregulated the autophagy marker Microtubule-associated protein 1 light chain 3 beta(LC3B),while PMP22 silencing or gp78 overexpression reversed the phenomenon.Meanwhile,PMP22 silencing or gp78 overexpression increased proliferation of EV71-VP1-transfected mouse SCs.Conclusion:Gp78 could regulate PMP22 accumulation through ubiquitination degradation and cause ER stress and autophagy in EV71-VP1-overexpressing mouse SCs.Therefore,the gp78/PMP22/ER stress axis might emerge as a promising therapeutic target for myelin and neuronal damage induced by EV71 infection. | DANPING ZHU GUANGMING LIU KUAN FENG SUYUN LI DANDAN HU SIDA YANG PEIQING LI | 2024 | BIOCELL2024,48,4: | 0 |
| 20 | S100a9 deficiency accelerates MDS-associated tumor escape via PD-1/PD-L1 overexpression显示文摘In recent studies,the tolerable safety profile and positive bone marrow(BM)response suggest a beneficial use of anti-PD-1 agents in the treatment of Myelodysplastic Syndromes(MDS),but the underlying mechanism is still unknown.MDS is mainly characterized by ineffective hematopoiesis,which may contribute to inflammatory signaling or immune dysfunction.Our previous studies focused on inflammatory signaling,and the results showed that S100a9 expression was higher in low-risk MDS and lower in high-risk MDS.In this study,we combine the inflammatory signaling and immune dysfunction.SKM-1 cells and K562 cells co-cultured with S100a9 acquire apoptotic features.Moreover,we confirm the inhibitory effect of S100a9 on PD-1/PD-L1.Importantly,PD-1/PD-L1 blockade and S100a9 can both activate the PI3K/AKT/mTOR signaling pathway.The cytotoxicity is higher in lowerrisk MDS-lymphocytes than in high-risk MDS-lymphocytes,and S100a9 partially rescues the exhausted cytotoxicity in lymphocytes.Our study demonstrates that S100a9 may inhibit MDS-associated tumor escape via PD-1/PD-L1 blockade through PI3K/AKT/mTOR signaling pathway activation.Our findings indicate the possible mechanisms by which anti-PD-1 agents may contribute to the treatment of MDS.These insights may provide mutation-specific treatment as a supplementary therapy for MDS patients with high-risk mutations,such as TP53,N-RAS or other complex mutations. | Roujia Wang Youshan Zhao Zijuan Li Juan Guo Sida Zhao Luxi Song Dong Wu Lan Wang Chunkang Chang | 2023 | Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2023,55,2: | 0 |
