1Training for smart manufacturing using a mobile robot-based production line显示文摘Practice experimentation that integrates the manufacturing processes and cutting-edge technologies of smart manufacturing (SM) is essential for future academic and applied engineering personnel. The broadening efficacy of hands-on experience in SM engineering education has been manifested. In this regard, a reference practical system is proposed in this study for hands-on training in SM crucial advancements. The system constructs a mobile robot-based production line (MRPL) to increase participants’ interest in theoretical learning and professional skills. The MRPL-based reference system includes the comprehensive principles and processes involved in modern SM factories from warehousing to logistics, processing, and testing. With key features of modularity, integrability, customizability, and open architecture, this system has a threefold objective. First, it is an interdisciplinary subject that enables students to translate classroom learning into authentic practices, thus facilitating knowledge synthesis and training involvements. Second, it offers effective support to cultivate the attributions and behavioral competencies of SM talents, such as perseverance, adaptability, and cooperation. Third, it promotes students’ capacities for critical thinking and problem solving so that they can deal with the difficulties that physical systems have and motivates them to pursue careers with new syllabi, functions, and process techno-logies. 2Design and experimental performance verification of a thermal property test-bed for lunar drilling exploration显示文摘Chinese Chang'e lunar exploration project aims to collect and return subsurface lunar soil samples at a minimum penetration depth of 2 m in 2017. However, in contrast to those on the Earth, automated drilling and sampling missions on the Moon raise the risk of burning bits.Test-beds are required for testing the thermal properties of drill tools in a lunar environment. In this paper, a novel temperature measuring method based on thermocouples and a slip ring was proposed. Furthermore, a data acquisition system for a drilling process was designed. A vacuous,cryogenic, and anhydrous soil environment simulating the lunar surface was established. A drilling test-bed that can reach a depth of 2.2 m was developed. A control strategy based on online monitoring signals was proposed to improve the drilling performance. Vacuum and non-vacuum experiments were performed to test the temperature rising effect on drill tools. When compared with the non-vacuum experiment, the vacuum temperature rise resulted in a 12 °C increase. 3Genomic evidence of lung carcinogenesis associated with coal smoke in Xuanwei area, China显示文摘Xuanwei area, in southwestern China,harbors the highest female lung cancer rate in the country(Supplementary Table 1) [1]. Epidemiological studies have shown that lung cancer incidence in Xuanwei area is associated with the use of different types of local coal for household cooking and heating [2]. The genomic landscape of Xuanwei female adenocarcinoma(XWFA), the most distinctive feature of lung cancer in Xuanwei, has yet to be elucidated systematically. 5Influence of yttrium on purification and carbide precipitation of superalloy K4169显示文摘The effect of reactive element yttrium on purification and carbide precipitation of superalloy K4169 has been studied through vacuum induction melting.The results show that yttrium has a strong deoxidizing and desulfurizing ability,and the impurity elements of sulfur and oxygen in melting K4169 are greatly reduced to 2-5 ppm and 4-5 ppm,respectively.The metallurgical reaction product is mainly Y_(2)O_(3)and yttrium containing sulfides have not been observed.With the increase of the content of yttrium from0.005 wt.%to 0.033 wt.%,the morphology and size of MC carbides in casting are significantly influenced due to that the yttrium changes the diffusion of the carbide forming elements and solid fraction during solidification.In the alloys without yttrium,only isolated blocky or strip carbides exist,while skeletonlike carbides are observed in the alloys with yttrium.Both the average size and the number density of skeleton carbides decrease monotonously with yttrium content increasing.After yttrium increasing to 0.033 wt.%,a phase of hexagonal Ni17 Y2 is observed to precipitate in the form of symbiosis with MC carbide and matrix.The addition of yttrium is not beneficial for the properties of K4169 alloys at the room temperature,which is quite related to the MC carbides with a large skeleton-like morphology through the analysis of tensile fracture.Shuting Cao Yaqian Yang Bo Chen Kui Liu Yingche Ma Leilei Ding Junjie Shi 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,27:1

7Ultrasensitive assays for detection of plasma tau and phosphorylated tau 181 in Alzheimer's disease:a systematic review and meta-analysis显示文摘A lack of convenient and reliable biomarkers for diagnosis and prognosis is a common challenge for neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's disease(AD).Recent advancement in ultrasensitive protein assays has allowed the quantification of tau and phosphorylated tau proteins in peripheral plasma.Here we identified 66 eligible studies reporting quantification of plasma tau and phosphorylated tau 181(ptau181)using four ultrasensitive methods.Meta-analysis of these studies confirmed that the AD patients had significantly higher plasma tau and ptau181 levels compared with controls,and that the plasma tau and ptau181 could predict AD with high-accuracy area under curve of the Receiver Operating Characteristic Therefore,plasma tau and plasma ptau181 can be considered as biomarkers for AD diagnosis.Xulong Ding Shuting Zhang Lijun Jiang Lu Wang Tao Li Peng Lei 2021Translational Neurodegeneration2021,10,1:1
8Transcriptomic and genetic approaches reveal that low-light-induced disease susceptibility is related to cellular oxidative stress in tomato显示文摘The impact of low light intensities on plant disease outbreaks represents a major challenge for global crop security,as it frequently results in significant yield losses.However,the underlying mechanisms of the effect of low light on plant defense are still poorly understood.Here,using an RNA-seq approach,we found that the susceptibility of tomato to Pseudomonas syringae pv.tomato DC3000(Pst DC3000)under low light was associated with the oxidation-reduction process.Low light conditions exacerbated Pst DC3000-induced reactive oxygen species(ROS)accumulation and protein oxidation.Analysis of gene expression and enzyme activity of ascorbate peroxidase 2(APX2)and other antioxidant enzymes revealed that these defense responses were significantly induced by Pst DC3000 inoculation under normal light,whereas these genes and their associated enzyme activities were not responsive to pathogen inocula-tion under low light.Additionally,the reduced ascorbate to dehydroascorbate(AsA/DHA)ratio was lower under low light compared with normal light conditions upon Pst DC3000 inoculation.Furthermore,the apx2 mutants generated by a CRISPR-Cas9 gene-editing approach were more susceptible to Pst DC3000 under low light conditions.Notably,this increased susceptibility could be significantly reduced by exogenous AsA treatment.Collectively,our findings suggest that low-light-induced disease susceptibility is associated with increased cellular oxidative stress in tomato plants.This study sheds light on the intricate relationship between light conditions,oxidative stress,and plant defense responses,and may pave the way for improved crop protection strategies in low light environments.Qian Luo Jiao Wang Ping Wang Xiao Liang Jianxin Li Changqi Wu Hanmo Fang Shuting Ding Shujun Shao Kai Shi 2023Horticulture Research2023,10,10:0
9High rate and ultralong life flexible all-solid-state zinc ion battery based on electron density modulated NiCo_(2)O_(4) nanosheets显示文摘The development of zinc ion batteries (ZIBs) with large capacity,high rate,and durable cathode material is a crucial and urgent task.Ni Co_(2)O_(4)(NCO) has received ever-growing interest as a potential cathode material for ZIBs,owing to the high theoretical capacity,rich source,cost-effective,and versatile redox nature.However,due to the slow dynamics of the NCO electrodes,its practical application in highperformance systems is severely limited.Herein,we report an electron density modulated NCO nanosheets (N-NCO NSs) with high-kinetics Zn^(2+)-storage capability as an additive-free cathode for flexible all-solid-state (ASS) ZIBs.By virtue of the enhanced electronic conductivity,improved reaction kinetics,and increased active sites,the optimized N-NCO NSs electrode delivers a high capacity of 357.7 m Ah g^(-1)at 1.0 A g^(-1)and a superior rate capacity of 201.4 m Ah g^(-1)at 20 A g^(-1).More importantly,a flexible ASS ZIBs device is manufactured using a solid polymer electrolyte of a poly (vinylidene fluoride hexafluoropropylene)(PVDF-HFP) film.The flexible ASS ZIBs device shows superb durability with 80.2%capacity retention after 20,000 cycles and works well in the range of-20–70℃.Furthermore,the flexible ASS ZIBs achieves an impressive energy density as high as 578.1 W h kg^(-1)with a peak power density of 33.6 k W kg^(-1),substantially outperforming those latest ZIBs.This work could provide valuable insights for constructing high-kinetics and high-capability cathodes with long-term stability for flexible ASS ZIBs.Wenda Qiu Yunlei Tian Zhenchao Lin Shuting Lin Zhangqi Geng Kaitao Huang Aihua Lei Fuchun Huang Huajie Feng Fengze Ding Yu Li Xihong Lu 2022Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,7:0
10Study on the Electric Actuation of Liquid Metal Column in Confining System显示文摘Research on micro-machines is becoming popular.In this paper,the electric driving behavior of liquid metal columns in confining channel was studied.When the electric field was applied,the liquid metal near the negative electrode became flat,longer.The NaOH electrolyte(1.0 mol/L)could flow from the positive electrode to the negative electrode from a small space above the liquid metal column.Besides,the length and volume of the liquid metal would affect its motion and deformation behavior.Both cylindrical liquid column(R=5 mm,L=5 cm)and linear liquid column(R=5 mm,L=40 cm)exhibit deformable movements,which are similar to the bionic movements of earthworms.The electrically driven liquid metal in closed systems could provide a theoretical basis for droplet actuation in microtubes.It has a very wide application prospect in the field of micro-drive machines.Shuting Liang Zengwei Wang Fengjiao Li Mengjun Huang Ge Ding 2022Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2022,35,3:0
11Solid State Reaction Preparation of LiFePO_4/(C+Cu) Cathode Material and Its Electrochemical Performance显示文摘CueC co-coated LiFePO4(LiFePO4/(C+Cu)) cathode material was successfully prepared through solid state reduction reaction.The optimized additive amount of℃uO was determined by electrochemical test of series content-dependent samples.Electrochemical performances of LiFePO4/(C+Cu) cathode material were investigated.℃rystalline structure,morphology and electrochemical performance of the samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction,scanning electron microscopy(SEM),transmission electron microscopy(TEM),energy dispersive spectroscopy(EDS),chargeedischarge tests and AC impedance techniques.Results showed that crystal structure of the bulk material was not destroyed after℃u particles distributed on the surface of LiFePO4/C.With 5 wt%℃uO additive,the LiFePO4/(C+Cu) cathode material showed improved electrochemical performance especially at high rates and low temperature.At 25℃ and 0.1℃ current rate,specific capacity of the℃u-coated sample reaches 161.3 mA h/g.The result was 47 mA h/g higher than that of the un-coated one.At 20℃,the discharge capacity of℃u-coated materials was 113.4 mA h/g at 0.1℃ rate and 83.8 mA h/g at 5℃ rate,which reached about 70% of that at room temperature,respectively.Yanhong Yin Xiangnan Li Xinxin Mao Xianliang Ding Shuting Yang 2013Journal of Materials Science & Technology2013,29,10:0
