1Zircon SHRIMP Dating for the Weiya Pluton, Eastern Tianshan: Its Geological Implications显示文摘The timing of the emplacement of the Weiya pluton remains controversial due to the absence of systematic and precise dating. This paper reports zircon SHRIMP U-Pb dating of different lithologic phases in the Weiya pluton, and discusses the genesis and tectonic environment. The ages of gabbro, quartz syenite, diorite porphyrite and fine-grained granite are 236?6 Ma, 246?6 Ma, 233?8 Ma and 237?8 Ma, respectively. All these phases were formed in early-middle Indosinian (Triassic) in a post-orogenic environment. In addition to underplating, intraplating of mantle-derived magmas is also a substantial mechanism for magma generation and vertical accretion of the continental crust. Granitoid rocks are important products of vertical continental accretion as underplating evolves gradually to intraplating. 2Addition of prokinetics to PPI therapy in gastroesophageal reflux disease:A meta-analysis显示文摘AIM:To investigate the efficacy of adding prokinetics to proton pump inhibitors(PPIs)for the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease(GERD).METHODS:PubMed,Cochrane Library,and Web of Knowledge databases(prior to October 2013)were systematically searched for randomized controlled trials(RCTs)that compared therapeutic efficacy of PPI alone(single therapy)or PPI plus prokinetics(combined therapy)for GERD.The primary outcome of those selected trials was complete or partial relief of non-erosive reflux disease symptoms or mucosal healing in erosive reflux esophagitis.Using the test of heterogeneity,we established a fixed or random effects model where the risk ratio was the primary readout for measuring efficacy.RESULTS:Twelve RCTs including 2403 patients in total were enrolled in this study.Combined therapy was not associated with significant relief of symptoms or alterations in endoscopic response relative to single therapy(95%CI:1.0-1.2,P=0.05;95%CI:0.66-2.61,P=0.44).However,combined therapy was associated with a greater symptom score change(95%CI:2.14-3.02,P<0.00001).Although there was a reduction in the number of reflux episodes in GERD[95%CI:-5.96-(-1.78),P=0.0003]with the combined therapy,there was no significant effect on acid exposure time(95%CI:-0.37-0.60,P=0.65).The proportion of patients with adverse effects undergoing combined therapy was significantly higher than for PPI therapy alone(95%CI:1.06-1.36,P=0.005)when the difference between 5-HT receptor agonist and PPI combined therapy and single therapy(95%CI:0.84-1.39,P=0.53)was excluded.CONCLUSION:Combined therapy may partially improve patient quality of life,but has no significant effect on symptom or endoscopic response of GERD.Li-Hua Ren Wei-Xu Chen Li-Juan Qian Shuo Li Min Gu Rui-Hua Shi 2014World Journal of Gastroenterology2014,20,9:14
3Genome Characteristics and Evolution of Pseudorabies Virus Strains in Eastern China from 2017 to 2019显示文摘Since late 2011,outbreaks of pseudorabies virus(PRV)have occurred in southern China causing major economic losses to the pig industry.We previously reported that variant PRV forms and recombination in China could be the source of continued epidemics.Here,we analyzed samples from intensive pig farms in eastern China between 2017 and 2019,and sequenced the main glycoproteins(gB,gC,gD,and gE)to study the evolution characteristics of PRV.Based on the gC gene,we found that PRV variants belong to clade 2 and detected a founder effect during by the PRV epidemic.In addition,we detected inter-and intra-clade recombination;in particular,inter-clade recombination in the gB genes of strains FJ-ZXF and FJ-W2,which were recombinant with clade 1 strains.We also found specific amino-acid changes and positively selected sites,possibly associated with functional changes.This analysis of the emergence of PRV in China illustrates the need for continuous monitoring and the development of vaccines against specific variants of PRV.Xiaofeng Zhai Wen Zhao Kemang Li Cheng Zhang Congcong Wang Shuo Su Jiyong Zhou Jing Lei Gang Xing Haifeng Sun Zhiyu Shi Jinyan Gu 2019Virologica Sinica2019,34,6:12
4Imaging through unknown scattering media based on physics-informed learning显示文摘Imaging through scattering media is one of the hotspots in the optical field, and impressive results have been demonstrated via deep learning(DL). However, most of the DL approaches are solely data-driven methods and lack the related physics prior, which results in a limited generalization capability. In this paper, through the effective combination of the speckle-correlation theory and the DL method, we demonstrate a physics-informed learning method in scalable imaging through an unknown thin scattering media, which can achieve high reconstruction fidelity for the sparse objects by training with only one diffuser. The method can solve the inverse problem with more general applicability, which promotes that the objects with different complexity and sparsity can be reconstructed accurately through unknown scattering media, even if the diffusers have different statistical properties. This approach can also extend the field of view(FOV) of traditional speckle-correlation methods. 5Tetramethylpyrazine prevents liver fibrotic injury in mice by targeting hepatocyte-derived and mitochondrial DNA-enriched extracellular vesicles显示文摘Liver fibrosis is the common consequence of almost all liver diseases and has become an urgent clinical problem without efficient therapies.Recent evidence has shown that hepatocytes-derived extracellular vesicles(EVs)play important roles in liver pathophysiology,but little is known about the role of damaged hepatocytes-derived EVs in hepatic stellate cell(HSC)activation and following fibrosis.Tetramethylpyrazine(TMP)from Ligusticum wallichii Franchat exhibits a broad spectrum of biological activities including liver protection.In this study,we investigated whether TMP exerted liver-protective action through regulating EV-dependent intercellular communication between hepatocytes and HSCs.Chronic liver injury was induced in mice by CCl_(4)(1.6 mg/kg,i.g.)twice a week for 8 weeks.In the last 4 weeks of CCl_(4) administration,mice were given TMP(40,80,160 mg·kg^(-1)·d^(-1),i.g.).Acute liver injury was induced in mice by injection of a single dose of CCl_(4)(0.8 mg/kg,i.p.).After injection,mice were treated with TMP(80 mg/kg)every 24 h.We showed that TMP treatment dramatically ameliorated CCl_(4)-induced oxidative stress and hepatic inflammation as well as acute or chronic liver fibrosis.In cultured mouse primary hepatocytes(MPHs),treatment with CCl_(4) or acetaminophen resulted in mitochondrial dysfunction,release of mitochondrial DNA(mtDNA)from injured hepatocytes to adjacent hepatocytes and HSCs through EVs,mediating hepatocyte damage and fibrogenic responses in activated HSCs;pretreatment of MPHs with TMP(25μM)prevented all these pathological effects.Transplanted serum EVs from TMP-treated mice prevented both initiation and progression of liver fibrosis caused by CCl_(4).Taken together,this study unravels the complex mechanisms underlying the protective effects of TMP against mtDNA-containing EV-mediated hepatocyte injury and HSC activation during liver injury,and provides critical evidence inspiring the development of TMP-based innovative therapeutic agents for the treatment of liver fibrosis.Ya-jing Li Run-ping Liu Ming-ning Ding Qi Zheng Jian-zhi Wu Xiao-yong Xue Yi-qing Gu Bo-ning Ma Ya-jie Cai Shuo Li Sheng Lin Lu-yong Zhang Xiaojiaoyang Li 2022Acta Pharmacologica Sinica2022,43,8:5

7Associating 197 Chinese herbal medicine with drug targets and diseases using the similarity ensemble approach显示文摘Chinese herbal medicine(CHM)addresses complex diseases through polypharmacological interactions.However,systematic studies of herbal medicine pharmacology remain challenging due to the complexity of CHM ingredients and their interactions with various targets.In this study,we aim to address this challenge with computational approaches.We investigated the herb-target-disease associations of 197 commonly prescribed CHMs using the similarity ensemble approach and DisGeNET database.We demonstrated that this method can be applied to associate herbs with their putative targets.In the case study of three well-known herbs,Radix Glycyrrhizae,Flos Lonicerae,and Rhizoma Coptidis,approximately 70%of the predicted targets were supported by scientific literature.By linking 406 targets to 2439 annotated diseases,we further analyzed the pharmacological functions of 197 herbs.Finally,we proposed a strategy of target-oriented herbal formula design and illustrated the target profiles for four common chronic diseases,namely,Alzheimer’s disease,depressive disorder,hypertensive disease,and non-insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus.This computational approach holds great potential in the target identification of herbs,understanding the molecular mechanisms of CHM,and designing novel herbal formulas.Shuo Gu Lu-hua Lai 2020Acta Pharmacologica Sinica2020,41,3:4

13Vitamin B6 regulates IL-33 homeostasis to alleviate type 2 inflammation显示文摘Interleukin-33(IL-33)is a crucial nuclear cytokine that induces the type 2 immune response and maintains immune homeostasis.The fine-tuned regulation of IL-33 in tissue cells is critical to control of the type 2 immune response in airway inflammation,but the mechanism is still unclear.Here,we found that healthy individuals had higher phosphate-pyridoxal(PLP,an active form of vitamin B6)concentrations in the serum than asthma patients.Lower serum PLP concentrations in asthma patients were strongly associated with worse lung function and inflammation.In a mouse model of lung inflammation,we revealed that PLP alleviated the type 2 immune response and that this inhibitory effect relied on the activity of IL-33.A mechanistic study showed that in vivo,pyridoxal(PL)needed to be converted into PLP,which inhibited the type 2 response by regulating IL-33 stability.In mice heterozygous for pyridoxal kinase(PDXK),the conversion of PL to PLP was limited,and IL-33 levels were increased in the lungs,aggravating type 2 inflammation.Furthermore,we found that the mouse double minute 2 homolog(MDM2)protein,an E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase,could ubiquitinate the N-terminus of IL-33 and sustain IL-33 stability in epithelial cells.PLP reduced MDM2-mediated IL-33 polyubiquitination and decreased the level of IL-33 through the proteasome pathway.In addition,inhalation of PLP alleviated asthma-related effects in mouse models.In summary,our data indicate that vitamin B6 regulates MDM2-mediated IL-33 stability to constrain the type 2 response,which might help develop a potential preventive and therapeutic agent for allergy-related diseases.Songling Zhu Shufen Zhong Kebin Cheng Li-Sha Zhang Jiu-wu Bai Zu Cao Su Wang Wen Chen Shipeng Cheng Liyan Ma Zhiyang Ling Yuying Huang Wangpeng Gu Xiaoyu Sun Chunyan Yi Meng Zhao Shuo Liang Jin-Fu Xu Bing Sun Yaguang Zhang 2023Cellular & Molecular Immunology2023,20,7:1

17Classification of weed seeds based on visual images and deep learning显示文摘Weeds are mainly spread by weed seeds being mixed with agricultural and forestry crop seeds,grain,animal hair,and other plant products,and disturb the growing environment of target plants such as crops and wild native plants.The accurate and efficient classification of weed seeds is important for the effective management and control of weeds.However,classification remains mainly dependent on destructive sampling-based manual inspection,which has a high cost and rather low flux.We considered that this problem could be solved using a nondestructive intelligent image recognition method.First,on the basis of the establishment of the image acquisition system for weed seeds,images of single weed seeds were rapidly and completely segmented,and a total of 47696 samples of 140 species of weed seeds and foreign materials remained.Then,six popular and novel deep Convolutional Neural Network(CNN)models are compared to identify the best method for intelligently identifying 140 species of weed seeds.Of these samples,33600 samples are randomly selected as the training dataset for model training,and the remaining 14096 samples are used as the testing dataset for model testing.AlexNet and GoogLeNet emerged from the quantitative evaluation as the best methods.AlexNet has strong classification accuracy and efficiency(low time consumption),and GoogLeNet has the best classification accuracy.A suitable CNN model for weed seed classification could be selected according to specific identification accuracy requirements and time costs of applications.This research is beneficial for developing a detection system for weed seeds in various applications.The resolution of taxonomic issues and problems associated with the identi-fication of these weed seeds may allow for more effective management and control.Tongyun Luo Jianye Zhao Yujuan Gu Shuo Zhang Xi Qiao Wen Tian Yangchun Han 2023Information Processing in Agriculture2023,10,1:1

19Service-Driven Coded Forward Scheme Based on Streaming Transmission Model for Lunar Space Communication Networks显示文摘With the rapid development of lunar exploration,a large amount of scientific data and media stream service needs to be transmitted through Lunar Space Communication Networks(LSCNs).Due to limited transmitter power and intermittent,long delay and packet loss connections,the reliable and efficient multi-priority services’transmission in LSCNs becomes an urgent problem.Firstly,we propose a Streaming Transmission Model(STM)based on temporal and spatial topology graph to describe the delay and energy consumption for data transmission in LSCNs.Then,we further devise a Coded Forward Scheme based on STM,termed CFS-STM,to achieve multi-priority service in two steps:i).Link Stability Function(LSF)is established by solving an optimization problem to choose the appropriate single-hop path.ii).Raptor code is employed to further save delay and energy with adjustable code-rate according to the different channel conditions.Experiment results show that,CFS-STM can significantly improve the transmission efficiency of multi-service priority streaming delivery in LSCNs.Shushi Gu Ye Wang Guoqing Chen Shuo Shi 2020China Communications2020,17,7:1
