Neofusicoccum parvum was isolated from these cankered tissues, with the identification based on morphology and an ITS-nr DNA sequence. In order to demonstrate how cultures of N. parvum could cause the expected symptoms, artificial infection, using these isolates and re-isolation of the pathogen, was used. | 2 | Target-triggered inhibiting oxidase-mimicking activity of platinum nanoparticles for ultrasensitive colorimetric detection of silver ion显示文摘The development of efficient methods for the detection of hazardous and toxic elements is extremely important for environmental security and public health. In this work, we developed a facile colorimetric assaying system for Ag+ detection in aqueous solution. Chitosan-stabilized platinum nanoparticles(ChPtNPs) were synthesized and severed as an artificial oxidase to catalyze the oxidation of the substrate3,30,5,50-tetramethylbenzidine(TMB) and generate color signal. In the presence of Ag+, due to the strong metallophilic interactions between Ag+ and Pt2+ on the surface of Ch-PtNPs, Ag+ can weaken the affinity to the substrates and inactivate the catalytic activity of Ch-PtNPs, leading to decreased absorbance signal to varying degrees depending on Ag+ amount. Combing the specific binding between Ch-PtNPs and Ag+ with signal amplification procedure based on the Ch-PtNPs-catalyzed TMB oxidation, a sensitive,selective, simple, cost-effective, and rapid detection method for Ag+ can be realized. Ag+ ions in tap and lake waters have been successfully detected. | 3 | Li intercalation in an MoSe_(2) electrocatalyst:In situ observation and modulation of its precisely controllable phase engineering for a high-performance flexible Li-S battery显示文摘Sophisticated efficient electrocatalysts are essential to rectifying the shuttle effect and realizing the high performance of flexible lithium-sulfur batteries(LSBs).Phase transformation of MoSe_(2) from the 2H phase to the 1T phase has been proven to be a significant method to improve the catalytic activity.However,precisely controllable phase engineering of MoSe_(2) has rarely been reported.Herein,by in situ Li ions intercalation in MoSe_(2),a precisely controllable phase evolution from 2H-MoSe_(2) to 1T-MoSe_(2) was realized.More importantly,the definite functional relationship between cut-off voltage and phase structure was first identified for phase engineering through in situ observation and modulation methods.The sulfur host(CNFs/1T-MoSe_(2))presents high charge density,strong polysulfides adsorption,and catalytic kinetics.Moreover,Li-S cells based on it display capacity retention of 875.3mAh g^(-1) after 500 cycles at 1 C and an areal capacity of 8.71mAh cm^(-2) even at a high sulfur loading of 8.47mg cm^(-2).Furthermore,the flexible pouch cell exhibiting decent performance will endow a promising potential in the wearable energy storage field.This study proposes an effective strategy to precisely control the phase structure of MoSe_(2),which may provide the reference to fabricate the highly efficient electrocatalysts for LSBs and other energy systems. | Yunke Wang Yige Zhao Kangli Liu Shaobin Wang Neng Li Guosheng Shao Feng Wang Peng Zhang | 2023 | Carbon Energy2023,5,2: | 2 |
| 4 | Boron carbide boosted Fenton-like oxidation: A novel Fe(Ⅲ)/Fe(Ⅱ) circulation显示文摘The sluggish kinetics of Fe(Ⅱ)recovery in Fenton/Fenton-like reactions significantly limits the oxidation efficiency.In this study,we for the first time use boron carbide(BC)as a green and stable promotor to enhance the reaction of Fe(Ⅲ)/H_(2)O_(2) for degradation of diverse organic pollutants.Electron paramagnetic resonance analysis and chemical quenching/capturing experiments demonstrate that hydroxyl radicals(·OH)are the primary reactive species in the BC/Fe(Ⅲ)/H_(2)O_(2) system.In situ electrochemical analysis indicates that BC remarkably boosts the Fe(Ⅲ)/Fe(Ⅱ)redox cycles,where the adsorbed Fe(Ⅲ)cations were transformed to more active Fe(Ⅲ)species with a higher oxidative potential to react with H_(2)O_(2) to produce Fe(Ⅱ).Thus,the recovery of Fe(Ⅱ)from Fe(Ⅲ)is facilitated over BC surface,which enhancesOH generation via Fenton reactions.Moreover,BC exhibits outstanding reusability and stability in successive cycles and avoids the secondary pollution caused by conventional organic and metalliferous promotors.Therefore,metal-free BC boosting Fe(Ⅲ)/H_(2)O_(2) oxidation of organics provides a green and advanced strategy for water decontamination. | Peng Zhou Feng Cheng Gang Nie Yangyang Yang Kunsheng Hu Xiaoguang Duan Yongli Zhang Shaobin Wang | 2020 | Green Energy & Environment2020,5,4: | 2 |

| 13 | Complex permittivity-dependent plasma confinement-assisted growth of asymmetric vertical graphene nanofiber membrane for high-performance Li-S full cells显示文摘Vertical graphene(VG),possessing superior chemical,physical,and structural peculiarities,holds great promise as a building block for constructing a high-energy density lithium-sulfur(Li-S)battery.Therefore,it is desirable to develop a new VG growth technique with a novel structure to enable wide applications.Herein,we devise a novel complex permittivity-dependent plasma confinement-assisted VG growth technique,via asymmetric growing a VG layer on one side of N-doped carbon nanofibers for the first time,using a unique lab-built high flux plasma-enhanced chemical vapor deposition system,as a bifunctional nanofiber membrane to construct Li-S batteries with low neg-ative/positive(N/P)and electrolyte/sulfur(E/S)ratios.The unique nanofiber membrane could simultaneously protect the cathode and anode,enabling an excellent electrochemical performance with low N/P and E/S ratios in Li-S bat-teries.Such a full cell delivers high gravimetric energy density and volumetric energy density of 340 Wh kg^(-1) and 547 Wh L^(-1),respectively,at low N/P(2:1)and E/S(4:1)ratios.Furthermore,a pouch cell achieves a high areal capacity of 7.1 mAh cm^(-2) at a sulfur loading of 6 mg cm^(-2).This work put forward a novel pathway for the design of high-energy density Li-S batteries. | Yongshang Zhang Zhiheng Wu Shaobin Wang Neng Li S.Ravi P.Silva Guosheng Shao Peng Zhang | 2022 | InfoMat2022,4,7: | 1 |
