1CapOX as neoadjuvant chemotherapy for locally advanced operable colon cancer patients: a prospective single-arm phase Ⅱ trial显示文摘Objective: The aim of this prospective, single-arm phase II trial was to confirm the safety and efficacy of neoadjuvant chemotherapy(NAC) using oxaliplatin plus capecitabine(Cap OX) for patients with operable locally advanced colon cancer(CC).Methods: Patients with computed tomography-defined T4 or lymph node-positive CCs were enrolled. After radiological staging, patients were treated with at least 2 cycles of NAC consisting of 130 mg/m2 oxaliplatin on d 1,plus 1,000 mg/m2 capecitabine twice daily for 14 d every 3 weeks, followed by surgery, and then with the rest cycles of adjuvant chemotherapy. Radiological response was evaluated after 2 cycles of NAC. Tumor response, treatment toxicity, and surgical complications were recorded. The pathological response to therapy was evaluated according to the tumor regression grade(TRG) score. The primary endpoint was pathologic tumor response. This trial is registered in Clinical Trials.gov(No: NCT02415829).Results: Forty-seven patients were enrolled in the study. Forty-two patients completed the planned treatments.The total radiological response rate was 68%(32/47), including complete and partial response rates of 2%(1/47)and 66%(31/47), respectively. Stable disease was observed in 32%(15/47) and progressive disease was observed in none. Complete pathologic response, major regression, and at least moderate regression were achieved in 1(2%), 2(4%), and 29(62%) patients, respectively. Four patients developed grade 3 treatment toxicities. One patient with wound infection occurred after operation(1/47, 2%). 2Salt-assisted chemical vapor deposition of two-dimensional materials显示文摘Two-dimensional(2D) materials with atomic thickness are promising candidates for the applications in future semiconductor devices, owing to their fascinating physical properties and superlative optoelectronic performance. Chemical vapor deposition(CVD) is considered to be an efficient method for large-scale preparation of 2D materials toward practical applications.However, the high melting points of metal precursors and the thermodynamics instabilities of metastable phases limit the direct CVD synthesis of plenty of 2D materials. The salt has recently been introduced into the CVD process, which proved to be effective to address these issues. In this review, we highlighted the latest progress in the salt-assisted CVD growth of 2D materials, including layered and non-layered crystals. Firstly, strategies of adding salts are summarized. Then, the salt-assisted growth of various layered materials is presented, emphasizing on the transition metal chalcogenides of stable and metastable phases. Furthermore, strategies to grow ultrathin non-layered materials are discussed. We provide viewpoints into the techniques of using salt, the effects of salt, and the growth mechanisms of 2D crystals. 3Study on the sedimentation capability of bauxite flotation concentrate显示文摘The sedimentation behaviors of bauxite flotation concentrates were investigated at different pH values and flocculant dosages. The effects of three types of flocculants (cationic,anionic and non-ionic polyacrylamide flocculants) as well as the molecular weight of anionic flocculants on the sedimentation of concentrate were studied. 4Flotation mechanism of octylic hydroxamic acid on diaspore显示文摘Bauxite resources are widely spread in the earth. However, the effective utilization of this mineral is still under infant. The conventional collector for diaspore mineral is oleic acid. It has three main drawbacks which are highly insoluble, large dosages in bauxite flotation, and low selectivity, which hinder its application in industry. 6Novel DDS Based OFDM Transmitter Structure without IFFT and Interpolation Filter显示文摘The traditional orthogonal frequency divi-sion multiplexing(OFDM)transmitter is implemented by inverse fast Fourier transform(IFFT),up-sampling and low pass shaping filter(LPSF),which occupy a large number of hardware resources and have long la-tency.To further meet the 5G and future 6G commu-nication requirements,this paper proposes a novel di-rect digital synthesis(DDS)based OFDM transmitter structure that can replace these modules.Due to the strong parallelism of the system structure,it is very suitable for implementation on field programable gate array(FPGA)platform.After making two special sim-plifications to the primary structure,the refined struc-ture becomes very simple compared with the tradi-tional structures.Most attractively,the proposed struc-ture has the following three advantages that i)the data transformation from frequency domain to time domain has zero latency,ii)the transformation length does not need to be an integer power of 2 and iii)the struc-ture does not even need to use any multiplier,thus leading to low implementation complexity and high speed.Comparative experiments are carried out on Intel FPGA platform which show that our DDS based structure can save more than half of the resources com-pared with the traditional structures and can provide the same bit error rate(BER)performance under the condition without using any LPSF.Sanjun Liu Guangming Gan 2021China Communications2021,18,12:2
7Highly Configurable Floating-Point FFT IP Core with Reusing Method显示文摘A highly configurable fast Fourier transform intellectual property core (FFT IP core) that can be mounted on Avalon bus of Nios II processor is designed in this paper, by the means of custombuilt components in SOPC Builder. Not only the data number can be configured to 2n and the data width can be configured as integer or floating-point number of 32 bits, but also the number of inner butterfly units is configurable, which can effectively resolve the contradiction between speed and hardware resource occupancy. The IP core is designed by butterfly computing elements of a mixed radix-4 and radix-2 algorithm and applies the inplace addressing scheme and reusing method to reduce hard-ware resources consumption. Functional simulation by Quartus Ⅱplatform proves that the results calculated by FFT IP core are ac-cordant with the Matlab results. Hardware test on DE2 development board by timestamp timer demonstrates that the FFT IP core costs only 34.8 μs to achieve FFT of 512 sampled data with precision of 32-bit floating point. 11Study on the accelerant to the sodium oleate during bauxite flotation显示文摘The conventional collector for diasporemineral is oleic acid(OLA),which is highly insoluble and must be used in high dosage in bauxite flotation.Firstly flotation experiments with every reagent(sodium oleate,tween-20)were carried out and it was shown that sodium oleate was an effective diaspore collector,whereas nonionic surfactant tween-20 showed little collectivity.Then experiments were carried out with sodium oleate as the main collector with the addition of tween-20 to study the influences of potentiator on diaspore flotation.It could be seen from the experiments that potentiator had a marked influence on the recovery of diaspore,which was raised by more than 12% and that addition sequence also affected the flotation behavior.It gave the best results with the reagents mixed thoroughly before added and the best ratio of collector oleic acid and potentiator tween-20 stood at 10:1.From the calculation of the ingredients in the sodium oleate solution,at the pH 9,sodium oleate acted with surface of themineral with the acid-soap polymer [HOL·OL-].Zeta potential test showed that the potentiator promoted the absorption of collector on themineral surface,which lowered zeta potential.As could be seen from surface tension experiments,the addition of potentiator tween-20 lowered the CMC(critical micelle concentration) value of oleic acid solution,which was equivalent to raise the power of the agents.By the adsorptive capability tests,with the addition of tween-20,the adsorption of oleic acid on diaspore got more.Liu Sanjun Hu Yuehua Qin Wenqing 2012Engineering Sciences2012,10,2:1

15Novel Low-Complexity Low-Latency Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing Transmitter显示文摘Traditional orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(OFDM) transmitter is implemented by exploiting inverse fast Fourier transform(IFFT), up-sampling, and low pass shaping filter(LPSF) modules, which occupy a large number of hardware resources and severely lower down the operation speed. To address these limitations, we propose a novel OFDM transmitter architecture, by which the aforementioned modules can be discarded and replaced with some simple switches. In the proposed architecture, direct digital synthesis(DDS) method is employed to generate digital sub-carriers and to transform OFDM data from frequency domain to time domain. Through some sophisticated simplifications, the proposed architecture can avoid using multipliers and remarkably save hardware resources.
