| 1 | History of the infantile hepatic hemangioma:From imaging to generating a differential diagnosis显示文摘We aim to provide an up-to-date summary of infantile hepatic hemangioma(IHH) and its misnomers and to dialectically present the differential diagnosis of these rare entities of the liver.Eligible peer-reviewed articles on hepatic infantile hemangiomas,published between 2000 and 2015,were reviewed for this study.IHH is the most common hepatic vascular tumor in children.Once a liver mass is identified in an infant,the differential diagnosis ranges from vascular malformations to benign and malignant tumors including mesenchymal hamartoma,hepatoblastoma,metastatic neuroblastoma,so careful physical examination,imaging studies,and,if indicated,tumor markers and biopsy,are of pivotal importance to ascertain the correct diagnosis.Despite the benign nature of IHHs,some of these lesions may demand medical and/or surgical intervention,especially for multiple and diffuse IHH.Complications can include hepatomegaly,hypothyroidism and cardiac failure.Therefore,a close follow-up is required until complete involution of the lesions.We propose an algorithm to guide the physicians towards the proper management of hepatic lesions. | Maria Gnarra Gerald Behr Alison Kitajewski June K Wu Sudha A Anupindi Carrie J Shawber Nick Zavras Dimitrios Schizas Chris Salakos Konstantinos P Economopoulos | 2016 | World Journal of Clinical Pediatrics2016，5，3： | 27 |

| 3 | Antioxidant and hepatoprotective effects of Hypsizygus ulmarius polysaccharide on alcoholic liver injury in rats显示文摘Hypsizygus ulmarius polysaccharide(HUP)is a water-soluble polysaccharide obtained by hot water extraction,followed by precipitation and deproteinization.The characteristics of HUP,antioxidant activity and liver protection against alcohol-induced liver damage were studied.Structural characteristics indicate that the HUP is a pyran-type polysaccharide with a molecular weight of 2076 Da.In antioxidant scavenging assay,HUP showed moderate DMPD radical scavenging activity,cupric ion reducing antioxidant capacity and inhibitory effect against lipid peroxidation in a dose-dependent manner.Regarding in vivo hepatoprotective activity,compared with the ethanol induction group,pre-treatment of low and high doses of HUP signifi cantly reduced the behaviours of serum enzymes,lowered the levels of hepatic oxidative stress markers,restored the levels of biochemical constituents,enhanced the levels of liver and serum enzymatic antioxidants and non-enzymatic antioxidants,and improved the serum lipid levels of alcohol-intoxicated rats.The hepatoprotective effect of HUP was comparable to positive control silymarin.Besides,HUP pre-treatment signifi cantly normalized the histopathological changes induced by ethanol.The results indicate that HUP could be used as a functional food and may protect the biological system from oxidative stress through its antioxidant activity,thus having a signifi cant protective effect on acute alcoholic liver injury. | Sudha Govindan Angu Jayabal Jayasakthi Shanmugam Prasanna Ramani | 2021 | Food Science and Human Wellness2021，10，4： | 6 |

| 5 | 结核病的性别差异:南印度某农村地区DOTS项目报告显示文摘背景:南印度 Tiruvallur 地区。目的:了解 14 岁以上成年人在结核感染和患病、就医途径、就医行为、诊断延误、接受 DOT的方便程度、疾病歧视以及治疗依从性等方面的性别差异。方法:相关数据主要来自:1)社区调查,2)在公立初级保健卫生机构(PHIS)主动就医的病人,3)转诊到 PHIS 进行痰涂片检查的可疑结核病人;4)DOTS 策略下的登记报告结核病人。并将社区调查结果与 PHIS 登记病人进行比较。结果:社区人群中 66%的男性和 57%的女性感染了结核菌;男性和女性的涂阳肺结核患病率分别为568/10 万和87/10 万。在 PHIS 就医的男性少于女性,男女之比为 68:100。女性占社区调查发现涂阳病人的 13%;占 PHIS 发现病人的 20%(P<0.05)。随着年龄的增长,男性和女性的登记率显著降低。女性感觉难于与家人讨论自己病情的比例要高于男性(21%∶14%),也更需要有人陪伴去接受 DOT(11%∶6%)。男性的治疗中断率比女性高 1 倍(19%∶8%;P<0.01)。结论:尽管女性发病后更容易遭受歧视和不便,但女性更易于利用医疗服务、接受 DOTS 策略登记以及依从治疗。而男性以及高龄病人在诊断和 DOT服务方面更需要帮助。 | R. | 8 | SDN assisted Stackelberg Game model for LTE-WiFi offloading in 5G networks显示文摘The data traffic that is accumulated at the Macro Base Station(MBS)keeps on increasing as almost all the people start using mobile phones.The MBS cannot accommodate all user’s demands,and attempts to offload some users to the nearby small cells so that the user could get the expected service.For the MBS to offload data traffic to an Access Point(AP),it should offer an optimal economic incentive in a way its utility is maximized.Similarly,the APs should choose an optimal traffic to admit load for the price that it gets from MBS.To balance this tradeoff between the economic incentive and the admittance load to achieve optimal offloading,Software Defined Networking(SDN)assisted Stackelberg Game(SaSG)model is proposed.In this model,the MBS selects the users carefully to aggregate the service with AP,so that the user experiencing least service gets aggregated first.The MBS uses the Received Signal Strength Indicator(RSSI)value of the users as the main parameter for aggregating a particular user for a contract period with LTE and WiFi.Each player involved in the game tries to maximize their payoff utilities,and thus,while incorporating those utilities in real-time scenario,we obtain maximum throughput per user which experiences best data service without any lack in Quality of Experience(QoE).Thus,the proposed SaSG model proves better when compared with other game theory models,and hence an optimal data offloading is achieved. | Sudha Anbalagan Dhananjay Kumar Gunasekaran Raja Alkondan Balaji | 2019 | Digital Communications and Networks2019，5，4： | 3 |
| 9 | Molt and reproduction enhancement together with hemolymph ecdysteroid elevation under eyestalk ablation in the female fiddler crab,Uca triangularis(Brachyura:Decapoda)显示文摘We present the results of eyestalk extirpation experiments performed on the fiddler crab, Uca triangularis at seasons of molting and reproduction, with a view to have a better understanding of the regulatory mechanisms of these two highly energy-demanding processes. Bilateral eyestalk ablation resulted in precocious acceleration of both molting and reproduction, irrespective of the season at which each experiment was conducted. The rate of accelerated ovarian growth, however, was maximum if the eyestalk ablation was conducted during August–January, the breeding season in the wild, or in February–May(molting-reproductive season), wherein a section of the wild population would be engaged in molting and another section in breeding. The highest degree of precocious molt acceleration, on the other hand, was obtained during June–July when the population was primarily engaged in molting, but with no reproductive activity. The precocious oocyte maturation(due to de-eyestalking) was minimal in June–July. Significantly, the eyestalk ablation also resulted in a dramatic increase in the hemolymph ecdysteroid titer, revealing that a high ecdysteroid titer would have no restraining influence on vitellogenesis. No spawning was, however, observed among de-eyestalked females, even though their final oocyte size surpassed the size of the normal mature oocytes, implying that spawning is not exclusively under the control of eyestalk hormones. A comparative study performed on the vitelline components of the experimentals and the controls revealed that the precociously incorporated yolk under eyestalk ablation was biochemically impoverished. These results indicate that throughout the annual cycle, both the somatic and the reproductive growth of U. triangularis are under the influence of inhibitory principles from the eyestalks. It is also revealing that mere deprival of the inhibitory principles does not culminate into successful vitellogenesis. | 11 | Characterization of cytotoxic compound from marine sediment derived actinomycete Streptomyces avidinii strain SU4显示文摘Objective:To investigate the cytotoxic activity of actinomycete isolated from marine sediment.Methods:In the present study the DNA was isolated and the ITS region of 16s rRNA was amplified by polymerase chain reaction,using two universal bacterial primers,1492K(5'-GGTTACCTTG'TTAC GACTT-3')and Eubac27F(5'-AGAGTTTGATCCTGGCTC AG-3').The amplified products were purified using TIANgel mini purification kit,ligated to MD18-T simple vector(TaKaRa),and transformed into competent cells of Escherichia coli DH5α.16S rRNA gene fragment was sequenced using forward primer M13F(-47)and reverse primer M13R(-48).Blast search sequence similarity was found against the existing non-redundanl nucleotide sequence database thus,identified as Streptomyces sp SU,Streptomyces rubralavandulae strain SU1,Streptomyces cacaoi strain SU2,Streptomyces cavourensis strain SU3,Streptomyces avidinii strain SU4,Streptomyces globisporus strain SU5,Streptomyces variabilis strain SU6,Streptomyces coelicolor strain SU 7.Among the eight identified isolates,one actinomycete Streptomyces avidinii strain SU4 was selected for further study.Results:Crude extract of the actinomycete isolate exhibited IC_(50)in 64.5μg against Hep-2 cell line,250μg in VERO cell line.This value is very close to the criteria of cytotoxicity activity for the crude extracts,as established by the American National Cancer Institute(NCI)is in IC_(50)<30μg/mL.The CC MS analysis showed that the active principle might be 1,2-benzenedicarboxylic acid,bis(2-methylpropyl)ester(12.17%),isooctyl phthalate(15.29%)with the retention time 15.642 and 21.612,respectively.Conclusions:This study clearly proves that the marine sediment derived actinomycetes with bioactive metabolites can be expected to provide high quality biological material for high throughout biochemical and anticancer screening programs.These results help us to conclude that the potential of using metabolic engineering and post genomic approaches to isolate more bioactive compounds and make their possible commercial application is not far off. | Sudha S Masilamani Selvam M | 2012 | Asian Pacific Journal of Tropical Biomedicine2012，2，10： | 2 |

| 13 | Efficacy and safety of standard and anti-reflux self-expanding metal stent: A systematic review and meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials显示文摘BACKGROUND Self-expanding metal stents are the main palliative treatment modality for unresectable esophageal cancer. Gastroesophageal reflux is a common adverse outcome after placement of esophageal stent for cancer involving the gastroesophageal junction and the gastric cardia. Anti-reflux stents with valve have been designed to prevent the acid reflux. The superiority of anti-reflux stent over standard stent in preventing gastroesophageal reflux has not been established well. This study compares the anti-reflux stent and the standard stent in terms of their efficacy to prevent acid reflux.AIM To compare the standard and the anti-reflux stents in terms of their efficacy,safety, and complications.METHODS The meta-analysis included 8 randomized clinical trials(RCTs) to compare pooled outcomes of total 395 patients. Primary outcomes include improvement in reflux symptoms and dysphagia score. Secondary outcomes include complications of stent migration, occlusion, and bleeding.RESULTS A total of eight RCTs were included in the meta-analysis. Compared to the standard stent, the anti-reflux stent showed a trend towards reduction in the dysphagia score without reaching a statistical significance [Standardized mean difference(SMD):-0.33(-0.71, 0.05); P = 0.09, I2: 37%]. There was no statistical difference in the gastrointestinal reflux(GER) scores between the two types of stents [SMD:-0.17(-0.78, 0.45); P = 0.008, I2: 74%]. Compared to standard stent,anti-reflux stent showed no difference in the risk of stent migration [OR: 1.37(0.66, 2.83); P = 0.40, I2: 0 %], bleeding [OR: 1.43(0.40, 5.13); P = 0.59, I2: 0 %], and obstruction [OR: 1.66(0.60, 4.60); P = 0.33, I2: 0 %].CONCLUSION Traditional self-expanding standard esophageal stent and anti-reflux stent with valve are similar in terms of outcomes and complications. | Sudha Pandit Hrishikesh Samant James Morris Steven J Alexander | 2019 | World Journal of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy2019，11，4： | 2 |
