1Quantitative Trait Loci Mapping for Leaf Length and Leaf Width in Rice cv.IR64 Derived Lines显示文摘The present study was conducted to identify quantitative trait loci(QTLs) for leaf size traits in IR64 introgression lines(INLs).For this purpose,selected F2 populations derived from crosses between recurrent parent IR64 and its derived INLs,unique for leaf length and leaf width,were used to confirm QTLs.A total of eight QTLs,mapped on three chromosomes,were identified for the four leaf size traits in six F2 populations.A QTL for leaf length,qLLnpt-1,in HKL69 was identified around simple sequence repeat(SSR) marker RM3709 on chromosome 1.Two QTLs for flag leaf length,qFLLnpt-2 and qFLLnpt-4,in HFG39 were indentified on chromosomes 2 and 4,respectively.For flag leaf width,a QTL,qFLWnpt-4,in HFG39 was identified around RM17483 on chromosome 4.While another QTL for flag leaf width,qFLWnpt-1,in HFG27 was identified around RM3252 on chromosome 1.A QTL for leaf width,qLWnpt-2,in HKL75 was identified around RM7451 on chromosome 2.For leaf width,two QTLs,qLWnpt-4a,qLWnpt-4b,in HKL48 and HKL99 were identified around RM7208 and RM6909,respectively on chromosome 4.Results from this study suggest the possibilities to use marker-assisted selection and pyramiding these QTLs to improve rice water productivity.Muhammad Farooq Analiza G.Tagle Rizza E.Santos Leodegario A.Ebron Daisuke Fujita Nobuya Kobayashi 2010Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2010,52,6:8
2柑橘类病毒的分子鉴定与分型显示文摘【目的】检测湖南地区柑橘所携带的柑橘类病毒类型,并鉴定柑橘类病毒的亚型。【方法】以田间柑橘枝条韧皮部为试材,提取总RNA,反转录成cDNA,再用不同类型类病毒的特异引物进行PCR扩增,鉴定出各个样品所携带的柑橘类病毒类型;通过测序分析各类型的序列,并与国内外报道的序列进行同源性分析,确定所测样品的亚型。【结果】建立了CEVd、CVdII、CVdⅢ等柑橘类病毒的RT-PCR检测方法。在5个供试样品中检测出3种类型的柑橘类病毒,即柑橘裂皮病类病毒(citrus exocortis viroid,CEVd)、柑橘类病毒Ⅱ型(citrus viriodⅡ,CVdⅡ,又名hop stunt viroid,HSVd)和柑橘类病毒Ⅲ型(citrus viriodⅢ,CVdⅢ),其中CVdⅡ和CVdⅢ为国内首次发现。亚型分析表明CVdⅡ可能为新的亚型;CVdⅢ为b亚型,可能具有矮化功能。【结论】在中国鉴定出3种类型的柑橘类病毒,CEVd与国内已报道的序列完全一致,其中CVdⅡ和CVdⅢ为首次在中国发现;检测到的CVdⅡ可能为新的亚型。马先锋 韩健 邓子牛 舒广平 Rizza S Catara A 2008中国农业科学2008,41,9:6
3Genetic variation in eggplant for Nitrogen Use Efficiency under contrasting NO3^- supply显示文摘Eggplant(Solanum melongena L.) yield is highly sensitive to N fertilization, the excessive use of which is responsible for environmental and human health damage.Lowering N input together with the selection of improved Nitrogen-Use-Efficiency(NUE) genotypes, more able to uptake, utilize, and remobilize N available in soils, can be challenging to maintain high crop yields in a sustainable agriculture. The aim of this study was to explore the natural variation among eggplant accessions from different origins, in response to Low(LN) and High(HN)Nitrate(NO3^-) supply, to identify NUE-contrasting genotypes and their NUE-related traits, in hydroponic and greenhouse pot experiments. Two eggplants, AM222 and AM22, were identified as N-use efficient and inefficient,respectively, in hydroponic, and these results were confirmed in a pot experiment, when crop yield was also evaluated. Overall, our results indicated the key role of Nutilization component(NUt E) to confer high NUE. The remobilization of N from leaves to fruits may be a strategy to enhance NUt E, suggesting glutamate synthase as a key enzyme. Further, omics technologies will be used for focusing on C-N metabolism interacting networks. 4Electromagnetic chirality induced by graphene inclusions in multilayered metamaterials显示文摘We theoretically investigate the electromagnetic response of a novel class of multilayered metamaterials obtained by alternating graphene sheets and dielectric layers,the whole structure not exhibiting a plane of reflection symmetry along the stacking direction.We show that the electromagnetic response of the structure is characterized by a magneto-electric coupling described by an effective chiral parameter.Exploiting the intrinsic tunability of graphene–light coupling,we prove that one can tune both the dielectric and the chiral electromagnetic response by varying the graphene chemical potential through external voltage gating.Carlo Rizza Elia Palange Alessandro Ciattoni 2014Photonics Research2014,2,5:2
