1FREE VIBRATION ANALYSIS OF SIMPLY SUPPORTED BEAM WITH BREATHING CRACK USING PERTURBATION METHOD显示文摘In this paper,a new analytical method for vibration analysis of a cracked simply supported beam is investigated.By considering a nonlinear model for the fatigue crack,the governing equation of motion of the cracked beam is solved using perturbation method.The solution of the governing equation reveals the superharmonics of the fundamental frequency due to the nonlinear effects in the dynamic response of the cracked beam.Furthermore,considering such a solution,an explicit expression is also derived for the system damping changes due to the changes in the crack parameters,geometric dimensions and mechanical properties of the cracked beam.The results show that an increase in the crack severity and approaching the crack location to the middle of the beam increase the system damping.In order to validate the results,changes in the fundamental frequency ratios against the fatigue crack severities are compared with those of experimental results available in the literature.Also,a comparison is made between the free response of the cracked beam with a given crack depth and location obtained by the proposed analytical solution and that of the numerical method.The results of the proposed method agree with the experimental and numerical results.Mousa Rezaee Reza Hassannejad 2010Acta Mechanica Solida Sinica2010,23,5:19
2Rare earth elements distribution in marine sediments of Malaysia coasts显示文摘In the east coast Peninsular Malaysia region,sediments are transported by several rivers from the east Malaysia into the South China Sea estuary.In the vicinity of the five river estuaries core sediments were collected in order to investigate rare earth elements(REEs) profile.Core sediments were divided into strata of between 2 to 4 cm intervals and prepared for analyzing by ICP-AES.REE concentrations of 54.3 μg/gr at 24-26 cm in EC4 increased to 114.1 μg/gr at 20-22 cm in EC5.The measured concentration of LREEs and Fe normalized enrichment factors indicated that sediments were not enriched with light rare earth elements derived from effluents of anthropogenic activities.Results of the total concentration were used to establish baseline data in environmental pollution assessment and to develop the correlations between the Ce/Ce and Eu/Eu anomalies and the distribution patterns of some light rare earth elements(LREEs) and the heavy rare earth elements(HREEs).The chondrite-normalized ratios of REEs showed LREEs enrichment and flat HREE depletion.Rezaee Ebrahim Saraee Khadijeh Saion B.Elias Abdul Khalik Wood Abdi Mohammad Reza 2009Journal of Rare Earths2009,27,6:11

4A NEW APPROACH TO FREE VIBRATION ANALYSIS OF A BEAM WITH A BREATHING CRACK BASED ON MECHANICAL ENERGY BALANCE METHOD显示文摘In this paper, a new approach to free vibration analysis of a cracked cantilever beam is proposed. By considering the effect of opening and closing the crack during the beam vibration, it is modeled as a fatigue crack. Also, local stiffness changes at the crack location are considered to be a nonlinear amplitude-dependent function and it is assumed that during one half a cycle, the frequencies and mode shapes of the beam vary continuously with time. In addition, by using the experimental tests, it is shown that the local stiffness at the crack location varies continuously between the two extreme values corresponding to the fully closed and the fully open cases of the crack. Then, by using the mechanical energy balance the dynamic response of the cracked beam is obtained at every time instant. The results show that for a specific crack depth, by approaching the crack location to the fixed end of the beam, more reduction in the fundamental frequency occurs. Furthermore, for a specific crack location, the fundamental frequency diminishes and the nonlinearity of the system increases by increasing the crack depth. 7Nanopore structure comparison between shale oil and shale gas:examples from the Bakken and Longmaxi Formations显示文摘In order to analyze and compare the differences in pore structures between shale gas and shale oil formations, a few samples from the Longmaxi and Bakken Formations were collected and studied using X-ray diffraction, LECO TOC measurement, gas adsorption and field-emission scanning electron microscope. The results show that samples from the Bakken Formation have a higher TOC than those from the Longmaxi Formation. The Longmaxi Formation has higher micropore volume and larger micropore surface area and exhibited a smaller average distribution of microsize pores compared to the Bakken Formation. Both formations have similar meso-macropore volume. The Longmaxi Formation has a much larger meso-macropore surface area, which is corresponding to a smaller average meso-macropore size. CO_2 adsorption data processing shows that the pore size of the majority of the micropores in the samples from the Longmaxi Formation is less than 1 nm, while the pore size of the most of the micropores in the samples from the Bakken Formation is larger than 1 nm. Both formations have the same number of pore clusters in the 2–20 nm range, but the Bakken Formation has two additional pore size groups with mean pore size diameters larger than 20 nm. Multifractal analysis of pore size distribution curves that was derived from gas adsorption indicates that the samples from the Longmaxi Formation have more significant micropore heterogeneity and less meso-macropore heterogeneity. 9Investigation of a mutual interaction force at different pressure amplitudes in sulfuric acid显示文摘This paper investigates the secondary Bjerknes force for two oscillating bubbles in various pressure amplitudes in a concentration of 95% sulfuric acid.The equilibrium radii of the bubbles are assumed to be smaller than 10 μm at a frequency of 37 kHz in various strong driving acoustical fields around 2.0 bars (1 bar=10 5 Pa).The secondary Bjerknes force is investigated in uncoupled and coupled states between the bubbles,with regard to the quasi-adiabatic model for the bubble interior.It finds that the value of the secondary Bjerknes force depends on the driven pressure of sulfuric acid and its amount would be increased by liquid pressure amplitude enhancement.The results show that the repulsion area of the interaction force would be increased by increasing the driven pressure because of nonlinear oscillation of bubbles.Nastaran Rezaee Rasoul Sadighi-Bonabi Mona Mirheydari Homa Ebrahimi 2011Chinese Physics B2011,20,8:3
10Effect of particle size on high-pressure methane adsorption of coal显示文摘Adsorbed gas cannot be neglected in the evaluation of coalbed methane and shale gas since a significant proportion of gas is stored in the form of adsorbed gas.Adsorbed methane of coal and shale has been widely studied by high-pressure methane adsorption experiment.In sample treatment of the experiment,the sample is crushed and sieved to a particular particle size range.However,how particle size influence high-pressure methane adsorption is still unclear.In this study,low-pressure nitrogen(N_(2))and high-pressure methane adsorption have been measured on coal samples with different particle size.According to N2 sorption analysis,pore volume and surface area increase with particle size reduction.Pore size distribution of small pores(<10nm)changes among varying particle size.Pore volume proportion of small pores(<10nm)increases and pore volume proportion of big pores(>10nm)decreases with decreasing particle size.Decreasing particle size by crushing sample introduces new connectivity for closed pores to the particle surface.The responses of isotherms of high-pressure methane adsorption are different with different particle size.Methane adsorption at initial pressure(145psi)increases with decreasing particle size.Adsorption increase rate at high pressure(435-870psi)decreases with particle size reduction.This can be explained that fine sample has more pore volume and higher pore volume proportion of small pores(<10nm).Sample with particle size of 150-250μm has the highest Langmuir volume.Jie Zou Reza Rezaee 2016Petroleum Research2016,1,1:3
11Synthesis, characterization and TL properties of SrSO_4:Dy,Tb nanocrystalline phosphor显示文摘SrSO4:Dy,Tb nanocrystalline with crystalline size in the range of 44–54 nm was prepared by co-precipitation method followed by thermal treatment and characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD), scanning electron microscopy(SEM), energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(EDX) and UV-visible spectrometry. Our results provided direct evidence of incorporation of impurities into nanocrystalline SrSO4. The thermoluminescence(TL) properties of SrSO4:Dy,Tb nanocrystalline pellets irradiated with gamma rays at different doses were studied. The TL glow curve of SrSO4:Dy,Tb nanocrystalline pellets had a prominent peak at around 490 K and a small peak at around 430 K. The major peak in the TL glow curve was almost resolved from other peaks, which was analyzed using Chen's peak shape method to determine the TL kinetic parameters such as activation energy, E and kinetic order, b. The intensity of main dosimetric peak of SrSO4:Dy,Tb nanocrystalline pellets at around 490 K increased linearly with the increase in gamma dose. The TL response was linear in the range of 0.1–7 kGy. 12Use of 2-(tert-butoxy)-N-(3-carbamothioylphenyl)acetamide and graphene oxide for separation and preconcentration of Fe(Ⅲ),Ni(Ⅱ),Cu(Ⅱ) and Zn(Ⅱ) ions in different samples显示文摘A simple and selective method using a column packed with graphene oxide(GO) as a solid phase extractant has been developed for the multi-element preconcentration of Fe(Ⅲ),Ni(Ⅱ),Cu(Ⅱ) and Zn(Ⅱ)ions prior to flame atomic absorption spectrometric determinations.The method is based on the sorption of mentioned ions on synthesized GO using 2-(tert-butoxy)-N-(3-carbamothioylphenyl)acetamide as a chelating agent.Several parameters on the extraction and complex formation were optimized.Under the optimized conditions(pH 6,flow rate 9 mL/min),metal ions were retained on the column,then quantitatively eluted by HNO3solution(5 mL,3.0 mol/L).The preconcentration factor was calculated as250.The detection limits for the analyte ions of interest were found in the range of 0.11 ng/mL(Ni2+) to0.63 ng/mL(Cu2+).The column packed with GO was adequate for metal ions separation in matrixes containing alkali,alkaline earth,transition and heavy metal ions.Mohammad Reza Pourjavid Ali Akbari Sehat Majid Haji Hosseini Mohammad Rezaee Masoud Arabieh Seyed Reza Yousefi Mohammad Reza Jamali 2014Chinese Chemical Letters2014,25,5:2
