From concept to reality-A review to the primary test stand and its preliminary application in high energy density physics显示文摘Pulsed power technology, whereas the electrical energy stored in a relative long period is released in much shorter timescale,is an efficient method to create high energy density physics(HEDP)conditions in laboratory.Around the beginning of this century,China Academy of Engineering Physics(CAEP)began to build some experimental facilities for HEDP investigations, among which the Primary Test Stand(PTS),a multi-module pulsed power facility with a nominal current of 10 MA and a current rising time~90 ns,is an important achievement on the roadmap of the electro-magnetically driven inertial confinement fusion(ICF)researches.PTS is the first pulsed power facility beyond 10 TW in China. Therefore, all the technologies have to be demonstrated, and all the engineering issues have to be overcome. In this article, the research outline, key technologies and the preliminary HEDP experiments are reviewed.Prospects on HEDP research on PTS and pulsed power development for the next step are also discussed. | Jianjun Deng Weiping Xie Shuping Feng Meng Wang Hongtao Li Shengyi Song Minghe Xia Ji Ce An He Qing Tian Yuanchao Gu Yongchao Guan Bin Wei Xianbin Huang Xiaodong Ren Jiakun Dan Jing Li Shaotong Zhou Hongchun Cai Siqun Zhang Kunlun Wang Qiang Xu Yujuan Wang Zhaohui Zhang Guilin Wang Shuai Guo Yi He Yiwei Zhou Zhanji Zhang Libing Yang Wenkang Zou | 2016 | Matter and Radiation at Extremes2016,1,1: | 19
Fe5C2 nanoparticles as low-cost HER electrocatalyst:the importance of Co substitution显示文摘Constructing and understanding the doping effect of secondary metal in transition metal carbide(TMC)catalysts is pivotal for the design of low-cost hydrogen evolution reaction(HER) electrocatalysts. In this work, we developed a wet-chemistry strategy for synthesizing Co-modified Fe_5C_2 nanoparticles((Fe_(1-x)Cox)_5C_2 NPs) as highly active HER electrocatalysts in basic solution. The structure of(Fe_(1-x)Cox)_5C_2 NPs was characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD), extended X-ray absorption fine structure spectra(EXAFS) and scanning/transmission electron microscopy(S/TEM), indicating that the isomorphous substitution of cobalt in the lattice of Fe_5C_2.(Fe_(0.75) Co_(0.25))_5C_2 exhibited the best HER activity(174 mV for j = -10 mA/cm^2). Computational calculation results indicate that Co provides the most active site for HER. X-ray adsorption spectra(XAS) studies further suggested that the electron transfer in Fe–C bonds are enhanced by the substitution of Co, which modulates the hydrogen adsorption on the adjacent electronic-enriched carbon, and therefore promotes HER activity. Our results affirm the design of lowcost bimetallic TMCs based HER catalysts. | Siwei Li Pengju Ren Ce Yang Xi Liu Zhen Yin Weizhen Li Hanjun Yang Jian Li Xiaoping Wang Yi Wang Ruochen Cao Lili Lin Siyu Yao Xiaodong Wen Ding Ma | 2018 | Science Bulletin2018,63,20: | 6

Is oral microbiome of children able to maintain resistance and functional stability in response to short-term interference of ingesta?显示文摘Dear Editor,A series of studies had focused on the ecological stability of human microbiome(Lozupone et al.,2012;Faith et al.,2013;Moya and Ferrer,2016).Despite the continuous perturbation and the highly personalized composition within the human microbiome(Human Microbiome Project,2012),healthy adults stably maintain their microbial communities in terms of space and time(Faith et al.,2013;Moya and Ferrer,2016;Oh et al.,2016).This stability is proved to be critical for the well-being of human body(Lozupone et al.,2012).On the contrary, major shifts in microbial community composition are often related to diseases(Lynch and Pedersen,2016). | Fangqiao Wei Xiangyu Sun Yufeng Gao Haoyu Dou Yang Liu Lili Su Haofei Luo Ce Zhu Qian Zhang Peiyuan Tong Wen Ren Zhe Xun Ruochun Guo Yuanlin Guan Shenghui Li Yijun Qi Junjie Qin Feng Chen Shuguo Zheng | 2021 | Protein & Cell2021,12,6: | 1
Polyaniline-based electrocatalysts through emulsion polymerization:Electrochemical and electrocatalytic performances显示文摘One of the major challenges associated with fuel cells is the design of highly efficient electrocatalysts to reduce the high overpotential of the oxygen reduction reaction(ORR). Here we report Polyaniline(PANI)based micro/nanomaterials with or without transition metals, prepared by the emulsion polymerization and subsequent heat treatment. PANI microspheres with the diameter of about 0.7 μm have been prepared in basic(NH3solution) condition, using two different types of surfactant(CTAB, SDS) as the stabilizer, ammonium persulphate(APS) as oxidant with aniline/surfactants molar ratio at 1/1 under the hydrothermal treatment. PANI nanorods, Fe–PANI, and Fe–Co–PANI have been synthesized in acidic(HCl)medium with aniline/surfactants molar ratio at 1/2 and polymerization carried out without stirring for24 h. Products mainly Fe–Co–PANI have shown high current density with increasing sweep rate and excellent specific capacitance 1753 F/g at the scan rate of 1 m V/s. Additionally, it has shown high thermal stability by thermogravimetric analysis(TGA). Fe–PANI has been investigated for excellent performance toward ORR with four electron selectivity in the basic electrolyte. The PANI-based catalysts from emulsion polymerization demonstrate that the method is valuable for making non-precious metal heterogeneous electrocatalysts for ORR or energy storage and conversion technology. | Shehnaz Xuedan Song Suzhen Ren Ying Yang Yanan Guo Hongyu Jing Qing Mao Ce Hao | 2017 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2017,26,1: | 1

Visible-light-driven photocatalytic degradation of rhodamine B using Bi_(2)WO_(6)/GO deposited on polyethylene terephthalate fabric显示文摘The environmental repercussions of wastewater from the dye process mean that it is very important to obtain an eco-friendly photocatalyst that would degrade wastewater.Herein, bismuth tungstate/graphene oxide(Bi_(2)WO_(6)/GO)composites are fabricated through in-situ hydrothermal reaction and then the Bi_(2)WO_(6)/GO photocatalysts are deposited onto polyethylene terephthalate(PET)fabric. The obtained Bi_(2)WO_(6)/GO deposited PET fabrics are then characterized through XPS,Raman,SEM,TEM,XRD,UV-vis,BET method and photoluminescence spectroscopy(PL)to investigate their chemical and crystal structures, morphology, optical property, surface area and photochemical properties.Photocatalytic performance is studied through examining the rate of degrading rhodamine B(RhB)under visible light.Surface of PET fibers is densely covered with Bi_(2)WO_(6)/GO.Bi_(2)WO_(6)/GO deposited PET fabrics show a broad absorption band in the visible spectra.Removal rate of RhB on the Bi_(2)WO_(6)/GO deposited PET fabric is the highest with the GO content of 2 g/L(labeled as Bi_(2)WO_(6)/2 g/LGO).The result of active species experiment shows that superoxide radicals(·O_(2)^(−))plays a major role in the degradation of RhB.Moreover,Bi_(2)WO_(6)/2 g/LGO deposited PET fabric shows excellent cycle stability of photocatalytic degradation for RhB.The findings in this work can be extended to preparation other types of composite on the textile for photocatalysis, which can be applied to remove dyes in the wastewater produced by the textile or leather industry. | Zoufei Du Ce Cui Sihang Zhang Hongyan Xiao Erhui Ren Ronghui Guo Shouxiang Jiang | 2020 | Journal of Leather Science and Engineering2020,2,1: | 1
Brasenia-inspired hydrogel with sustained and sequential release of BMP and WNT activators for improved bone regeneration显示文摘Although bone morphogenetic protein(BMP) and WNT signaling play pivotal roles in bone development, homeostasis, and regeneration, the applications of proteins to stimulate corresponding signaling pathways showed limited outcomes in the repair and regeneration of bone defects that might be attributed to the reciprocal interventions of these pathways. In order to satisfy the combinational and sequential activation of BMP and WNT pathways, inspired by the heterogeneous hydrogel-liked structures of Brasenia, heterogeneous alginate/chitosan hydrogels were fabricated and spatially loaded with FK506 and BIO to achieve sustained and sequential release of the activators. Alkaline phosphatase staining, alizarin red staining and q RT-PCR results suggested that FK506 and BIO enhanced osteoblastic differentiation in vitro when used separately. Besides, by mixing and matching the activators and the hydrogel layers, a superior releasing mode that a combination of early FK506 release and following BIO release was identified via both in vitro and in vivo explorations for most efficient bone regeneration. These results suggested that drug-loaded heterogeneous hydrogels possess great potentials in treating bone loss defects for future clinical practice. | Xinqing Hao Xuewei Zhang Yue Hu Chunxia Ren Cangwei Liu Lu Wang Yijun Zhou Shuangshuang Wang Huanyu Luo Guangxing Yan Xiao Wang Xiaomeng Wang Feilong Ren Ce Shi, Wenlong Song Hongchen Sun | 2023 | Chinese Chemical Letters2023,34,7: | 0
Comparison of gene expression responses of zebrafish larvae to Vibrio parahaemolyticus infection by static immersion and caudal vein microinjection显示文摘infection model for studying inflammation and the innate immune response. We investigated the genes and signaling pathways activated by static immersion and caudal vein microinjection infection using transcriptome profiling and reverse-transcription quantitative PCR(RT-qPCR)to compare the innate immune response in 3 days post-fertilization(dpf)zebrafish larvae infected by Vibrio parahaemolyticus Vp13 strain. The median lethal dose(LD50)values at 96 h following immersion and microinjection were 3.63×107 CFU/mL and 5.76×102 CFU/nL,respectively.An innate immune response was initiated after 2 h of incubation with the respective LD50 for each infection method.Six hundred and two genes in the immersion group and 359 genes in the microinjection group were activated and differentially expressed post-infection.Sixty-three Gene Ontology(GO)terms and four Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes(KEGG)pathways were significantly enriched in the immersion group, compared with only three GO terms and no KEGG pathways in the microinjection group. Two genes, tnfb and ccl20a.3,were significantly up-regulated in both groups. We speculated that immersion infection may affect initial dorsal determination, cytochromes, and fatty acid-binding proteins,as well as inflammation, while microinjection infection may mainly directly affect the immune response.Infection with doses>LD50(1.09×109 CFU/mL and 1.09×103 CFU/nL by immersion and microinjection, respectively)caused more significant up-regulation of il11a,tnfa,tnfb,il1b,ccl34a.4,ccl20a.3,irak3,cxcl18b,and ccl35.1,suggesting that in addition to the classical innate immunity genes tnfa,tnfb,il1b,and il6,the genes il11a,ccl34a.4,ccl20a.3,cxcl18b,and ccl35.1 were also important for defending against Vp13 infection. These findings highlight the genes involved in the responses of zebrafish to Vp13 infection via different routes and doses, and thus provide the basis for further analyses of immune response signaling pathways. | Xinya Guo Ce Ji Xuan Du Jianfeng Ren Yao Zu Weiming Li Qinghua Zhang | 2021 | Aquaculture and Fisheries2021,6,3: | 0

Music stimulus has a positive eff ect on survival and development of the larvae in swimming crab Portunus trituberculatus显示文摘The sound stimulus has a signifi cant impact on marine animals. However, many studies have focused on the negative impacts of sound on marine vertebrates. The positive impacts of sound on marine animals, especially on marine invertebrates, were rarely studied. In the present study,we evaluated the eff ects of music on the survival and development of an economically important marine invertebrate, swimming crab Portunus trituberculatus.Three pieces of classical music and a control group,i.e.,Eine Kleine Nachtmusik by Mozart(EK),Bach-Violin Concerto No.1(BV),Anonymous Romanza by Anonymous(AR),and environmental sound(EN)were used. The sound pressure received were 163-dB root mean square(RMS)re 1μPa for EK,166-dB RMS re 1μPa for BV,165-dB RMS re 1μPa for AR,44-dB RMS re 1μPa for EN,respectively. The larvae were subject to 3-h classical music transmission every day during the entire larval development period. The result showed that BV and AR signifi cantly elevated the cumulative survival rate of the larva from 3.42%±1.77%(EN)to 10.65%±1.69%(BV)and 7.12%±1.37%(AR)respectively(P<0.05).Though music did not aff ect the cumulative development time of larvae from ZoeaⅠto ZoeaⅣ,it signifi cantly increased the molting rate of megalopa from 24.00%±11.78%(EN)to 44.00%±13.06%(AR)and 46.67%±10.50%(BV)(P<0.05).Musical exposure during critical growth intervals may contribute to the survival and development of larval crustaceans. From an application point of view, music intervention is much economically feasible. The observed music eff ects imply that music could further enhance growth, welfare, and production. | Zhiming REN Jiechi WANG Chunlin WANG Changkao MU Yangfang YE Ce SHI | 2022 | Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2022,40,3: | 0
On the present and future of medical humanistic care in the era of artificial intelligence显示文摘With the arrival of the fourth industrial revolution, the combination of artificial intelligence and medical treatment has become an inevitable trend. As a people-centered discipline, the importance of humanistic care is self-evident.Based on the development status of humanistic care, this paper discusses that when artificial intelligence is applied to medicine,it will help patients improve the treatment process, protect their right to know and expression, help medical personnel deal with repetitive work, improve work efficiency, provide doctors with psychological medical time and enhance doctor-patient trust. At the same time,it will inevitably lead to the lack of emotion in the way of diagnosis and treatment, the threat to the authority of doctors, and the disclosure of patients'personal information. Therefore,in the era of artificial intelligence, doctors should return to the service foundation of humanistic care,'master'the'art of medicine'of artificial intelligence technology, and improve the practical road of laws and regulations. | Shi-Pian Li Lin-Ru Hou Ke-Wen Chen Zheng-Liang Zhe Ce Ying Yi Guo Hai-Yan Ren | 2022 | History & Philosophy of Medicine2022,4,2: | 0
