1深水压井井筒瞬态传热及复杂流动行为研究显示文摘在深水压井循环期间,随着压井液的循环,井筒瞬态温度场不断变化,导致环空多相流动行为变化复杂,进而影响压井过程中的井筒压力分布。为快速准确地预测深水压井过程中不同循环时间和压井排量下的井筒瞬态温度分布,基于能量守恒原理,综合考虑压井液、钻杆、环空、地层、海水以及隔水管之间的热传递,建立了深水压井过程中井筒瞬态温度场解析模型。结合深水压井井筒瞬态传热特征,模拟分析了深水工程师法压井循环期间的井筒压力演变规律以及环空多相流动行为。分析结果表明:深水压井工况下,环空压井液循环温度与静温剖面相差较大,随着循环时间的延长和排量的增加,环空压井液循环温度逐渐偏离静温剖面;压井液温度的变化进一步影响环空自由气体体积波动,导致环空多相流动行为复杂多变。研究结果可为深水压井设计和现场作业提供理论支撑。冯剑 许博越 付建红 李进 Rashid Hasan 2021石油机械2021,49,2:5
2Splenic injuries secondary to colonoscopy:Rare but serious complication显示文摘BACKGROUND Colonoscopy is a safe and routine diagnostic and therapeutic procedure for evaluation of large bowel diseases.Most common procedure related complications include bleeding and perforation but rarely a splenic Injury.AIM To investigate the reason for colonoscopy,presentation of patient with spleen injury,types of injury,diagnosis,management and outcomes of patients METHODS A structured search on four databases was done and 45 articles with 68 patients were selected.The reason for colonoscopy,presentation of patient with spleen injury,types of injury,diagnosis,management and outcomes of patients were identified and analyzed using SPSS.RESULTS The mean age of the patients was 62.7 years with 64%females.Twenty two percent had a complete splenic rupture with colonoscopy while 63%had subcapsular hematoma,spleen laceration and spleen avulsion.The most common reason for colonoscopy was screening(46%)followed by diagnostic colonoscopy(28%).Eighty seven percent of patients presented with abdominal pain.Patients with spleen rupture mostly required splenectomy(47%),while minor spleen hematomas and lacerations were managed conservatively(38%).Six percent of the patients were managed with proximal splenic artery splenic embolization and 4%were managed with laparoscopic repair.The overall mortality was 10%while 77%had complete recovery.The reason of colonoscopy against presentation specifically,abdominal pain showed no statistical significance P=0.69.The indication of colonoscopy had no significant impact on incidence of splenic injury(P=0.89).Majority of the patients(47%)were managed with splenectomy while the rest were managed conservatively(P=0.04).This association was moderately strong at a cramer’s V test(0.34).The Fisher exact test showed a higher mortality with spleen rupture(P=0.028).CONCLUSION Spleen rupture due to colonoscopy is a significant concern and is associated with high mortality.The management of the patients can be individualized based on clinical presentation.Waqas Ullah Mamoon Ur Rashid Asif Mehmood Yousaf Zafar Ishtiaq Hussain Deepika Sarvepalli Muhammad Khalid Hasan 2020World Journal of Gastrointestinal Surgery2020,12,2:4
3Colon mucosal neoplasia referred for endoscopic mucosal resection:Recurrence of adenomas and prediction of submucosal invasion显示文摘BACKGROUND Endoscopic mucosal resection(EMR)is an effective and minimally invasive alternative to surgery for large polyps and laterally spreading lesions.Gross morphology and surface characteristics may help predict submucosal invasion of the lesion(SMIL)during endoscopic evaluation.This is one of the largest singlecenter studies reporting endoscopic mucosal resection for larger(≥20 mm)colorectal lesions in the United States.AIM To determine the recurrence rate of adenomas and endoscopic features that may predict submucosal invasion of colonic mucosal neoplasia.METHODS This is a retrospective cohort study of all the patients referred for endoscopic mucosal resection for lesions≥20 mm,spanning a period from January 2013 to February 2017.The main outcome measure was identifying features that may predict submucosal invasion of mucosal lesions and predict recurrence of adenomas on follow-up surveillance colonoscopy performed at 4-6 mo.RESULTS A total of 480 patients with 500 lesions were included in the study.The median age was 68(Inter quantile range:14)with 52%males.The most common lesion location was ascending colon(161;32%).Paris classification 0-IIa(Flat elevation of mucosa-316;63.2%);Kudo Pit Pattern IIIs(192;38%)and Granular surface morphology(260;52%)were most prevalent.Submucosal invasion was present in 23(4.6%)out of 500 lesions.The independent risk factors for SMIL were Kudo Pit Pattern IIIL+IV and V(Odds ratio:4.5;P value<0.004)and Paris classification 0-IIc(Odds ratio:18.2;P value<0.01).Out of 500,354 post-endoscopic mucosal resection scars were examined at surveillance colonoscopy.Recurrence was noted in 21.8%(77 cases).CONCLUSION There was overall low prevalence of SMIL in our study.Kudo pit pattern(IIIL+IV and V)and Paris classification 0-IIc were the only factors identified as an independent risk factor for submucosal invasion.The independent risk factor for recurrence was adenoma size(>40 mm).Almost all recurrences(98.8%)were treated endoscopically.Mamoon Ur Rashid Neelam Khetpal Hammad Zafar Saeed Ali Evgeny Idrisov Yuan Du Assaf Stein Deepanshu Jain Muhammad Khalid Hasan 2020World Journal of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy2020,12,7:3

15Preserving Privacy of User Identity Based on Pseudonym Variable in 5G显示文摘The fifth generation(5G)system is the forthcoming generation of the mobile communication system.It has numerous additional features and offers an extensively high data rate,more capacity,and low latency.However,these features and applications have many problems and issues in terms of security,which has become a great challenge in the telecommunication industry.This paper aimed to propose a solution to preserve the user identity privacy in the 5G system that can identify permanent identity by using Variable Mobile Subscriber Identity,which randomly changes and does not use the permanent identity between the user equipment and home network.Through this mechanism,the user identity privacy would be secured and hidden.Moreover,it improves the synchronization between mobile users and home networks.Additionally,its compliance with the Authentication and Key Agreement(AKA)structure was adopted in the previous generations.It can be deployed efficiently in the preceding generations because the current architecture imposes minimal modifications on the network parties without changes in the authentication vector’s message size.Moreover,the addition of any hardware to the AKA carries minor adjustments on the network parties.In this paper,the ProVerif is used to verify the proposed scheme.Mamoon M.Saeed Mohammad Kamrul Hasan Rosilah Hassan Rania Mokhtar Rashid A.Saeed Elsadig Saeid Manoj Gupta 2022Computers, Materials & Continua2022,,3:0

17Efficiency and safety of sofosbuvir in Bangladeshi children with chronic hepatitis C virus显示文摘Background and aims:Currently,treatment with oral direct-acting antivirals is recommended for all hepatitis C virus(HCV)-infected pediatric patients.The aim of this study was to evaluate the efficacy and safety of sofosbuvir and ribavirin combination ther apy for children and adolescents in Bangladesh who are living with chronic HCV in fection.Methods:An experimental study was performed from January 2021 to December 2022.HCV polymerase chain reaction(PCR)-positive thalassemic children,who were 6–18 years of age,were enrolled by consecutive non-probability sampling.Clinical features were recorded,and investigations were performed.All patients were initially treated with sofosbuvir(200 mg for 6-to 11-year-olds and 400 mg for 12-to 18-year-olds)and ribavirin(10–15 mg/kg/day)and were assessed clinically on a four-weekly basis,along with liver-function testing.The total duration of therapy was 24 weeks.HCV PCR was done at the end of treatment and 12 weeks after the completion of treatment to see the sustained virological response.Results:There were 26 cases in total,with a mean age of 9.26?2.82 years;14 were males(53.8%),and 12 females(46.2%).Twenty-five(96.15%)patients achieved a sustained virological response,and the end-of-treatment PCR was negative.One patient(3.85%)was a nonresponder even after 24 weeks of treatment.The medication was well received,with only four patients(15.3%)reporting headaches that were reported untreated.Conclusion:The combination of sofosbuvir and ribavirin is effective in treating chronic HCV infection and is not accompanied by any major negative side effects.Salahuddin Mahmud Jahida Gulshan MdBelayet Hossain Madhabi Baidya Rafia Rashid Farhana Tasneem Ahmed Rashidul Hasan Tanzila Farhana Mohammed Reaz Mobarak MdJahangir Alam Syed Shafi Ahmed 2023iLIVER2023,2,3:0

19Exploring the practice of common oral diseases among the patients visiting in the selected dental college and hospital in Bangladesh显示文摘Background:Having the ability to identify potential health risk factors such as lifestyle,ethnicity,health status,and social determinants associated with oral health status risk,health care providers can take an active role in health screening to discover any need for clinical preventive services,including dental preventive services,and can detect health problems.Methods:A descriptive type of cross-sectional study was conducted to explore the practice of common oral diseases among the patients visiting in the selected dental college and hospital in Bangladesh from October 2019 to December 2019.About 100 patients were interviewed through a semi-structured questionnaire,followed by an oral examination through a checklist and a face-to-face interview.A systematically random sampling technique was employed to select the study population.Results:Among them,the(21-30)year age group shows a maximum 20%,whereas the(71-80)year age group represents the minority with only 2%.Among them,56%were male and 44%were female.Students represent the majority of 26%,whereas others(day laborers)represent only 4%.Decayed teeth remained in 72%of cases,teeth were missing in 31%of cases,and filled teeth were present in 24%of cases.A majority of 71%clean teeth once daily,whereas only 29%clean teeth twice daily.Again,only 30%brush teeth at night and a maximum of 95%brush teeth in the morning.Moreover,a maximum of 68%use toothpaste and brushes,while only 4%use meswak for cleaning their teeth.About 4%of cases with no debris,51%of cases with less than 1/3rd of the tooth with debris,32%of cases with 1/3rd-2/3rd of the tooth with debris,and 13%of cases with more than 2/3rd of the tooth with debris were present.Again,about 30%had no calculus,52%less than 1/3rd of tooth,16%in between 1/3rd and 2/3rd of tooth,and 2%more than 2/3rd of the calculus was present.About 47%of mild,22%of moderate,6%of severe and 25%had no inflammation.Furthermore,for treatment purposes,20.69%was advised for scaling,19.66%for filling,16.90%for root canal treatment,17.59%for extraction,17.24%for prosthodontic treatment,1.03%for orthodontic treatment,2.07%for pulpotomy,2.41%for pulpectomy,and 2.41%for minor surgery.Overall,about 72%of the respondents,mostly the students,are suffering from decayed teeth,which may be due to a lack of frequency of brushing,indicating 95%that it is once daily.In addition,the most alarming situation among them is about 20.69%required scaling,which may be due to improper and inadequate brushing maintenance.Conclusion:to some extent,the above scenario may reflect the negative hallmark for our country’s younger generation in terms of oral health practice.Therefore,the establishment of a preventive oral health policy by our policymakers for the general population,mostly school-going students,on an emergency basis.Khalid Hasan Pasha Md.Fazlul Karim Md.Mahmudur Rahman Ashek Elahi Noor Md.Mamunur Rashid Nahid Al Nomann Kazi Golam Mohiuddin 2022Life Research2022,5,4:0
20Rice plant growth and yield: foliar application of plasma activated water显示文摘Plasma activated water(PAW)was prepared for 10 min to be applied one tofive times as a foliar spray to rice plants,to investigate plant growth,yield and the concentrations of total soluble protein and sugar in the rice grains produced.The results reveal that(1)the plant height,stem diameter,dry weight,chlorophyll and total carotene concentrations were improved by∼15%,∼25%,∼24%,∼47%and∼45%,respectively,with respect to control,(2)defense mechanisms of the plants treated with PAW were improved,(3)concentrations of total soluble protein and sugar were enhanced in the rice grains of PAW treated plants and(4)yield was increased by∼14%.M M RASHID Mamunur RASHID M M HASAN M R TALUKDER 2021Plasma Science and Technology2021,23,7:0
