| 1 | Antibacterial Effects of Chinese Herbal Medicines against Streptococcus iniae in Oreochromis niloticus显示文摘In this study,the antibacterial effects of Chinese herbal medicines against Streptococcus iniae in Oreochromis niloticus were investigated by drug sensitivity test. The results indicated that Streptococcus iniae was extremely sensitive to Galla Chinensis,Fructus Hippophae and Fructus Mume,highly sensitive to Sappan Lignum,Pericarpium Granati,Folium Eucalypti and Radix Scutellariae,moderately sensitive to Rhizoma Coptidis,Radix et Rhizoma Rhei,Flos Caryophyllata,Cortex phellodendri and Rabdosia serra( Maxim.) Hara,and insensitive to Herba Portulacae,Herba Houttuyniae,Polygonum hydropiper L.,Herba Menthae,Radix Glycyrrhizae,Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae,Herba Andrographitis and Rhizoma Acori Tatarinowii. Chinese medicinal herbs which Streptococcus iniae was extremely sensitive or moderately sensitive to were selected and prepared into three Chinese herbal medicine formulae for medicated bath of Oreochromis niloticus infected artificially with Streptococcus iniae. The results showed that medicated bath elicited therapeutic effects on infected Oreochromis niloticus. | 2 | Isolation and Identification of Photobacterium damselae subsp.damselae(PDD) from Tongue Sole显示文摘In May 2016,an epizootic occured among cultured tongue soles caused mass deaths in a fish farm in Qinhuangdao,China.In order to find out the etiological agent,a bacterial strain was isolated from ascites and other tissues of sick tongue sole aseptically collected.The isolate was identified as Photobacterium damselae subsp.damsela(PDD) by isolation culture,Gram staining,physiological identification,morohological observation,biochemical identification and 16S rDNA sequence analysis.The results showed that the isolate shared 99.6% homology with the reference strain in GenBank.The animal regression test displayed that the isolate had very strong pathogenicity to tongue sole.The LD_(50) was 3.1 × 10~4 CFU/mL,and it showed pathogenicity to mammals.The antimicrobial susceptibility test showed the isolate was highly sensitive to nrofloxacin,Norfloxacin,Ciprofloxacin,Mequindox;moderately sensitive to Cefradine,Doxycycline;and insensitive to Gentamicin,Ceftriaxone,Tilmicosin,etc.. | Yang Nan Zhang Zhiqiang Wu Tonglei Zhu Jianxin Fu Yanfang Han Hongsheng Wang Hongbin Shi Qiumei Gao Guisheng | 2018 | Animal Husbandry and Feed Science2018,10,2: | 2 |
| 3 | Effect of immunopotentiator of the Chinese herbal medicine on the quantity of T lymphocyte in chicken显示文摘In order to study the mechanism of immunopotentiator,the quantity of T lymphocyte was observed.Total 240 1-day chikens were divided into 3 groups randomly:one contrast group and two groups being drunk immunopotentiator according to the concentration 10 mL·L^(-1) and 5 mL·L^(-1) lasting for 48 d.The number of T lymphocyte in blood was measured by E-rosette when the chikens were at 12-,24-,36-,and 48-day.The results showed that the percent of T lymphocyte in the trial group was obviously higher than that of the contrast,and the 10 mL·L^(-1) group was higher than that of the 5 mL·L^(-1) group;the quantity distribution of T lymphocyte in intestinal mucosa lymphoid tissue of 14-day,21-day chiken was surveyed in the contrast group and the 10 mL·L^(-1) group with the method of routine histology-slices and ANAE,the results showed that the quantity of T lymphocyte in the 10 mL·L^(-1) group was significantly higher than that of the contrast,which indicated that immunopotentiator increased markedly the quantity of T lymphocyte,and the 10 mL·L^(-1) group was higher than that of the 5 mL·L^(-1) group. | SHI Qiumei SHEN Ping GAO Guisheng ZHAO Ruili TANG Shengling | 2007 | Journal of Northeast Agricultural University(English Edition)2007,14,2: | 1 |
| 4 | Particle Sizes and Antibacterial Activity of Radix Astragalus and Radix Isatidis Ultrafine Powders显示文摘Using 9200 laser particle size analyzer and KYKY-2800 scanning electron microscope,particle sizes and cellular morphology of Radix Astragalus and Radix Isatidis ultrafine powders were observed. According to the results,the particle size of 89.1% of Radix Astragalus ultrafine powders ranged from 1.729 μm to 44. 938 μm,D_(50)=4.368 μm; t he particle size of 93.411% of Radix Isatidis ultrafine powders ranged from 1. 510 μm to 44. 938 μm,D50= 8.726 μm. Radix Astragalus and Radix Isatidis ultrafine powders were pulverized completely without intact cellular morphology. The antibacterial activity of Radix Astragalus and Radix Isatidis ultrafine powders against chicken-derived E. coli(O78) w as investigated. The results indicated that Radix Astragalus and Radix Isatidis ultrafine powders exhibited higher antibacterial activity against chicken-derived E. coli(O78) c ompared with the corresponding coarse powders. The carrying status of HPI(irp2, fyu A) was detected by PCR. [Result] Eight strains of E. coli were pathogenic E. coli, and the carrying rate of HPI(irp2, fyu A) was 100%,positively correlated with the pathogenicity. | 7 | Influences of Echinacea Polysaccharide on Secretion of IL-8mRNA by LPS-injured IEC-6 Cells显示文摘[Objective] The paper aimed to study the effects of Echinacea polysaccharide on secretion of IL-8m RNA by LPS-injured IEC-6 cells,in order to figure out the mechanism of EPS on injured cells. [Method]Total RNA was extracted with TRIzon reagent. IL-8 m RNA was amplified by RT-PCR and detected by agarose gel electrophoresis. Furthermore,electrophoresis and image was analyzed. [Result] The 50 μg/m L EPS could partially inhibit IL-8 m RNA level produced by LPS-stimulated IEC-6; with the increasing concentration of EPS(200 and 500 μg/m L),the inhibitory effect against IL-8 m RNA gradually enhanced. IEC-6 was pretreated by 50,100,200 and 500 μg/m L EPS for 24 h,then stimulated by 10 μg/m L LPS for 1 and 4 h,respectively. RT-PCR analysis showed that the expression of IL-8 m RNA induced by LPS was effectively inhibited by EPS; the inhibitory effect of EPS on expression of IL-8m RNA after stimulated by LPS for 4 h was more intense and the expression concentration was lower; the inhibitory rate at 4 h was higher than that at 1 h. | 8 | Feasibility and physics potential of detecting ^(8)B solar neutrinos at JUNO显示文摘The Jiangmen Underground Neutrino Observatory(JUNO)features a 20 kt multi-purpose underground liquid scintillator sphere as its main detector.Some of JUNO's features make it an excellent location for^8B solar neutrino measurements,such as its low-energy threshold,high energy resolution compared with water Cherenkov detectors,and much larger target mass compared with previous liquid scintillator detectors.In this paper,we present a comprehensive assessment of JUNO's potential for detecting^8B solar neutrinos via the neutrino-electron elastic scattering process.A reduced 2 MeV threshold for the recoil electron energy is found to be achievable,assuming that the intrinsic radioactive background^(238)U and^(232)Th in the liquid scintillator can be controlled to 10^(-17)g/g.With ten years of data acquisition,approximately 60,000 signal and 30,000 background events are expected.This large sample will enable an examination of the distortion of the recoil electron spectrum that is dominated by the neutrino flavor transformation in the dense solar matter,which will shed new light on the inconsistency between the measured electron spectra and the predictions of the standard three-flavor neutrino oscillation framework.IfDelta m^(2)_(21)=4.8times10^(-5);(7.5times10^(-5))eV^(2),JUNO can provide evidence of neutrino oscillation in the Earth at approximately the 3sigma(2sigma)level by measuring the non-zero signal rate variation with respect to the solar zenith angle.Moreover,JUNO can simultaneously measureDelta m^2_(21)using^8B solar neutrinos to a precision of 20% or better,depending on the central value,and to sub-percent precision using reactor antineutrinos.A comparison of these two measurements from the same detector will help understand the current mild inconsistency between the value of Delta m^2_(21)reported by solar neutrino experiments and the KamLAND experiment. | 9 | Histopathological Observation of Cynoglossus semilaevis Günther with Abdominal Dropsy in Industrial Aquaculture显示文摘Objective This study aimed to investigate and analyze the histopathological changes in various tissues and organs of Cynoglossus semilaevis Günther with abdominal dropsy. Method By HE staining,pathological tissues of main organs of C. semilaevis Günther with abdominal dropsy were observed. Result According to the results of histopathological observation,C. semilaevis Günther with abdominal dropsy exhibited a large amount of ascites in the abdominal cavity;small intestinal mucosal epithelial cells were denatured and necrotic,and shed into the enteric cavity,with submucosal vascular congestion; the liver and pancreas tissues were denatured and necrotic,and the morphology of most liver cells disappeared. However,there was no remarkable pathological change in the heart,spleen and other organs. | 11 | PCR Detection of Streptococcus agalactiae in Dairy Cows Suffering from Mastitis显示文摘[Objective] This study aimed to identify Streptococcus agalactiae and lay the foundation for the prevention and control of mastitis in dairy cows. [Method]Ten strains were isolated from milk samples produced by diseased dairy cows suffering from mastitis for morphologic observation,culture characteristic investigation,biochemical identification and Lancefield grouping. The isolated strains were identified at the molecular level by nested-PCR. [Result] Among the ten isolates,six strains were β-hemolytic and Gram-positive on blood agar,belonging to Lancefield group B,which were identified as Streptococcus agalactiae by biochemical identification and nested-PCR. After overnight incubation,the coincidence rate between results of nested-PCR detection and biochemical identification reached 100%. [Method]Conventional Chinese medicine plate dilution method,plate punching method and test tube method were applied to screen Chinese herbal medicines against avian infectious laryngotracheitis virus based on chicken embryo inoculation experiment. [Result] Forsythia suspensa,Radix Isatidis,Isatis indigotica,Lonicera japonica, Codonopsis pilosula,Astragalus membranaceus,Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae,Glycyrrhiza uralensis and Pericarpium granati had relatively strong anti-ILTV effect; among the Chinese herbal medicines against avian E. coli,Sanguisorba officinalis,Fructus Mume,Rheum palmatum,Anemarrhena asphodeloides,Radix Scutellariae and Fagopyrum cymosum had relatively strong effect against avian E. coli O 8,while other Chinese herbal medicines had relatively weak or no inhibitory effect on avian E. coli O 8 and O 5. | 13 | Histopathological Observation of Goose Escherichia coli Disease显示文摘[Objective]This study aimed to provide reliable basis for in-depth understanding of histopathological changes in geese suffering from Escherichia coli disease and accurate diagnosis of goose E. coli disease. [Method]By using paraffin embedding,section slicing and HE staining,histopathological changes in the heart,liver,spleen,lung,kidney and small intestine tissues of three diseased geese were observed. [Result]The liver generated protein fiber membranes,showing liver cell degeneration,increasing number of red blood cells in sinusoids and liver congestion; the kidney had relatively serious lesions,including renal tubular epithelial cell degeneration,necrosis and shedding from the basement membrane and hyaline degeneration of glomerulars. The lung showed epithelial cell degeneration and necrosis and was filled with a large number of red blood cells and shedded epithelial cells,showing typical red hepatization; a large number of red blood cells were aggregated in pulmonary blood vessels,resulting in lung congestion. Epithelial cells of various digestive tubes all showed varying degrees of minor shedding and local infiltration of inflammatory cells,thereby leading to death of geese due to substance metabolism,electrolyte and acid-base balance disorders and metabolic acidosis. [Method] Nucleoprotein extracted from IEC-6 cells in normal control group,LPS group,different concentrations of EPS( 50,100,200,500 μg/m L) + LPS groups were detected by SDSPAGE electrophoresis,and the content of NF-κB protein was analyzed using western blotting method. [Result] The content of NF-κB protein in normal control group was the lowest,while that in LPS group was the highest. The content of NF-κB protein in EPS group gradually decreased with the increasing concentration of EPS. [Result]The expression of NF-κB protein increased when IEC-6 cells were stimulated by LPS,and EPS could effectively inhibit increased expression of NF-κB protein. [Methods]A pathogenic E. coli strain was isolated from dead foxes with diarrhea. By conventional bacterial isolation and culture,morphological observation,pathogenicity test and K-B disc method,the isolated strain was identified as pathogenic E. coli. [Results]The isolated pathogen was highly sensitive to ceftriaxone,cefotaxime,ciprofloxacin and lincomycin,moderately sensitive to enrofloxacin,neomycin,gentamycin,spectinomycin,florfenicol,amikacin and polymyxin,and resistant to ampicillin,amoxicillin and doxycycline. | 19 | Effects of Two Drugs on Small Intestinal Epithelial Lymphocytes of Experimental Piglets with Spleen Deficiency显示文摘[Objective] This study aimed to investigate the effects of Guchang Cuzhang powder and Smecta on small intestinal epithelial lymphocytes of piglets with spleen deficiency and diarrhea induced by Reserpine. [Method] Eighteen piglets with reserpine-induced spleen deficiency and diarrhea were selected and randomly divided into three groups,six per group,including Guchang Cuzhang powder group,Smecta group and spleen deficiency control group. Piglets in two drug administration groups were treated for 7 d using Guchang Cuzhang powder and Smecta,respectively. On the 2ndd and 8thd after drug withdrawal,three piglets in each group were euthanized by jugular vein bleeding to death. Intestine segments in different groups were collected for paraffin embedding,section preparation and HE staining,to conduct histological observation and count the number of small intestinal epithelial lymphocytes. [Result] Compared with the spleen deficiency control group,the number of lymphocytes in small intestinal epithelium of piglets in two drug administration groups increased significantly; in addition,the number of lymphocytes in small intestinal epithelium of piglets in Guchang Cuzhang powder group was significantly higher than that in Smecta group.
