1Catalytic synthesis of acetals and ketals with H3PW12O40/PAn显示文摘A new environmental friendly catalyst H3PW12O40/PAn was prepared and identified by means of FT-IR,XRD,and TG/DTA.The optimum conditions have been found;that is,the mass ratio of PAn to H3PW12O40 is 1:1.5,the volume of methanol is 20 mL,and the reflux reaction time is 3 h.The structural identity of Keggin units is preserved after the incorporation into polyaniline matrix.Catalytic activities of H3PW12O40/PAn in synthesizing 2-methyl-2-ethoxycarbonylmethyl-1,3-dioxolane,2,4-dimethyl-2-ethoxycarbonylmethyl-1,3-dioxolane,cyclohexanone ethylene ketal,cyclohexanone 1,2-propanediol ketal,butanone ethylene ketal,butanone 1,2-propanediol ketal,2-phenyl-1,3-dioxolane,4-methyl-2-phenyl-1,3-dioxolane,2-propyl-1,3-dioxolane,and 4-methyl-2-propyl-1,3-dioxolane were reported.It has been demon-strated that H3PW12O40/PAn is an excellent catalyst.Various factors concerned in these reactions were investigated.The optimum conditions are as follows:the molar ratio of aldehyde/ketone to glycol(r) is 1:1.5,the mass ratio of the catalyst used to the reactants is 0.6%,and the reaction time is 1.0 h.Under these conditions,the yield is as follows:2-methyl-2-ethoxycarbonylmethyl-1,3-dioxolane,69.0%;2,4-dimethyl-2-ethoxycarbonylmethyl-1,3-dioxolane,79.5%;cyclohexanone ethylene ketal,78.9%;cyclohexanone 1,2-propanediol ketal,85.3%;butanone ethylene ketal,56.9%;butanone 1,2-propanediol ketal,78.1%;2-phenyl-1,3-dioxolane,76.3%;4-methyl-2-phenyl-1,3-dioxolane,94.2%;2-propyl-1,3-dioxolane,70.7%;and 4-methyl-2-propyl-1,3-dioxolane,79.2%.YANG Shuijin ZHANG Yijun DU Xinxian Philippe G. 2Combination therapy for advanced hepatocellular carcinoma:do we see the light at the end of the tunnel?显示文摘Importance:Combination therapies of anti-PD-1 and anti-angiogenesis regimens are emerging rapidly and exhibit more promising anti-tumor efficacy for advanced hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC),and consistently it is the hotspot in clinical studies.Objective:To elaborate several issues which are warranted further consideration as more regimens are being investigated in combination therapies.Evidence Review:We searched PubMed,MEDLINE,Cochrane Library and Google Scholar by 2021 February for publications on combination therapies for HCC.Findings:Several clinical issues are worth reconsidering,such as the evaluation on appropriate primary endpoints in phase III clinical trials as for different practical problems,the translation of surrogate endpoint objective response rate(ORR)benefits into overall survival(OS)benefits,and whether conversion surgery contributes to initial expectations of long-term survival or not.New concepts in novel immunotherapy and targeted therapy in combination with loco-regional therapies may improve overall survival for HCC.Conclusions and Relevance for Reviews:Comprehensive understanding of the mechanism of immunotherapy and targeted therapy contributes to better prognosis of advanced HCC and more explorative combination therapies are needed.Ti Zhang Philippe Merle Huaqi Wang Haitao Zhao Masatoshi Kudo 2021Hepatobiliary Surgery and Nutrition2021,10,2:7

13Polyaniline Supported 12-Tungstosilicic Acid as the Catalyst for Acetals and Ketals Synthesis显示文摘A novel environmental friendly catalyst, H4SiW12O40/PAn was prepared and identified by FT-IR, XRD and TG/DTA. The optimal synthetic protocol was a PAn to H4SiW12O40 mass ratio of 1∶1, a 20 mL of methanol and a reaction time of 2 h at reflux. It was used in catalytic synthesis of ten important ketals and acetals with a high catalytic activity. 14Comparison and analysis of the efficacy of drug therapy for liver cancer显示文摘Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)is a poor prognosis tumor when not accessible to potentially curative treatments such as surgical resection,thermal ablations or liver transplantation.Systemic cytotoxic chemotherapies have shown inconsistent clinical benefit.In 2007,sorafenib,a tyrosine kinase inhibitor(TKI),was the first systemic therapy able to significantly improve the outcome of HCC patients non-eligible for curative or loco-regional therapies,despite a modest tolerance and low tumor objective response rate(ORR).Among the newer TKIs approved after 2017,lenvatinib was the first to show a striking ORR and demonstrate non-inferiority vs.sorafenib in the first-line setting.Furthermore,phase 3 trials showed the benefit of other TKIs,regorafenib and cabozantinib,and the anti-angiogenic ramucirumab monoclonal antibody,in systemic second-line therapy.Immune checkpoint inhibitors targeting PD1,achieved striking tumor shrinkage in some patients in monotherapy,seeming to be associated with exciting outcomes.Unfortunately,this occurred in too few patients to improve the median overall survival.More recently,the combination of anti-angiogenic drugs targeting the liver microenvironment with PD-1/PD-L1 inhibitors,such as the combination of bevacizumab and atezolizumab,proved to be substantially effective in phase 3,and other combinations of PD-1/PD-L1 and CTLA-4 inhibitors or TKIs have raised a lot of hopes for the systemic treatment of HCC.Philippe Merle Miroslava Subic 2020Hepatoma Research2020,6,9:0
