2Progress and prospects of innovative coal-fired power plants within the energy internet显示文摘The development of electrical engineering and electronic, communications, smart power grid, and ultra-high voltage transmission technologies have driven the energy system revolution to the next generation: the energy internet. Progressive penetration of intermittent renewable energy sources into the energy system has led to unprecedented challenges to the currently wide use of coal-fired power generation technologies. Here, the applications and prospects of advanced coal-fired power generation technologies are analyzed. These technologies can be summarized into three categories:(1) large-scale and higher parameters coal-fired power generation technologies, including 620/650/700 oC ultra-supercritical thermal power and double reheat ultra-supercritical coal-fired power generation technologies;(2) system innovation and specific, highefficiency thermal cycles, which consist of renewable energy-aided coal-fired power generation technologies, a supercritical CO_2 Brayton cycle for coal-fired power plants, large-scale air-cooling coal-fired power plant technologies, and innovative layouts for waste heat utilization and enhanced energy cascade utilization;(3) coal-fired power generation combined with poly-generation technologies, which are represented by integrated gasification combined cycle(IGCC) and integrated gasification fuel cell(IGFC) technologies. Concerning the existing coal-fired power units, which are responsible for peak shaving, possible strategies for enhancing flexibility and operational stability are discussed. Furthermore, future trends for coal-fired power plants coupled with cyber-physical system(CPS) technologies are introduced. 3High-resolution Imaging of Living Retina through Optic Adaptive Retinal Imaging System显示文摘Purpose: To evaluate the possibility as well as the usage of adaptive optics in high-resolution retinal imaging.Methods:From March to November 2001, the fundus of 25 adults were checked by using Optic Adaptive Retinal Imaging System (OAS). The age of the subjects varied from 18~48 years. All had normal visual acuity from 0.9 to 1.0. No abnormality was found in the ocular examination, and their medical as well as ocular history was unremarkable. Results: High-resolution images of the retinal cells, photoreceptor and bipolar cell, were analysed. In these images, the cells are clearly resolved. The density of the photoreceptor at area 1.5 degree from the foveloa is around 40 000~50 000/mm2. At area 3 degree, it drops to less than 30 000/mm2.Conclusion:Optic Adaptive Retinal Imaging System (AOS) is able to get high-resolution image of retinal cells in living human eyes. 4Sensitivity Analysis of Energy Consumption for Cylinder Efficiency of A 1 000 MW Steam Turbine Unit显示文摘以东汽1000MW汽轮机为研究对象,采用汽轮机组定功率变工况计算方法,对汽轮机各汽缸效率在THA、70%THA、50%THA、40%THA滑压工况进行敏度分析,得到相应工况下各汽缸效率变化对汽轮机热耗率和机组发、供电煤耗率的影响规律。分析表明,缸效率的能耗敏度随缸效率变化基本呈线性关系;低压缸效率的能耗敏度最大,高压缸效率次之,中压缸效率较小;随机组负荷降低,高压缸效率的能耗敏度增加,中、低压缸效率的能耗敏度变化较小。在THA工况下低压缸效率下降1%,供电煤耗敏度绝对值增加1.246g/(kW·h),相对值升高0.433%;高压缸效率下降1%,供电煤耗敏度的绝对值增加0.44g/(kW.h),相对值升高0.154%;中压缸效率下降1%,供电煤耗敏度的绝对值增加0.352g/(kW.h),相对值升高0.122%。分析结果可对同类型机组进行节能诊断,进而指导机组的优化运行。YANG Zhiping YANG Yongping WANG Ningling 2012中国电机工程学报2012,32,26:5
5A Tilt-correction Adaptive Optical System for the Solar Telescope of Nanjing University显示文摘A tilt-correction adaptive optical system installed on the 430 mm Solar Telescope of Nanjing University has been put in operation. It consists of a tip-tilt mirror, a correlation tracker and an imaging CCD camera. An absolute difference algorithm is used for detecting image motion in the correlation tracker. The sampling frequency of the system is 419 Hz. We give a description of the system's configuration, an analysis of its performance and a report of our observational results. A residual jitter of 0.14 arcsec has been achieved. 6Energy hub-based optimal planning for integrated energy systems considering part-load characteristics and synergistic effect of equipment显示文摘Integrated energy systems(lESs)represent a promising energy supply model within the energy internet.However,multi-energy flow coupling in the optimal configuration of IES results in a series of simplifications in the preliminary planning,affecting the cost,efficiency,and environmental performance of IES.A novel optimal planning method that considers the part-load characteristics and spatio-temporal synergistic effects of IES components is proposed to enable a rational design of the structure and size of IES.An extended energy hub model is introduced based on the“node of energy hub”concept by decomposing the IES into different types of energy equipment.Subsequently,a planning method is applied as a two-level optimization framework-the upper level is used to identify the type and size of the component,while the bottom level is used to optimize the operation strategy based on a typical day analysis method.The planning problem is solved using a two-stage evolutionary algorithm,combing the multiple-mutations adaptive genetic algorithm with an interior point optimization solver,to minimize the lifetime cost of the IES.Finally,the feasibility of the proposed planning method is demonstrated using a case study.The life cycle costs of the IES with and without consideration of the part-load characteristics of the components were$4.26 million and$4.15 million,respectively,in the case study.Moreover,ignoring the variation in component characteristics in the design stage resulted in an additional 11.57%expenditure due to an energy efficiency reduction under the off-design conditions.Chengzhou Li Yongping Yang Zhuo Wang Ningling Wang Ligang Wang Zhiping Yang 2021Global Energy Interconnection2021,4,2:3

8Yes-associated protein-1 may serve as a diagnostic marker and therapeutic target for residual/recurrent hepatocellular carcinoma post-transarterial chemoembolization显示文摘Background and aim:The transcriptional co-activator Yes-associated protein-1(YAP1)has been impli-cated as an oncogene and is overexpressed in different kinds of human cancers,especially hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).However,the role of YAP1 has not been reported in residual/recurrent HCC after transarterial chemoembolization(TACE).Our aim is to determine whether YAP1 is overexpressed in the residual/recurrent HCC after TACE.Methods:A total of 105 tumor tissues from 71 patients including 30 cases of primary HCC without prior treatment,35 cases of residual/recurrent HCC post TACE,and 6 cases of hepatoblastoma were included in the immunohistochemical study.YAP1 immunoreactivity was blindly scored as 0,1+,2+or 3+in density and percentages of positive cells.Results:About 33.3%(10/30)of primary HCC without prior treatment showed 2+of YAP1 immunore-activity.While 82.8%(29/35)of residual/recurrent HCCs after TACE treatment displayed 2-3+of YAP1 immunoreactivity,which was significantly higher compared to primary HCC without prior treatment(P=0.0002).YAP1 immunoreactivity was moderately to strongly positive(2-3+)in 100%of the hep-atoblastoma,particularly in the embryonal components(3+in 100%cases).Conclusions:YAP1 is significantly upregulated in the residual/recurrent HCCs post TACE treatment,suggesting that YAP1 may serve as a sensitive diagnostic marker and a treatment target for residual/recurrent HCC post TACE.Xia Qian Wei Zhang Alireza Shams Kahee Mohammed Alex S.Befeler Ningling Kang Jinping Lai 2020Liver Research2020,4,4:2
9YTHDF2 is essential for spermatogenesis and fertility by mediating a wave of transcriptional transition in spermatogenic cells显示文摘The dynamic and reversible regulation roles of m^(6)A modification and the characterization of m^(6)A readers have provided new insights into spermatogenesis at the post-transcriptional level.YTHDF2,as an m^(6)A reader,has been reported to mediate the m^(6)A-containing transcript decay during the mouse oocyte maturation,embryonic stem cell differentiation,neural development,and zebrafish maternal-to-zygotic transition.However,the roles of YTHDF2 in mammalian spermatogenesis are uncertain.Here,we generated germ cell-specific Ythdf2 mutants(Ythdf2-vKO)at a C57BL/6J background and demonstrated that YTHDF2 is essential for mouse spermatogenesis and fertility.Ythdf2-vKO provides oligoasthenoteratozoospermia phenotype with increased apoptosis in germ cells.High-throughput RNA-seq analysis showed that a group of mRNAs is upregulated in Ythdf2-vKO mouse testis;further analysis and MeRIP-qPCR data showed that most of the upregulated genes in Ythdf2-vKO mouse testis are modified with m^(6)A and are YTHDF2 candidate binding genes.Interestingly,RNA-seq analysis combined with our previous single-cell transcriptomics data of mouse spermatogenesis pointed out the failure of a wave of transcript transition during the spermatogenesis of Ythdf2-vKO mice,which was confirmed by gene expression analysis using qPCR of diplotene spermatocytes and round spermatids obtained through fluorescence-activated cell sorting.Our study demonstrates the fundamental role of YTHDF2 during mouse spermatogenesis and provides a potential candidate for the diagnosis of male infertility with the oligoasthenoteratozoospermia syndrome.Xinxi Zhao Zhen Lin Yong Fan Wenzhi Li Yujie Zhang Fei Li Tong Hong Hua Feng Minghan Tong Ningling Wang Yanping Kuang Qifeng Lyu 2021Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2021,53,12:2
10Cell cycle regulator geminin is dispensable for the proliferation of vascular smooth muscle cells显示文摘The proliferation of vascular smooth muscle cells(VSMCs) plays a major role in the pathogenesis of many cardiovascular diseases.Geminin regulates DNA replication and cell cycle progression and plays a key role in the proliferation of cancer cells.We therefore hypothesized that geminin regulates the proliferation of VSMCs.The present study demonstrates that the level of geminin expression was low in quiescent VSMCs(approximately 90% and 10% of cells in the G1 and in S/G2/M phases of the cell cycle,respectively),increased as more cells entered in S/G2/M,and then decreased as cells exited S/G2/M.Further,angiotensin II and norepinephrine stimulated expression of geminin in VSMCs.However,the DNA content,nuclear morphology,percentage of cells at different stages of the cell cycle,and rate of proliferation of VSMCs from which geminin was either depleted or overexpressed were all similar.These findings indicate geminin functions differently in VSMCs than it does in cancer cell lines and that it may provide a target for treating cancers without affecting normal cells.GUO JianQiang SUN NingLing 2013Science China(Life Sciences)2013,56,8:2

19Inhibitory Effect of Diclofenac Sodium on the Proliferation of Rabbit Corneal Epithelial Cells in vitro显示文摘Purpose:To investigate the inhibitory effect of diclofenac sodium on rabbit corneal epithelial cells (RCECs) in vitro and explore its pharmacological mechanism. Methods: The fresh rabbit cornea was cultured to get the primary RCECs,and RCECs of passage 2 were used for the research. The cells were divided into experimental groups,the cells in which were incubated with different concentrations(18.18, 27.27, 36.36, 45.45, 54.55 μg/ml) of diclofenac sodium, and control group. The effect of diclofenac sodium on the proliferation of cells was measured by methyl thiazolyl thiazolium (MTT) assay 24, 48 and 72 h after incubation. While the RCECs were divided into experimental groups, the cells in which were incubated with 9 and 12.5 μg/ml diclofenac sodium, and control group. The cell cycle and apoptotic rate were observed by flow cytometer. Results:MTT assay showed that diclofenac sodium had obvious inhibitory effect on RCECs,and the inhibition rate was increasing along with the increase of the concentration of diclofenac sodium and the incubation time(P<0.05). Flow cytometer showed that after incubation with diclofenac sodium, the cells in G0/G1 phase were obviously increased, the apoptosis cusp and apoptotic rate were increased. Conclusion: Diclofenac sodium has obvious inhibitory effect on RCECs, which was dosage-dependent,and it may function by inducing cell apoptosis and ceasing cells cycles.Ningling Wu Zhiyu Du 2010Eye Science2010,25,2:1
