| 2 | Genomic Analysis of the Natural Population of Wheat dwarf virus in Wheat from China and Hungary显示文摘During the last decade, the leafhopper transmitted Wheat dwarf virus (WDV) has become a serious problem both in northwestern China and Hungary. In order to study the molecular diversity and population structure of WDV in these two countries, 39 Chinese isolates and 16 Hungarian isolates were collected from different regions of China and Hungary, and their genomes were sequenced. All isolates belonged to the wheat strain of WDV and showed limited genetic diversity. The highest and lowest nucleotide sequence identities among isolates from China and Hungary were 99.9 and 90%, respectively. In all isolates, the lowest nucleotide sequence identity was 89.5% between MO10-1 and KP10-5, which were collected from Martonvàsàr and Kompolt, Hungary. Phylogenetic analyses showed the genome sequences of 55 WDV isolates belong to two big clades, but no clear correlation to geographical location. Population difference analyses indicated that the Chinese and Hungarian WDV populations have no significant difference. | 4 | The potential application of red mud and soil mixture as additive to the surface layer of a landfill cover system显示文摘Red mud, the by-product of aluminum production, has been regarded as a problematic residue all over the world. Its storage involves risks as evidenced by the Ajka red mud spill,an accident in Hungary where the slurry broke free, flooding the surrounding areas. As an immediate remediation measure more than 5 cm thick red mud layer was removed from the flooded soil surface. The removed red mud and soil mixture(RMSM) was transferred into the reservoirs for storage. In this paper the application of RMSM is evaluated in a field study aiming at re-utilizing waste, decreasing cost of waste disposal and providing a value-added product. The purpose was to investigate the applicability of RMSM as surface layer component of landfill cover systems. The field study was carried out in two steps: in lysimeters and in field plots. The RMSM was mixed at ratios ranging between 0 and 50% w/w with low quality subsoil(LQS) originally used as surface layer of an interim landfill cover. The characteristics of the LQS + RMSM mixtures compared to the subsoil(LQS) and the RMSM were determined by physical–chemical, biological and ecotoxicological methods. The addition of RMSM to the subsoil(LQS) at up to 20% did not result any ecotoxic effect, but it increased the water holding capacity. In addition, the microbial substrate utilization became about triple of subsoil(LQS) after 10 months. | 5 | 与 transarterial chemoembolization 对待的 Hepatocellular 癌: 有参量的提高对比的 ultrasonography 的评估显示文摘 AIM:To evaluate the response of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC) to transarterial chemoembolization(TACE) using a simplified protocol of parametric contrastenhanced ultrasound(pCEUS).METHODS:Eighteen patients with HCC(18 target tumors,diameter:2.8-12 cm) were evaluated before,and 20 d after TACE.The distribution and morphology of TACE-induced necrosis in these tumors precluded accurate evaluation by visual assessment or by simple measurements.For pCEUS,a 4.8 mL bolus of SonoVue(Bracco,Milan,Italy) was intravenously administered and analysis of tumor perfusion during the initial phase of enhancement(0-30 s post injection) was performed with dedicated software(Qontrast,Bracco,Milan,Italy).Time-intensity curves were plotted and three parameters were calculated:peak intensity(PI,in percentage %),time to peak(TTP in seconds,s) and area under the curve during wash-in(AUC-WI,in arbitrary units,a.u).Magnetic resonance imaging was the standard imaging modality for post-treatment evaluation.Changes in tumor size were recorded and response was assessed according to response evaluation criteria in solid tumors criteria.RESULTS:A statistically significant decrease in PI and AUC-WI was observed in the treated tumors post TACE;PIpre:21.5% ± 8.7%(mean ± SD),PIpost:12.7% ± 6.7%,P < 0.001,AUC-WI pre:17493 ± 9563 a.u,AUCWI post:9585 ± 5494 a.u,P < 0.001.A slight increase in TTP was noted post TACE,but this was not statistically significant;TTP pre:13.1 ± 4.3 s,TTP post:13.6 ± 4.2 s,P = 0.058).The changes in the aforementioned parameters were not accompanied by significant tumor shrinkage.CONCLUSION:pCEUS,even when limited to the study of the arterial phase of tumoral enhancement,can detect and quantify early perfusional changes in HCC post TACE. | Hippocrates Moschouris Katerina Malagari Athanasios Marinis Ioannis Kornezos Konstantinos Stamatiou Georgios Nikas Marina Georgiou Papadaki Panagiotis Gkoutzios | 2012 | World Journal of Radiology2012，4，8： | 3 |
